'Modern Family's' Ariel Winter Slams Paparazzi For 'Ruining' First Day Of College - Duration: 2:19.'Modern Family's' Ariel Winter Slams Paparazzi For 'Ruining' First Day Of College
Ariel Winter is back at school, but paparazzi are not giving her a break.
On Thursday, the Modern Family star started her new role of being a student at UCLA. In the photos shared by Us Weekly, Winter, 19, sported a white shirt, classic jean shorts, and white platform sneakers when she attended her first class.
However, things didnt turn out well because someone ruined her day. Well, the paparazzi just successfully ruined my first day of school. Thank, the Sofia the First star wrote on Twitter.
Winters followers have a mixed reaction to her complaint. Some believed that she should deal with it given that shes one of the hottest celebrities in Hollywood.
Meanwhile, some are convinced that it wasnt her choice to be in the biz in the first place because she was only 6 when she started acting.
It was not Winters first rant against paparazzi. Last week in a lengthy post on Instagram, the Mr. Peabody & Sherman star aired her grievances against the photographers for featuring her in any way they can.
Something I wish people would realize...I am not TRYING to be featured on Snapchat, I am not trying to be papd everywhere I go, Winter wrote. I am literally just LIVING and unfortunately, I cant do that without paparazzi following me around everyday.
Winter added that she doesnt want to reveal her body whenever she goes to the grocery store. She also complained how those people question her fashion and choice of appropriate clothing.
She stressed that shes not perfect and shes not a stylist while adding that she doesnt want to be in the news unless shes in a public event or has a project coming out. So trust me. I dont want to see me in shorts, Winter ended her rant.
In related news, Winters mom, Crystal Workman, accused the actress of reigniting their feud because she craved for attention.
Workman also denied Winters claims that she dressed the star inappropriately since she was a kid, which affected the latters choice of clothing today. Winter even said that if she had a nude scene when she was 12, her mother would a thousand percent said yes.
She continues to attack me. Its heartbreaking, Workman said. I think she wants the headlines. I think she craves attention. If that means throwing your mother under the bus and hurting her and breaking her heart, shes going to do it.

8 Games That Were Banned For Unusual Reasons - Duration: 7:45.Every now and again, a game will be banned for reasons that sound particularly bizarre
or incredibly arbitrary.
Reasons that seem to make no sense at all and cause us gamers to collectively scratch
our heads and wonder - who made this stupid decision?
And that's what we're going to discuss today, games that were banned around world for seemingly
very stupid reasons.
Starting with EA Sports MMA for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, which got its release completely
canned in Denmark.
One might think that such a ban is not that weird, when we consider the amount of brutality
that surrounds such sport.
But the Danish didn't have a problem with the men trying to reduce each other into bloody
pulps with their bare hands.
EA Sports MMA had its release cancelled because of a Scandinavian law that prohibits any kind
of marketing for energy drinks.
Since the fighter's trunks are covered in all sorts of ads, including ones for energy
drinks, the law proved to be a headache for the game's developers.
When confronted with this situation, EA had two choices: Alter the game so it featured
ads for local products, thus ruining the product's authenticity, or simply not releasing it in
Denmark and focusing on other markets.
The company eventually chose the latter.
It's important to note that the game wasn't officially banned by the Danish government,
hence, while it's not sold in Denmark, it can be legally purchase via import.
However, a game that had no such luck was Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure
for PlayStation 2 and Xbox, which got the boot in the land down under.
Australia have a long history of banning controversial games, but this case remains one of the most
strange, since Marc Ecko got his game banned for promoting illegal graffiti.
The game was initially rated MA 15+, but that decision was appealed by the Attorney General's
Office and the Local Government Association of Queensland.
Eventually, Australia's classification board refused the game a classification in a 3 to
2 decision, effectively banning it altogether.
The classification board declared, through a press release, that the title promoted crimes
such as presenting the player with realistic scenarios where the main character would learn
graffiti techniques, rewarding the player for writing on public buildings, and presented
biographies of over 50 real life graffiti artists, many of whom are still active today.
The distributor of the game, Atari Australia, was not happy with this decision, and said
in a statement that they strongly disagreed with it.
Unfortunately, this happened before the introduction of the R 18+ rating in the country, which
happened in 2012 and could have saved the game from being banned.
The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings, for Xbox 360 and PC, is another title that felt the
fury of Australian censorship.
In 2011, the game was refused classification because it depicted "sex as a reward"
after the end of a side quest.
Specifically, at the end of a mission, the main character Geralt could choose to side
with a succubus, or the guy who wanted her dead.
If the player decided to help the demon girl, he would have the option to bed her when completing
the mission.
That did not sit well with the classification board, who argued that having "sex as reward
was not suitable for a MA 15+ launch".
So, due to this trouble, the Australian version was censored so that that Geralt immediately
turns down the succubus' advances at the end of the quest.
After this change, The Witcher 2 was granted a release in Australia.
From Australia, we'll fly to Brazil, when in 2007 two games were banned in one fell
swoop: Counter-Strike and Everquest.
The decision came from judge Carlos Alberto Simoes, who deemed that both games "encouraged
the subversion of public order" and were "an attack against the democratic state,
and public security".
Federal justice in Brazil was also outraged that one of the game's levels took place
in a favela, the slums, on Rio de Janeiro, and allowed the audience to play as drug overlords
and kill police officers.
Electronic Arts pointed out to no effect, that all of these things were mods created
by fans and not endorsed by the game's developers.
As the cherry on top, Counter Strike was also accused of teaching war tactics to the audience.
Everquest was also blamed of "forcing players into heavy psychological conflicts", in
addition to the "complete moral distortion" that such dilemmas would bring to teenagers
and children", simply because the game gave them the option to choose between characters
of good and evil alignment.
The banning of both games caused uproar amongst gamers in Brazil, and started a fair amount
of debate in the country's mainstream media.
Fortunately, the ban on both games was lifted in 2009, and fans could rejoice once more.
Bully, Rockstar's seminal boarding school simulator, also caused a fair amount of controversy
in Brazil, and in 2008, it was banned by the judge Flávio Mendes Rabelo, from the state
of Rio Grande do Sul.
The prohibition was based on findings from the state psychology society, which determined
that the game could be potentially harmful for children and teenagers, since it took
place at a school full of "violence, corruption, humiliating situations and unscrupulous teachers".
Any establishment caught selling Bully would face an R$ 1000 fine per day.
The ban did little to affect the audience relationship with the title, since it happened
in a time when videogame piracy was running rampant in Brazil.
JPF Maggazine, the company responsible for Bully's distribution in the country, sold
a measly 400 copies of Bully from 2006, until its ban in 2008.
Anyone who wanted to acquire the adventures of Jimmy Hopkins could do so by simply downloading
it.
The ban was lifted in 2016, when digital versions of the game were released in Brazil, for PlayStation
4 and PC.
The reasons behind the end of the prohibition were never explained to the public.
Moving onto the Middle East, we have Injustice: Gods Among Us, which was banned in both the
United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
The order came from the National Media Council, who never gave an official reason for the
decision.
However, there was speculation among retailers, as they believe that the problem was the use
of the word "gods" in the title, something that went against Islamic teachings that describe
only one true god.
In fact, Warner Bros had even try to circumvent this by remarketing the game with the title
"The Mighty Among Us", instead, and released promotional material with this new name
But, all of this was actually not needed in the end.
A little after announcing the ban, the title was then suddenly unbanned with, again, not
much official reasoning given.
Now onto Singapore, who had problems with the first game in the Mass Effect saga, back
in 2007.
The game caused some controversy in the US thanks to its romance scenes, but it was outright
banned in Singapore for containing instances of lesbian sex.
When playing as the female commander Shepard, players have the option of romancing LiaraT'soni,
member of the Asari race, which is mono gendered, but happens to resemble female humans.
Such nuance wasn't understood by censors in the country, who banned the game before
the release date, only to unban it quickly after.
Singapore lacked a classification system for games at the time, and it was the only country
in the world that decided on banning Mass Effect.
After generating quite a lot of buzz on the internet, the Board of Film Censors declared
that a gaming rating system would be created the next year and in the meantime, they would
judge work with a case-by-case scenario, to "enable highly anticipated games to be released
in Singapore".
There are, unfortunately, many more cases like these of games being banned for pretty
unusual reasons.
In fact, most of the games on this list later ended up being released without further problems,
further highlighting how absurd the decisions were.

Heidi Klum's Ex Vito Schnabel Arrested For Drug Possession Weeks Before Split - Duration: 2:05.Heidi Klum's Ex Vito Schnabel Arrested For Drug Possession Weeks Before Split
Heidi Klums ex-boyfriend Vito Schnabel was arrested before the supermodel confirmed that they have called it quits.
Earlier this week, Klum confirmed to People that she and Schnabel have split. I believe that it is important to take time to pause and reflect, the Americas Got Talent judge said.
Schnabel, 31, was arrested for drug possession on Sept. 3 at Burning Man Festival in Nevada. A source confirmed this to Us Weekly.
He was allegedly in possession of psilocybin, a Schedule I controlled substance also known as psychedelic mushrooms. The art curator pleaded not guilty to the charges. However, he could face up to five years in prison if he will be convicted.
Klum and Schnabel have been dating for three years. However, a source confirmed that there has been trouble in paradise for a little while. The then-couples relationship was reportedly heading south already.
Back in 2015, Klum confessed to Entertainment Tonight that she was very much in love with Schnabel. The supermodel was noticeably sporting a band on her left hand which she cleared was not an engagement ring.
This is just a beautiful bauble from Lorraine Schwartz, Klum said about her stunning gold sparkler band. I wont get married again. People always write all these crazy things, but its not all true. Dont always believe what you read in the paper!
Klum was previously married to Ric Pipino (1997-2002) and Seal (2005 - 2015). Klum and Seal shares three children Henry, 12, Johan, 10, and Lou, 7. Klum was also a mom to Leni, 13, from her ex Flavio Briatore.
Klum and Briatore dated in 2003. In December of that year, she announced her pregnancy, but the pair split shortly afterward. Klum started dating Seal, who was there when she delivered Leni.
Briatore told Daily Mail, that he, Klum and Seal agreed that the latter would adopt his daughter because the baby needs to grow up in a family. Briatore admitted that it was hard to miss his daughter when he never sees her.
Its hard to miss a baby that you never see. But I know that Leni is not an abandoned child. Leni is part of Seals family and Nathan is part of mine, Briatore said.

San Juan Mayor Rebukes Trump Administration for Rosy Comments on Relief Effort - Duration: 13:18.San Juan Mayor Rebukes Trump Administration for Rosy Comments on Relief Effort
SAN JUAN, P.R.
— In the storm-battered neighborhood of Barriada Figueroa on Friday, neighbors greeted visitors with a now-familiar question, one that was inevitably followed by a disappointing answer: "Are you FEMA?" Hurricane Maria had ripped walls and metal roofs from the brightly colored homes in this working-class neighborhood in central San Juan.
Nine days after the storm hit, putrid water still lay stagnant in the streets. Aida Perez, 73, gave a tour of her house, pointing to the holes in her roof and ceiling.
She said she could use a tarp. But no federal officials had been spotted yet.
"After Georges, FEMA came, the Red Cross came, and they came rapidly," she said, referring to Hurricane Georges, the 1998 storm that caused extreme damage here, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The slow pace of the federal response to Hurricane Maria — and the upbeat portrayal of the response by federal officials, including President Trump — threatened this week to become an embarrassment and political liability for the administration as it scrambled to confront a natural disaster that has overwhelmed this island, and presented breathtaking logistical challenges.
On Friday evening, Mr Trump again repeatedly praised his government's response to the Puerto Rico hurricane during remarks to reporters before leaving for his New Jersey club for the weekend. "It's going really well, considering," Mr Trump said.
He added: "We've made tremendous strides.
Very tough situation." Later, he said, "People can't believe how successful it's been." But the disconnect between what officials in Washington were saying and the situation on the ground in Puerto Rico was captured on live television by the response of the mayor of San Juan when she was played a clip of the acting Homeland Security secretary, Elaine Duke, saying that she was "very satisfied" with the government's response.
Duke called it "a good news story in terms of our ability to reach people and the limited number of deaths that have taken place." The retort from Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz: "This is, damn it, this is not a good news story.
This is a 'people are dying' story. This is a 'life or death' story. This is 'there's a truckload of stuff that cannot be taken to people' story.
This is a story of a devastation that continues to worsen." Mr Trump's political adversaries quickly pounced on what they said was evidence of a lack of interest or urgency on the part of the president.
And some saw an echo of the comments made in 2005 by former President George W.
Bush, when he praised then-FEMA head Michael Brown for doing "a heck of a job" in the midst of what was widely seen as a slow and botched recovery effort in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
"The problem is, and this is what felled the Bush administration: images tell the whole story," said Dan Pfeiffer, who served as a communications director and senior adviser for former President Barack Obama.
"You had Trump on Twitter saying one thing, and then you have the images all over cable news telling a different story." Peter Feaver, a national security official for Mr Bush during Katrina, said there were many similarities between Hurricane Maria and the 2005 storm, each of which hold lessons for Mr Trump and his team.
"There are echoes to it that should concern the White House," Mr Feaver said.
"They would be wise that they not take it for granted that they can avoid that image stamped on this episode." "What matters more is the perception than the reality," Mr Feaver added.
"The best after-action histories did not condemn Bush as vividly as the immediate media framing." The administration is unquestionably facing a daunting task. The hurricane knocked out nearly all of Puerto Rico's electrical grid, and most of its cellular service.
Roads are damaged, bridges have collapsed, and an unknown number of Puerto Ricans are stranded in the hills and hollows of the mountain interior without access to water or food.
Representatives of the commonwealth government stationed outside the capital have taken to driving to San Juan in person to present their progress reports.
Rosselló said that the government would begin commandeering and giving away at least 3,000 containers of cargo stuck at the Port of San Juan, much of it meant for the island's supermarkets, if the stores themselves could not move the merchandise.
But hundreds of supermarkets remained closed because of a lack of diesel fuel to run their generators, and the high demand for diesel has now created a black market for it.
The local and federal governments have been unable to come up with a solution, said Manuel Reyes Alfonso, executive vice president of MIDA, the island's food industry association.
"The distribution of food has turned into the distribution of diesel," said Mr Reyes. "I think many are underestimating the potential of crisis.
It becomes a crisis when retailers start closing when they don't have diesel and the food gets wasted, and it's happening more often than people think." Omar Marrero, the ports director in Puerto Rico, said the government had a right to expropriate shipments.
But food distributors pushed back, saying the government had neither the capacity nor experience to distribute food.
"They should do that if they want chaos and make sure that nobody eats for two weeks," said Angel Torres, the president of Plaza Provision Company, an importer for Kraft and other companies. "That would be crazy." Nelson O.
Vázquez, president of the Selectos supermarket chain, said FEMA had done a poor job of managing the acute diesel shortage, which was crippling the food supply and leaving store shelves bare. "They haven't been quick enough," Mr Vázquez said.
"If people start getting hungry and not getting supplies they need, they are going to start looting." By Friday, the Trump administration appeared to have awakened to the risks in offering an overly sunny assessment, sending a number of top military and other officials to the island in advance of the president's trip here next Tuesday, a show of its commitment and focus.
In interviews aboard an Air Force flight to Puerto Rico, administration officials did their best to downplay Ms.
Duke's comments, while highlighting the administration's efforts to distribute fuel, clean water, ice and other basic supplies that are running critically short on the entire island of 3.4 million people, who remained without electricity.
"I don't think you can ever be satisfied when you have people who are in need," said Lt. Gen.
Semonite, commanding general of the Army Corps of Engineers. He added: "But I don't know of anything right now that we are not doing that we couldn't do.
There are no other knobs that we can turn to be able to go any faster." Vice Adm. Karl Shultz, the commander of the Coast Guard's Atlantic Area, agreed.
"I would hope that people would understand the facts, understand what is going on," Admiral Shultz said. "It's easy to criticize when you don't have visibility of all the things." And Ms.
Duke sought to clarify her remarks during a short news conference at the San Juan airport before taking off on a helicopter tour of the damage to the island.
"The end of my statement about good news was that it was good news that the people of Puerto Rico, the many public servants of the United States and the government of Puerto Rico were working together," she said.
White House officials said the response was robust even before the storm made landfall. By the day after, 3,500 federal workers were on the ground with 500 generators, distributing 274,000 meals.
Within days, federal officials had a million liters of water in Puerto Rico and military officials were transporting 124,000 gallons of fuel. By Friday, FEMA had 10,000 people on the island, including 17 chainsaw teams clearing debris.
The federal effort has come in for praise from some, including Jenniffer González-Colón, Puerto Rico's resident commissioner and the island's representative in Congress.
She said workers from FEMA, the Coast Guard, and other agencies had begun the massive logistical challenge of restoring roads and communications almost as soon as the storm had passed.
"We've never before got this kind of communications with the federal government," said Ms. González-Colón. González-Colón, who was traveling with Ms.
Duke's delegation, said the federal and Puerto Rican governments' recovery efforts had been hampered by the unique challenges of trying to restore power and distribute supplies on an island where the infrastructure has largely been destroyed.
"It's not like Florida or Texas," she said. "Those states the federal government sent aid by highways, by helicopter, by trains. In Puerto Rico, you can't do that." The distinction was lost on a number of island residents on Friday.
In a stretch of Ocean Park, a middle-class San Juan neighborhood that seemed to be just as badly damaged as Barriada Figueroa, David Wittig, a chiropractor, lamented the fact that he had seen no one from FEMA on his block, a virtual war zone of vile, thigh-high water, felled trees and flood-rotted furniture.
No MREs," said Mr Wittig, 49, referring to military meals. No hygiene products for women." José Alvarez, 53, a school security guard in the southern city of Ponce, said people were growing frustrated at the shortages.
"Right now if you got to any store the grocers are running low, the shelves are bare," he said.
"If six people live in your house and you buy two small containers of milk, how long is that going to last? They limit what you can buy. That's if they have it.
There are a lot of things they just don't have.".
