Sanjay Gupta: "It is absolutely clear that together
  we are very powerful
and that we are achieving extraordinary things.
Breaking ground on this Business College Pavilion
is one of these extraordinary achievement.
And it is extraordinary because of the immeasurable impact
it is going to have, not only
on the Broad College of Business,
  but on all of MSU."
President Simon: "It's really an important day for the college.
It's a day of symbolism for the University in lots of ways.
It does make a difference the tools we have for students,
faculty and staff to engage in scholarship
  and discovery, innovation and learning.
That takes a different kind of space
for the 21st century than it did for the 20th."
Sanjay Gupta: "I firmly believe that this project
will, in fact, raise the bar on how business education
  will done in the future."
Kari Jurewicz: "It is clear to me and to my fellow classmates
that learning happens when you close a textbook.
And you pay attention to what is going on around you
and to the people that you are surrounded by.
The new team rooms and the dynamic layout of this pavilion
  emphasize this approach
and continue to prepare us for what is coming next
  as professionals.
Because ultimately, business is about people
and our ability to be compassionate leaders
as we learn from those around us."
President Simon: "In one Team MSU
and have that front door be the Business Pavilion,
provides us with an enormous opportunity for the future
that we can realize because of you.
Because of the way in which you have been able to support
this project in its most critical moment."
Sanjay Gupta: "To our Broad College Alumni and friends,
we are able to celebrate here today
  because of your ongoing commitment,
you will be part of the Spartans Will mantra
for our college for generations to come."
President Simon: "I'd like for each of you, just take a moment and reflect
on the thing that you would like most to happen
  for Michigan State,
not simply when we cut the ribbon for this building,
but also, what you would imagine here five, ten,
  twenty years from now
  for the students and faculty
who will pass through these doors.
And what they can do to make a huge difference in the world.
Because Spartans Will is not simply about learning here,
it's about taking that learning and innovation
and making a huge difference in the world."
