Rice Kheer Recipe / Rice Pudding Recipe /How to Make Rice Kheer Recipe - Duration: 1:25.

Ingredients: 1/4 cup long grain rice 3-4 cups full fat Milk 4-5 tbsp Sugar few strands of Saffron 10 Almonds,chopped 1/2 tbsp Golden Raisins 4-5 green cardamom seeds crushed (optional)

In a heavy bottom pan add 3-4 cups of milk and bring it to a boil.

Soak 1/4 cup of long grain rice for 30 minutes and drain water.Add soaked rice to boiling milk.

Cook rice on low-medium heat for 25 minutes or until kheer thickens. Stir frequently to avoid sticking to the pan.

Add 3-4 tbsp sugar or as needed. Stir and cook for 5 more minutes.

Add raisins, crushed cardamom or few saffron strands and chopped almonds .Mix well and cook or another 5 minutes.

Once it reaches desired consistency. Turn off the heat.

Transfer to a bowl.Garnish with few chopped almonds ,saffron strands and serve.
