Today I want to teach you how to tune your ukulele and I'm going to tell you a

little bit about the chords. Welcome back to the Baton Rouge Youtube channel. Today

I'm going to teach you how to tune the ukulele. If you want to play with others

or if you want to play tunes that you play along on a record for, I think you

should tune the correct way and that means that you hit just the exact pitch

that you need, in order to be in tune with the other instruments. You know I

love hiking with my ukulele and in that moment I really don't care if I am

playing with the exact right pitch. You know unless I play with a band or other

people I sometimes just tune it by ear, by what I hear and I know that the basic

chord of every ukulele is a major 6 chord. I'm gonna teach you how to tune

the ukulele just by ear in case you don't need the exact pitch. You go from

what a major 6 chord sounds like and I always start with the second string in

that case it's a C-

That's a major chord and now I add the 6. That's an A. So I have C - E - G - A. It

doesn't really matter if you're hiking or if you're away from other instruments

and other musicians, you just memorize this and then you just tune it the way

your ear tells you and that's one, three, five, six. So I hope that helps you. Do

you want to add anything? Yes if you want to play along with the songs

on the radio, or on CD and you know already how guitars work, you can just

think of guitar chords and then put a capo on in the fifth fret. Those

chords are the same as on the ukulele. So if you think

guitar chords with the capo in the fifth fret you get the ukulele chords like

this. Yeah so he already gave away that if you know how to play the guitar that

you don't have a hard job finding your chords. And that's what we're going to

talk about in the next session. We want to teach you some of the chords.

What is this MOOC about? (Paola Corti) - Duration: 2:07.

Welcome to New Assessment Strategies!

This MOOC focuses on formative assessment.

According to the definition given by Black and Wiliam (1998), "we use the general term

assessment to refer to all those activities undertaken by teachers—and by their students

in assessing themselves—that provide information to be used as feedback to modify teaching

and learning activities.

Such assessment becomes formative assessment when the evidence is actually used to adapt

the teaching to meet students needs."

Over 30 years of research suggest formative assessment is a vital curricular component,

proven to be highly effective in increasing student learning.

So, this is the aim of this short MOOC: to accompany you through a short path to orient

yourself into formative assessment experiences and strategies.

Then you can decide if you are willing to consistently add something to your courses,

so that your students can benefit of the feedbacks you can give them along the way, in order

to reach the end of the course and the eventually planned summative evaluation ready and prepared

at the top of their possibilities.

You will meet some of our guests, along the way: they will share with you their experiences,

their doubts, their mistakes, and their results.

After digging deeper into the examples and the theory beyond them, you'll have the

chance to get involved in some design activities, directly reusable in your courses.

So, let's get started!

Why Positive Thinking is Key (It's Not What You Think) - Duration: 1:46.

One of our core values in our company is

Think and talk positive.

This does not mean that you cannot call bad things bad.

This does not mean you cannot  put your finger into a wound and say

"This went really really shit, bad, I hate it"

Of course

We do not to, you know,  want to walk around like hippies

on drugs and be happy all day.  It's not about being happy at all.

Talking positive is taking a step aside

and whatever shit happens, you wanna

take a different angle and look at the perspective

"How did this help us?"

It's reframing a problem,  "What were the learnings out that?"

So if you spend a lot of time and money

and it goes wrong, there is always, always, always something to take away from that.

If you just sit around and complain and bitch about that, then you are doing it wrong.

This is what I'm saying, there is no problems with emotions, there is no problem with fears

all of these things are human and happen.

But, we strive, we target

to find something to take away and let me tell you

whatever bad things happen to me, including being sued in court in Germany,

You know what the good thing about that is?

I can now say that my product was tested in court.

How great is that?

Because I won, OK? And if I had not have won I would probably have another take away.

This is food for thought.

This is what think and talk positive means.

It's not about always just smiling around (hee hee hee)

everything is fine because then usually it is not.

OK? So that is some important  context here for you to understand.

iKON Talks About What Yang Hyun Suk Is Really Like + Who Their Most Popular Member Is In Japan - Duration: 6:48.

iKON Talks About What Yang Hyun Suk Is Really Like + Who Their Most Popular Member Is In Japan

In a recent pictorial and interview for @star1 Magazine, iKON talked about their time in Japan and what they thought of s image on MIXNINE!.

iKON, who recently released their first in over two years, reaffirmed their promise to their fans that they would focus on domestic promotions in 2018.

Soompi. Display. News. English.

300x250. BTF Soompi. Mobile. English.

300x250. ATF.

Donghyuk remarked, We know all too well how long our fans have been waiting.

So I hope that this album becomes the successful starting point for iKONs 2018 promotions..

Chanwoo agreed, When we see fans expressing their sadness that they dont often get to see us on TV shows or performing on stage, we feel unhappy and regretful.

I want us to meet our fans often this year, so that we can get rid of that sadness entirely..

The idols, who spent most of last year promoting in Japan, also talked about how they spent their spare time there.

Yunhyeong revealed, Within our members, we have a gourmand group and a homebody group.

Whenever we have a spare moment, the gourmand group spends its time searching for places to eat delicious food, and the homebody group typically spends its time relaxing alone in the hotel.

Bobby and B.I are usually in the homebody group..

Junhoe added, Personally, I wandered around while listening to music.

It felt as though I were on vacation, which was nice.

Also, since were all legally adults, we occasionally have a glass of beer together and talk a lot..

Chanwoo also named Junhoe and Jinhwan as the most popular members in Japan.

Theyre both good at Japanese, he explained.

I think theyre able to communicate well with our Japanese fans..

When asked whether they thought YG Entertainment head Yang Hyun Suk acted on JTBCs MIXNINE the way he did in real life, Junhoe replied, I think hes begun smiling a lot more.

He became a lot more cheerful..

Yunhyeong commented, He used to have a scary image, but nowadays, he seems like a father figure.

I saw him recently, and I felt something inside that almost made me tear up..

I jokingly interjected, Thats because youre nice and cry easily, hyung.

However, he went on to add, Its not just on MIXNINE. [Yang Hyun Suk] really does smile more these days.

Hes the same as he is on the show..

Later in the interview, Chanwoo selected B.I as the member that he would most want to set up with his younger sister.

B.I may seem as though hes only very smart and clever, but hes also a very pure person once you get to know him, he said.

If I had a younger sister, Id want to set her up with someone this pure..

He then went on to share that Yunhyeong was the best cook of the group.

Yunhyeong is actually good at cooking, reported Chanwoo.

He often cooks for us, and his food is really tasty..

Yunhyeong humbly denied that he was a talented chef, but he did express an interest in appearing on a food-related variety program.

Its not so much because Im good at cooking, but because I have a really honest personality, he explained.

Im bad at lying.

So if something tastes bad, Ill say so..

He jokingly added, Id like to recommend a survival variety program like SBSs to Junhoe and Jinhwan.

Its because I want them to go through that kind of difficult experience..
