Waching daily Sep 3 2018

CLOSED CAPTION BY YOUTUBE! so I decided to test out a few things I

picked up a few deals here and there

very quickly and and then also my father

set apart what's going on I'm starting

right away the first time I will do this

type of presentation online yeah - guys

- real estate I'm gonna go ahead anyway

alright so first of all let me go ahead

and mute that whatever it is that's

talking right now all right cool yep I'm

your dad

perfect all right cool so it's gonna be

an exciting time we'll try to keep it

under an hour okay but if you are here

because you're cool years what I have to

share kudos to you rightfully so because

the concept of what I'm sharing with you

it's going to shake up the industry

heavy over the next few years

well consider yourself lucky for being

here right now okay because I am part of

another industry that this concept kind

of shook up back in 2008 oh nine ten but

you know real estate has been immune

against this a little bit over time but

I'm afraid that is time that I share

this with people so you too you can

capitalize on it and and use it okay so

if you're here please announce yourself

wherever you know maybe in the chat

group on you to or meetup just say who

you are and where you're logging in from

but yes realize the host Ellen is dead

at least the way you knew it

okay so I'm going to be sharing a little

bit of a different concept with you

today and if it makes sense

I just wanna be not into yourself and

but but the good news is that I have a

solution for what's going on if you're

here chances are you're spending a ton

of money already on marketing

I'm trying to get your first deal second

deal the next deal but you're probably

realizing that those direct mailing are

not working as good as they used to

I'm gonna share with you why they're not

working okay

I'm gonna give you a few scenarios and

if it makes sense it makes sense you

know if it doesn't you know or you can

also share that with me in the chat

group but I think it's gonna make sense

to you um but before we get into that I

think you should know who I am my name

is Paula some people call me talks

my last name is that be told on and I've

been in New Jersey now it's 2000 on what

okay it's gonna be 19 years I've been in

New Jersey in May June I was born in

Texas was raised in Nigeria Africa I am

a bona fide Nigerians and some people

want me to because of legal reasons

because my passport is blue they want me

to say major in American but however way

you see me it's perfectly fine with me

okay but I can identify with both

because now it's coming up - most of my

life has been spent here in the United

States and and a lot of that most of my

life is spent in New Jersey now okay so

this is what I know okay but my

developing years were in Nigeria and was

a fantastic experience I have great

parents I was raised by fantastic

parents that really valued education so

much that doesn't matter what you're

gonna do with your life just go to

school right so um when I came back I

went through Middlesex County College I

for three semesters that was pretty much

a waste and then I went through NJIT for

the next six years of my life

and um it it was what some fun but you

I was working at FedEx most of all that

time that I was in college I was working

between 1999 and 2006 I was working at

FedEx in 2004 I got exposed into this

world of real estate and and I took

another like a bull right now when I

went in I met a few mentors Anthony

quite an early some of you may know him

Bob barn back you know introduced me

together met up I went I went hard okay

some of you may even know who Richard

Douglas is right so some of this guy I

learned one thing go to Glen Gallucci

you know I learned some rehab did a

couple of rehabs from him right and then

of course she does not eat a pound and

then everything crashed boom right right

and that happened and totally wiped out

my business the reason I consider myself

lucky was that I did not have a luxury

lifestyle I didn't have a luxury

lifestyle I was making good money a lot

of money averaging 30 40 grand per month

from the deals I was doing I did a few

of them in partnership with my friend

Anthony and some other people you know

as a matter of fact there's no deal I've

ever done that I think partnering with

somebody to be honest with you so polish

is a beautiful thing that we learned in

the real estate and is still very it's

actually more important right now to

understand the power of partnership now

more than ever before if you want to be

a one-man business you are gonna

struggle for a long time because then

you don't really understand leverage

okay so but anyway let me talk to you

right sure

I'm in 2008 everything disappeared I was

able to leave on my savings for probably

the fall of 2008 2009 living on my

savings I try to get into the car

business

exporting car business all of that was a

total disaster then I found myself or

early 2009 picked up a new skill which

is digital marketing internet marketing

all that stuff and I because my

background from NJIT was computer

engineer and maybe because maybe not I'm

not sure but

I was able to leverage everything I know

up to that point and I was able to

create another series of massive success

on the internet okay so it gives you

wondering do people really make money on

the internet well that's what I've been

living on since 2000 and ending of 2009

okay so I was lucky enough to not go all

the way down to zero before I was able

to pick that up again and at that time

my brother joined me as well and we have

to create some massive success bill to

build a big brand online and to be

honest with you a lot of ups and downs

and then as well too because there's a

limit curve that's involved with that

okay but the good thing is that I came

into that arena knowing having a mindset

and understanding business you know

having a background that I have in real

estate and in 2014 I was like real

estate they stood there people still

wholesaling people are still short

selling and all those things so I

decided to test out a few things I

picked up a few deals here and there

very quickly and and then also my father

said to partner with me he got a online

sense we were able to been doing some

few things since then but here's what I

noticed you know when I when I joined

sorry when I started back in 2004 and

five you know all we had to do was write

a simple letter you get a list of people

closures and you write a simple letter

and you send out letter to Holmes and

before you know it you know at the time

I was making $300 this was back in a

whole fight right making $300 per week

from FedEx from working at FedEx now I

didn't have my two sons now eight and

six I mean I wasn't married you know but

um I would take a hundred dollars from

that three hundred dollars and I would

spend it on mailing you know and I will

do that just consistently like that and

I've picked up quite a few deals I

closed my first deal in 2005 December

okay so that's like a whole year because

the first class I attended was back in

2004 so that's the whole year at the

time I already had enough

deels that I was working on together

with my partner at the time that was in

the pipeline we all together closed in I

made about $100,000 from all of them

right but my first check was $10,000 in

2005 and I took that check I broke into

two to five grand

I bought a Chrysler Concorde I needed a

car so I bought a cry at that time and

was bleeds from that point who doesn't

have five all the way up to mid 2008 so

early 2008 I started to hear this you

know including people like Bob on our

back they say you know some of the no

duck loan some of the loans that were

easy to close or I was easy to find

buyers people were bringing buyers front

and then to the table those things were

disappearing and dissipated in my eyes

before that to be honest I gotta be

honest with you I felt invisible you

know I mean you know I thought it was

gonna last forever

but sadly he didn't and lo and behold

you know everything kind of dried off I

had about 30 short sale deals on my

table all approved for no buyers no

buyers zero bias literally have another

deal I was doing in South Jersey

you know this occurred the only thing I

could really conclude by the mid by mid

2009 was to just shut down everything so

I can reset and figure out something and

that's how I found myself here so so

it's been lovely now when I test on I

came back into the business and tested

some mailings or what has really

happened

all in all overall to be honest with you

is just waste of money on direct mailer

okay dark million if you're not paying

attention is overpriced right now it's

just overpriced is the worst type of

marketing you can do right now to code

market to people that don't know you

already so people that don't trust you

already you know and that's one of the

things I'm gonna be talking about here

okay because it's not

at time amazing noises so much in the

marketplace and by the way if you're a

real estate investor a real estate

professional and a agent you'll none of

those things buddy will you're a

marketer okay so let's just get that out

of the window right now let's just see

that right now and get it over with you

are a marketer okay and understanding

treating attention is a big deal for you

okay because I think about it

ah the first one of the one of the

trainees that I went through back in

early 2005 was 3 grand I was uh was

money that I borrowed from my friend at

the time they were supposed to be my

partner he never paid attention and I

paid her 3 grand well it was first of

all of free seminar you know how that

goes right on free seminar and then they

up sold us on $200 for like a day after

the one day then they up so does on the

$3,000 and after the $3,000 the child of

Stella's on something bigger but of hold

on woody

I was out of funds I mean I was a

student I was finishing my master's

degree so I mean I you know there's no

way

There Really Is A Difference In This Year's Midterms - Duration: 5:53.

All right, so we spent a lot of time in this episode talking about all of the horrible

things that Republicans have done recently.

We talked about a very good thing that Elizabeth Warren is doing right now.

We talked about Bill Nelson from the state of Florida running for reelection, Democrat

for Senate, not such a good guy helping destroy the environment here in Florida.

I bring all that back up to make this point.

Yes, there is a difference between Democrats and Republicans.

I know a lot of the talking points in 2016 where that, there's not a whole hill of beans

difference between Democrats and Republicans.

So why vote, vote third party, blah, blah, blah.

And essentially, you know, that's one of the main reasons, one of the big reasons I can't

say main, but a big reason Trump was able to win.

Most people didn't think he would, but at the time those assessments were 100% accurate.

There wasn't, on the surface from what we could see, a ton of difference overall between

the Democratic Party and the Republican Party.

Not the candidates, but the parties.

I think today, in the last few months, we've seen a bit of a sea change.

A lot of it has to do with some of the progressives, the democratic socialists that have seen victories

and is across this country.

I think there is a difference now.

There's not enough of a difference yet, but a difference is happening.

A differences coming, a difference is currently being made.

And do you know why ? It's because these people didn't abandon the party.

I know after the 2016 a primaries, there was this Dem exit, you know, walk away, leave

the Democratic Party.

They screwed over Bernie, and they did.

There's no denying that, it happened.

They did.

It sucks, it was crappy, they did it, but those of us like me, I stuck with it.

I'm still a registered Democrat.

As of right now, that's not going to change.

I'm heading into these midterms as a registered Democrat.

My primary's here in the state of Florida coming up in a few days.

I'm going to be voting in those as a Democrat.

But I do believe we're starting to see a shift in the party, and it's because enough of us

stayed to help force it to the left like we should.

Alexandria Casio Cortez, that is the story, right?

There's a democratic socialist.

Came from working in the restaurant industry, to a candidate who unseeded this massive democratic

establishment opponent.

A guy that had been in Congress for more than 10 years, defeated him.

That's massive.

And then the other victories in the Midwest with candidates just like her.

That is what is possible if we stay with the party.

It's easy to criticize the Democratic Party.

They absolutely deserve it.

They're, really not that great at the heart right now.

But leaving them, and just saying, "You need to change or I'm not coming back."

How are they going to change if the people who want it to change leave?

If you want to change it, you gotta work for it from the inside.

And some of the people who have left are still trying to change it from the outside, and

they could come back.

There's a lot of them in progressive media, who've walked away from the Democratic Party.

They still criticize it, but they still want it to get better.

They want it to be the party that we once thought it was.

They want it to be the party of FDR again.

So I am not faulting those people at all.

But there are a lot of voters out there who still carry on with the, "Bernie or bust."

Still carry on with the, "I'm with her."

And at this point we got to get past 2016, whether you're happy or sad with the results.

We understand the Democratic Party, the DNC was rigged.

They sucked.

But we can't hold that grudge forever.

We can always remember how crappy they were, and we can actively work to not let them get

to that point again.

To make sure that we present it, to make sure that we have a party that's proud to add a

part of their platform that says, "We're against fracking."

Which isn't the Democratic Party right now, but it could be.

It could be if we push it.

It could be if we remake it, it could be if we stay with it and change it from the in

side.

Now I say all that and I have to say this as well.

That does not mean that as we get to the midterms, the Democrats just deserve your vote because

they're not Trump.

Nobody is owed a vote, in terms of a candidate or a party.

You're owed a vote as a citizen of the United States, and you can spend that vote however

you want.

If you want to vote third party, I'm not going to discourage you and I'm not gonna talk down

to you for doing it.

Because if you vote third party, that means the Democrats didn't earn it, and the Democrats

have to understand that.

Nobody is basically deserving of a vote.

If you want it, you need to go out there and earn it.

That is the message for the 2018 midterms, and that is the message I leave you with today.

The History of Labor Day.

Why is Labor Day celebrated in the United States? It's important to remember that it wasn't always about cooking out.

According to USA Today, the origins of the holiday derive from the poor working conditions in the 1800s.

Children worked dangerous jobs, work days were incredibly long, and workers often faced hazards on the job, the newspaper reported.

Congress made the first Monday every September a national Labor Day in 1894 after a workers' strike and riots broke out over the bleak working conditions for many Americans, USA Today reported.

What is The Chance Machine - Duration: 4:05.

[Música]

One thing that I always like to show, what I think is fundamental for you

and I want to ask you to read, will only take a few minutes:

Read the story about what "The Do and Do Over Machine"

is that gave the title for this material. I use a little fantasy, to present there is a book of stories

that accompanies this material.

that tells what is "The Do and Do Over Machine"

normally the therapist reads together with the adolescent

Makes the way he finds the most viable

If the teenager says he does not want to use, that he did not like the story, it is possible to use the material without the story.

What is "The Do and Do Over Machine"? "I tell the story of the child of the "Y century" who came to ask his parents to buy The Do and Do Over Machine

At that moment, a whole play that I do, saying "no, that does not exist"

I explain what is "The Do and Do Over Machine" in the following way:

If you did not like something that happened in your life, you have no problem, you program the machine,

go back in time and redo your attitudes, simple like that, wonderful, is not it?

In that case, there is a discussion between the family "That does not exist, it is impossible, etc."

They end up acquiring the Do and Do Over Machine

And there the boy repeats the seventh series, and he begins to reflect

At that time he says, "I should have studied more",

and he decides to listen to the advice passed for him,

reprograms the machine, studies more and manages to do well in school, together with the friends of the class.

There are also examples of adolescence, in which people start drinking,

and there are reflections on this.

When he sees that he arrived at that stage, he goes back.

At that moment I finish philosophizing, saying the following:

"I have bad news, this machine does not exist"

"but I have good news to give: "we are born with The Do and Do Over Machine,"

"which is the ability to think and reflect on life."

And this is the proposal of the whole game, of each card of the game.

"Enjoy the professional that accompanies you, take advantage of each letter,

because we are going to exercise your machine, which is this possibility

to think about the direction we are taking in life, what we are doing, etc.

Then through this I tell the teenager about what the material is about,

and also explain what psychotherapy is, which is very difficult

to clarify for that age group, because it is very abstract

So this needs to be passed to something more concrete, this is the objective.

I developed it in a way that did not remain infantilized,

that they identify easily.

This is what I have been observing in the clinic and seeing feedback from the colleagues who have been using it.

Is Chick-fil-A Open on Labor Day 2018? Hours & Deals | Heavy.com

Some might suspect that Chick-fil-A would be closed on Labor Day 2018 because Labor Day is an official national holiday.

However, the chicken sandwich restaurant is actually open on Labor Day.

Many of the stores are operating with more limited hours than normal, however.

There's also a chicken nuggets deal going on.

Chick-fil-A restaurants are generally open on Labor Day.

You should check your local Chick-fil-A store for specific hours though because they can vary by location.

Indeed, you can even get a special deal on Labor Day and the days after it: Free chicken nuggets.

The details for what you need to do to get them are listed later in this article.

On Labor Day 2017, Chick-fil-A announced on its website, "It's officially the end of summer – and you deserve a milkshake.

Is Chick-fil-A open on Labor Day? Yes, we are.

Every Chick-fil-A location is open from 10:30 a.m.

until 6:00 p.m., but check with your local Chick-fil-A, as some restaurants may open earlier or later.

Come celebrate the end of summer and stop by a Chick-fil-A for one last hot-weather treat.

Frosted Lemonade, anyone?" In 2018, Chick-fil-A did not make a similar detailed announcement.

However, you can use the restaurant's online store search function to pull up detailed information about specific restaurants.

When you look up various restaurants, most of them say they are open on Labor Day 2018 from 10:30 a.m.

to 6 p.m. as well.

Those are limited hours from the normal hours.

By way of example, the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Brookfield, Wisconsin, lists the following as its hours:.

Monday (Labor Day 2018).

10:30 AM-06:00 PM. Tuesday – Saturday.

06:00 AM-10:00 PM.

Restaurants in other areas of the country are also showing the Labor Day 2018 hours as 10:30 a.m.

to 6 p.m. on the Chick-fil-A website.

Here's what you need to know:.

How to Get Free Chicken Nuggets on Labor Day.

You can get free chicken nuggets at Chick-fil-A on Labor Day, although the offer is not expressly a Labor Day deal.

Chick-fil-A announced the freebie in a press release.

"Chick-fil-A® is giving away free eight-count Chick-fil-A Nuggets to guests who create or sign into their Chick-fil-A One™ account with the Chick-fil-A Mobile App.

The giveaway is available from Aug.

30 to Sept.

29 at the company's more than 2,300 restaurants nationwide.

Customers can choose between pressure-cooked or grilled chicken nuggets," the release says.

After signing in, you will find the free nuggets in the app's "My Rewards" section.

"We want to thank the millions of customers who have joined Chick-fil-A One on our mobile app, and this is just a small way to show our appreciation for dining with us," said Kaitlyn White, senior lead of the Chick-fil-A One Membership program, in the release.

The restaurant chain adds: "The Chick-fil-A App launched in 2016 and rose to the number one spot in the iTunes App Store only a few hours after the app was announced.

The Chick-fil-A App is available via the Apple App Store or Google Play.".

Chick-fil-A is giving the freebie "to everyone who creates a Chick-fil-A One account or signs into the chicken chain's updated smartphone app," according to USA Today.

Chick-fil-A is trying to promote the app because the company recently redesigned it.

Customers can use the app to "earn points with every purchase for a chance at free food," WILX.com reports.

Chick-fil-A explains on its website, "Members earn points with every purchase, earning more points per dollar spent as they reach new membership tiers.

Points can be used to redeem available rewards or members can choose to save their points for redemption later.

A list of available rewards and points needed for redemption are available in-app or through a member's online profile.".

Is Aldi Open or Closed on Labor Day 2018? | Heavy.com

Labor Day 2018 falls on Monday, September 3, 2018.

It's a national holiday and the origins derive from poor working conditions in the 1800s.

However, many people still need to pick up a thing or two at the store and are wondering if the local Aldi's store will be open or closed on Labor Day.

The answer, per Aldi's website, is that Aldi's stores are open on Labor Day.

However, they do have reduced hours on the national holiday, and the hours vary by location.

Aldi notes on its Twitter page that many of its stores' limited hours are from 9 a.m.

through 4 p.m. on Labor Day 2018.

That's not true of every store, though.

The limited hours are in "observance of Labor Day," according to Aldi.

Here's what you need to know:.

Aldi Stores Do Not Close Completely on Labor Day.

Aldi has a statement that mentions Labor Day hours on its website.

It turns out that Aldi has limited hours but doesn't close completely on Labor Day.

It reads, "All ALDI stores are closed on New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

All ALDI stores will be open limited hours on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

The holiday hours for your local store can be found by using our store locator.".

You can access the Aldi store locator page here.

Unlike some grocery store chains, Aldi specifically details Labor Day hours for each store location on its locator page.

For example, the Aldi store in Freeport, Illinois page reads, "Our Labor Day hours are 9:00 am – 6:00 pm." However, the page for the Aldi store in Platteville, Wisconsin reads, "Our Labor Day hours are 9 AM to 4 PM." Thus, it's important to check for your individual store as some might be open a few hours longer than other locations.

Aldi stores are generally open much later, sometimes until 8 p.m.

or 9 p.m. on non-holidays.
