PLAYERS WHO ALSO KNEEL DURING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM AND THIS

WHOLE STORY CAME ABOUT WHEN AN ACTIVIST APPROACHED THEM AND

ASKED IF THEY SUPPORTED PEOPLE LIKE COLIN KAEPERNICK.

THEY WERE ASKED IF THEY AGREED WITH THE PROTEST AGAINST POLICE

BRUTALITY AND THEY WERE AFFIRMATIVE.

THEY POST THIS PHOTO THAT WAS POSTED ON INSTAGRAM AND

WHEN VIRAL.

FOR THE MOST PART IT GOT A LOT OF SUPPORT BUT AFTER ENOUGH

PEOPLE SOLID, PARTS ARE GOING TO BE SOME WHO ARE OPPOSED TO

IT AND THE POLICE DEPARTMENT WAS NOTIFIED OF THE IMAGE AND

THEY RELEASED A STATEMENT INDICATING THAT THESE

POLICE OFFICERS WOULD BE REPRIMANDED.

I ALSO WANT TO BE CLEAR THAT THE DEPARTMENT DOES HAVE A

PRETTY STRICT POLICY WHEN IT COMES TO PARTISAN POLITICAL

SPEECH WHILE ON DUTY.

THERE OBVIOUSLY IN UNIFORM AND THEY MADE A POLITICAL

STATEMENT AND SO THAT IS THE REASON THAT THE DEPARTMENT

IS GIVING FOR REPRIMANDING THEM.

THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE DEPARTMENT IS AS FOLLOWS:

AT THE END OF THE DAY, IT'S A REPRIMAND AND A REMINDER OF

IT EASILY COULD HAVE BEEN INTERPRETED AS NOT A POLITICAL

STATEMENT AND THEN THINK ABOUT WHAT THE STATEMENT IS.

IT'S AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY.

THEY ARE POLICE.

I HOPE THAT ALL THE COPS AGREE THAT THEY ARE AGAINST

POLICE PER TALLY.

IF THAT IS AGAINST HER GUIDELINES, TO BE IN AGAINST

REALITY, THEN I AM A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT YOUR GUIDELINES.

IT IS SUPER EASY TO SAY, THAT IS NOT A POLITICAL STATEMENT,

OF COURSE WE ARE ALL AGAINST POLICE REALITY.

YES.

I HATE ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICIES.

I THINK THAT ONCE YOU PUT OUT A ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY IN

REGARD TO POLITICAL SPEECH AND YOU KNOW, YOU WERE TALKING

ABOUT PUBLIC OFFICIALS PUTTING FORTH A POLICY THAT

SQUASHES POLITICAL SPEECH.

I DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN HAVE A DEBATE ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT

THIS IS PROTECTED BY THE FIRST AMENDMENT.

I GET THE IDEA THOUGH THAT HEY, WE NEED HAVE A POLICY IN PLACE

BECAUSE WE MIGHT HAVE SOME POLICE OFFICERS WHO SAY THINGS

THAT LEAD TO THE COMMUNITY FURTHER DISTRUSTING THEM AND SO

WE'VE HAD A NUMBER OF STORIES WHEN POLICE HAVE SAID THINGS

THAT ARE HORRIBLE TOWARD THE BLACK COMMUNITY ARE THOSE WHO

HAVE BEEN PROTESTING AND THAT UNFORTUNATELY, NOT UNFORTUNATELY.

UNDERSTANDABLY LEADS TO THE COMMUNITY NOT TRUSTING THEM.

HOWEVER, IN THIS CASE, I FEEL LIKE THIS IS SOMETHING THAT

SHOULD BE PROTECTED.

IT SEEMS LIKE THE ONLY TIME COPS GET REPRIMANDED OR FACE A

PUNISHMENT IS WHEN THEY CRITICIZE OTHER COPS OR

CALL OUT OTHER COPS.

I THINK NOW MORE THAN EVER, WE NEED THE GOOD COPS TO COME

FORWARD AND BE LIKE YOU KNOW WHAT?

WE'RE NOT GOING TO STAND FOR THIS.

ALL OF THESE MURDERS AGAINST PEOPLE WHO ARE UNARMED, WE'RE

NOT GOING TO STAND FOR THIS.

WE HAVE TO CHANGE THE POLICING AND THE TRAINING.

THAT IS WHAT WE'VE BEEN ASKING FOR.

THIS IS WHY WE HAD A MILE STATEMENT WHO KNEELED IN A

PHOTO AND THEY GET REPRIMANDED.

CERTAINLY, THEY'RE SAYING WE WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYBODY

IS TREATED EQUALLY AND THAT WE DON'T HAVE POLICE PER TALLY.

ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE THE POLICE.

YOU HAVE TO AGREE WITH THAT MESSAGE.

AND LAST THING IS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THE WRONG

IMPRESSION OF COPS.

THEY THINK FOR EXAMPLE, WE ARE AGAINST COPS.

THAT IS CRAZY.

WE TALKED ABOUT 1 MILLION TIMES THAT WE WANT BETTER

TRAINING FOR COPS BECAUSE THEY ARE COPS AND WE WANT THEM

TO PROTECT ALL OF THE COMMUNITY AND WE WANT THEM TRAINED

BETTER TO DO THAT SO THEY DON'T SHOOT AS QUICKLY, ETC.

THEN SOME OF THE RIGHT THING, THE COPS DON'T LIKE YOU GUYS.

I'M SURE THAT'S TRUE FOR SOME OF THE COPS, BUT THAT IS

ACTUALLY NOT AT ALL TRUE FOR A LOT OF THE COPS.

I KNOW FOR MY FOR PERSONAL LIFE.

COPS ARE SHOUTING OUT A MEAL THE TIME.

BUT NOT IN THAT WAY.

IT'LL BE LIKE HEY, YOUNG TURKS I WATCH HER SHOW.

The rogue state once again stepped up its incendiary rhetoric against the US following Mr Trumps promise to totally destroy North Korea if it attacked the US.

  A statement published on Uriminzokkiri - a state-controlled website providing news from government mouthpiece the North Korea Central News Agency - hurled insults at the American Commander-in-Chief and vowed to have the final victory over the US.

  In a furious tirade, Uriminzokkiri said: Old b*****d Trump, ignorant of the DPRKs repeated warnings and advices of others, whipped up anti-DPRK hysterics even on the UN arena, thrusting the whole world into a shock.

It might be of everyday occurrence for Trump, a descendant of cannibals who built the US after extirpating American Indians, to unhesitatingly make lunatic remarks of totally destroying a sovereign state.

  But great irony is that he is unable to consider how dearly the US should pay for such provocative remarks against the DPRK.

Quotes attributed to North Korean businessmen went on to describe the president as a gangster, a facist an IQ-low moneygrubber and a political heretic.

One insult, from a mine owner named Jon Yong Gun, read: Such a fascist gang leader should be brought to the international court to be punished.

  It is before long that the outcries of the old rabid dog will be led to a piteous funeral song. A secretary at Pyongyang University, said: Human language can never work on wolves.

The statement ending by reiterating the claim that Mr Trump had declared war on North Korea in a controversial tweet posted on Saturday, where the IS President warned North Korea wont be around much longer.  North Korean state media Uriminzokkiri said: As the Yankees made the most atrocious declaration of war against the DPRK, we, young people, will win the final victory in the century-long anti-imperialist and anti-U.S.

confrontation with our powerful nuclear deterrent. He's saying things he should never ever say but it's a reply.".

Authorities held a secret meeting last week to discuss contingency plans in the event of Pyongyang launching a deadly missile at the US islands.  North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un has threatened to drop a hydrogen bomb over the Pacific Ocean amid fears Pyongyang has developed a nuclear missile capable of reaching Hawaii.  A document shared at the private talks, and obtained by local paper Honolulu Civil Beat, featured chapter headings such as Enhance missile launch notification process between U.S.

Pacific Command and the State Warning Point.". The US state, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, will also begin testing a warning siren system in November, giving residents between 12 and 15 minutes to take refuge.

  Resident wil then be advised to stay indoors for 72 hours after an attack.   State representative Gene Ward told the Washington Post: Now it's time to take it seriously.

He said the plan was not to be an alarmist but to be informing people.

Mr Ward said the meeting last week was held in private because officials did not want to worry residents.  He also said talk of bunkers and fallout shelters was probably more surreal for younger generations with no experience of a realistic nuclear threat.  But Hawaiians are apparently taking the news in their stride, and carrying on with their daily lives.  Residents are used to disaster warnings, living in an area prone to hurricanes and tsunamis.

Survival guidelines for those scenarios are similar to the ones being issued for a nuclear attack - instead of seven days worth of food, water and medical supplies, residents are advised to double it. .

The document distrubted at last weeks meeting suggested that around 90 per cent of the Hawaiian population would survive a nuclear attack by North Korea, based on the estimated yield of North Koreas missile capability, which suggests an explosion less than eight miles in diameter.  It comes as Americas top military officer said despite an escalation in rhetoric between the US and North Korea, he had not seen Pyongyang change its military posture.

Marine General Joseph Dunford, chairman of the militarys Joint Chiefs of Staff, told a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing for his reappointment: While the political space is clearly very charged right now, we havent seen a change in the posture of North Korean forces and we watch that very closely.  What we havent seen is military activity that would be reflective of the charged political environment..

North Korea has boosted defences on its east coast, a South Korean lawmaker said on Tuesday, after Pyongyang said US President Donald Trump had declared war and that it would shoot down US bombers flying near the peninsula.

Tensions have escalated since reclusive North Korea conducted its sixth and most powerful nuclear test on Sept. Bellicose rhetoric has reached a new level in recent days with leaders on both sides exchanging threats and insults.

's regime sent a chilling warning shot to the US President telling him it is prepared to "annihilate the US imperialists, the ringleader of aggression, to the last man on this planet".

  The secretive state said America will "never escape the fate of getting scorched by the fire of justice" after President Trump threatened to "totally destroy" during his first UN assembly address.

  The warning, pumped out by the communist states propaganda machine, is the latest escalation by North Korea in threats of nuclear war against the US.

  It comes as Mr Trump today said he is prepared to take "military action" to end tensions with Pyongyang and the results would be "devastating".

Describing Mr Trump as a "mentally deranged hooligan", North Korea said "action is the best option in treating the dotard".

Pyongyang's mouthpiece Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said: "The DPRK solemnly warned that the way out for the US to evade its final doom is to think with discretion and roll back its anachronistic hostile policy toward the DPRK, though belatedly.

"Action is the best option in treating the dotard who, hard of hearing, is uttering only what he wants to say.  "Such maniacs as Trump who are fond of war should be tamed only with fire.

"Whatever they might have expected, they will face results beyond their expectation."  Hinting that a nuclear bomb could be dropped on mainland America, KCNA said: "The impudent aggressors US imperialists have so far ignited wars against other countries and nations and inflicted all kinds of disasters upon them and have resorted to a nuclear blackmail against the DPRK and the world, calculating that there is no bomb that can be dropped on their land.

"They should clearly understand that tremendous is the power of the army and people who formed a citadel around their leader and turned out as one and that no one can break the decision and will of the DPRK to fully exercise the right to preemptive strike to defend the dignity of the supreme headquarters and sovereignty.

"How far and vast the U.S land may be, it can never escape the fate of getting scorched by the fire of justice of the DPRK." .

Yesterday North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho accused Mr Trump of declaring war on the North and threatened to shoot down US warplanes flying near the Korean peninsula.

Last weekend American bombers flew the closest they ever have to the country. North Koreas sixth and most powerful nuclear missile test was carried out on September 3 when Kims regime tested a hydrogen bomb.

KCNA said: "Belated regret for a wrong judgment and action at a wrong time would be useless.

"It is the stern determination and will of the DPRK to annihilate the US imperialists, the ringleader of aggression, to the last man on this planet.".

Kim Sohye Participates In Script Reading For Her First Drama

Former I.O.I member and actress Kim Sohye will make her acting debut through her first television drama Kang Duk Soons Love History (literal translation). KBS recently released photos from the dramas first table read that took place in August.

As seen in the photos, producer Hwang Seung Ki, writer Baek So Yeon, and actors from the drama gathered for the table read.

PD Hwang Seung Ki said, It might seem like a lighthearted story, but its actually a script with a lot of meaning.

It is a project where every character is precious and I am thankful that actors with such great chemistry signed onto the drama..

The drama will take place in the year 1926 and is about a country girl named Kang Duk Soon (played by Kim Sohye) who moves to Seoul in search of her crush Kim Suk Sam (Oh Seung Yoon).

Since the drama takes place in Chungcheong Province, the actors showcased off the regions unique dialect during the table read.

Even after the table read was over, the actors and crew sat around to discuss certain scenes and details, showing great fondness for their work.

Kang Duk Soons Love History will be the sixth drama in KBSs one-episode series Drama Special, and will air on October 5 at 10 p.m. KST.

是台灣「維護生命40天」的開始， It's the beginning of 40 Days for Life in Taiwan,

也是用禱告來結束墮胎的開始！ and the beginning of the end of abortion!

這也是對我個人來說非常特別的一天。 But it's also a special day for me personally.

兩年前的9月27日是我和美英的第一次約會。 September 27 was my first date with Mei Ying, 2 years ago today.

我很高興大家說，下個星期， And I am very happy to say that next week,

我們將在香港結婚了！ here in Hong Kong, we will be married!

其實，沒有美英的支持，我無法想像如何開始在香港帶領「維護生命40天」， I can't imagine starting 40 Days for Life without Mei Ying's support.

我有不少故事可以告訴你們， And, I could tell several stories.

但讓我告訴大家這一個。 But I'll just tell one.

幾週前，美英和我拜訪了一位老太太。 A few weeks ago, Mei Ying and I visited an older lady.

這個女人的童年很困苦。 This woman had a very difficult childhood.

她的父親有錢，送她上學。 Her father had money, and sent her to school.

但她視力不好，不得不退學。 But she had bad eyes, and she had to quit primary school.

後來她的家人失去了一切，他們搬到了香港。 Later her family lost everything, and they moved to Hong Kong.

這個女人結婚了， This woman got married.

最終生了9個孩子。 And she eventually gave birth to 9 children.

她是半盲的， She was half blind.

住在香港一個貧窮的村子裡。 And she lived in a poor village in Hong Kong.

她的生活真的很辛苦。 Her life was really very hard.

然後……她又懷孕了！ And then...she got pregnant again!

他們不想有這個孩子， They did NOT want to have this baby,

所以他們找了「藥」來處理這個問題。 so they got "medicine" to take care of the problem.

這個藥引起身體很嚴重的疼痛， The medicine caused so much physical pain.

非常大的創傷。 It was so traumatic.

但它沒有果效！ But it didn't work!

胎兒不斷成長。 The baby kept growing.

而且，這個女人不再嘗試墮胎了。 Eventually the woman stopped trying to have an abortion.

最終，她生下了一個健康美麗的女嬰， She gave birth to a healthy, beautiful baby girl.

給她取名叫美英。 And she named her Mei Ying.

嬰兒長大了，她的生活也很辛苦。 And the baby grew up, and her life was hard too.

但是，她成了世界上最特別的人， But, she became the most amazing person in the world.

而我下週要和她結婚。 And next week I'm going to marry her.

我非常感謝上帝，墮胎沒有成功。 I'm so grateful to God that the abortion didn't work.

我非常感謝我的岳母養大了一個這麼特別的女兒。 And I'm so grateful to my mother-in-law for raising such an amazing girl.

美英真的很棒。 Mei Ying is really amazing.

因著有她，香港是一個更美好、更豐富，更幸福的地方。 And Hong Kong is a better and richer and happier place because she is here.

她很特別，但這不是為什麼嘗試墮掉她是個錯誤。 She's amazing...but that's NOT the reason that it was wrong to abort her.

墮掉她是錯誤的， It was wrong to abort her because

是因為當她在母親的子宮裡，她已經有人的尊嚴。 when she was in her mother's womb, she had human dignity.

她有人類DNA。 She had human DNA.

她有一個很小的心臟。 She had a tiny human heartbeat.

現在和當時的一樣， And it's the same heart now as it was then.

有同樣的心臟，同樣的DNA， The same heart, the same DNA,

同樣的尊嚴和同樣的命定。 the same dignity, and the same destiny.

毀滅這個命定不是一個好的選擇。 It's not a good choice to delete that destiny.

文化總是在改變。 The culture is always changing.

想像你在40年前生活，然後我告訴過你： Imagine that you lived 40 years ago, and I told you:

「聽說不久以後，在中國有大家庭就是違法的。 "Guess what! Soon, it will be illegal for Chinese people to have large families.

並且，數億中國女性將被要求墮胎。」 AND, hundreds of millions of Chinese women will be REQUIRED to get abortions."

你不會相信的。 You would not believe it.

你會覺得我瘋了， You would think I'm crazy,

因為你認為中國人不會接受。 because it's impossible for Chinese people to accept that.

對嗎？ Right?

大多數華人住在中國。 Most Chinese people live in the People's Republic of China.

如果你有兩個孩子， And it's illegal to give birth if you have two children,

或者如果你的丈夫沒有簽署出生證件， or if your husband doesn't sign the birth papers,

或者你還未結婚，生孩子就是犯法的。 or if you're not married.

而在這四十年，法律要求億萬中國女性墮胎。 AND, hundreds of millions of Chinese women have been required by law to get abortions.

但是在香港，澳門和台灣， But in Hong Kong and Macau and Taiwan,

令人墮胎的不是法律，而是文化。 it's not the law--but it's the culture that requires you to get an abortion.

所以，要改變文化！ So, change the culture!

以賽亞書1:17說：你們要學習行善， 追求正義， Isaiah 1:17 says, "Learn to do right; seek justice.

幫助受欺壓的， Defend the oppressed.

替孤兒辯護， 為寡婦伸冤。 Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow."

這就是你正在做的。 That's what you are doing.

你正在做正確的事情， You're doing what's right,

你透過禱告、禁食和代禱來尋求正義。 you're seeking justice through prayer and fasting and intercession.

而且，孤兒包括未出生者， And...the fatherless includes the preborn,

寡婦包括 and the widow includes

被男朋友/丈夫/社會遺棄的母親， the mother who has been abandoned by her boyfriend/husband/society,

他們需要被保護、協助，甚至是法律顧問， who needs protection, and assistance, and maybe even legal counsel,

以及PSC等團體給予的同情支持。 and the compassionate support that groups like PSC give.

上帝真的很在乎公義。 God really cares about justice.

上帝說了很多次，在舊約中有數百次， God says SO many times, hundreds of times in the Old Testament,

祂希望祂的子民行公義，因為祂要祝福他們！ that He wants His people to do justice, because He wants to bless them!

公義地對待孤兒、寡婦的、工人、外國人。 Justice for the orphans, justice for the widows, justice for the workers, justice for the foreigners—

同情、慷慨、犧牲、幫助窮人！ compassion, generosity, sacrifice, give to the poor!

還有，舊約的最後預言是什麼呢？ And then, suddenly, what's the last prophecy of the Old Testament?

「把父母的心轉向自己的兒女。」 "Turn the hearts of parents to their children."

這是上帝為地球帶來公平和公義的計劃的一部分。 This is part of God's plan for justice and righteousness on the earth.

這是教會在做的。 And it's what the Church does.

「把父母的心轉向自己的兒女」 "Turn the hearts of parents to their children."

那就是你正在做的。所以加油！ And that's what you're doing.

那麽，加油！ So, "加油!" (Just go for it!)
