JUST IN: Nobel Peace Prize For President Trump Doing THIS? Check What's Happening(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 8:31.JUST IN: Nobel Peace Prize For President Trump Doing THIS? Check What's Happening
I'm David Asman in for Lou Dobbs well Republican congressman Luke Messer
launching an effort to nominate president Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize
for his role in the North and South Korean peace talks Messer saying in a
statement quote we are seeing unprecedented progress toward peace and
it's a direct result of president Trump's strong leadership now you'll
recall President Obama received a Peace Prize in 2009 that was just eight months
into his first term something that even Obama himself joked about joining me now
is Gina 'loudened she is a member of the Trump media advisory board and a former
Trump campaign surrogate and radio talk show host Dom Jordana well Gina I
wouldn't hold my breath for this would you ha no I wouldn't but it should we
shouldn't have to know that this president probably won't get it simply
because of politics and political differences when you know Obama himself
like you said practically admitted that all here to do is get out of bed after
eight months of pregnant a pregnancy presidency oh my goodness and get the
Nobel Peace Prize but certainly certainly Donald Trump deserves it for
the strides he's made in this world and I mean there have been precedence of
presidents getting Nobel Peace Prizes presidents that that didn't necessarily
correspond with the the notions or the ideals that the Nobel Peace Prize
Committee was set up for well if all goes well with the summit and all that
and if we see some of the signs David that we're seeing play out today if
North Korea shockingly would denuclearize I think that's worthy of
several Nobel Peace Prizes I am still stunned at the methodology that Trump is
using walking this line between keeping us out of intervention ISM and yet at
the same time making progress with the North Koreans for example it's an
amazing line being walked so far it is extraordinary and Gina what is it
additionally extraordinary is how off-putting it is to our enemies that is
you think of somebody like Kim who rather than getting diplomatic talk once
once we receive all the garbage that he throws out at us
against tough talk my nuclear button is a lot bigger than yours and then you get
to turn around and say hey look I'm willing to talk to you in person
I mean these he must be scared it if he had us figure it out and now he doesn't
it's the quintessential trumpian art of the deal and the reason a lot of people
voted for this president in the first place he also doesn't take the
stereotypical ideas that that have sort of always been the way that things were
handled you know either either we completely do nothing like Obama with
North Korea or you know the John McCain or the war Hawk you know we go in and we
do something dramatic he's kind of taken this middle road and he's done it a few
times and kind of rewritten the playbook entirely and this is what a master
negotiator does this is what he's known for and he's doing a good job of it and
while as a result of that he may be worthy of getting a Peace Prize you know
I think back from my perspective I think back to Yasser Arafat when Yasir Arafat
the man responsible for modern-day terrorism received the Nobel Peace Prize
and then went on of course after he received it to to encourage and and
perhaps had literally had blood on his hands from other terrorists acts I
realized that from then on I mean any talk of the Peace Prize was nonsense by
the way the guy in the right there there's a geyser Arafat on the left
that's Ladak toen - right he was a North Vietnamese politician who received one
jointly with Henry Kissinger the thing after these two guys got it was a joke
don't you agree well it is and David you know what's sad to me I liken this to
the same thing with the UN when I was growing up the UN we went to New York
with the UN we had these hopes for it and we saw it in an innocent kind of way
versus today it's worth the worse than worthless it's the same thing with the
Nobel Peace Prize this used to really mean something and they've so tarnished
it the politics of it this is a big time honor we need to restore honors that
actually mean something because I think they're helpful they do get politicians
and others to want to work toward that instead it's just another political sort
of thing that goes on with these well Gina what what matters to Donald Trump
is not the accolades he gets but the results that he gets
and I think that's one of the reasons that Americans voted for him and I
believe even with all the rhetoric that you hear and all the polls that you read
that say there's gonna be a blue wave in November that the American people they
when they see the results whether it's on the economic front or on the
diplomatic front they're gonna buy into the results it's all about results for
President Trump that's all he's known his entire life and career are what kind
of results can I get out of the last negotiation so that I can move on to the
next negotiation it's amazing especially David when you consider that he's
accomplished almost 70 percent of his campaign promises already in a year and
a half with really zero help from the media the establishment and certainly no
help from the contrary I would say there's been a negative into coming you
look at the Russian the Russia probe you add that of course to the to the regular
media harping on anything that they think is improper incorrect and what he
does whether he's tweeting or whatever but the Russia probe in particular it
received a setback today with the house Intel saying there was no collusion but
already the the liberal media is saying that this is no good because it's a
republican-controlled committee will this house Intel conclusion have any
effect at all on mr. Muller and his investigation no no and no none of that
matters tomorrow I think everybody that's reasonable
understands that and it does have a good effect for president Trump in that it
gives him a talking point to continue to bring this up and David the only thing
that I worry about what President Trump again this gets to what we're talking
about negotiating etc closing a deal I'm moving on in Washington particularly
with moer there's not resolution he has to accept that more and I know for a guy
like that direct action check the box we're going to move on to the things the
American people want done that's very difficult but that's what this is about
it's not about anything real so Gina how long do we have to wait I
mean what happens if a year from now the Moller investigation is still going on
right how many tens of millions of taxpayer dollars David are going to
satisfy the Democrats and the the witch hunters that they finally carried out a
full investigation I mean at what look maybe we should make them set their own
markers because right now I think they're only marker is to try to find or
make up something that the President did maybe even if it's just a sin of
omission it's time to end it and even Democrats are saying so now and and yeah
I just want to stick with Eugene and then I'll get Bob come in this is why
I'm against a second Special Counsel I know a lot of folks in Congress Jim
Jordan and others say we need one to investigate the investigators but
anything I think anything originating from inside the swamp inside the beltway
itself is gonna end up bad what do you think you make a great point David it's
very savvy and it's it's it's honest because we've seen how far all of this
corruption goes it is much deeper than I even thought and I was one of those full
on board to vote them all out get them all out vote in a maverick someone like
you know Trump who's a maverick to get them gone to clean to drain that swamp
but even I didn't realize how deep it is and we see more every single day so you
may be right about that I'm a second counsel quickly I don't think I think
there's a fear that that this will expand into something like Muller what
do you think yes I agree with you and one of the reasons is this it's not just
about power and Democrats and all that people like mower you're in the
spotlight David right no longer this goes on the more you're in the center
ring and that's what these people live for in addition to the agenda that's
right power is addictive Gina Loudon and Dom Giordano good to see you both thank
you very much thank you god bless you and God bless america

JOSE CONFIRMS TRIPLE INJURY BOOST FOR MANCHESTER UNITED AHEAD OF ARSENAL | News Now #mufc - Duration: 2:10.Manchester United will be looking to close in on second place with victory over Arsenal
at Old Trafford on Sunday.
We currently hold a three point lead over Liverpool who have played 35 games, whilst
we have a game in hand on the Merseyside club.
Ahead of the game Jose Mourinho has met with the media today at his pre-match press conference,
and has given the latest team news and an injury update.
The boss was able to confirm that we have a virtually fully fit squad to face the Gunners
this weekend with goalkeeper Sergio Romero the only absentee.
Romero is working his way back to full fitness having suffered knee ligament damage whilst
away on international duty with Argentine last month.
The good news is that this injury update from Jose means that Antonio Valencia is fit from
a calf injury suffered in the final 10 minutes of our FA Cup semi-final victory over Tottenham
Hotspur at Wembley last weekend.
The captain can be expected to maintain his place at right-back.
Eric Bailly missed last weekend's win due to illness, but presumably is also fit to
return to the starting lineup this Sunday.
The Ivorian could come in for Phil Jones to reunite with Chris Smalling in the middle
of our back four.
In a triple defensive boost this would also mean that Victor Lindelof has recovered from
his minor achilles injury that had him listed as a doubt earlier in the week.
Though the Swede has only started 11 Premier League matches this season, he is often used
as Antonio Valencia's backup in case the boss decides not to play the Ecuadorian.
With Arsene Wenger leaving Arsenal at the end of the season our rivalry with the Gunners
boss, that has gone on for over two decades will come to a conclusion in Sunday's game
at Old Trafford.
Arsenal actually have the second leg of their Europa League semi-final at Atletico Madrid
to play on Thursday so can be expected to rest some key players.

Michael Owen states his prediction for Liverpool FC v Stoke City ● News Now transfer ● #LFC - Duration: 2:04.The Liverpool FC legend believes the Reds will ease to victory over Stoke City at Anfield
in Saturday afternoon.
The Reds will take on Paul Lambert's side in their first game since a 5-2 win over AS
Roma in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final at Anfield mid-week.
Mohamed Salah scored twice in the first half before the Egypt international teed up Roberto
Firmino and Sadio Mane to help Liverpool FC secure a commanding lead before two late goals.
The Liverpool FC summer signing won the PFA player of the year award last weekend after
he equalled Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez's record of 31 goals in a Premier League season.
However, Salah can ease past the Premier League legends with a goal against the Potters at
Anfield in Saturday's early kick-off.
Jurgen Klopp could be tempted to rest the African forward ahead of their return trip
to the Italian capital to take on AS Roma on Wednesday night with a place in the Champions
League final at Kiev.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is backing the Reds to ease to a win against Stoke at
Anfield on Saturday.
"Stoke need to take maximum points this weekend to have any realistic chance of maintaining
their Premier League status," Owen told BetVictor.
"With that in mind, it is unlikely they would have handpicked Liverpool for this must-win
game given they have not won at Anfield in their 54 previous top-flight visits!"
The Reds are on course to finish in the top four in the Premier League.

Employing Technology as a Vehicle for Formative Assessment in Grades 3-6 - Duration: 5:57.Hello my name is Tessala Learmont. I am currently a pre-service elementary
school teacher with one year of experience as a substitute teacher. My
iBook Employing Technology as a Vehicle for formative assessment in grades three
through six was recreated was created as a resource guide for elementary school
teachers describing ways that technology can help teachers plan, implement, and
refine classroom formative assessment strategies, It is also partial
fulfillment for my masters in education. Through my experience in the credential
program and as a substitute teacher, I have been exposed to a multitude of uses
for technology and instances of formative assessment in the classroom.
Formative assessment occurs when teachers give information back to
students in ways that enable the student to learn better or when students can
engage in a similar self reflective process. It includes effective tools for
helping to shape learning and can improve students abilities to take
ownership of their learning when they understand that the goal is to improve
learning not "ace a test". The purpose for this iBook is to be used as a resource
backed by research about the importance of formative assessment in the classroom,
along with apps and websites teachers can use in their classroom. I personally
feel passionate about teachers using data in their classrooms to drive
instruction forward. Data compiled through formative assessment can be used
to enhance engagement and instruction. Formative assessment in the classroom
does have its limitations. Some teachers are opposed to integrating new
procedures or methods into their classroom. Other teachers may be
uncomfortable with their technology in their classrooms. The value of formative
assessment is often lost on teachers who are so pressed for time and find
themselves "teaching to the test". Formative assessment is an essential
part of the teaching process. Formative assessment allows for teachers to make
adjustments to instruction before the completion of a lesson or unit in
accordance with what students are learning. If teachers rely solely on
summative assessment as a determination of what students have learned, the
opportunities for modifications to instruction to be more effective are
lost. Teachers do not always use formative assessment in ways that are
both meaningful and beneficial to them and their students.
My iBook is organized into three main sections. The first will include the
necessity of formative assessment and data collection in the classroom, as well
as the problem of the lack of formative assessment in the classroom
the second section will highlight the ways teachers can implement formative
assessment using technology. This will include suggested apps and
websites as well as sample lesson plans for practical application.
the third section will include ways for teachers to organize and analyze the
data collected through formative assessment and how they can make data
work for them and their students. Technology will allow for teachers to
integrate formative assessment in ways that increase engagement drive concise
data collection and meaningful adjustments to instruction.
This research was done in the form of a content analysis. It began by utilizing
the University of La Verne's library online library and EBSCOhost to collect
data from 18 journals and articles. Initial search terms were formative
assessment and technology, but I soon realized I needed to narrow my search. I
added limiting terms like elementary school, integration, and educational
technology, while also limiting results to the years 2004 through 2017. I
collaborated with teachers at my school about the technology they use in their
own classrooms as well as their feelings toward their technology their classroom
technology and training they have received.
I also collaborated with administrators at my school site about what they
think the attitude of the school is surrounding educational technology and
formative assessment.
Technology has the potential to play a powerful role in formative assessment
practices that support the kind of learning favored by next-generation
standards and bolstered by cognitive science research learning that focuses
on integrated conceptual knowledge and problem-solving skills. It is my hope
that this iBook will serve as a resource guide for elementary school teachers
focusing on ways that technology can support effective formative assessment
strategies and resources for planning implementing and adjusting classroom
instruction. Technology tools to assist teachers in creating and using formative
assessment strategies may include: websites for learning communities,
alignment tools, collections of assessment tasks and items, online
training on how to score assessments, technology enhanced assessment resources,
and online communities or websites focused on assessment these tools can
help teachers create, use, and share formative assessment strategies that can
be used to improve their students learning. I hope that teachers find this
book a consumable alternative to traditional research articles as they
seek out information on how to effectively employ technology
for formative assessment in their classrooms. In the future I hope to
receive feedback from teachers regarding their uses of this iBook as well as
comments and suggestions. I would like to create a companion book for
administrators who seek to educate and train their staff on formative
assessment through educational technology. The field of educational
technology is developing and changing at a rapid pace. New apps and programs are
being developed every day. As teachers we have to continually seek out current
information and continue our own learning to benefit not only ourselves
but also our students.
