Hailee Steinfeld Reveals Just How Much New Music Is Coming at 2018 Grammy Awards

Hailee Steinfeld is ready to live it up in 2018! After arriving at the Grammy Awards in New York City, the Pitch Perfect star was asked if fans can expect more new music or more movie rolls in the coming months.

Her answer may surprise you. It goes back and forth so Im incredibly lucky that I get to do both.

I get to spend enough time with one thats enough to get me to go to the other for a while, Hailee told Ryan Seacrest on Live From the Red Carpet. Right now, the focus is music.

I plan on having an album out this year that Im very excited about and I feel honored to be a part of tonight. In fact, the voice behind big hits including Love Myself and Most Girls is hitting the road this summer with Charlie Puth.

When asked what fans can expect, Hailee teased that new music will likely be heard on the tour.   The new music is being worked on so that will dictate the show, she shared with fans.

Im very much looking forward to what that will be. And for those who love seeing Hailee on the big screen including roles in True Grit and The Edge of Seventeen, the 21-year-old assures fans that shes not done acting just yet.

As of right now, in terms of the movies, nothing is set in stone, Hailee shared. I recently bought myself a camera and I downloaded Final Cut and figured out how to edit.

Which One is Better? - Duration: 2:14.

What you're probably thinking is:" I know he's gonna say paper"

But the answer may surprise you. Because I'm not gonna say paper.

But before dropping the bomb, let me introduce.

E-reader isn't this much of a thing.

I remember when this thing was released some years ago,

it appeared like we could basically burn all the books,

Fahrenheit 451 style. But it didn't happen. Or if you say that it must happen,

it will happen, it hasn't happened yet. And the reason is a matter of value.

Because we tend to assign higher value to a thing we can physically own than to

a digital one. Even if it isn't very logical. Because the physical books have

the same legibility than digital ones. This was proven by making people read

short texts written on: paper, an iPad LED screen like this one, and an Amazon

Kindle that uses e-ink like this one. Then these people had to answer a

comprehension questionaire, and they noticed that there was no real difference in

comprehension and brain effort between the readings. So by reading from a LED screen,

e-ink or paper your brain takes the same effort. But still they noticed that

most of the people were preferring the paper.

So in terms of what is easier to read,

the answer is: "Whatever you like". But I'm gonna spend a word more for LED

screen. You may already know that long exposure to LED screen is bad for your eyes,

so do prefer paper or e-ink to that, UNLESS

you are senior (60+ age). In that case reading from a tablet (LED screen) may

result to a better understanding. Why? Because old eyes make more effort to

read things with low contrast. LED screen have a higher contrast, so for old eyes

it's easier to read things there.

I don't know, I'm a very big believer or just doing what makes you happy

Uhm, because it helps. Then you realise what you want and you just do it

What do you think is the biggest mistake people can make when finding their purpose when

When they get too rich

Why would you say that?

Because, uhm, money changes their way of perception from where they have been come from

Some people have certain things they want to do like callings

If you want to be a doctor then perhaps it is to like heal people

If you have a particular skills you feel like that will be your purpose

Uhm, I don't really have that

So at this point I'm just trying to go with my gut and try do what makes tell people happy

What makes me happy

Do you think everybody's purpose is the same

Ah not going to be the same

Some they not going to school...

And what do you think is one of the mistakes people can make in finding their purpose

Ah going for something wrong

Such as?

Like doing something they don't like

Just going ahead are you, do you think you're gonna discover more of your purpose ...

Oh amen brother. Amen, on a daily basis

I'd say try find a point to what you're doing

but I think finding a purpose in life as a whole is a pretty impossible task

So I'd say find meaning and what you do rather than finding purpose to your life
