Hi i'm Eric and this is Paul, from AW Direct. Paul is with our product

support team and he's going to help us out today with questions about synthetic

rope. Paul when would you say synthetic rope would be more advantageous to a tower

to put on their truck? Well synthetic can be used in nearly any situation

where steel cable can. Anywhere where you're pulling cars off the side of the

road like on the interstate it works great. Any type of in-town towing, it

works great. If you're doing recovery like out west and you're pulling a long

ways. it can be used, but you need to watch out to make sure it's not rubbing

where it could cut the cable. When is a wire rope more advantageous? Well it can

be used in any scenario where the rope may not be treated as well as it should

be. Long recoveries where the rope is being dragged on the ground, rubbed

against trees. The wire rope will hold but up a little bit better than

synthetic. So is synthetic rope more prone to wear than a wire rope? Well they

wear pretty much at the same rate. It all depends on how well it's taken care of.

Now synthetic will look a little fuzzy when you're using it. The fuzzy hairs

that stick outside of the cable are normal. What you do want to watch out for

is any sort of damage to the cable. Burn marks, cuts, strands that have pulled out

from the main body, are all things you want to look out for. Okay, Paul knowing

that how often should synthetic rope be inspected? Well you'll want to inspect

any winch line on a daily basis, so you want to inspect synthetic rope everyday

as well. Paul you've really shared some great information with us about

synthetic rope and I'm sure you've gotten a lot of operators interested.

What would you tell an operator is the next step if they're interested in

changing their truck over from a wire rope to a synthetic rope? Well I'd

Synthetic Winch Rope vs. Steel for use in Towing from the COO of Prairie Land Towing - Duration: 2:44.

Hi I'm Eric and this is Todd from Prairie Land Towing. I wanted to talk today

about synthetic rope versus wire rope and Todd I notice on a lot of your

trucks that you have synthetic rope now versus the wire rope. Why did you decide

to switch over to synthetic? A lot of positives about the synthetics. We

switched to synthetics based on we had some tensioner issues. You can completely

eliminate the tensioners on a carrier when you go to synthetic rope. We had

over a lot of roller issues as well. Where rollers were grooving out and we

had to constant replace those. So those rollers don't get the damage as

well. And so these are the benefits now that you've seen from synthetic rope.

Absolutely. Okay. When you made the switchover from the wire rope to

synthetic rope was that difficult? was there anything that you had to do

specially with your trucks? It was a little difficult in the beginning. We had

to make sure that our drums are clean. We had to make sure that our snatch blocks

were new. If you have any type of chafing or sharp object in your truck you got to

clean those out because the synthetic is going to break. But it took a little bit as

a huge learning curve on the driver standpoint as well. Have you gotten

feedback from your drivers with respect to synthetic versus wire rope? Absolutely.

The synthetic is much more safe I believe if you have a breakage or

failure. You're not going to have a damage or some type of injury in that situation.

At the same time it cuts with your hands you know poking through your gloves.

It floats. It's lighter. There's a ton of different benefits the drivers have come

back and said this is a great great use of our dollars. Okay, if you were to

give advice to another wrecker or another tow company about synthetic versus wire

rope what would you tell them? Hands down, absolutely go synthetic. It is

it is safer, it's by far cleaner. You don't have that little cable and chain

lube on a rope all the time that's mudding up your gloves that then

transports the truck that transports to the vehicles car then, I'm sorry the

customers vehicle. It's a much much cleaner rope. There's no memory to it

There's no tensioners. I mean that was a huge piece I think when we did

switch going back to that. Every day I would hound guys to make sure you rewrap

your cable, rewrap your cable, make sure it's clean, make sure you don't get flat spots.

What not. By going to synthetic you limited the tensioner and it can be wrapped

any which way it wants to be. You know it may not look pretty but it's never going to

have a bad spot because it flat spotted or because it got twisted up in some way

shape or form and when you go to pull that line out now

there's a lot less work comp claims because when the tensioner with a steel

rope, sometimes these guys really have to yank on because it gets stuck, especially

the winter. With a light rope you literally one hand and pulls right out

nice and easy. So you'll be continuing to use synthetic rope? Absolutely we'll

continue to use synthetic rope. Todd I really appreciate it.

Synthetic Winch Rope Advantages and Advice for Use in Towing from COO of Prairie Land Towing - Duration: 2:48.

Hi I'm Eric and this is Todd from Prairie Land Towing. I wanted to talk today

about synthetic rope versus wire rope. So Todd, one of the questions I wanted to ask

you with respect to wire versus synthetic rope. Is there a cost factor? Is

there are savings involved? Yes and no. There's a savings in the fact that I

would say there's less damage on a synthetic rope. When a rope touches

a bumper it's not going to scratch. When a cable or a wire rope touches a bumper

you have the potential scratching something. When it comes to the actual

the purchase of the rope now there's a big difference. Synthetic is going to cost a

lot more than than a wire rope you can buy a pallet at a time. Okay, and then if

something should happen to a synthetic rope, you have a driver out in the field

and the rope breaks, what's involved as far as getting that that driver back

and working and the truck back and working and doing business for you?

That's the great part about synthetic is literally any Boy Scout can tie any knot

and just pull it tight and you can continue on with your job. The next

morning that truck will come in and the tech will will then cut it and fix it

and actually splice it back together. So we'll buy 80 foot rope and we'll cut

those down to a 50 foot. Once we hit under 50 feet then we'll throw them in a

tool box as a log chain and it's a lot lighter a lot cleaner log chain down the

road versus having all this extra weight in your truck as well. So very, very easy

to fix and anybody can just tie it quick knot, continue their job and it'll still

work the rest of the day. Looking at synthetic rope versus wire rope do you

feel it synthetic is safer? I do. I believe the synthetic is a safer tool to

use in our toolbox. We want to make sure that people don't get cuts and slits in

their hands when they're using it. At the same time if there's a catastrophic

failure that rope is going to drop clean to the ground, it's not gonna have a recoil

situation where something...it's not going to have a recoil situation where a chain or

a snatch block or something's going to come back and explode back in someone's

face. At the same time if something does move and you're in the wrong place at the

wrong time, the rope is going to be much more forgiving. Okay.

So if someone were just getting started the business they're gonna be brand new

to the towing business, what would you recommend as far as wire versus

synthetic. I would recommend synthetic 110% but start with synthetic. Start new

make sure that the drum of the truck everything is new to begin with. If you

don't have a new situation make sure it's clean, go over it nice and nice and

neatly. Keep the rope itself, there's a four or five foot sleeve that

comes with every rope. That should be on the drum. If that's protecting, that's

really not protecting the drum or the or the bumper, it's protecting the rope from

the drum. So make sure that's wrapped on the very first layer. Awesome. Todd, I

They're acting as thugs,

storm troopers,

they're blasting into people's lives

causing them great distress.

It's terrifying these people.

So what experience did you have?

Well basically there was a

guy walking around the garden dressed as a policeman.

This guy had a stab jacket

on, cameras,

radio... He looked like a policeman.

The door was open to him.

He basically pushed his way

in. Okay.

Blah blah blah.

Now we're coming to take everything in your

And he did that

whilst there was a court stay in place.

And I said get out of this house.

Luckily I had him on camera.

And you know there's a

thing with...

I'm telling him get out.

There's a court stay.

Oh no there isn't.

You know I'm going to come

and take all this stuff.

The police were called who did absolutely

nothing. Oh he's only doing his job

sir.

The police said that.

Yeah. I mean that's Nelsonian knowledge.

They're instructed by the Chief

Constable to just let him get

on with it because they're working for the

courts so say.

This is intimidating for anybody

the general public has no concept

of this type of action until it happens to

them, suddenly there's a

goon at the door smashing the door down

kicking their way into the house,

grabbing all their stuff

or making them sign something

that they have no idea what it is.

Or sitting them at their computer getting them

to sign up to a payday loan

with astronomical 5000 percent APR.

I mean it's...

in 2017 in the

UK. This is beyond belief.

I think that the

bailiff behaviour

absolutely needs curtailed.

There is law in place which

is supposed to regulate them

but it is completely unchecked.

And if you make complaints to

the High Court Enforcement Officers Association

you're just complaining to the guy that kicked

the door down.

It doesn't work.

You can't get any news from

the Lord Chief Justice because they don't even answer

your letters. It goes in the ram file.

We need to have a proper process

where there is some recourse

to their actions.

And at the moment we have none.

Germany's left in crisis as voters leave in their DROVES for populist parties

Of the 709 Bundestag seats, only 289 members of parliament belong to the three traditional left-wing groups and in last month's the Social Democrats (SPD), the Greens and Die Linke [The Left] won just 38.6 per cent of the vote - the lowest total for more than 50 years.

Amid increasing challenges from the other sides of the Bundestag, 's left-leaning groups have been urged to put aside their rivalries and unite to offer effective opposition to Angela Merkel's government.

Die Linke co-leader Bernd Riexinger said: "There has been a clear shift to the right. In the old Bundestag there was still a narrow majority for the left. "The left-wing bloc has never been weaker." .

He added: "We have to get to the point where two parties with different approaches — the SPD with a clear social democratic approach and we as democratic socialists — fight together for the hegemony in our society.  "We need to fight with different programmes but together against the rightwing and conservative camp."  SPD MP Jens Zimmerman believes the left needs to work out a way to combat the populist policies that have taken Europe by storm.

He said: "The question the left faces in Europe is how we position ourselves at a time when rightwing and nationalist populism in on the rise.

"One additional factor that we have in Germany is that the economic development has been very good.

That has papered over some of the social problems we still have."  Last month, the right-wing AfD became the third-largest party in the German parliament, presenting Mrs Merkel with a new challenge as she won her fourth term as Chancellor - albeit with a diminished authority.

In neighbouring Austria and the Czech Republic, recent elections have been won by right-wing candidates peddling populist policies that are undoubtedly worrying those in Brussels and Berlin.

Austria's Sebastian Kurz, 31, has invited the far right freedom party for coalition talks given the similarities in their tax and immigration policies while in Prague, billionaire businessman Andrej Babis is against deeper EU integration and has hinted at joining Poland and Hungary as their hostile relations with Brussels continue to worsen.

While the SPD and Die Linke are believed to be considering developing closer ties and putting old rivalries to rest, the Greens are in talks with Mrs Merkel's CDU and the pro-business Free Democrats as the parties try to form a coalition government.

The fact that the Greens, traditionally a left-wing party, are readily considering joining a centre-right coalition rather than a new alliance with Die Linke and the SPD reveals the sorry state the German left is in.

Hi guys, welcome again to Kissan Tiffin Timetable.

Its a new day , but the same old question

What to make in the tiffin?

I'm Shipra and along with a lot of your favourite chefs

We are bringing in 200 recipes for 200 school days

So today I'm going to make Chicken Stir Fry with Black Bean sauce

This Chinese treat is full of protein and your kids will surely enjoy it, specially in the tiffin.

So come lets see how to ake ' Har Din Naya Tiffin Har Din Empty Tiffin "

So first of all in a bowl, we're going to mix all the sauces

Here's the black bean sauce

Oyster sauce

and now I'm going to add Kissan Tomato Ketchup to this.

Balances the flavour of this dish and gives and little bit of sweetness and tanginess

A quick stir and we keep this on the side.

Now in another bowl we're going to add chicken, its boneless chicken.

I'm going to add a little bit of salt

Corn Flour

White Pepper

Black Pepper

and vinegar

and we'll give it a quick mix

So that all the ingredients are well combined

and we leave it for 5-10 minutes on the side.

Now I'm going to heat a pan.

Once its really hot, I'm going to add a little bit of oil to it.

So once the oil is hot, we're going to add finely chopped ginger

sliced garlic

A quick stir.

Now I'm going to add spring onions

which are sliced.

Now to this I'm going to add the prepared chicken

and we'll cook it for

at least 10 minutes

because we've added vinegar to it the chicken will not take very long to cook

You can add a little bit of oil.

So that this doesn't stick at the bottom of the pan.

Once the chicken starts turning white that means its getting cooked.

and here you are

Its slightly brown or charred as well

To this we're going to add our prepared sauce.

and a little bit of vinegar

a little bit of sugar

and we're further going to cook it for another 5 minutes.

So our dish is done. Now I'm going to pack it in the tiffin.

So first of all I've steamed rice

and now this is going to be served on rice.

We'll add some almonds

and some fresh pineapple to our tiffin.

Spaghetti Pasta Recipe | Cheese Vegetable Pasta With Pesto Sauce | Pasta Recipe For Kids - Duration: 4:44.

Today I'm going to make pesto spaghetti with vegetables.

Kids love pasta and this recipe is made even more healthy for them to enjoy

So come let's see how to make " Har Din Naya Tiffin Har Din Empty Tiffin "

So come let's make spaghetti with pesto and vegetables

So first of all we heat a pan.

Once it's a little bit hot I'm going to add oil to it.

and now once it's hot enough we're going to saute our vegetables.

There's broccoli, baby corn, corn, carrots they are blanched already, so it doesn't take time to cook.

We are going to saute it for at least 2 minutes.

Now we prepare the pesto. Here in this case I've already made my pesto.

Pesto is made by 1 cup of basil leaves, 1/4 of pine nuts

2 cloves of garlic.

Extra virgin olive oil and a little bit of salt.

You give it a quick blend in the blender, until it's smooth and this consistency.

So your pesto is ready and you can always adjust the consistency by adding more olive oil

Now to the vegetables I'm going to add spaghetti which is already boiled,

when you boiling pasta it's always Aldante

that means that you leave it at least say 10 to 15 % not cooked or under cooked

because while you cooking it with the sauce or with vegetables it gets cooked very fast.

I'm going to add a little bit of salt to taste.

You can add pepper if you want if your kids like a little bit of spice.

Just let it heat through.

and to this now I'm going to add little bit of Kissan Tomato ketchup

It'll give a nice tangy taste and kids love it, plus the colour is red so it's going to be a good colour with green.

Our spaghetti is ready. Now at this stage I'm going to shut the gas and add my pesto to it.

Pesto can be made in two ways.

You can add Parmesan cheese while grinding the basil leaves and the rest of the ingredients

or you can also add parmesan after it's cooked.

In this case I am going to do it afterwards

Okay a quick toss because we don't need to you know cook the pesto,

the colour will change and you know the freshness will go

So it's important that you just mix and then you serve it in the tiffin.

Now we are going to serve it in the Tiffin

So I'm going to add the Parmesan cheese, once I have put my spaghetti inside the tiffin.

and some vegetables

Okay now we have some fresh parmesan

So now I'm going to add some dry fruit to the tiffin box
