Waching daily Jan 26 2018

I've always been overweight, I've always had an unhealthy relationship with food

I could never remember a time where I've actually felt really good about my body

or about myself, something I've always lived with.

I've actively always tried to lose weight

but never succeeded or followed it through.

My doctor surgery closed so they told us we had to go to a new doctors.

With being a man I don't think I've been to a doctor for years

and they said 'we'll refer you to a Slimming World program'

and straightaway I was like 'no, I don't think so'

but then the wife and mother in law joined on a Tuesday

and then by the Saturday I'd eaten all the food she had cooked and prepared

which was all Slimming World and I thought it was alright

but then after weighing Id lost 10lbs.

So I went on my phone and found a group

and it'll be coming up to a year later and I've not looked back.

My wife will tell you I've never really been big into my cooking

before, me cooking was just getting a bag of chips out of the oven

and some Southern fried chicken and throwing it in

and I really enjoy cooking now.

You get a lot more energy. I signed up for a marathon

the Manchester marathon in April.

Now I've lost weight, work life and home life is a lot better

because I've got a very active job I don't come home as tired

so I've got more energy

and same as even like fitting into a little loft space, it's a lot easier

and I don't get that whole 'am I'm going to get up there, am I going to get down?'

especially if I'm on a job on my own.

And someone said to me early doors in my group

do you want that meal or snack you've being craving for five minutes

or do you want the body you've craved for for a lifetime

and that sort of, I'll never forget that.

Is Jose Mourinho still Man United's 'unhappy malcontent'? - Duration: 11:45.

Is Jose Mourinho still Man United's 'unhappy malcontent'?

Storm in a teacup.

Daily Mail, January 26: SANCHEZ IN DRUG STORM.

Daily Mirror, January 26: SANCHEZS DRUGS SHOCK.

Arsene Wenger, January 26: I am quite relaxed.

We have nothing to hide.

We always try our best to co-operate with doping control..

Asked whose fault it was, the Arsenal manager admitted: On the administration side, it was ours.

Glad to see that storm took about eight hours to subside.

Mail order.

Manchester United fear Jose Mourinho could resign at the end of the season as boss starts to cut increasingly detached figure at Old Trafford – Matt Lawton, Daily Mail, January 3.

Our favourite lines from the exclusive include:.

There is growing concern inside Old Trafford that Jose Mourinho will not be the manager of Manchester United next season.

Indeed, there is a sense that things are beginning to unravel in an all too familiar fashion, with insiders worried that it will conclude with Mourinho resigning at the end of the current campaign.

He cuts a disgruntled figure, a malcontent seemingly unhappy at United and always looking to escape the city.

Quite why this recluse would extend his stay in Manchester a mere 23 days later is beyond us all.

Singing the Blues.

Neil Ashton, The Sun, page 60: Chelsea do not have a player earning £200,000 a week.

The Sun, page 62: pic. twitter.

com/uFyZ5bqtlY — Football365 (@F365) January 26, 2018.

Hes technically right; they have two earning £220,000 a week.

Singing the Blues, part 2.

Ashton is not done there.

His article for The Sun details how Antonio Conte has puts himself in chiefs firing line – said chief being chairman Bruce Buck.

The piece details the breakdown in relationships between Conte and numerous Chelsea executives, but hold on….

He exceeded his authority last summer when he ditched Diego Costa by text, wiping millions off the Brazilians transfer value.

Chelsea sold Costa to Atletico Madrid for £57m.

They signed him for £30m. He was 28.

Heck, even Ashtons Sun mate Andrew Dillon said Conte was laughing all the way to the bank after the kind of deal that would have made Rodney and Del Boy proud on September 22.

Singing the Blues, part 3.

You would be forgiven for thinking Chelsea didnt actually spend any money, going by Ashtons article.

Chelsea are operating under different financial controls these days after Abramovich tightened the purse strings.

Now look here.

Manchester City were the only club to spend more on transfers than Chelsea in the summer.

Liverpool, Everton and Southampton are the only clubs to spend more on transfers so far this month.

Theyre hardly struggling for cash.

Local Parish.

Matt Lawton has a (completely relevant) question for us all in the Daily Mail:.

So why does £1m tax probe Brighton striker have business links to Palace chairman and football agent?.

You see, the Mails chief sports reporter has spotted something: Glenn Murray is involved in a business whose shareholders include Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish, among others.

Sportsmail can reveal that Murray, his agent Will Salthouse and Parish are shareholders in a chicken restaurant business called Dirtybird Restaurants Limited, Lawton writes.

So Parish, along with numerous other people, invested in a company with someone who was recently arrested and released over tax fraud? But that company is not even slightly linked to said tax fraud investigation? Why have the police not been round to see Parish yet?.

It is not until the 11th paragraph that Lawton slips in the detail that there is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by Parish, or indeed Salthouse, Murray and Wayne Routledge, the Swansea City footballer who also has shares in the company.

So why is the headline used to imply wrongdoing?.

A mere Khan.

Last Saturday, Yeovil midfielder Otis Khan pushed a referee; he was sent off.

The 22-year-old was banned for three games as a result, extended to five after a ludicrous appeal.

Seems fair?.

Not according to Alyson Rudd of The Times.

She argues that Yeovils FA Cup fourth-round tie with Manchester United on Friday has been robbed of its central narrative with Khan suspended.

The rules need to change, Rudd writes.

The underdogs best chance of causing an upset evaporated when Khan was sent off in a League Two match on Saturday..

Then we should probably blame the person who pushed a referee.

Khan, who was a member of the United youth team for ten years until being rejected in 2012, cannot feature in the game at Huish Park because he shoved the referee after Chesterfield scored the winner in a 2-1 home defeat and was sent off.

Khan felt he was fouled in the build-up to the goal..

Yes, and then he pushed a referee.

Which is something you cant do.

It is devastating for the 22-year-old, but there will be plenty who believe that he is the architect of his own misfortune.

Yes, because he pushed a referee.

Which is something you cant do.

Tonight, the BBC cameras would have been trained on him.

The FA Cup needs stories such as Khans, which is just one reason why he should have been allowed to play..

Are we suggesting that suspensions should be suspended if they impinge on the narrative of the FA Cup?  That there should be an exception to the rules just because you now cant play against the club you supported as a kid?.

He pushed a referee.

Which is something you cant do.

Stranger Ings.

Danny Ings is all set to end two years of injury hell by returning to Liverpools first-team tomorrow – David Maddock, Daily Mirror.

Who on earth was that bloke they brought on against Swansea on Monday, then?.

For Sale.

Writes Charlie Sale in the Daily Mail:.

FA senior communications manager Andy Walker was introduced to the Armenia representative at the media workshop in Lausanne for UEFAs 55 countries before the Nations League draw.

On discovering Walker was from England, the Armenian woman said: My son plays football in your country. Walker asked: Who for? and she replied: Hes just joined Arsenal, his names Henrikh. Mkhitaryans mother Marina is head of the national team department at the Armenian FA and was standing in as a media rep..

More as we get it.

When is a High Body Temperature Considered Serious? - Canada 365 - Duration: 8:36.

When is a High Body Temperature Considered Serious?

The normal temperature range for the human body is between 97.6 and 1000ºF. Exceeding 100ºF is considered high body temperature.

To maintain a healthy temperature, it's important to be able to adapt to your environmental surroundings.

When your body's ability to deal with heat is lost, however, your body temperature may rise.

When you have a high body temperature, it causes your blood vessels to dilate.

Thus, it transports excess heat to the surface of your skin.

This causes you to sweat in order to evaporate water and cool you.

However, when your body is exposed to cold temperatures your blood vessels contract.

Your blood flow is reduced and your muscles may begin to tremble in order to generate heat.

Your temperature is therefore regulated through three mechanisms:.

Thermo-receptors: these are found in your skin and at the center of your hypothalamus.

Thermoregulatory effects: sweating and increased blood flow.

Control from your brain.

How do you know if you have a fever?.

Your temperature is considered high when it exceeds 100ºF, but you'll also experience other symptoms.

It can be urgent.

Overall, some of the signs that indicate that your body temperature is higher than it should be include the following:.

The temperature measured in your mouth is higher than 100ºF In the rectum or ear it is higher than 101ºF Under your arm, the temperature is higher than 99ºF.

   . Signs and symptoms.

Body temperature greater than 100ºF Rapid heart rate Shaking and chills Sweating Muscle pain Lack of appetite Rapid breathing Vertigo Malaise.

Risk factors.

Infection: this immune system response indicates that a foreign substance is attacking your body.

Medications: antibiotics, narcotics, or antihistamines can cause a fever because these substances raise your body temperature.

Injuries: suffering from some kind of trauma can trigger a fever.

It can develop from a heart attack, stroke, burn, or heat stroke.

Other diseases can also raise the body temperature, such as arthritis, hyperthyroidism, and even cancer.

Meanwhile, a high temperature that's lower than 100ºF could be due to milder causes like stress, hormonal fluctuations, too much exercise, or a high outdoor temperature.

   . What is hyperthermia?.

This occurs when your body's thermoregulators cannot keep up with the production of heat.

Then, your body temperature rises well above the normal range.

When your temperature is higher than 104ºF, it's considered hyperthermia.

Some of the main symptoms are:.

Bleeding A dark color in your urine Muscle pain Fainting Disorientation.

Causes include:.

A stroke Tumors Encephalitis Internal bleeding.

Complications.

When you don't treat hyperthermia in time, it's possible that the temperature will continue to increase.

This can be dangerous, causing your thermoregulators to fail.

It's essential to lower your body temperature immediately before you experience something like a seizure.

Treatment.

Overall, treatment must be instant.

Aggressive cooling measures should be combined with hyperventilation using 100% oxygen.

Cool the skin with hypothermia blankets.

Immerse the patient in ice water.

Use fans.

If the above measures fail, hemodialysis can be performed to remove toxins from the bloodstream.

How to prevent it?.

First of all, avoid prolonged sun exposure, especially if you'll be engaging in physical activity.

Next, wear sunscreen to protect your skin from burns, which slows the dissipation of heat.

In addition, be sure to drink at least two liters of water a day to stay hydrated.

If you're exercising and you sense that your temperature is increasing, or you feel a sensation of humidity, stop immediately.

In addition, reduce your consumption of alcoholic beverages because they worsen dehydration.

During warm weather, wear light clothing and bright colors.

Finally, don't forget to ventilate your home and consume plenty of electrolytes.

Finally, it's very important that you understand the difference between a fever and hyperthermia.

In addition to a very high body temperature, with hyperthermia you are not able to reduce your temperature yourself.

Waste no time in going to a doctor, especially in the case of children or the elderly.

Joel Taylor Death Prompts FBI Investigation. Here is Why. | 24H News - Duration: 5:14.

Joel Taylor Death Prompts FBI Investigation. Here is Why.

We have a pretty major and surprising update on the sudden death of Joel Taylor. As previously reported, the former Storm Chaser star was found dead on Tuesday, passing away at the very young age of 38.

Multiple friends and ex-co-workers took to social media to confirm the sad news and also to pay tribute to Taylor, who graduated from the University of Oklahoma and who was rose to fame on the aforementioned Discovery Channel reality show.

He was admired by nearly everyone in the field of meteorology. At the time of these reports and Twitter posts, however, the circumstances around Taylors death was unknown.

And the same could be said for his cause of death. Now, however, TMZ and People Magazine have provided many more details on just what transpired Tuesday morning.

For starters, Taylor died on board the Royal Caribbean Cruise ship Harmony of the Seas. It left from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and docked in San Juan, Puerto Rico after his corpse was discovered by a fellow passenger.

Coast Guard in San Juan, Puerto Rico was notified today in the afternoon by the Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas cruise ship that they had a death on board," Ricardo Castrodad, public affairs officer for the Coast Guard's San Juan sector, told People.

Taylors family has reportedly identified his body. At the time of Taylor's passing, the ship was hosting Atlantis Events' all-gay Caribbean Cruise; Olivia Newton-John was the headlining act.

According to TMZ sources, drugs were prevalent on board the cruise liner. It seems as though Taylor was partaking, per a law enforcement official who said the following to the celebrity gossip site:.

It appears the death could be an overdose and Joel Taylor was consuming controlled substances.

A passenger who spent time with Taylor adds that he had consumed so much GHB on the dance floor early Tuesday morning that he was rendered unconscious and carried back to his cabin by two people.

A few hours later, his body was discovered and the authorities were called in. TMZ goes on to write that the abundance of GHB, cocaine and ecstasy on the boat has triggered an FBI investigation.

Numerous individuals were apparently arrested for possession before the cruise left Fort Lauderdale and this agency will be looking into how the drugs ended up on board the ship. And not merely on board, either, but on board in significant quantities.

Taylor's close friend and former colleague Reed Timmer was among the first to publicly mourn his passing on social media.

"RIP my best friend and storm chasing partner, Joel Taylor. I am shocked and absolutely devastated by the loss of my incredible, caring friend," Timmer Tweeted along with image of the pals when they were chasing storms together since 2008.

"We chased so many intense storms, and I wish we could have just one more storm chase. I'll miss you forever, Joel. We lost a legend.. Added the Discovery Channel in a statement:.

"We are so saddened to hear about Joel's passing. We will always remember him fondly as an incredible meteorologist and driver of 'The Dominator.'. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

We echo this sentiment. May Joel rest in peace.
