Whether you're in need of bill money or just some consistent cash to contribute to those
college savings funds, today we're going to be talking about some great jobs for stay-at-home
moms.

Before going after that remote job, you need to be honest with yourself about your schedule
and your energy bank.
Your schedule will be dictated by your children's schedule, by doctor's appointments, nap times,
your partner's schedule, and other factors.
Now, understanding your personal schedule will allow you to know what hours you may
be available for your work at home job and whether those hours are late at night, early
morning, or mid afternoon.
Evaluating your energy bank is a little bit harder since you're trying to figure out how
much focus and brain power you really have left over to dedicate to paying work.
If you don't have much, you might want to look for a job that's easier and more repetitive
tasks.
If your energy levels are pretty steady, even under new mom stress, look for something invigorating,
something challenging.
Now, let's get into some of those work at home job ideas, especially those that don't
mind if you have crying kids in the background.
Yardi Matrix is a seasonal temporary job.
When this job is available, it's a great work at home job for moms.
Your job is to call apartment complexes or rental listings to collect information and
then report back to the company.
Now, because you want to sound like a person that's actually looking to rent those places,
background noises and distractions are allowed and sometimes even appreciated because they
make you appear more like a legitimate caller.
Freelancing is another at home gig that I love to recommend to moms.
Freelancers provide some sort of service that they will perform remotely and online.
Freelance jobs can include everything from web design to bookkeeping, writing, social
media management, and even virtual assisting.
Even if you don't think that you have marketable skills, you probably do.
Plus, you can learn almost anything online today.
Most freelancing positions do not require a formal degree.
Just some type of online training is going to work in most cases.
If there's a subject that interests you, say Facebook ads, or marketing on Pinterest, podcast
production, these are all things that you can learn online and specialize in that area.
You can even freelance as a customer service representative to other online entrepreneurs.
Now, whether you are the maker of physical goods or someone who's more into writing books
and creating digital downloads, you can sell your wares online.
Sites like Etsy and Ebay are great for selling physical goods, and Amazon is the go-to site
for self publishing and selling your own books.
You can even sell digital goods on your own website or on sites like Etsy or even ClickBank.
Now, if making stuff by hand really isn't your kind of thing, you might want to consider
transcription.
As a transcriptionist, you can strike out on your own and solicit transcription services
as a freelancer or you might want to go to work for a company like Rev.com or CastingWords.
If you have medical knowledge, you may be interested in becoming a medical transcriptionist
or a medical transcription editor, and you can get training for that at an online site
called Career Step.
Now, these are but a few examples of all of the possibilities out there for you to create
an income from home with little ones in tow.
I didn't even touch on becoming a consultant or starting your own direct selling business.
Still, you should have plenty of ideas now and feel a little less overwhelmed about finding
a remote job.
