Next is Best - STARDUST (BEHIND THE SCENES by fragmentsofexistence) - Duration: 6:23.

The project initially started

with me meeting Jonathan

His family owns a castle in Normandy

and I thought that the place

could be great to shoot a video

It made me want to write about that place

which is imbued with a strong history

I mixed a lot of things

I looked into different legends

Ancien Greece, Vikings...

It became a melting pot

The idea was really

to see it as a fairy tale

I was listening to the audiobook of Dune

by Frank Herbert

which inspired me a lot

Dune is about changing scales

The lyrics of Stardust say that

nothing really matters

because if you put things into perspective

we're all potentially made of star dust

Costumes are more than a hobby

it's more of an obsession

On the shoot I was Edgar's assistant

he was already our costume designer

on Little Party Queen

I mainly worked on the two Guardians

which ended up taking weeks to make

and became huge sculptures

The song plays with dynamics

on low and loud sounds

because nowadays it's hard to find music

with a lot of dynamics

because everything's turned all the way up

Which is why I like

to use silence in my music

Stardust plays a lot with silences in the verses

and on the opposite

the choruses are very dense

with a lot of compression and harmonics

I really used the full bandwidth

That's the contrast we tried

to work on in the song

And... Action!

Writing the lyrics for Stardust...

First when I heard the instrumental

I'd never heard anything like it before

so I wanted to do something different

not something better written

rather more elaborate

It ended up being darker

more spiritual and more vague

because it suited the music

It all started with something quite simple

we were on the Seine banks

and I had a small bottle of aloe vera

I was banging it on the stone

It made a very interesting noise

that inspired the track

I went home to record that bottle sound

And actually Stardust was originally titled

'Paris in a bottle'

... a shot or two in the corridor

of you walking with the lantern

and we're done

Look at the coin, look at the owl

the shot ends but we keep rolling

You stay in the same position

and I'll tell you again 'Look at the coin...

...and look at the owl'

I think you can be closer to the curtain

and then you go down like this, see?

God is reassuring you right now

He will never ever leave you nor forsake you

This video is gonna be a little bit

Different well the topic for today is God knows what we need before we even ask everything in life

I believe happens for a reason

Regardless of where you are at in your life regardless of the situation that you might be faced with I believe that

Good can come out of that situation. I believe it's when we go through those difficult times in our lives

It's where we really truly find out what we're made of life is not easy

I can't say that it is it does get challenging at times

But it's all a matter of how you look at the situation

It's like you can either

Let that situation make or break you I'm going through a divorce a really tough time in my life

And I'm left with my three children my ex-husband did some really terrible things to me

I could hold on to that and say I'll never love again or

I'm just gonna give up or I could just take it which is what I'm doing

I could just take it and and thrive let it allow me to

Grow am I gonna look at every person and say they're horrible and say that they're terrible no no I'm not

I'm gonna look at life to say things

Happen to people

I've heard the question asked before I didn't bad things happen to good people what I do know is that?

In the book of Job,Job was a very devote, man

He loved and honored God and everything he did he had wake up and offer sacrifices for his sons

And his daughters just in case they sinned it turns out that he had a lot of

Mishaps happened to him. I look at it. I'm like

Why did you allow that to happen to Job?but God is all-knowing God. He's the all Sovereign God

He allows things to happen for His reason to bring Him glory and

Job turned around and said even though, Job lost everything to the point where his body was like breaking out in

sores Job was literally like near death's door and

Job turned around and says *though. He slay me, yet will I trust him*

I don't know how many of us will say that today being Christians or how many of us?

In general will say even though the situation is terrible

I'm still gonna trust that there is good in it there are times honest to God when I was going through what I was going

Through and I was like God like what did I do wrong?

I'm here trying to have a family and do things the right way get married. But, yet, You do this to me?

I did question it and I was like what the heck?

But now I'm realizing that even though I can't see the outcome of this

I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel I'm gonna trust through this

Season that God will honestly

Literally come and comfort you in the midst of your storm that He will give you strength

You know the Word of God says His peace

He leaves you not as the world gives, but as the Father gives so He gives to you

He said He'll give you the peace that surpasses all human understanding and as I speak to you

I'm speaking to myself God will work it out

I don't know how He's gonna work it out in my life

But this is what keeps me going to say you know what God yes?

My friends may fail me people in the church may fail me

But God you know why You never will fail me well my husband has failed me. Yes my family has failed me but at the

End of the day that a lot of people have let me down, but God you never will I'm holding on to that

Hope I'm holding on to that assurance to say God. You're gonna come through for me

That's what I want to share with you all and I just want to say that you know what you're gonna get through this
