Namgoong Min Prepares Vacation As Thank-You Gift For "Distorted" Staff

Actor Namgoong Min recently planned a vacation to thank the staff of SBSs Distorted.

A source from his agency 935 Entertainment confirmed and revealed on September 26, Namgoong Min went on a two-day vacation somewhere in Incheon with staff he worked with on Distorted.

It was revealed that he had also prepared it himself for the staff.

There were reports earlier that afternoon that the actor had gone on an MT with the staff on September 25-26.

(MT stands for "membership training" where people hang out, play games, and take time to bond with one another.).

The source also clarified that the trip wasnt so big as to include all of the staff.

Namgoong Min went simply with individual staff members like hair and makeup artists who had worked hard during Distorted shooting, they explained.

Namgoong Min played the role of Han Moo Young in Distorted, a drama that tells the story of righteous journalists going against corrupt media organizations.

Watch: Lee Jong Suk And Suzy Share Stories About Filming For "While You Were Sleeping"

The cast of SBSs upcoming drama While You Were Sleeping recently shared stories from filming through the September 26 broadcast of SBSs Night of Real Entertainment.

Ahead of their interview, Night of Real Entertainment aired footage of lead roles Suzy and Lee Jong Suk posing for photos together at the dramas press conference as well as previews of the drama.

The interviewer asked Suzy about her short hair which caused quite a stir amongst her fans.

She revealed, Its my first time [with hair this short] since my debut so [its been] about seven years.

I tried a new style, so it was cool, but a lot of people around me were worried for me..

Suzy will also be showcasing new sides to her in the drama.

Behind-the-scenes footage revealed the idol doing her own stunts in the scene where she seemingly falls off the ledge of the hospital roof.

Suzy commented, I watched the stunt actress filming and thought I could do that so I did it myself..

She also shows her funny side in another scene where she comes out of the bathroom with no makeup on, asking her mom where the razor is so she can shave her armpits.

When she sees Lee Jong Suk standing in her living room, she runs to her bathroom and talks to her reflection in the mirror about the state of her eyebrows.

Lee Jong Suk will be sharing a new side to him as well while playing a young, clumsy prosecutor in this drama.

When the interviewer asked Suzy if she noticed any new aspects of Lee Jong Suk while filming, he interjected, Im looking forward to [this answer]. Suzy then replied, When its an important or serious scene, he is able to focus immediately which was different from what I thought… which made Lee Jong Suk jokingly yell to everyones amusement, What did you think of me before?!.

North Korea latest: US to send Rex Tillerson to China for crisis talks amid WW3 fears - Duration: 3:54.

North Korea latest: US to send Rex Tillerson to China for crisis talks amid WW3 fears

Mr Tillerson will travel to Beijing on Thursday, September 28, for a three-day visit expected to be dominated by the nuclear threats issued against the US by Chinas allies.  The trip will also lay the groundwork for Mr Trumps visit to China in November, State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert told a news briefing.

Earlier this week Mr Tillerson said Mr Trump would have all military options on the table when it comes to dealing with North Korea.  He said: We will continue our efforts in the diplomatic arena, but all of our military options is on the table.  .

The US has repeatedly urged China - North Koreas only ally - to do more to solve the crisis, by using its influnce to pursuade Pyongyang to scale down its nuclear ambitions.

Although China has criticised Kim Jong Uns persistant rocket launches and Septembers nuclear bomb test, Beijing is wary of regime change should it unleash a wave of North Korean immigrants across its border.

On Monday China urged all sides to show restraint and not "add oil to the flames" after a weekend of additional threats by both Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un.

China's United Nations ambassador Liu Jieyi said the escalating rhetoric between the two nations was getting "too dangerous" and stressed the only solution to the crisis was negotiations.  He said: We want things to calm down.

Its getting too dangerous and its in nobodys interest. We certainly hope that the United States and North Korea will see that there is no other way than negotiations to solve the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula.

The alternative is a disaster." As well as North Korea, trade will also be discussed.   .

Relations between the two nations have been strained following President Trumps repeated criticism of Chinese trade practices and the US deficit with teh worlds largest exporter.  US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross visited Beijing this week, and said China needed to "guarantee fair and reciprocal treatment for US.

firms". He told Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Monday that the United States hoped for "very good deliverables" when Mr Trump visits China, likely in November.

In a statement on Tuesday, the US Commerce Department said that Mr Ross had also pressed China on the "need to rebalance bilateral trade and investment relations" and urged it to take "meaningful action" on trade issues.

China committed to further market opening and welcomed participation by US firms, with both sides supporting talks to resolve trade frictions, it said.

[HEALTH]Dietary Supplements for Healthy Aging | Everyday Health - Duration: 4:26.

Dietary Supplements for Healthy Aging | Everyday Health

Vitamins and minerals are important tools in the fight against common diseases including heart disease, diabetes, and cancer, but just when you need them the most for healthy aging, your bodys ability to absorb them from the foods you eat may start to slow down.

Taking certain supplements could help you stay healthy. The best source of nutrients is the food you eat.

"But let's face it, it can be difficult to get all the vitamins and minerals we need from your diet alone," says Jim White, RD, owner of Jim White Fitness & Nutrition Studios in Virginia Beach, Va., and a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

For one thing, you may not eat as much as you get older because your sense of taste and smell is diminished.

Or you may be on a restricted diet because of other health concerns or taking medications that lower your body's ability to absorb vitamins and minerals.

Here are some of the most important nutrients you need for healthy aging and how to get them. Calcium.

Calcium works with vitamin D to protect bones and prevent osteoporosis — the disease that causes bones to thin, making them more susceptible to fractures.

You also need calcium for your blood to clot and for your heart, muscles, and nerves to function properly.

According to the National Institutes of Health, women ages 51 to 70 should get 1,200 milligrams (mg) of calcium a day and men ages 51 to 70 should aim for 1,000 mg a day.

To get more calcium in your diet, try low-fat or fat-free dairy, dark greens, and foods fortified with calcium.

If you're having trouble getting enough calcium through your diet alone or if you're at risk for bone loss, talk to your doctor about taking a calcium supplement.

You will absorb calcium more efficiently if you take a supplement in small doses a couple times a day rather than all at once and if you take it with food.

Exposure to sunlight triggers your body to produce vitamin D. But as you age, your skin produces less vitamin D than it did when you were younger.

You need adequate levels of vitamin D to help your body absorb calcium and to keep your mind sharp and your bones strong. Most people need at least 800 international units (IUs) a day.

Vitamin D is in fatty fish, eggs, and foods that are fortified with vitamin D, like milk and even cereal, but it may be hard to get enough without taking a supplement.

Check with your doctor for the amount that's right for you. If a blood test shows that you have a vitamin D deficiency, your doctor may recommend more than 800 IUs a day.

Getting adequate amounts of vitamin B12 may help reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke. Lack of vitamin B12 can cause memory issues and anemia.

Its found in seafood, meat, and dairy. But as you age, you don't absorb B12 as well as you did when you were younger.

The Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine recommends men and women ages 51 to 70 get 2.4 micrograms of B12 daily. A simple blood test can tell if youre deficient.

Vitamin B6 is important for healthy red blood cells. It's found in many foods, such as poultry, seafood, fruit, and potatoes. The recommended daily amount is 1.5 mg for women and 1.7 mg for men. Vitamins A, C, and E.

These vitamins are antioxidants, known to counteract damage from aging, and may help you ward off some diseases. It's best to get these vitamins from the foods you eat, White says.

To maximize your intake, choose fruits and vegetables in all the colors of the rainbow — each color provides different micronutrients.

Men ages 51 to 70 need 900 micrograms of vitamin A, 90 mg of vitamin C, and 15 mg of vitamin E daily.

Women ages 51 to 70 need 700 micrograms of vitamin A, 75 mg of vitamin C, and 15 mg of vitamin E daily. Should You Take Dietary Supplements?.

Talk to your doctor about your individual dietary needs and how to satisfy them through food and, if needed, supplements. Some people find it easier to take a multivitamin rather than each supplement separately.

But don't go for mega-vitamins, White says. Too much of some vitamins, such as A and E, can be toxic. The amount in standard multivitamins should be adequate.

If you need to take supplements, Brett Osborn, DO, a neurosurgeon in West Palm Beach, Fla., certified in anti-aging and regenerative medicine and author of Get Serious recommends dividing your vitamins into three doses and taking a third with each meal rather than once in the morning or at night.

If you split it up, it provides a stable level within the bloodstream throughout the day. "If you take one pill," he says, "it could be gone in several hours and not do anything for you the rest of the day.".
