Waching daily Oct 28 2017

I'm Anjo Damiles.

I'm Chino Roque.

And we're about to embark on a meaningful adventure

with one personal mission.

We can do this. Let's go!

8 Stories.

8 Journeys.

#ThePLAN is to get

Scenezoned.

I've been an athlete since I was 10.

From football to dragon boat,

CrossFit and triathlon,

I always try to challenge myself.

And since I opened my own CrossFit gym,

I've always encouraged people to push their limits

and remain healthy and fit.

I'm always in front of the camera.

That's why I work hard to be in my best shape.

I do most of the work inside the gym,

but on really busy days, it could be a chore.

So, I'm thinking of exploring new ways

to mix up my fitness routine.

The island province of Guimaras

is primarily known as the exporter

of world-class mangoes,

our national fruit.

But, did you know that it is also the go-to place

for mountain bikers?

The tourist spots are so close to each other,

you can get around by bike.

The fifth smallest province is perfect for fitness freaks like us.

Guimaras it is!

For #ThePLAN is to go on a fitness adventure.

Guimaras has always been a popular side trip

for adventurous travelers

because it is near Iloilo city.

This is no side trip though.

We're really heading to the mango capital of the Philippines.

We'll catch the earliest flight to Iloilo,

and from the city proper,

there's a wharf where we can take a 15-minute boat ride

to the island province of Guimaras.

Morning!

So we just landed here in Iloilo,

and we are on our way to the land of mangoes.

Let's go!

No time to waste!

The moment we got there, we went straight to the Woodland Bike Park.

This is our first stop.

We're gonna ride our mountain bikes.

Mountain bikes over here.

These babies right here.

We're ready to roll!

We met Chris,

consultant of Guimaras Bike Paradise of the Philippines Project.

Guimaras has always been a secret spot for mountain bikers.

The topography of this island is just perfect.

to become the premiere biking destination

within the country.

It's all green,

the environment is still, very well intact here.

Bikers are very welcome in Guimaras.

The more we talk to Chris,

the more I had a deeper appreciation

of what they're trying to achieve here in Guimaras.

Through the development of bike tourism within the province

gives opportunities to local communities

to have other options for livelihood.

So it's not only about the fun aspect of biking,

it's also helping the local people here in Guimaras.

You get to bike and do something good at the same time.

We knew it was gonna be an adventure.

'Sup, guys! We're here at the Four Cross (4X) Track,

and it's me and Anjo on our mountain bikes now.

It's your very first trail, right?

It's my first trail ever.

Hope we don't tip over or maybe fall over.

Let's go!

Guimaras really takes pride in their most famous export product.

So Chris brought us to this mango farm

where we saw these rows of 57-year-old mango trees

that formed cool-looking canopies.

We're here at the famous mango farm in Guimaras.

We're gonna try the mangoes fresh.

It's so yummy!

That is really sweet, really good.

The mangoes of Guimaras are the sweetest.

It's in the Book of World Records.

The people here take so much pride in it

that they prohibit the entry of non-native mango fruits and seeds.

Guimaras is effortlessly charming.

But, we're in an island province,

and we wanted to see the ocean.

At the Sibunag port,

there's a long concrete trail leading out towards the pier

where we can have a view of the Guimaras Strait.

We're just in the middle of our fitness journey.

What better way to just go around Guimaras with our bikes.

This is exactly what we came here for.

To ensure sustainability,

they have pinpointed marine protected areas

in different parts of this wide stretch of water.

Guimaras Strait.

Look at that.

Let's go!

It was exhilarating to finally get off the main road,

go off the beaten track

to see something like this secret beach.

The restful vibe of the beach

made it perfect for some downtime.

Anjo and I are just taking a break here at Chris' secret spot.

Pero hindi na siya secret.

We heard that is the best spot to chill

for the mountain bikers here in Guimaras.

Water break.

Cheers!

And tables.

And then, it was time for another exercise-slash-tour.

What's up, guys?

So we are here at the Trappist Monastery right now.

Look at that view.

We're gonna go for a relaxing ride around these coconut trees.

Everything that we saw in that blessed farm

was grown, harvested, and handpicked for production

of yummy mango products

by the monks of the only male monastery in the country.

So if you think about it,

they really are doing sustainable farming here in Guimaras.

We came from a long day of biking.

What better way to spend it than with snacks?

They're actually freshly made here

in the Trappist Monastery.

Mango bars.

Mmm, sarap!

Everything in Guimaras just seemed to fit well together.

The way they manage their resources

and how it supports people's livelihood.

So we were completely blown away when we learned that in Guimaras,

there was also a wind farm.

Anjo and I are here again at our final stop of our fitness journey.

It was tiring, but it was worth it, isn't it?

It is.

We are here in the first wind farm of Visayas.

So beautiful.

For the entire province of Guimaras,

we need about four turbines to power the whole province.

Just four?

Yeah.

And how many do we have here?

Twenty-seven.

With renewable energy,

we do not burn any fuel.

In a way, we do our part

in minimizing the causes for climate change.

Guimaras is certified green.

In more ways than one,

it's pioneering in agri-eco tourism.

I never thought fitness,

pushing our limits

could actually be this enjoyable and thrilling.

You have to keep moving forward.

Constantly peddling hard on your workouts

and continuously doing more.

It's more fun to ride a bike

'cause your senses are heightened

and you feel more connected with the nature around you.

And once you're in tune with your environment,

you're more likely to protect and sustain it.

And that's something that's more apparent here in Guimaras

than any other place I've visited.

These two wheels can transform lives –

they can transform communities.

It allows us to get to places.

Experience more

and live a better, healthier life.

Selena Gomez is still learning

The Bad Liar hitmaker took time away from the spotlight as she had to undergo a kidney transplant after her battle with Lupus and says the most important thing she has learned is to take care of herself.

She said: This year, I did it on my own pace. I dont want to rush this.

I was like, No, Im going to release the songs I want to release and just take my time. I was going through stuff personally, and I just wanted to take care of myself..

And the 25-year-old singer believes her next album will be the most honest of all the LPs she has released so far. She added: The song is very beautiful and personal. The lyrics just have a whole story of its own.

Weirdly, at the same time I was working on it in Japan, I was going through stuff too. I would think its safe to say that after a few things Ive experienced, [this will be my most honest album yet]..

Selena cant wait until her best friend Taylor Swift releases her hotly-anticipated album Reputation next month and has revealed she is inspired by the Look What You Made Me Do singer.

She shared: Would you expect any less [than incredible]? Its so inspiring.

Its really cool to surround yourself with people and be involved with people who are aspiring and changing the way that they dictate what they love, whether its acting or music, and shes one of those people who continues to do that.

I love her so much and want her to do what she does and shes killing it. Its everything you would want and more, so very proud and obviously a major fan..

And when it comes to herself, the brunette beauty - who is dating The Weeknd - isnt sure what her schedule is looking like for the future.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Beats Radio 1, she said: For me, I dont know where Ill be. I wanna take it day by day. Maybe Ill be in the studio for a while or maybe Ill be home and do that.

'Roger Federer is SICK': Rafael Nadal gets huge boost in race for no.1 - Duration: 2:59.

'Roger Federer is SICK': Rafael Nadal gets huge boost in race for no.1

According to Sky Sports commentator Mark Petchey, Federer was sick coming into the Swiss Indoors.

It seemingly hasnt affected him on the court - hes crushed Frances Tiafoe and Benoit Paire in rounds one and two - but Petchey believes hes not feeling his best.

Petchey said: Federer looked a little under the weather against Paire. He has been sick coming into this tournament and didnt look 100 per cent.

He played great against Tiafoe in the first round, he really did.   It was a very dangerous first-round match for him and he gave Tiafoe the respect and due care and attention.

He played decently against Paire but he didnt play great, the Frenchman wasnt at his best.

He missed a lot of backhands as well as forehands.   Federer is 1,960 points behind Nadal in the ATP rankings going into the last few weeks of the season.

A tournament win in Basel would reduce the deficit to 1,460 points with the Paris Masters up next. FEDERER PULLS OFF WONDERSHOT This is the Roger Federer shot which is being dubbed the best of the season.

The 19-time Grand Slam champion needs to win the Swiss Indoors this week to keep his chances alive of catching Rafael Nadal at the top of the rankings.

But for large periods of his quarter-final clash against Adrian Mannarino, Federer was staring down the barrel.   Mannarino won the opening set 6-4 to heap pressure on Federer in front of his hometown fans in Basel.

Federer came back to win the second before the Frenchman carved out two break points in the sixth game of the deciding set.

Federer saved the first but missed his first serve at 30-40 down - before this (above) happened.   The Swiss star went on to win the match 4-6 6-1 6-3.

Celebrity New : Demi Lovato is proud flashing her underboob - Duration: 3:34.

Demi Lovato is proud flashing her underboob

The Sorry Not Sorry hitmaker appeared on Ellen DeGeneres YouTube show the Show Me More Show and listed off a number of incidents that she will never apologise for and others she wish she could.

Demi revealed she wouldnt apologise for snoring on aeroplanes, going through an emo stage, showing skin, flashing underboob, regifitnig - and said she does it all the time - and even hooking up with an ex.

However, the 25-year-old star admitted she would apologise for getting embroiled in Twitter feuds, though she didnt name who with.

Demi recently created a documentary series Simply Complicated which detailed her previous struggles with substance abuse and eating disorders, as well her current battle with bipolar disorder.

The Confident singer entered rehab in 2010 to seek treatment for a dependence on alcohol and drugs, as well as get therapy for an eating disorder and self-harming, and although shes been clean ever since, she admits its still a struggle to keep herself sober.

Speaking recently about her documentary series, she said: I think what was difficult about the process was being honest about where I am in my life today. Telling the world that Im not the poster child for recovery.

Sometimes it is a struggle, and sometimes I still deal with issues that I have suffered from in the past. Its a challenge to maintain recovery, and I talk about that in the film.

So, for me, its like kind of admitting that Im not. Obviously Im not perfect, but admitting that on camera.

I want to be the best role model that I can be for my fans, so by admitting that Im not perfect, its kind of weird for me.
