Do you think as it relates to how to be happy? Can I be happier?

In what ways can I be happy and we're not just talking about listening to

music. No. Oh gosh! No. Let me go a little bit crazy. Yeah. We're not the best

singers in the world but not does it matter?But we can carry a tune. Yeah, yeah we know to

carry a tune in a bucket. Yes but one thing we just want to jump right to it.

It's karaoke. What? Karaoke. Okay, I thought it was karaoke.

have never actually done karaoke. Have you gone to a karaoke bar before? I have

been to karaoke bars. There almost always on a cruise or at a resort for a

been to one but I didn't sing. The one I went to though was in Newport Beach

differentiator. Now I will say this. If you want to be happy, karaoke can

definitely make you happy as merely an observer and there so happiness to that.

No question about their fun. Yes it's fun to sit and watch people especially if

they tank or whatever. But the real magic in

this is finally getting the courage to actually do it. Good gosh. Because if you

do it, if you actually get up there and you karaoke, you'll see what I mean. Show

me what you're talking about. It is spectacular. So you don't have to go to a karaoke bar to

do this. You can. No. Most people will have... A lot of people have karaoke right

in their own home. Now we used to have a really cool karaoke setup with just a

microphone. Everything was integrated and you just plug the microphone into the TV

and it had a chip in there. Oh yeah. And all the songs, it was awesome and I miss it

because all of our kids would do it. Now we're going to show you here online, you can

just go online and do karaoke all you want and it's pretty much free. There's

so many free karaoke sites and do you know where you go? Where do I go? To show

the world who have it. Yeah, so get with the times.

But it's not like it's really expensive anymore because it's right there and

it's absolutely free. You want to raise your spirits? You want to be happier? An

instant upper? Do a little "karoke". Karaoke. Little karaoke. Let's fire up the

karaoke machine. Watch how you get happier. Yeah. I know I'm happier. I am. I

get a good laugh because I do it with Jeff and it makes me laugh and it's

funny but you do it with whoever you want to do it. Karaoke. Yes. I had so much

Doggie Diapers for my Monkey - Duration: 10:52.

(Cool Bass Music Intro)

Hi everyone we are at Grammy's house.

And I wanted to show you guys what we are doing for Lillian.

See that little diaper cover that she is wearing there?

That is actually a doggie diaper.

I got these colors at the Dollar Tree And they cost $1 each Now the little latches on

them you just pinch them like this and they open like that.

And what I am doing is that I bought all these little doggie diapers.

Aren't they cute?

Now for Lillian she weighs a little over 7 lb so I got the extra small to fit Lillian

and if you will look they already have a little hole in the back for her tail and you can

see right there her tail just fits right through it.

The reason why I like these doggie diapers so much is because they have the velcro on

the back.

And then they just fold open.

You can see the hole there and then you just put her tail through and fold it up on her

back just like that and then you stick the velcro.

My sewing machine is on the blink so I am sewing this by hand.

The collars are only a dollar, I get them at the dollar tree and I get them for the

latch.

They have this latch here.

The good thing is I had this little hook this little silver hook that you can hook a leash

to and I just take the scissors and cut I don't

know I guess an inch or an inch and a half away from that little link there and then

on the other side I have the male attachment there and cut also about an inch or an inch

and a half away.

Then after I cut the collar I sew one end of it to the little flap with the velcro on

it like that and then I take the other side like that and I sew it on this side and I

try to make sure I sew it on the velcro because it gives it extra stability I have not finished

with this cover And so what I have to do now is just sew this to this side over here and

then I make sure that I have the little hook here for the leash.

You can see the little ring there that I have the leash latched onto right there.

And I just got another order in today these are really cute I love these I just think

they're so cute and what I do is just go buy different kind of colors To try to match the

diaper covers.

Here is a red collar that I will use on her Spider-Man diaper covers.

And then I just kind of mix and match them to see what looks the best.

And I also found this black diaper cover that I think looks really pretty on her so I will

just do this right here Okay, so we're going to go ahead and cut this one here to show

you what I do it has got that little double collar right there and I am going to use both

because they go through this right here so we are going to cut it about right there and

that gives me a little extra room okay.

I have a little helper right here.

(laughter) okay and he is going to cut that for me like that.

and then what I am going to do is i will sew this onto the little flap and make sure I

go through the velcro for the extra holding power now we are going to do the same here

we are going to past that ring right there and cut it right there

there we go so now if you can just stick these right there together so we won't lose them.

And then I will just sew this on here. and if there is any sticking over I will just

snip it off Like I said this is the one I have been working on and Im just going to

sew that on there and sew that on there and then we just unlatch that like that to put

it on her Then when we get it on her we just put the little flaps back over and then latch

the collar and that way if we need to hook a leash to her we have a little hook right

there.

This one came with poop bags (laughter) cute, yeah I like them.

So like I said they come in extra small, small, medium, large and I think they even come in

extra large.

And it has breathable material lined in here and its got an extra little pad in there these

are washable so if the have an accident you can just wash them.

I just throw them in the washing machine and there we go.

So those are something new that I found and wanted to try with Lillian and it works perfectly.

The thing about monkeys is that their shoulders are very narrow you can see her shoulders.

So what I have to do is take these in a little bit in the shoulders to fit Lillian.

Every now and then we want to...if we take her to church or go somewhere and we want

her to look really cute I will dress her up so I thought that was a really cute little

outfit.

And I also bought Lillian two new toothbrushes.

So we will have to do a little video of her brushing her teeth for you guys it's really

cute.

Okay, so Quinton is going to demonstrate how we take the diaper covers off and how we put

them on.

It is that simple.

Now here is the little yellow one I want to see what that little yellow one will look

like.

so this is how we put them on her tail just goes right through there and then you just

slide it up like so and you reach under and grab the little velcro........flaps.

Turn her around and lets get a look at that one.

That's a new one isn't that cute?

That's adorable.

so now all I have to do is sew on the collar on the back of that and then we can hook the

leash right to it if we need to.

We normally don't put leashes on her but every now and then we will.

One reason I will put a leash on her is if I am sitting in a chair and I am trying to

take a nap too sometimes when I fall asleep she will slip away from me and get into stuff.

So I just hook the little leash on her and that way if she starts moving around I will

wake up.

So today I will be sharing with you what I used to eat in a day as an even when I was losing weight

So for breakfast

I have some oatmeal with chia seeds a little bit of cinnamon and

some blueberries as well as a

teaspoon of peanut butter

I

mixed it all with some almond milk and then serve it with some coconut flakes on top and a

Handful cashews on the side as well as a tangerine and green tea as I nearly have every morning. I

Also wanted to mention that this was just half of my breakfast

I usually double this portion because as you can see I was using a really small cup to display it and

So I ended up having a second

For lunch, I just had a big bowl of eel

Carrots half an avocado and some baked potatoes

One sweet potato and one regular potato, I guess

Also added some blueberries and then topped off the potatoes with some coconut oil

I also added around 1 to 2 teaspoons of chia seeds on top simply because I

Really really love chia seeds as you can probably tell

Now for dinner I had a bowl of couscous with vegetables

I made the Crispus by adding some tomato sauce on top and also some spices like

pepper and turmeric and a little bit of salt and also

1/2 spoon of olive oil and then I just poured the

boiling water over everything and let it sit for about

5 to 10 minutes as the instruction mentioned on the package I had

As far as vegetables go

I used some frozen edamame some frozen yellow beans, I guess and some frozen eggplant

The a plan was already grilled and seasoned using a little bit of oil and some salt

Basically cooked all of them just by putting them in the microwave for a few minutes and that was it. I just

served them with the cush cush and

Added in a little bit of salt and olive oil on top of the veggies

The Dream Gene? - Have we Discovered the Genes for Dreams? - BREAKING NEWS - Duration: 4:06.

Hello everyone, I'm Daniel Love, The Lucid Guide.

Today we have some remarkable breaking news in regards to dream research.

In a study led by Hiroki Ueda, researchers at the RIKEN Center for Biosystems Dynamics

Research and the University of Tokyo have identified a pair of essential genes known

as Chrm 1 and Chrm 3.

These newly identified genes have been discovered to regulate the stage of sleep known as rapid

eye movement or REM, the stage that is associated with dreaming.

It has been known for some time that the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and its receptors were important

for the regulation of REM sleep, however, it has been unclear which receptors were directly

involved.

In the brain, there are 16 types of cellular receptors that acetylcholine can bind to,

but it was unknown which were essential to REM sleep and which were redundant.

Using the gene editing technology CRISPR, Japanese researchers modified and screened

mouse genes, one by one, individually knocking out the genes for these acetylcholine receptors

- preventing them from being expressed.

The study soon showed that a certain family of acetylcholine receptors, the nicotinic

type, seemed to have little to do with sleep, and the mice deprived of these appeared to

sleep much like the mice in which they remained.

However, another family, the muscarinic acetylcholine receptors, appeared much more interesting

with the loss of the two receptors known as Chrm1 and Chrm3, shortening sleep by close

to three hours a day.

The loss of either of these receptors fragmented and reduced REM sleep and also impacted and

shortened non-REM sleep.

Those mice without either receptor essentially didn't experience any REM sleep whatsoever.

Surprisingly, the REM-Free mice survived without dreaming sleep, which is contrary to the common

belief that it is necessary for survival.

However, this may be an unintentional side effect of the animals living in the relatively

safe and "provided-for" artificial environment of a lab.

The discovery of these genes is important, as it marks a new and deeper understanding

of the mechanisms of dreaming and sleep.

Lucid dreamers may have already noticed that the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and its

receptors are the very same system targeted by the active ingredients in lucid dreaming

pills, namely galantamine and huperzine-a.

In other words, this discovery could signal the start of a whole new era and scientific

understanding of the dreaming mind.

We are a significant step closer to grasping the mechanisms behind lucid dreaming.

In the words of Ueda, the study leader "This investigation may help molecularly define

REM sleep and may reveal the physiological roles of REM sleep in its closely related

higher cognitive functions, such as learning and memory"

It's a fascinating and potentially groundbreaking discovery.

Ellis III to call the young singer onstage to honor her as "an icon herself." But it's a remark that came before that — and what some have described as too-familiar touching from a much older man — that has Ellis apologizing to the singer, an army of her outraged fans and the Hispanic community

"I've got to apologize, because I have to brush up," he said shortly after calling Grande back to the podium

"My 28-year-old daughter tells me, 'Dad, you are old at 60.' When I saw Ariana Grande on the program, I thought that was a new something at Taco Bell

Girl, let me give you all your respect." As he joked about the young singer, he wrapped his hand around her, high above her waist in an act many are calling groping

In an interview with the Associated Press on Friday, Ellis, the pastor of the 6,000-member Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, apologized

"I personally and sincerely apologize to Ariana and to her fans and to the whole Hispanic community," Ellis said

"When you're doing a program for nine hours you try to keep it lively, you try to insert some jokes here and there

" He told the AP that any inappropriate touch was incidental, and that he had hugged all the performers, male and female

Hugging, he said, is a common way of showing love at his church. "It would never be my intention to touch any woman's breast

… I don't know I guess I put my arm around her," Ellis said, adding: "Maybe I crossed the border, maybe I was too friendly or familiar but again, I apologize

" But for many the apology was not enough. They held up the touching as a public display of what routinely happens to female artists in an era of #MeToo

"THIS IS SO DISGUSTING AND DISRESPECTFUL," one person said on Twitter. And many said the affront was not the only one Grande endured during her brief time onstage

Fox News panelists, for example, blasted former president Bill Clinton for apparently staring at Grande's backside during her performance as the singer performed directly in front of him

Trying Paddle Boards for the 1st time - Duration: 4:39.

Now, just a few years ago when I first saw paddle boards, I saw a lot of people

doing paddle boards that Dana Point and I saw that on YouTube videos and whatnot.

I had a couple thoughts. First thought was that it was going to be a passing fad?

And I also thought it would be a big strain on the back. But I have to say, of

all the things that we've done up here on the reservoir, the paddle boards are

my favorite. They're actually really fun, it's great exercise. It doesn't strain

the back at all. It, you know, if I go a long ways, it exercises the back and the

arms. But it's not straining like like water skiing is. Alright! Lily's attempting.

Well, scoot back a little ways on the pad apart. Nice job, Joseph! Look at you bud.

This is our first time ever on a paddleboard. I guess Lily's done it once

at a girls, young woman's activity. To ride a paddleboard but it's got my GoPro

selfie stick on it. Anyway, this is now my official second time I

just went for my first time this morning.

Everywhere I look, you look the opposite.

So, I'm coming up. Maybe I'll go turn around so you can see I'm coming into a little

cove. And this cove, I haven't been here for 13 years. And the last time was on a

wave runner. And the cove shrink as the reservoir drops as the farmers use the

water from it. These coves kind of shrink. But we're here at

the end of July. And the water levels so high.

Let's see. I'll turn around you can check out the cove.

With me in it, of course.

Guess I could take this thing off my helmet. And now, we're goin gto look small back

there. But there are some coves.

I'm doing the gradual sabotage.

I'm pretty sure that's... Yeah. So, this is

totally renovated different-looking Cabin. The dock is different. That boat

ramp, the cement ramp going up, that's the same and where the boathouse is. That's

the same and there's a hot tub room up above it. But then these two new garage

doors, totally brand new. That red door, I don't remember being red. But that door

was there. But then there was red those 2 garage doors were. That was empty

underneath. That was below a deck and there was a deck that went up and those

3 windows right there. That was not indoors, that was the outdoor deck. So, now

there's a deck on the side and... Anyway, this is the place.

So, hopefully you enjoyed this episode and I also hoped that I painted paddle boarding in

the right light. And having never done it before,

we had such a blast. This was one of my favorite things. And I do highly

recommend that you give paddle boarding a try. It's a whole lot of fun. We'll
