So what is the final walk through?

The final walk through is basically a thing

that the buyer does right before closing

to make sure everything is the way

that it is supposed to be.

So if the seller had agreed to do something to the house

or leave a piece of furniture or something like that,

that's what you're checking for.

You're going through to make sure everything

is the way that it was or was supposed to be.

It's not an opportunity to go in and look for new problems

and then try to get out of the purchase.

That is a terrible time to do that,

because you could then end up being in default

of the contract, and you don't want to do that.

So, final walk through is just to make sure

everything is the way that it was supposed to be,

and just kind of signing off, saying all right,

let's move forward, we're all set.

it's pretty simple, you just walk through the house,

It's J.R., and today's video is about a survey.

What is a survey,

and how is it done?

A survey is basically something that is needed

to note where exactly your property is, right,

on a map.

And here's how it's done.

So these guys are professional surveyors.

What they do is one guy stands over here with this thing,

and this guy stands over here with this thing,

and then he shoots lasers (lasers shooting)

at him for a long time,

and then move to different points on your property,

and then shoot another laser, (lasers shooting)

and then he's shooting this laser.

I don't know if this guy ever gets to shoot a laser or not.

I think he shoots the lasers only,

and then at the end of the day,

they know exactly where your land is,

and whether or not the neighbor's fence

is encroaching on your property.

So that's a very scientific explanation

of what a survey is and how it's done,

and why it's necessary.

and then I will tell you I will find out the answer

because I know very little about how it's done,

as you can tell from my rudimentary drawing and explanation.

But I do know that it's necessary,

especially when getting a mortgage on your home,

so that way, everybody knows exactly

which property you are purchasing

and what is within the boundary line.

One Minute Wisdom - Everything Is A Choice - Duration: 1:12.

Shit happens you've seen the bumper sticker, that's life, but everything after

that is completely up to you. It's a choice. You choose how you react to it,

you choose how you perceive it, you choose how you feel about it and you

choose how long you hold on to it. Everything is a choice. At a base level

we always have exactly two choices for every situation; fear or love. Fear

controls all the shit responses; sadness anger, frustration etc. Love; the opposite.

All the ones that make you feel good. You always have two conscious options for

every choice you make, choose love. Yep sometimes that is hard, but the more you

practice it the easier it becomes. It becomes a habit, it becomes who you are

and it changes the way that you see the world and that's a pretty cool skill to

have.
