Their 'progressive' policies, from their tax code, their embrace of illegal immigrants,

what is right for the people.
The hubris of the Democrats in this state is appalling.
In our particular story, California's uber-liberal Attorney General is not only promoting the
welcoming of illegal aliens into the state, but he has also informed his employees that
if they are asked to assist President Trump's federal immigration staff in locating and
arresting these illegals, THEY will face punishment.
In short, he is threatening his staff with penalties if they follow the rule of law.
And one of the few Republican lawmakers in this state has seen enough.
California Assemblyman Travis Allen is now calling for the Department of Justice to arrest
Attorney General Xavier Becerra for forcing his staff to break the law.

Travis Allen is right.
For an elected official to throw away all federal laws that pertain to his state and
force his employees to break them is a criminal offense, and he needs to be indicted quickly.
Let's hope President Trump and his Department of Justice watch this Fox News interview.

A look at a Remote MAC-PHY option for DAA - Duration: 1:59.

RICK: Hi, I'm Rick Yuzzi, Vice President of Marketing at ZCorum.
RICK: I'm here with Scott Helms, our Chief Technology Officer, and Scott, I wanted to
ask you a little bit about some of the equipment that we have here in the lab; this Remote
PHY equipment.
RICK: So tell us a little bit about what we've got right here.
SCOTT: This is actually a Remote PHY + MAC box, and it actually also has all of the functionality
of a normal node as well. In fact, the clam shell design is divided in half.
SCOTT: This side is the node side and this side is actually the Remote PHY + MAC piece.
SCOTT: Because this is hooked up in our lab, we've got it right now connected with Ethernet,
but this wouldn't be what you would do in the field.
SCOTT: Generally, what would happen is you would using this port, and you can see this
is either Gigabit Ethernet or PON connection.
SCOTT: And, this unit is good for about a 150 cable modems, so it's a relatively small
size in terms of the number of units to support it, and this would very commonly be deployed,
or it doesn't have to be, in a Node + 0 kind of configuration, which means just this unit,
no amplifiers, after it before you get to the taps.
SCOTT: That changes some of the dynamics from the plant and gets rid of some of the distortions
that we normally see in our cable plant anyway.
SCOTT: You can see here is where the connection for the rest of the video QAMS will be coming
out as well as the analog video if you have that.
SCOTT: So, again as this is a Remote PHY + MAC box.
SCOTT: You'll see several more manufacturers come out with similar product lines as well
as manufacturers that are only doing Remote PHY.
SCOTT: Which standard we're going to end up with long-term is, and perhaps both of them,
up in the air still.
