Waching daily Jan 31 2018

welcome to JGOD gaming in today's video I'll be focusing on a spawn guide

for the new map occupation in the Call of Duty World War 2 this is part of the

first DLC one resistance pack so what we'll do is break down some of

the different spawns so the ones I'm going to go over our team deathmatch

domination hardpoint and capture the flag

the reason I'm be going over these specific ones is because there's another

mode that mirrors one of these or else I would have just gone through and done

all the modes so for team deathmatch obviously kill confirms for gridiron

we've got capture the flag so it's kind of a balance there dominations is own

thing as well as hardpoint so let's go ahead and get into it

so in the background what imma be talking about is a little bit of you

know playing the actual map so for this one I chose TDM to start off with and as

you can see the spawns in the top right corner in red are where the enemy team

and yourself will spawn so based off where you're spawning where you're

positioned where your teammates are spawning where your teammates are

positioned you're gonna have a good idea and predict where the enemy team's gonna

be obviously certain spawns are a little bit more sticky and have a majority

chance to spawn so right here you can see they're still coming out of the

corner still a little bit of respawn delay it looks like and then you can see

them on my mini-map there's three little blips that pop up so they still all

spawn in this corner just a heads-up if you're interested in a particular mode

and maybe you don't play team deathmatch at all you want to check out one of the

other modes i'ma leave timestamps down in description below as well as the

images so you can click on those save those to your phone desktop whatever you

want to do so that you have access to those so go ahead and check that out in

the description below if you're interested in skipping ahead or you just

want to go ahead and check those out as far as for this map goes obviously it's

a remake of a map we've experienced before and it does look and play a

little bit different but the familiar already did help me when I was playing

online just because I was able to play it as if I knew it because I had a

familiarity with it so you can see right there they all spawned in that little

corner on the bottom right of the map so the spawns they this is how they work

you can cut off a lot of different people you can predict where people are

gonna be especially for some of the other modes as you'll see

pretty shortly that when you actually play you can actually cut people off

from actually coming to the objective at all if you just position to three people

in the right spot you can actually do you know some pretty good work and

cutting people off and almost guarantee a victory especially on some of the hard

points it does cut you off a little bit so right now I'm just kind of

maneuvering through the map I know where they're at I know where they're spawning

problem they don't move too fast cuz they're BOTS but at the end of the day

you know real people online they will be coming out of these areas as well the

reason I do with bots in case you're wondering what the heck is this guy

doing playing against bots it's more for a proof of concept that what you're

looking at on screen matches the spawns and then also to show you that what I'm

actually putting out is something that I've tested I put together and I was

able to identify these areas of spawn locations so when you move around the

map it's something you got to keep in mind obviously the interior the map they

can approach you from any angle but if you're coming out around the outskirts

you can have a better idea of where they're gonna be spawning from and then

have an idea when the spawns of cliff also if you're in their spawn if they're

gonna be spawning on sides of you or behind you or wherever the cases because

sometimes the spawns are a little sticky and they don't always flip so just keep

that in mind as you navigate through the map that you should be able to have a

good idea of where all these people are I usually like to do this when new maps

come out or when the new game comes out I'll go into the private matches or

custom game set up with bots so I get a familiarity of where you know movement

patterns are the spawns where I spawn how to push certain angles and just

doing that overall gives you a comfort with the map that maybe you didn't have

just by jumping in and getting maybe smacked around by someone who's already

played at ten fifty or even a hundred times so a lot of times familiarity with

the maps is huge where to move through where to navigate through is huge

especially in objective game mode so as you can see I'm coming up this stairs

area here and they're all popping up in this corner you can see where my red is

popping up on the mini-map so take this guy out and they continue to flood out

of this corner just because that's kind of the way it's designed now that you

see them in that other corner where the other hotspot is for the red zone so

pretty much as long as you can move from point two hot point as far as red zone

to red zone you should be have a good idea of where everyone is on the map

especially if you coordinate that with where your team is so we'll go ahead and

move on to domination now while that's loading up now is a good time to point

out that it's a good time if you're enjoying the video go ahead and click

that like button subscribe if you haven't already and make sure you ring

that Bell so you have the notifications on and you're up to date with the newest

content that I'm putting out again the light goals 75 so hopefully can help me

out with that if you're enjoying the video let's get down to what the map

looks like so as you can see the map is slightly different you can see where

Zone a B and C are and some of the spawns have shifted just a little bit

we're missing some of those left spawns that we had originally in team

deathmatch so for this one is very similar the way you move around the map

but obviously I'm playing solo with some bots again still so what you want to do

is make sure that you have a good idea of where the spawns are which these ones

like I said it doesn't move too much but it's got a hard time holding down the

area if the team doesn't actually pursue the different areas the main objective

you want to hold down here is B just because you got a good sight line from B

into the spawning areas that you can actually hold it down either off of this

little crate here or your teammate could be a little bit further up without

pushing the spawns and catch people coming out of that spawn to protect B as

long as you have a and C or a and B or C and B a combination of the two you

should be able to win this objective pretty good because if you do the a and

C then the enemy team will actually pop out by the bottom right corner where B

is so you can go ahead and control the spawns if your team is coordinated

enough to go ahead and lock down certain areas so pretty much that's all I'm

doing is I'm rotating back and forth because they lost a so I'm just kind of

coming back to it clearing off the areas it's a little bit slower and Dom because

I don't have that recon plane up constantly but as you'll see they're

pretty predictable spawns are all coming from that top area the enemy teams

trying to take over B so I'm just rotating back because none of the team

is on this side but normal normal match you probably have at least one person on

your team contesting B almost all the time just because it's right here out in

the open getting kills and kind of feeding on

this of the map so every time I'm getting

that recon plane I'm continually looking at the overview of the mini-map just

because it shows a lot of information as you can see right here try to run

through mid coming from off of spawn right now I'm pretty much right on the

outside of their spawn so I know they're gonna come out either through this area

where I'm pushing or to the left of me down this little Street area so pretty

much I'm just kind of holding down the areas because I don't want the spawns to

flip usually when you're playing domination you don't really want the

spawns to flip you want to usually hold two of the objectives and then keep all

your enemy team just pinned and aside a specific spawn because if they're only

coming out of a specific spawn your enemy team becomes very very predictable

and you have a good control of the map so that's just a general tip for

domination but as you see this one the spawns kind of flipped a little bit or

we lost control continually because the the computer teammates just kept losing

a or losing C so kind of rotate it back and forth and pretty much just

continually played the match so right here I'm going back and trying to go

ahead and go flank to get B because it looks like all the enemy is facing that

side so you're going to take them out if someone sits inside that room right down

this Lane they can actually have that perfect vantage point probably for a

sniper as soon as someone peeks take them out so this is a huge lane that you

can probably use for sniping or a really good automatic rifle or just rifle in

general if you if you feel comfortable with the semi-autos or my favorite LMG

the lowest light machine gun which is pretty awesome at that vantage point as

well so you can see how the spawns can be used effectively to manage where your

enemies are coming from control manipulate have the map control so just

about positioning again it's always positioning on all the different Maps so

right here I know they're gonna go ahead and try and flip the spawn so I'm gonna

push it anyways just because my teammates are losing a over there by

themselves so I go ahead and push to take over see I know where they're gonna

be coming from they're probably gonna be coming from this right side or the left

so I just got to pay attention since I don't have that recon up right away so I

just gotta kind of watch and wait and it looks like I was able to take it over

looks like some of the enemy team is over there by B so I'm gonna kind of

pushed B in that direction so pretty much you got to do with the

maps telling you every map slightly different because who you're playing

with sometimes they're slower players

sometimes they're campy ER sometimes they're fast paced players

sometimes they're using shotguns sniper sometimes they're running like a chicken

with their head cut off sometimes your teammates are going for

kilos sometimes your enemies are going for kills I don't want the objective at

all so just keep that in mind that not everything is super cookie cutter but

this does give you a good idea of where enemies are where you're at where you

should be going what space you need to be positioned right now we're triple cap

so the spawns are probably gonna be a little bit funky but as you can see I

got a good idea where they're coming from I know they're all coming from this

corner building I just got to kind of wait it out get a better position than

the enemy team that's usually the name of the game patience and positioning

especially on boots on the ground you can't just out reflex your enemy so

you do have to put yourself in the best position or you can get really swept

really quick especially if you end up to be won a lot of times you're gonna lose

that gunfight unless you are able to flank them catch one off-guard so just

keep that in mind you gotta navigate the map smartly and execute effectively for

Damai only one has demonstrate one round just to show kind of how that works

again proof of concept with the bots just demonstrate that the spawn guide is

accurate and effective for what you're looking to accomplish if you're watching

this video I know I'm repeating myself a little bit but this is for the people

that maybe skip the head to the hardpoint I'm go ahead and remember to

drop that like again the goal is 75 likes if you haven't subscribed yet go

ahead and make sure you click that subscribe button turn on that bell have

the notifications on so you stay up-to-date on future videos and future

content so when it comes to hardpoint the spawns are usually pretty different

than the rest of all the spawns in the different modes just because the

hardpoint rotates and because of that there has to be different spawn points

to accommodate two teams having an equal distance to travel to get to that hard

point so for the most part it's usually pretty equal in some cases there's

usually an advantage where you're gonna be have to walk a little bit farther

than your enemy team so let's go ahead and check those out so when looking at

the hardpoint map you can see that I have both the rotations and the spawns

on there the spawns are a little bit different than the past two maps that we

looked at as far as domination and Team Deathmatch but that's just because the

way the hill rotate so you can see it starts in mid

bumps down to the bottom of the map then goes back up the top and then it goes

kind of four and then five where you can see that's towards the middle and then

towards the right the key with holding down four is

actually making sure you got bottom spawns because after that heel it's

gonna rotate to five now look at how far the spawns are from five pretty much

you're kind of screwed if you're spawning there same thing with three if

you get the spawns you need the spawns for hardpoint three because look at how

far you gotta walk if you don't get hardpoint three look at the spawn so

look at they're all the Wigan and the V to the right or the all the way at the

bottom look at the distance you have to travel so this one's very spawn

dependent same thing with two look at where your enemies are gonna come from

they're gonna come from over by hardpoint five that's a little bit of a

walk but look at if they come all the way by hardpoint three gets kind of

crazy so just something to keep in mind the spawns are key and hard point and

especially on this map so you can see in the background this first Hill is

already done with so I'm trying to rotate to the second Hill just so that

we can make sure we get those spawns feeling that the enemy team's gonna be

in this area so as I approach I have a good idea where they coming from they're

frightened I come from the stairs behind me but then again they are when this a

UAV comes out the recon plane so I turn on that guy take them both out now my

teammates are in position and you can see now look at where how far they're

walking from like what I said they're fun gonna have five and they're spawning

by three so that's what's so key is that you you know you're gonna put your team

at a huge disadvantage if you're not getting these spawns early because most

people that play hard point have no clue what rotating early means they're gonna

fight for a five-second he'll never fight for her five-second hail unless

it's for the win so keep in mind that when you're rotating that you need to

rotate early as long as someone is in the hill there should be at least one

person in the hill leave that as garbage time give that to them get your team in

better position so they're gonna actually take over the next hard point

so you can see here now I'm trying to rotate across the map and love the way

cut these people off so I'm going to push this way I know they're gonna be

spawning in this corner so they already have this Hill advantage they should be

jumping in there pretty soon so as I come around here you can see the little

red dots are popping up a little bit closer to me then they

on the other side of the map I just get repositioned take a couple guys out and

then secure the hill after I mean here for a little bit take out a different

enemies then the hill decides to flip as far as spawns so that now my team has

control of the spawns as long as they move a little bit further down here

we'll we'll get those spawns and then we'll actually have the entire hill time

so as I go ahead and take a look at that overview since I got the Recon out you

can see where they're coming from they're all coming from the opposite

side of the map where those spawns are on the bottom so they got a long walk

and they don't even got a good vantage point when they come out there they're

pretty much there for the picking as you can see I picked one off picked the

other one off and they're still coming from that side down the stairs it's a

longer route to go around the other side but you know it is what it is you gotta

come out wherever the best cover is but right here you can see that it's not

good so they're already gonna have the next hill

so we're gonna start rotating and I'm pushing through mid because I want to

get that hill I got to go through here to get there so you can see that they're

all set up over here on this hill because none of our team rotated

obviously I'm playing with bots they don't they don't know any better but all

the enemy team they definitely shut down that hard point pretty quick so we go

ahead and clear it out and then keep in mind again that when I said when you get

this hill you need to make sure you get the spawns on the bottom of the map so

right now it looks like we have those spawns as long as our team doesn't push

forward we should maintain those but it looks like that guy on the red might

know but he's actually still moving towards his own spawn so now we kind of

got him locked in this way as a hardpoint rotate to the fifth and final

rotation as far as time rotation goes you're gonna see that we're gonna have

those immediately we're gonna have it locked down and they're still gonna be

spawning pretty far so we'll just wait out this nine seconds go ahead and move

over to the next hill because I want to make sure I guarantee myself D spawn so

I go ahead and sit up in here and that's pretty much ends up being in the match

we camp out this one there's only one more hard point to go to number one and

then we have enough time to close out because 55 seconds takes up to up to

about 225 and that's kind of where it sits

hopefully enjoyed the video I would appreciate that like rating if you did

appreciate it you're still here sorry for a little bit of the length I just

thought this is probably the better way to cover it I didn't really like the

first way I did it when I did the other one thing I will throw off on screen in

case you are interested is the capture the flag spawns

and just a heads up with capture the flag spawns like always they're pretty

rigid but you can see there's a lot of places to spawn so I don't think this

was a really high potential spawn trap unless it's a super coordinated team but

you can see where they're at on the screen which they will be down in the

description again as well so if you'd like a copy of any of these or links to

the time stamps in case you want to reference these again make sure you

check down in the description below drop that like rating go ahead and

subscribe if you haven't already ring the bell make sure you got the

notifications on stay up to date follow me on Twitter so that's the probably the

best way to keep in contact with me sometimes YouTube's a little funky with

Home Workout for MUSCLE GAIN EP5 | Legs Routine - Duration: 5:39.

guys, welcome back to the new episode of our home workouts from muscle gain

course and in this episode I will show you an amazing routine for your legs, let

go. so, as I said, this is the routine for you to train legs at home and I promise

you that you will feel the muscle soreness for at least 3 to 5 days, ok. so,

the idea is to do at least 10 rounds, as with all of our other exercises, but

actually 20 rounds will be the best, but it's not only the number of rounds, it is

also about how you do it, ok. so, try not to rest too much between rounds to

do it as intense as possible, probably about a minute, maximum minute and a half

between rounds, if you can't. so, you need to start with 10 explosive sit ups to 90

degrees, 90 degrees means that you do not break this line, you just go to 90

degrees and then you have to jump up, then after you do 10 of this without any

rest you do ten full explosive situps, so now you do break that line and the

third one will be the jumping lunges exercise, which I will show you how it's

done and after doing the whole 20 rounds, then you will have 100 burpees,

but llet's do this, I will show you how it looks, okay. so, first you do ten

jumping ones to ninety degrees one and now you do ten complete ones immediately.

okay, immediately ten lunges, okay. so, try to touch with your knee the floor

okay, so, this was one around and it's really effective if you do it in an

intense way, probably by fifth-seven round you will feel that your legs start

getting really pumped, after you complete the number of rounds, let's say those

could be ten, fifteen or twenty rounds, then you have to do hundred burpees.

I hope you enjoyed this routine, it's really effective, also it's really easy

to do in any place, at home or maybe in your local park and it makes your legs

work a lot, also another suggestion, you can finish off this routine with 5 hundred

meter sprints and then you will feel muscle soreness even more, I would say

for at least 3 to 5 days, we do 20 rounds of this routine with a 20 kilo vest

but of course, when you do it with a weight you have to rest more between the

rounds so this way it's a little bit different, but if you do it just with

your bodyweight you can do it in a really like more intense way and you

will feel how your legs are getting really pumped with such exercise. so, guys,

I hope you enjoyed this episode as well, I will see you in the next part where we

will show you more amazing routines and workouts that you can do at home to

gain strength in your body and to build your muscle, we'll see you there, lets go.

Alan J. Lombardo 2017 Distinguished Alumnus Award for Professional Achievement - Duration: 3:16.

I've known Alan for many years now we met in 1999 when we first came to PT

school here at Shenandoah University we've been friends ever since

I would say best words or phrases that identify Alan would be dedicated

motivated a loyal friend just fun to be around that's what I would how I would

describe Alan and now I probably describe Alan as a more so more

currently as as a family man Alan like I said is married to Amy

who's a good friend of ours and has three beautiful daughters

Olivia Isabella and Elena Alan's career started after he graduated from from PT

school in 2002 he went out to California and he went to work for the VA hospital

out near San Francisco soon after a couple years after I guess he became

a board-certified clinical specialist in neurological PT a couple years later he

went back to came back to the East Coast after he married Amy and

worked at the Richmond VA hospital he was in patient care for I guess till

about 2011 or so when he decided to move out of patient care and move into

administration but I do have a testimonial I actually asked a friend of

mine and a friend of Alan's actually a patient of Alan's for a testimonial and

I'd like to share that with you guys if that is okay his name is Mark Metivier

and Mark has helped out in the physical therapy program for many years and he

helped out when we were students and Mark was actually a patient of Alan's

for years Mark's a veteran who goes to the VA hospital and this is Mark Metivier

as a veteran I have been lucky enough to experience Alan doing what he loves at

the Richmond VA versus a patient of his when he was a PT

on spinal cord injury unit where he provided me with outstanding care on a

professional and personal level more recently in his role as an

administrator he has become a key player in running one of one of our country's

largest VA hospitals all while still being all while still being Alan

outgoing personable caring approachable and still taking the time to throw a

quick conversation or two in about sports well I think Alan's deserving of

the professional achievement award because he has shown such a professional

development since he started from 2002 as a physical therapist to now being a

such a high level administrative position at the VA it is my great pleasure

to introduce to you the 2017 winner professional achievement award

Dave and I met in 1984 I was an undergrad about to finish my school education at

Virginia Tech Dave was a wet-behind-the-ears grad student just

coming in we've developed a relationship over the years that's been fantastic

it's close he's a confidant he is a psychic advisor one of my life

philosophies has always been to try to surround yourself with some of the

finest people you know that are available

Dave's top-shelf no doubt just like the Scotch he drinks Dave brings his a game

but it's not about Dave it's never about Dave, Dave this evening will be squirming in his chair because he

doesn't like this kind of thing it's not about Dave but you couldn't have picked

anyone better Dave's career at Virginia Tech has spanned 32 years the the motto of

Virginia Tech is Ut Prosim which means to serve Dave epitomizes that to

serve that's what he does an example of that is he realized his students

were not getting the best experience possible

at Virginia Tech their rehearsals were in the middle of a field that they

shared with the track team so he brought together a collaboration of the Virginia

Tech administration athletics alumni and a number of others now they have

world-class facilities their own field spectacular and they all did it

for the students he didn't move his office into that building he kept it in

the 50 year old building across campus in Dave's 32 years at Virginia Tech he's

had over 5,000 students by my math he's produced and directed over 250

shows 24 bowl games including a couple of sugar bowls and orange bowls

countless concerts over 11 million live viewers have seen his shows and over 330

million television viewers have seen his students perform you don't have

anybody and Virginia Tech doesn't have anyone that's more published than

Dave McKee I personally know two people that have their own bobblehead the

coach of the Virginia Tech Hokies Frank Beamer and Dave McKee it is my honor to

introduce you this evening the 2017 lifetime achievement award winner Dave

Pro looking lighting for your next product shoot | DIY lighting tutorial - Duration: 6:05.

what's up beautiful people of the Internet today we're talking about

lighting and how would you like to change your lighting for your product

from this to this my latest YouTube video was a review of

the gorillapod 5k kit and if you watched it you might have seen that the b-roll

was shot in a controlled environment and it was lit from scratch now some of you

reached out to me and asked how did you do that how did you achieve that look

how did you manage to light that product in such a way and you might be surprised

to find out that there was no professional lighting involved but

simply I was using two IKEA lamps total cost $20 and an overhead light which was

already present in my living room one equally important thing that's worth

mentioning before we talk about lighting is the composition so your camera

placement when you're filming a product you want your camera to be as low as

possible kind of parallel with your product and

sometimes even shooting up if you're going for that sort of like epic look

it's kind of like when you're analyzing an object and you grab it when you bring

it to your eye level and you give it a good look that way you want to bring

your camera as if the camera was the eye level so the eye line stays the same to

your product and that helps to make the picture look a lot better so with that

out of the way let's get into lighting all I used as I said was two IKEA lamps

and one overhead light now let's get started with the overhead light which I

used as a key you would normally place your key light 45 degrees at the front

of your subject giving it that dramatic kind of like split shadow a 50/50 split

shadow in this case it didn't quite work for me so what I did I used a lamp shade

that was already hanging from the ceiling of my living room but the

problem that you have when you use existing lighting is that house lighting

is designed to fill the room and to go as far as possible because it's serving

the purpose of making the room brighter but it doesn't work when

you're doing that because one of the most important thing to know when it

comes to lighting and they see a lot of people not realizing this is that you

want your subject to be somewhere between one and two stops brighter than

the background or if you want to flip that around you want your background to

be one or two stops darker than your subject because you want your subject to

pop against the background a lot more so keep that in mind you want the

background to be darker than your subject but how do you do that when your

light is filling up the room what I did I just grabbed some black wrap you can

just use tin foil or whatever you have cardboard everything will do you want to

wrap that around your light and you kind of want to beam that light down to hit your

subject and that was my key light so now that my light is nice and wrapped and

beamed against my subject I can focus on to my backlight the backlight in my

opinion is one of the most important lights when it comes to lighting

something or someone you can get away with not having a fill or not having a

key light as long as your backlight is strong enough sometimes you might see

DPs using a very strong backlight and maybe just using a little bounce board so

some sort of white or gray material to bounce some of the light back and that

is just done using one very strong backlight in this situation I was using

one of those IKEA lamps as my backlight and because the subject of this video

was the Gorillapod and the colors of the gorillapod are very dark I got away with

using a very strong and harsh very close kind of light so we didn't need any

diffusion it didn't need any bouncing it was just direct onto the subject and he

made it pop a lot more so now we have our key light coming from above and we

are our back light coming from 45 degrees behind the subject but we don't

have any background the background is kind of lost and we need that background

because when we do our parallax move we want to see the foreground which is our

gorillapod and the background moving against each other creating some sort of

3D effect

I happen to have some fairy lights lying

around the house so I just grabbed those used some crocodile clips and clamped

those against the curtain in my living room using those as the background I had

a choice to use white or red fairy lights but I went for red because the

Gorillapod I was filming add some red features within it and the red color in

the background in my opinion made it stand out a little bit more so now we

have our key light coming from above we have our backlight coming from that very

cheap IKEA lamp coming from behind and we have our background but still I am

almost happy with the way the picture looks but I'm not 100% happy because I

cannot read the Joby logo at the front so what we have to do now we grab that

second IKEA lamp we place that 45 degrees in front of the subject and we

shine it direct we don't want it to be as strong as the backlight as it's just

serving us as a fill so I move this slightly more distant than the backlight

was to the subject making it more diffused and a little bit more dimmed so

there you have it that's how I licked my latest video however keep in mind that

you don't have to have the exact same lights this is just to show you that you

can use whatever you have around the house and with some thinking you can

create something that looks very professional just in case you're

wondering that video was filmed with my 5d mark 4 no color grading applied

everything straight out of the camera which made my job a lot easier for

faster around I hope you enjoyed this video and if you did please consider

subscribing to my channel give me a thumbs up and maybe share this video

with your friends also let me know in the comments down below what do you

think about this video did you like my setup are you gonna use it yourself or

would you do things different maybe did I miss out something let me know in the

comments down below let's have a conversation that's it for today thank

you very much for watching and until next time ciao

Kim Kardashian Angling For Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Wedding Invite? - Duration: 4:24.

Kim Kardashian Angling For Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Wedding Invite?

Is Kim Kardashian really angling for an invite to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding? That's the latest claim coming from one of the tabloids, but Gossip Cop can set the record straight.

We're told it's "not true.".

According to Star, the "royalty-obsessed reality diva" is desperate to score an invite to the "social event of the century," Prince Harry and Markle's royal wedding at Windsor Castle in May.

A so-called "source" is quoted as telling the gossip magazine, "Kim is determined to be at Harry and Meghan's wedding.

She's doing everything in her power to [be there]." The outlet's questionable "insider" continues to claim that Prince Harry is a "big fan of Kanye's, so she's having her people reach out and offer to have Kanye sing at their reception, purely so she can be his plus-one!".

The publication's alleged "source" is further quoted as saying, "It's such a dream of Kim's to befriend a royal," before going on to purport that Kardashian is hoping the former "Suits" actress will be "open to a celeb-heavy reception.

" But Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Kardashian, who exclusively assures us the story is 100 percent "not true" and "ridiculous.

" The only remotely factual aspect of the entire article is that West and Prince Harry do know each other, but the reality star isn't trying to get her husband to perform at the royal wedding so she can be his "plus-one.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Gossip Cop has corrected an outlet for publishing a bogus report about Kardashian and the royal family, and it seems Star is following in its sister publications' footsteps.

Remember, in December we called out OK! when it falsely alleged Kardashian was trying to score an invite to Markle's wedding by sending her a pair of diamond earrings.

Additionally, inspired by OK!'s tall tale, Gossip Cop went on to bust the often discredited HollywoodLife for claiming to know that Markle is Kardashian's "dream BFF.

" In that phony narrative, the online publication untruthfully alleged that the reality star was "going all out to befriend" Prince Harry's bride-to-be, but the article was completely made-up.

Clearly, this manufactured angle surrounding Kardashian's supposed desire to strike up a friendship with Markle is popular among gossip outlets, but it's entirely unfounded.

Much like those inaccurate stories, this newest tale about Kardashian angling for an invite to Prince Harry and Markle's royal wedding is fabricated.

Amanda Reed Carter 2017 Distinguished Alumna Award for Young Career Achievement - Duration: 3:30.

I met Mandy in 2008 she was actually one of the students in my first cohort here

at SU and then she was a graduate of 2010 so I was a one of her primary

faculty members during those two years in the entry-level masters of athletic

training here at SU since that time she has been a preceptor to our students

during their clinical experiences and also a mentor some words or phrases that

best describe Mandy are honesty integrity commitment sincerity hard

working great personality commitment and her love for her family some of the

reasons why Mandy would be deserving of this award first the National Athletic

Trainers Association which is our representing body for athletic trainers

they recognize schools with an award called the safe sports school award this

award is a given over a three-year period for the recipients and it

recognizes those who have gone extra steps in order to improve the safety and

well-being of the student-athletes at that particular High School part of that

award is you can have a first or a second team award for those to achieve

first-team award you must not only have the requirements that they have but also

just the brief recommendations that they have and the list then goes on Mandy was

fortunate enough to where she has achieved first-team award not not once

but twice during just her seven-year career at

Liberty Bealeton and that is a significant achievement for any athletic

trainer now I've been doing this for a long for a long time now and it

sometimes it can become repetitive Mandy does not approach it that way each and

every person that comes in she is committed to making sure that she is

giving her very best to them so that they can then achieve the outcome and

goals that they want to achieve and that's a very special characteristic of

her and she while doing so she is going to make them feel very respected and

they're going to feel the sincerity that for what she delivers her care and that

is very special about her well the students speak so highly of her not only

of her ability to perform and provide athletic training care but just how much

she means to them and what a role model that she is

for each one of those students and she doesn't realize I believe the impact

that she has on those kids' lives and a lot of them say that hey we want to

become a healthcare professional maybe not an athletic trainer but we want to

be a healthcare professional and it is then [unintelligible] even more because of the

impact that she has made on their lives there was a time a couple years ago

during a spring sporting event that an opposing coach actually went down on the

field with the heart with a heart attack and Mandy was one to quick quickly

respond to that incident and that just shows one as an athletic trainer not

only responsible for those that you think that you are covering on your team

but for anyone else that may may be there on the field at that point in time

and Mandy was so quick to respond and she saved that man's life I'm pleased to

introduce the 2017 young career achievement award recipient Miss Amanda

Reed Carter

Reading: An Outlet for My Bipolar Emotions - Duration: 2:11.

Hey guys, it's Hannah.

One major outlet for me, especially during a depressive episode, is reading.

And this took me a really long time to learn.

After my diagnosis of bipolar 2 disorder, I was diagnosed with ADHD.

And reading, for me, has always been such a challenge because sitting there and trying

to focus like that was so difficult.

So I had to practice and practice.

And once I got into reading,

I found it to be one of the most helpful things for my bipolar disorder.

Someone commented on a video recently about having this connection to fictional characters.

I totally do.

And I don't think it's a bad thing.

It's a free, healthy place for our mind to wander.

Because when you live with bipolar disorder, you've got this imagination

and these vivid thoughts that can be so overwhelming.

And when you can distract your mind and focus on something else, it's so helpful.

So I just love to read anything, like I said.

I love Marilyn Monroe and reading about her story.

And mental health.

Fiction books.

Look at this, I just got so vintage from Etsy - Ernest Hemmingway,

who supposedly had a mental health condition.

It really inspires me.

It distracts my mind.

And I truly suggest it for anyone.

As difficult as it may be to focus, it's something to practice.

And definitely self-help books have really, really helped me.

I want to hear what you have to say.

Do you understand this connection to fictional characters?

Maybe while you're reading or what books are you reading?

Do you find it helpful?

Please leave me those in the comment section below.

And I will see you next week.

Bye.

Actors That Were Way Too Good For The Movie They Were In - Duration: 6:54.

Acting is a job, and like any job, there are days where you're just going through the motions

to get that sweet, sweet paycheck.

So whether it's actors who were slumming it for the money or just doing some work until

the next prestige project came along, we've got a look at some stars who were just too

good for their movies.

Michael Caine in Jaws: The Revenge

When he was asked to appear in the fourth installment of the once-proud Jaws franchise,

Roy Scheider is rumored to have said, quote, "Satan himself could not get me to do Jaws

Part 4."

Believe it or not, the actual premise of this movie is that a great white shark is exploiting

a completely unexplained psychic connection to Ellen Brody in order to get revenge for

the death of the shark in the original Jaws, hence the tagline: "this time, it's personal."

Michael Caine, who plays a character named Hoagie, missed out on receiving his Academy

Award for Best Supporting Actor in Hannah and Her Sisters — the first Oscar he actually

won after three nominations — because he was on location for reshoots to Jaws 4.

When asked about the film later, he had the right perspective on the whole thing: "I have

never seen it, but by all accounts it is terrible.

However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific."

Jeremy Irons in Dungeons & Dragons

Academy Award-winner Jeremy Irons is a natural villain, even when playing an animated lion

in a Disney movie for babies.

"Long live the king."

When he played Profion, the villainous wizard of the 2000 Dungeons & Dragons movie...well,

let's just say he rolled a Natural 1 on his Subtlety check.

Rather than attempting to bring all the fun stuff about the game to life, the people behind

the film ended up with a monumentally generic fantasy setting where the most likable character

was Marlon Wayans as a cowardly thief named "Snails."

But Irons doesn't let the material drag him down.

His performance is a master class in scenery-chewing.

"Let their blood rain from the sky!"

He's clearly having fun.

Even if the audience isn't.

Sir Ben Kingsley in Bloodrayne

In 1982, Sir Ben Kingsley starred in Gandhi, a film that was nominated for 11 Academy Awards

and won eight, including Best Actor for Kingsley.

Twenty-three years later, Kingsley joined a cast that included Billy Zane and Meat Loaf

for BloodRayne, the film adaptation of a video game that isn't even the fifth best movie

about a half-vampire.

It's another fine entry in the canon of Uwe Boll, the director responsible for a string

of notoriously terrible video game flicks that were essentially made to exploit a loophole

in German tax law.

That said, Kingsley doesn't exactly help matters.

While he's clearly capable of much more, he plays the villain of the film as cold and

emotionless —

"With the talisman joined, vampires shall rule the Earth."

— which is a nice way of saying that it seems like everything he says is read from

a script he's seeing for the first time.

William Marshall in Blacula

William Marshall was a classically trained Shakespearean actor who was once hailed by

the London Sunday Times as "the best Othello of our time."

Unfortunately, he's far more famous for playing the title role in 1972's Blacula and

its amazingly titled sequel, Scream Blacula Scream.

"You shall be…

Blacula!"

"Blacula!"

Now, make no mistake: Blacula is actually a pretty awesome movie, and even stands as

one of the first horror movies to star a black actor in the lead role.

Marshall's performance as Mamuwalde — an African prince who strikes a deal with Dracula

and ends up as a vampire himself — is downright commanding.

Marshall reportedly insisted that the character be written with dignity rather than as a bumbling

punchline.

It was even commercially successful, riding the early '70s Blaxploitation movement to

become one of 1972's highest-grossing films.

That said, it's still a movie in which his performance is elevating the material, rather

than the other way around.

Cate Blanchett in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Well, this is embarrassing.

It looks like someone made a mistake in the notes for this video and accidentally wrote

that there was a fourth Indiana Jones movie where Indy fights aliens and has a son played

by Shia LaBeouf, even though we're pretty sure there were only three movies in that

series.

If, however, there was a fourth Indiana Jones movie, then Cate Blanchett would've definitely

been too good for it, especially if was released in 2008, well after Blanchett had won an Academy

Award for Best Actress.

Then again, everyone in such a movie would've been slumming it, which is probably why it

definitely never happened.

Ever.

Bob Hoskins in Super Mario Bros.

Super Mario Bros. should've worked, and Bob Hoskins is almost perfect for the part of

Mario.

Admittedly, he's not Italian, and like any actor, he was probably very nervous about

stepping into the role so brilliantly defined by "Captain" Lou Albano.

"Time for a new day."

Hoskins' performance in Who Framed Roger Rabbit is brilliant, and If he can pull that

off, then pretending to stomp on Koopa Troopas should be a piece of cake, right?

Unfortunately, that's not what happened.

Mario Bros. is a pretty difficult story to screw up, but the filmmakers somehow managed

to drop the ball so hard that it registered on the Richter scale.

Instead of a fun romp, it's an incomprehensible modern dystopia, full of terrifying nightmare

monsters.

And also Dennis Hopper in a mud bath for some reason.

"Do you know what I love about mud?

It's clean, it's dirty at the same time."

Raul Julia in Street Fighter

Street Fighter might not be a "good" movie in the traditional sense, but it's also ridiculously

fun.

And Raul Julia's genuinely amazing portrayal of M. Bison is responsible for about 99 percent

of that.

"For I beheld Satan as he fell from heaven!!"

Saying he's going over the top with his performance doesn't quite cover it, because that implies

that he's somehow going beyond what the material demands.

That's not what's happening here at all.

The movie's version of Bison is the kind of megalomaniac who has an entire financial plan

based on printing up his own money and then kidnapping the Queen of England in order to

set up the exchange rate.

Sadly, Street Fighter was also Julia's last movie, a part he took despite suffering from

stomach cancer because his children were fans of the game.

But while his death at the height of his career is truly tragic, Julia's performance is beautifully,

unironically fantastic.

For fans of schlock, it's one of the most fun, self-aware, and endlessly quotable performances

ever to grace a goofy video game adaptation.

But for Raul Julia…

"It was Tuesday."

Sir Patrick Stewart in The Emoji Movie

Finally, there's this.

You had to know this was coming.

Sir Patrick Stewart, legendary Shakespearean actor, famous for bringing Captain Jean-Luc

Picard and Professor X, to life, ...star of stage and screen, patron saint of pop culture,

and all around super-talented guy…

literally plays a talking pile of poop in a movie about emojis.

"This is such a load of…"

"No, go ahead.

Finish that sentence."

There's literally nothing to add to that.

Reach Out for Bell Let's Talk Day - Senator Denise Batters - Duration: 1:44.

Today is Bell Let's Talk Day.

This event has raised more than $100 million

to fund mental health initiatives across Canada.

One in four Canadians struggle with mental illness,

and even more act as caregivers for their partners,

family members and friends who suffer with mental health issues.

Unfortunately, I have firsthand experience.

My own husband, former Member of Parliament Dave Batters,

struggled with anxiety and depression.

At that time, in 2008, the stigma around mental illness and suicide was even more pronounced than it is now,

and Dave had courageously decided to make his struggle public

in order to raise awareness around mental health issues.

Tragically, Dave died by suicide in 2009,

days before his 40th birthday.

In the wake of that grief and sadness,

I committed that I would carry on Dave's cause

and help other families struggling with these same issues.

It is so important to reach out,

whether you are someone struggling with mental illness issues,

or whether you see someone you care about suffering.

It can be as simple as a sincere, "How are you?"

or letting a friend know you are thinking of them

and available to them if they want to talk.

Sometimes, it might mean asking someone you are worried about

whether they might be considering harming themselves or ending their own life.

You have to ask –

it seems difficult and awkward, but believe me,

you're not asking them anything they haven't thought about before.

And it just might save a life.

Communication and connection to other people

is at the heart of healing mental illness.

I encourage you all to use Bell's Let's Talk Day

not only to raise awareness and money for the cause of mental health,

but as a means of true connection and healing.

Thank you.
