Waching daily Jan 31 2018

I guess a personal goal for 2018 would be to beat SK in a Bo3 in LAN.

It's not just saying that because we play them next, it's because I've only beat them

as best of one in LAN, and best of three is more prestigious in my opinion.

That's a goal.

Also winning a major of course, that's also a goal.

The obvious one would be Quantum Bellator making it to legends stage.

I mean, making it to the major itself was an upset, so to make the legends stage is

a super upset.

I also think it was kind of sad that Astralis didn't make it through, because they're a

solid team that can always put up a good fight for top teams, so the fact that they didn't

make it through kind of sucks.

I think it's a mix of both.

I always strive to make sure I don't make the same mistake twice.

Obviously it's impossible to that, but if I make a mistake, or I do something wrong,

I make sure that the next time I play I try not to do the same thing, and I did that for

however many years.

And I think it's important for me to have a defined team in terms of roles, like when

I was on OpTic with stanislaw we had really defined roles.

We had an IGL, set IGL, set AWPer, set lurker, everything.

So I was really comfortable with where I was at, and then when stanislaw left we had no

set IGL, and the roles got all messed up, like Mixwell stopped AWPing at one point.

It was really hard for me to find my place, and that's when I had a streak of not playing

well, but the whole team was pretty bad at that point.

But that was granted because we didn't have an IGL.

But the point is that, on Cloud9, the roles are really, really set in stone and defined,

and I am really comfortable with the way it is.

I think a player like Xyp9x would be good for me.

I don't think he would ever leave Astralis, but the point is that he's a solid CT player.

I think I'm similar in that.

He's also a pretty rock solid T player, he's not really a flashy player, but he makes not

many mistakes and I feel like I'm sort of similar to that.

I would say right now there's an unspoken rivalry between us.

I think most of us are friends though, outside of the game.

So it's not like we despise each other.

Even in-game I feel like we joke around, but I think there is a rivalry for sure in the

making.

The opportunity to climb the ranks into Rank S and get noticed is definitely there.

That's the whole point of it, for players to grind in pugs and get noticed by pro players.

But I think the way that the game is played in Rank S, and the way that the environment

is it's harder for players to get better and show their true skill, because there hasn't

been many players that have been in Rank S that have actually gone to a pro team recently.

So I think right now it's kind of rare, but the opportunity is definitely there.

I think NA has been on the rise the last few years because of teams like SK and Immortals

coming to NA.

They bring a lot of good practice, and I think it brings motivation as well to see them,

even though they're playing in the NA scene, they're winning tournaments, being at the

top of the world.

I think seeing that helped a lot, and like I said, practicing versus them is also huge.

Cloud9 is good to play for because they have all the fans basically, and the org itself

is huge.

It kind of reminds me of OpTic, but I think we have more CS fans here on Cloud9, so I'm

really happy for that.

I learned on OpTic my true potential as a player, I think.

I learned that I can play with the best at any moment and win a game at any moment as

well for us, whether it be—because obviously, like I said, it's important to have the IGL

aspect—so I think having an IGL that knows how to direct me

is important.

Gordon Wilson Supports Todd Stone for Leader - Duration: 3:53.

In the next few days those of us who are eligible to vote in the BC leadership

are going to select our new leader

- this is a critical choice.

During the campaign,

six excellent candidates have travelled this province, each for their own perspective,

each were their own ideals about issues that are important to British Columbians.

So, now it's up to us to choose who's going to captain our team.

And I think one candidate stands out above the others

and that is Todd Stone.

There have only been two leaders of our party, the BC Liberal Party since 1991

when I led the party to a historic breakthrough.

By contrast the NDP have

had eight leaders elected and tossed out.

What that tells us is that we choose our leaders carefully.

We consider all the factors about what makes the best person

to lead us and therefore lead our problems.

Our opponents try to divide us,

they'll frequently try to stick labels on us, using federal labels -

Conservative, Liberal.

We know better, since 1991 the BC Liberal Party has been an independent party

free of any direct or strict adherence to federal politics.

We are a coalition of British Columbians interested in building the strongest

economy possible for British Columbians, so that all British Columbians

can benefit and succeed through the policies that we introduce.

The British Columbia Liberal Party makes welcome people from every race, colour, creed,

language and religion - we make no distinctions.

But it didn't happen by accident, it happened because people who shared

our beliefs were prepared to roll up their sleeves and get on a bus or get in

a car and travel to neighbourhoods and talk to British Columbians and listen to

the issues that are of concern to them, to you, to the people of British Columbia.

And that provided a unique perspective on what it was that was important,

what it is that is important to you in British Columbia.

There is only one candidate who fits this bill and that's Todd Stone.

These are special people, people who were prepared to go out and work hard.

Even when the prospect of forming government was not there -

and Todd was among them.

In 91' when we were building something that we believe would be

special in British Columbia Todd put in endless hours with virtually no reward potential.

And as he has ascended from the ranks of the anonymous to an

outstanding MLA, a minister of the Government of British Columbia.

He's developed a unique perspective in being able to understand, fully understand,

both urban and rural British Columbians and what their needs are.

That's why Todd Stone is going to get my vote.

We in British Columbia have an opportunity to

select a leader that is going to take us to the next generation.

And I believe that Todd stone is that leader.

Many of you have told me you're committed on a first ballot.

But that opens the door to a very strong second ballot showing

and a potential victory for Todd Stone.

I hope you'll join me. I'll hope you join with us

in building this Province. Because the people of British Columbia

are counting on us to make a sound choice, so that we can earn their trust

and with it Government, and by doing so take us to a new future. Thanks

It's time for... a vlogbreak! | Important to watch!!! - Duration: 8:47.

it is Wednesday and a new week

normally on Wednesdays I don't do other things than training and filming a bit

but today I didn't

It's January 31

Tomorrow is February 1

and the Olympic Games period starts tonorrow

that means..

I am not allowed to do comercial things

I can't tag sponsors and I'm not allowed to wear clothes with sponsorlogos

This means that we don't actually know what to do with the vlog

I had hoped that I could film the olympics and vlog in South Korea

so that I could tell about the races, my feelings and all that other stuff

as it looks right now, I'm not allowed to do any of that stuff

I can't even take a mystory of the stadium...

it is very strict requirements

so I guess you understand that to film a vlog is illegal

we have tried to find a way to vlog and we have been doing some disgussions as well

and we have to follow this rules

we have to do something else with the vlog

we probably have to shut down the vlog for a month

and that means that it will be a February without a single vlog

I had hoped that I could film in the Olympics

I think the Olympics will be a good experience

I have never competed in the Olympics before so I think it will be exciting

and I think I will get a lot of new experiences that I can use later in my life as well

and a lot of people will probably watch too

It will be another experience that I've never tried

I would love to have the vlog with me

but I can't do it this time

I think I'll just use this video to tell about my thoughts and plans before the Olympics

the plan is to compete at the 30km on Sunday 11th February

I'm traveling the 5th of February. In only 5 days

then we are traveling to Oslo, before we go to Helsinki and from helsinki to Soul

before we go all the way to Pyeongchang

it will be a long traveling day that Monday and Tuesday

And that also means that I will have just a couple of days there before the first race.

And it is sprint the 13th and so four days break before a team sprint and 50 kilometer.

If everything goes according to plan I want to go as many distances as possible

and it looks like I'm doing 5 distances, but I dont know that yet.

but is is primarily the two first and then we will do another evaluation

but it is going to be really cool and im starting to get ready for takeoff!

and I really think this will be a really cool experience for me

and im ready to give it all I got in five races, if thats what it takes, which im hoping to do.

and im hoping if im allowed or manage to do so, we're going to take some sneak pictures and videos.

from the hotel room, and before and after the races, if it is allowed.

but if not, im going to tell you all about it when the olympics are over.

but it is no doubt that I'm coming with a summary of how the days have been there, and what they have meant to me.

it's nothing else to say that I'm traveling to the Olympics with a smile and it's sad that the vlog can't join me

I hope you forgive me

but the rules are set and I can't film

can we find another opportunity?

maybe?

The opportinity is not that I can vlog but...

I have talked with Ola and we have checked for any other ways to film the vlog.

and we have decided that it's very bad if we have to shut down the vlog for a month

we have been vlogging for over one year and so far we have managed to drop a new vlog every single week

and of course we will keep doing that

even tho I'm in OL, we'll still post vlogs!

but it will be a vlog-takeover by Ola

he'll film, edit, translate and do all the vlog by himself

everything in his own way

I'm looking forward to watch the B-rolls he'll make, and maybe it will be cooler than my B-rolls

he is going the nowegian xc-cup for juniors, concert and other things

he will be the main person in the vlog

and I think he will talk about me beeing in OL

I think he has some meanings about it

and maybe he is allowed to film that he's watching on the TV, but we don't know if we're allowed to do that

he's taking over the vlog

it's not only for one week but in case it will be for 3-4 weeks

that's one month!

with Ola both behind and in front of the camera

it will be a lot of work for him

you have to work

I think it will be good

and Ola is talented

but I think the vlog will be a bit different

We'll try to put in a few clips of me as well

but it's 4 weeks with Ola vlog

I hope you like it

and I really hope the subscribers and viewers are still staying at our channel

don't break his heart!

we hope you still wanna watch the vlog

we really appreciate every single one of you

there is a reason why we use a lot of time to read about rules and stuff

and check what we are allowed to film

but in the Olympics the rules are so strict that we don't risk that

Ola is the boss from now

forgive him if the vlog will be a bit different and "bad edited"

blame him if it's bad because I "always edit the vlogs"

hahahaha

you're bad at editing Johannes... hahaha

give him a few attempts

he probably use some time

I think it will be good that he's taking over

I'm looking forward to see how he does in the Norwegian xc-cup for juniors

I think he will film a lot of B-roll footage, cool clips, droneclips, and a few timelapses.

you just have to watch it and I'm sure it will be good

I don't have anything more to say then

I'm traveling to the Olympics and I'm excited

I hope you have a good February

I hope it will be good for me too

I'll be back stronger when the Olympics are over.

good luck in the Olympics then!

thanks!

I see you in March

Aubameyang APOLOGISES for 'crazy kid' antics hours after signing for Arsenal - Duration: 3:51.

Aubameyang APOLOGISES for 'crazy kid' antics hours after signing for Arsenal

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc paid tribute to Aubameyang today but admitted that recent weeks with the new Arsenal striker had been 'unpleasant'.

Aubameyang was dropped for disciplinary reasons earlier this month and was booked by Dortmund fans when he returned to the side in a 2-2 draw with Freiburg.

Aubameyang's move was announced just after 11am today and the striker moved to calm the waters after switching to the Emirates.   He wrote on Instagram: "First of all sorry for everything that happened in the last month.

But I wanted to change last summer, it did not work, but now it had to be.

"Maybe it was not the best way I chose, but everyone knows that Auba is crazy - and yes, I'm a crazy kid, hahahaha! I've made mistakes, but never with malice.

"I will never forget these four and a half years at Borussia Dortmund, because you all gave me the strength for the level I am now.

"Thanks to the whole BVB family, the fans, the club, the staff and of course my teammates! Your Auba17."   The 28-year-old, who scored 98 goals in 144 Bundesliga games for Dortmund, is a replacement for Alexis Sanchez following his switch to Manchester United.

But Aubameyang has set his sights higher than stepping into the Chileans boots - he wants to emulate record Gunners goalscorer Henry.

I think the club has such a big history and great players like Thierry Henry, he told Arsenal Player.   Hes an example for us strikers because he was fast and scored a lot of goals.

I think I have to work a lot to be like him, but I will do. Im a fast player and I score goals too, like Henry a little bit.

But as I said, I have to work a lot more.   PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG IN NUMBERS 141 - Goals for Borussia Dortmund in 213 appearances across all competitions following his move to Germany from French club St Etienne in July 2013.

56 - Caps for Gabon, with Aubameyang named African Footballer of the Year for 2015.   31 - Bundesliga goals in the 2016/17 season, which made Aubameyang the leading scorer in the German top flight.

23 - International goals.   21 - Goals so far this season for Dortmund, in all competitions.

6 - Champions League appearances in this seasons group stage.   4 - Goals in the Champions League this season - including one against Tottenham at the Westfalenstadion and two in the 3-2 defeat at Real Madrid.

1 - Trophies won at Dortmund - the DFB-Pokal, Germanys national cup competition, in 2017.

Katie Novak on a Blueprint for Personalized Learning - Duration: 0:59.

We hear a lot about personalized learning today

like it's some new initiative in education,

but the question is: how are you going to personalize learning?

and Universal Design for Learning provides us with two decades of research

that will show us exactly how to do it,

and to do it in a way that will activate all the networks of the brain

and so that everyone knows this is not a new initiative.

This is best practice, this is expert learning.

And UDL can show you how to do it.

So, as a contractor you would not build a house without a blueprint,

and as a chef you would not cook a meal without a recipe.

And if you're trying to personalize learning as a school or an educator

you cannot do that without a research based framework.

And Universal Design for Learning is that framework

that will allow all educators to personalize learning for students.

Mod3 6 4 1 Adjusting for Prepaids - Duration: 3:05.

Alright.

Let's talk about deferred expenses.

Basically, the idea is that a company pays for something in advance and initially records

it as an asset, because they haven't gotten the service yet.

They haven't used the services of someone.

So, the amounts paid for in advance are initially recorded as an asset

and you wait to expense them.

You'll expense them when you do finally get the service.

Okay?

So, we'll go through this example.

We have, on April 1, Par for the Course paid $900

for six months of insurance beginning on April 1.

So, on April 1, the entry that was made is they got an asset

called "Prepaid Insurance" for $900.

And, then, what they gave was cash for $900.

So, they would debit prepaid insurance and credit cash.

Now, you'll see here this is $750, because what I'm showing you here is May 1,

or April 30th balances.

If you think about it, back in April, they used some of that prepaid insurance.

They got insurance coverage for the month of April.

So, this $900 covers six months.

So, every month, it's $150 of service that they consume.

So, the prepaid insurance will come down by $150, or get reduced by $150

every month when you make adjusting entries.

So, now, we're going to do May's.

So, the adjusting entry for May, what you're going to debit, is insurance expense.

And, that's the amount that you've consumed during that period.

That's the coverage of insurance you got.

You're not crediting cash, because you paid for this before already.

What you'll be giving up, what you'll give, is some of this asset up.

The posting to ledger, the T accounts, you'll have $150 to insurance and you'll credit prepaid

insurance for $150 leaving us with a $600 balance.

And, then the insurance expense is the amount used of $150.

So, as we have seen before, this will tell us how much was used.

It tells us nothing about what was paid.

In fact, there will be nothing on the Statement of Cash Flows.

If I had shown you the cash account here, you'd see no credit to cash in the month of

May, because that credit to cash for $900 was booked back in April.

Alright.

So, the balance sheet's going to explain this difference.

It's going to say, "You know, okay.

You used $150, you paid nothing, but that's because you had paid for amounts in advance."

This $600 is four months left of use

that will be adjusted each month as you get the service.

So, this is another example of the Expense Recognition Principle.

You don't record the expense until you get the service.

It doesn't matter whether cash went out or not.

Is Propane Better Than Oil For Space Heating? - Duration: 0:51.

[Intro music]

[Builder:] Call me old fashioned, but I've been using heating oil to power the homes that I build

as long as I've been in business.

My customers don't see the need to change, and neither do I.

Why fix what isn't broken? [Buzzer]

[Risinger:] Heating oil's days as a competitive fuel for powering homes are numbered, and wise contractors

are helping their customers make the conversion to other power sources today.

I'm Matt Risinger, construction scientist.

For homes in areas where oil is common, propane can be an attractive solution.

Unlike oil, propane is a lightweight and clean-burning fuel that can be stored in an on-site tank

outside of the home, which can be safely buried to hide it from view.

You can't do that with oil.

Michy Batshuayi posts HILARIOUS message after leaving Chelsea for Borussia Dortmund - Duration: 1:56.

Michy Batshuayi posts HILARIOUS message after leaving Chelsea for Borussia Dortmund

The Chelsea forward has left Stamford Bridge on a loan deal until the end of the season. The move has been sanctioned by the Blues after they captured Olivier Giroud from Arsenal, who in turn signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang earlier this afternoon.

Dortmunds sale of their star striker has left a void in attack which Batshuayi is keen to fill. And the 24-year-old, who is known for his hilarious social media posts, took to Twitter to speak about his move to the Bundesliga.

"Heard the Batman job was vacant @BVB so I decided to take over" Michy Batshuayi Batshuayi tweeted: Heard the Batman job was vacant @BVB so I decided to take over. The Belgian then tried his hand at some German.

Bundesliga wie gent es dir?! he added, which translates to, Bundesliga how are you? Aubameyang is famously known for his batman masks, which he would don after finding the net for the German side.

Dortmund have also welcomed Batshuayi to the club. Peter Stogers side have been training this afternoon and the striker has already taken part in a session with his new team-mates.

Batshuayi later posted a message thanking Chelseas supporters. So much love, thx for the kind messages. Wishing u guys the best for the rest of the season, he tweeted.
