- Hey everybody, it's J.R., and today is about the...
("Final Countdown")
(singing) final walk through!
So what is the final walk through?
The final walk through is basically a thing
that the buyer does right before closing
to make sure everything is the way
that it is supposed to be.
So if the seller had agreed to do something to the house
or leave a piece of furniture or something like that,
that's what you're checking for.
You're going through to make sure everything
is the way that it was or was supposed to be.
It's not an opportunity to go in and look for new problems
and then try to get out of the purchase.
That is a terrible time to do that,
because you could then end up being in default
of the contract, and you don't want to do that.
So, final walk through is just to make sure
everything is the way that it was supposed to be,
and just kind of signing off, saying all right,
let's move forward, we're all set.
So if you have any questions about the final walk through
or when it's done or how it's done,
it's pretty simple, you just walk through the house,
but if you do have a question about it,
I'll be happy to answer them, and we're here for you.
So reach out to us, thanks!
