There's something fishy in White Salmon politics. White Salmon Mayor David Poucher

and the Klickitat County Republicans have joined forces to elect their

candidates to City Council. This year Mayor Poucher asked four candidates to

run for City Council. His candidates are the only ones that

were invited to the Klickitat County Republicans Candidates night where they

were offered campaign funds and endorsements. The Non-Poucher candidates

were never even contacted or asked their positions and the issues by the

Mayor or the Republicans. After providing their endorsements, the Klickitat County

Republicans have started a campaign to discredit the other candidates and

provide misleading endorsements of their own candidates. Laura Cheney the former

chair of the Klickitat County Republicans has been doing opposition

research including public record searches and Facebook stalking. She's

threatened public embarrassment to candidates if they don't drop out of the

race and has also attempted to undermine a candidate by submitting a story to the

Enterprise. She's also reached out to local

conservative groups, demeaning the other candidates, and at no time has she

mentioned her party affiliation. Lisa Evans an organizer and fundraising chair

for the Klickitat County Republicans endorsed Poucher's candidates in the

White Salmon Enterprise as the "mature" candidates to take "non-partisanship" to

heart. She, too, never mentions party affiliation.

The City Council and the Mayor are designed to be checks and balances

against corruption and special interests in city government having Mayor Poucher

select his own candidates is a serious conflict of interest that needs to be

addressed. As nonpartisan positions, City Councilors should not run as Democrats or

Republicans. They should run as White Salmonites that care about their community

this November do your own research and choose the candidates that you feel are

best for our community.

Khabib's last bout was last year vs Michael Johnson where he won by kimura at UFC 205.

Edson Barboza's last victory was back in March with a flying knee and he rides a 3

fight win streak.

Chael Sonnen claims Bruce Lee was a puss. you know you always hear these mixed martial

artists bringing bruce lee along and Bruce Lee was a puss.

He couldn't fight a single bit, but, he did have the right mentality.

Which, was to say, "my style is an adaptation of all styles, I just take what works from

Karate I won't take all of karate but I will take the things that work, I won't

take all of boxing but I will take the shots that work, I won't take all of wrestling

but I will take the positions that work in a real fight and steal from all of them and

that makes perfect sense to you as I say that right now but I will remind you when he said

this in the 70's it was not that way you had to be locked into your style.

If you trained Akido you never one day stepped foot inside of a Kung Fu gym if you trained

Judo, you never one day set foot in a karate gym.

Bruce Lee, was the guy to go, forget all of that.

Take anything from any style as long as it works in a competitive environment so he was

very ahead of his time and even though he couldn't fight a lick martial artists are

happy to bring him along for the ride and make believe that he was some kind of a special

fighter because he did have a special philosophy for that time period.

A lack of professional fight footage makes it a murky subject.

But, from word of mouth there have been some stories floating around the internet supporting

Bruce Lee's ability to fight.

However, Deiveson Figueiredo had an especially arduous task of not exceeding the maximum

weight limit for flyweight at 126 lbs. it ultimately led to him shedding some tears

but he managed the cut.

We'll see how he performs on the prelims tomorrow vs Jarred Brooks.

This is Figueiredo second fight in the UFC.

He won the first by KO vs Marco beltran and is currently undefeated at 12-0.

not have been illegal if only one hand was making contact.

And finally we have Michael bisping and cody garbrandt still debating over who the REAL

main event is.

Garbrandt claimed his is which elicited Bispings response which was "I've never paid to

watch somebody fight that's the size of my leg in my life, Cody needs to spend less

time plucking his eyebrows and more time living in the real world, because it ain't the

main event, simple as that."

Cody doubled down on his statement with a tweet saying "lets be honest here bisping

your fight is a gimme fight the only hype around it is George St. Pierre's come back.

Funny thing is he's called his own fight a gimme fight as well a few days ago

However after a quick vote the overwhelming majority of MMA fans have shown more interest

in Cody vs TJ.

The scientists teamed up with mind tech experts MyndPlay and found 84% of shoppers experience a "buyers high" at check out. The study said this feeling is also comparable to a Formula 1 driver finishing a race.

However, the research said there was a difference between people who bought things that accentuated their own style and those who bought things to follow the herd.

The "inspired shoppers" were the ones who experienced the high, but the "copycats" were left feeling exhausted. So much so that the copycats experienced a 30% increase in mental fatigue every 10 minutes while shopping.

Rob Hattrell, Vice President of eBay UK, said: "Shopping is personal. It's a reflection of what makes you, you.

"This fascinating research gives great insight into the highs that can be achieved when you hit the zone of inspiration and shop like nobody else.".

Inspired shoppers, however experience a prolonged mental high. To get into the inspired zone, the research said all you need to do is be present and calm while shopping.
