Hello again. Eric Coy, *your* productivity expert. Here with today's Productivity

Power-up. I'm finishing up my series on SMART goals, and today we're going to

discuss the fifth attribute: Is it Time-bound? Now, if you defined your goal for a

resolution, then the time is probably going to default to about a year.

However, goals can be as short or as long as you want them. Now, you have to be

careful with the time. If the time is too short, you start wondering about

attribute three: Is it attainable? Can you realistically achieve that goal in the

time you've said? And if the time is too long, now we may be dealing with, Is it

still relevant? So, make sure you are setting the time appropriately.

Additionally, you need to break up periodically and have some milestones

defined within that time range, so that you can then go back and check the

measurements you defined in attribute two, the success criteria, and compare them to

the baselines you already have the measurements of, so that you can see if

you are making progress or do you need to take some corrective action. So that's

it folks, SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound.

And I'll direct you once again to the document on my website, www.MindThaw.com,

from the University of California's Office of the President, that goes into a

very deep explanation and worksheet of SMART goals. And I'd also ask you, while

you're here, go ahead and subscribe to this YouTube channel if you haven't

already done so!

What Are SMART Goals? 2) Is the Goal Measurable? (3/6) - Duration: 1:33.

Hello! Eric Coy, *your* productivity expert. Here with today's Productivity Power-up.

Continuing my series on SMART goals, the second attribute I want to cover is, Is

it Measurable? Now, as one of the executives at my old company used to say,

"You can't manage what you can't measure." So, as you're defining your goal, you'll

need to define some success [stutter] criteria -- that way you can be able to

measure progress toward your goal. Additionally, if you're going to measure

something towards a goal, that means you need to have a baseline defined so that

you can have something to compare your progress to -- to see if you are actually

making progress or if you need to take some corrective action. Now, you can

define both qualitative and quantitative success criteria. However, it's highly

recommended that you define the qualitative criteria in correlation to

something that is quantitative so that you can have some hard and fast data. If

you want to know more about SMART goals, please check out the document from the

University of California's office of the President on my website,

www.MindThaw.com; and also, don't forget to subscribe to this YouTube channel if

you haven't already done so!

What is a Domain Name? - Websites 101 - Duration: 4:39.

okay so you want to build a website but you have to choose a domain name what

are you gonna call your website or your online presence but what even is a

domain name right so in this video I'm going to take it back to the basics and

we're gonna talk about what is a domain name stay tuned

welcome back I'm Chris Heidlebaugh and I teach digital marketing to diyers so

on this channel I talk about domain names and SEO and web design and

everything in between so if I provide you with value would you please consider

subscribing to this channel all you have to do is underneath this video hit the

little subscribe icon you'll also have the opportunity to ring a little bell

and so that way you can get notifications when I make a new video

you can always leave me a thumbs up and things like that but also at the end of

this video if you watch it all the way through there's actually a little circle

of me you've just punched me right in the nose and you can subscribe that way

too so in this video we're talking about what is a domain name so a domain name

is what you're gonna call your website you know what are you gonna tell people

to visit okay so maybe like me like my name is Chris haidle bah and because my

ideas and things might change in the future but I wanted to have something

that's about me you know and I've had problems with this myself like do I go

by this name my last name is hard to pronounce so I'm like do I go by this

person that person do I do a fake name or whatever I'm like I'm just gonna be

me and and roll the dice on okay but it's one of those things where if you

have hard to pronounce name you might decide to go with something else if you

have a hard to pronounce business or maybe a domain names taken already you

might be trying to struggle a basically domain name is something that you're

going to tell somebody that they're gonna you know remember that they're

gonna visit your website about okay so I tell people like say you're an elevator

and somebody has some cool artwork you know they're like tatted up okay so you

got cool tattoos they look awesome and you're like oh man you know I mean I'd

love to get your business card and people are like hey we don't do business

cards anymore we do websites you know and you're like oh okay what do I visit

they say well it's you know tattoo R Us calm there might be somebody out there

like that the way I'm not sure but you know I mean so they say hey visit us a

tattoo are us calm and you're like okay great I can

or that okay and so that's what you're trying to think of when you're thinking

about domain name is it gonna be are you are you your own business okay

are you a solopreneur do you own a bigger business so do you want to not be

the person do you want the business to be the domain name okay so if you're you

know ABC plumbing or whatever is that what you want your website to be okay so

you got to kind of think about different names but it gets complicated because

imagine how many businesses how many people out there in the world somebody

else may already have your name and now you can't get it and so in another video

I'm going to talk about how to choose a domain name and I'll put a description

or in the descriptions video I'll give a link to that video but also you can

watch this playlist and I'll touch on but that you know - it's one of those

things where you know just because you might have a great idea somebody else

might have already have it you know may have already have it - well I like to

look at a domain name like a piece of land okay and you want to build your

house meaning your website and everything on top is piece of land but

if somebody buys that piece of land and you can't buy you can't build on top of

their house and things like that - right so it's one of those things you got a

look at a domain name like a piece of land and it's very important if you have

a great idea to get that piece of land as soon as you can so to answer the

question what is the domain name the domain name is what you're gonna tell

somebody to visit your website again like for me Chris Heidelberg com it's me

it's my website my ideas my opinions things like that people can visit it

okay didn't go to Chris Heidelberg calm okay

look at Facebook okay facebook.com that's their domain name so if Mark

Zuckerberg was in a you know elevator with some minor like a what do you do

like oh I just run a you know business you know and they're like okay well

what's your you know do you have a business card he's like I don't do

business cards okay well how do I get to your website to learn more about you oh

just visit facebook.com I'm sure as you probably something different you know

but you know me so if you you know do something you know you would tell

somebody to visit this domain name to visit website so hopefully that helps

and if you have any questions about domain names please don't hesitate to

leave it in the comments section of this video and again don't forget to

subscribe it means so much to me you can hit my little face icon and go ahead and

subscribe it means so much to me especially if I provide you with value

but no matter what I hope that you find success online offline and in your life

take care

What Are SMART Goals? 1) Is the Goal Specific? (2/6) - Duration: 1:29.

Howdy! Eric Coy, *your* productivity expert. Here with today's Productivity Power-up.

Continuing the video series on SMART goals, I want to start with the first

attribute of a SMART goal: Is it Specific? Is your goal defined in a general,

nebulous manner; or is it defined with details that you can see, hear, touch,

taste, feel, smell? The more detailed and the more Specific your goal is, the

greater chance of achieving it because you can already visualize yourself

having achieved it. For example, is your goal of a nature like, "I want to raise

the employee satisfaction"? Or is it defined in terms of, "I want to increase

employee satisfaction by five points come the next employee satisfaction

survey, and I want to be able to use both monetary and [stutter] non-monetary

rewards"? Now see, that last goal is much more Specific and has a greater chance

of being achieved.

Gary Goldsmith is pictured near his home with wife | news 24h - Duration: 6:06.

Duchess of Cambridge's uncle Gary Goldsmith is pictured near his home with wife he punched to the ground after row in a taxi

Gary Goldsmith's fourth wife looked downcast as she ventured out with him near their home in London's Marylebone.

Most women who had been punched to the floor by their husband would have given them their marching orders — but Gary Goldsmith's wife, Julie-Ann, is more forgiving.

The 47-year-old is back living with the Duchess of Cambridge's uncle, 52, who was fined £5,000 last November and ordered to do a year of rehabilitation by a magistrate who called him a 'nasty drunk' after Julie-Ann was left briefly unconscious.

Goldsmith's fourth wife looked downcast as she ventured out with him near their home in London's Marylebone.

He grew up in a council house in Southall with Kate's mother Carole, his elder sister, before making £17million when he sold his shares in an IT recruitment company.

Goldsmith assaulted Julie-Ann outside their home following an argument in a taxi in which she had accused him of taking drugs and of not paying her enough attention.

The couple went to a charity auction before Mrs Goldsmith (left) was hit. They were pictured in this image posted on social media shortly before the incident.

DARKEST HOUR DIRECTOR OBEYS ROYAL COMMAND. The Queen took Joe Wrights Darkest Hour to Sandringham to watch over the Christmas break after he personally dropped a copy in . The Queen doesn't have to queue to watch the latest movie blockbuster.

I'm told that director Joe Wright personally dropped in a copy of his film Darkest Hour, the well-received biopic of Her Majesty's first prime minister, Sir Winston Churchill, after a request from Buckingham Palace.

The Queen took it to Sandringham to watch over the Christmas break. If there's one person who can judge if Gary Oldman turns in an Oscarwinning performance it is the monarch herself.

After all, she first met Churchill at Balmoral in 1928 when she was just two, and was always fond of the old war horse.

Asked, 30 years into her reign, which PM was her favourite, she said: 'Winston, of course, because it was always such fun.

Prince Harrys friend Charlie Gilkes has just celebrated the birth of his first child, begging the question - will babies be invited to the wedding?.

Will babies be welcome at the royal wedding? I ask only because Prince Harry's nightclub-owning chum Charlie Gilkes and his wife, Anneke, are celebrating the birth of their first child.

'He's a gorgeous little boy they've called Freddie,' one of their friends tells me. Harry and Princess Eugenie attended the 2014 wedding in Italy of Charlie, who owns London venues including Maggie's, Bunga Bunga and Mr Fogg's. .

Charlie's elder brother, Alexander, was married to Misha Nonoo, the American fashion designer and best friend of Meghan Markle.

The curtain  has fallen on one of theatreland's most spectacular feuds. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Patti LuPone hadn't spoken to each other since the composer fired the American actress from his Broadway production of Sunset Boulevard in 1994.

But, last night, LuPone sang Don't Cry For Me Argentina from the Lloyd Webber musical Evita at the Grammy awards.

'Hello, Andrew,' the diva said at a rehearsal. Turning to others in the room, she added: 'This is détente, ladies and gentlemen.' The pair then embraced.

LuPone sued Lord Lloyd-Webber after he replaced her with Glenn Close as Norma Desmond. She won what was reportedly a $1 million settlement and used it to install a swimming pool at her home.

She called it the Andrew Lloyd Webber Memorial Pool.

What Are SMART Goals? 4) Is the Goal Relevant? (5/6) - Duration: 1:15.

Hello again! Eric Coy, *your* productivity expert. Here with today's Productivity

Power-up. I'm continuing my series on SMART goals, and today, I want to discuss

attribute number four: Is it Relevant? Now, relevance means is it linked to some

other strategic, or corporate, or even some other personal goal? Or is this a

one-off goal? Not that a one-off goal is bad; however, you have a greater chance of

achieving the goal if it is linked to something else that is also of

importance. So, look and see how you can make this goal tie into something else

that is also important to you -- or to your company. For more information on SMART

goals, check out the document on my website --

under Resources -- from The University of California's Office of the President. And

What Are SMART Goals? 3) Is the Goal Attainable? (4/6) - Duration: 1:19.

Greetings, everyone! Eric Coy, *your* productivity expert. Here with today's

Productivity Power-up. Continuing my series on SMART goals, today I want to

discuss attribute number three: Is it Attainable? Do you have all the resources

to realistically achieve your goal? If not, then you're just setting yourself up

for failure and not for success. So, do you have all the time, money, people,

skills and other resources and attributes necessary to achieve this

goal? If you don't, then perhaps this goal should be tabled; and maybe you need to

create a goal that concerns obtaining the necessary resources, and then come

back to the original goal. If you want to check out the other details of SMART

goals, look at the document on my website from the University of California - Office

of the President, under Resources. And that website is www.MindThaw.com. And I'd really

appreciate it if you'd go ahead and subscribe to this YouTube channel!
