Disability Inclusion Bill - YourSAy and the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion - Duration: 2:07.
I think most people would know that the National Disability Insurance Scheme is rolling out
in South Australia, and this will give people with disabilities much better services to
assist them in their daily lives.
While the National Disability Insurance Scheme will certainly improve the personal supports
that people get, it will not affect the main stream
services that they can expect or should expect
from local government, from government departments
and from
government and business enterprises.
The Disability Inclusion Bill does two things mainly.
First, it defines the rights of people with disabilities.
These are the sorts of rights that exist under the International Charter.
The second thing that it will do is to require government, local government and government business enterprises,
that they actually produce access inclusion plans that specifically indicate how they're
going to go about making sure that people with disabilities are able to gain access to the
services that they provide.
There is a stipulation within the Bill, that the legislation will be reviewed after three
years.
This is always very important.
In the meantime, you can head to yoursay.sa.gov.au and you can download a draft of the Disability
Inclusion Bill, and you can submit your written feedback by clicking on the DCSI disability talk
link, and you can contribute to the discussion board on YourSAy.
Your feedback will be included in a report that details what we've heard, and how we
have used the information, which will then be made available on the YourSAy website.
From there, the Bill, which is drafted will then go back to the Cabinet with the commentary
that has been received from people.
The Bill will be then introduced into the Parliament later in the year.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Why Prince Philip's Retirement Means Big Change for William, Kate, and Harry? - Duration: 4:10.
it was business as usual for the Queen on Friday, following Buckingham Palaces milestone
announcement that the Duke of Edinburgh is stepping down from public duties a month before
his 96th birthday.
While the Duke, who is known not to like a fuss, has escaped to the country for some
peace and quiet, the Queen this afternoon hosted a lunch at Buckingham Palace for Aung
San Suu Kyi of Burma.
Buckingham Palace has been keen to reiterate that Her Majesty will continue to carry
out a full programme of official engagements with the support of members of the Royal Family,
but it was rather telling that she was joined in welcoming the visiting head of state by
her grandson Prince William, something we can expect to see more of in the future.
While Prince Philips decision to step back from public duties has come as no real surprise,
it does mark a period of change for the royal family, particularly the Cambridges and Prince
Harry.
Having had Philip at her side as a loyal consort for the past 70 years, the 91 year old monarch
now faces the rather daunting prospect of carrying out future engagements alone.
Those close to the Queen say that she will rely even more heavily on her family from
now on and that this period will see the emergence of what is being billed Team Windsor.
The Queen sees her children and her grandchildren as her substitutes and now its time for
some of them to get off the bench and join her, according to one senior royal source.
At the Palace, timing is everything, and this period of transition has been pre mediated
and meticulously planned for.
It is no coincidence that the Duke of Cambridge announced that he will be stepping down as
an air ambulance pilot earlier this year.
I revealed a year ago that the Duke is moving his family back to Kensington Palace in London
later this summer when things will change significantly for the family.
Up until now, they have enjoyed a sheltered life in Norfolk juggling their family with
royal duties and their charitable commitments.
Now their workload is set to increase substantially.
The Duke of Edinburgh is patron or president of some 780 organizations and some of these
will be taken on by his grandchildren once the Duke steps down officially this summer.
I am told that the various wildlife and conservation charities the Duke represents have already
been earmarked for his grandsons William and Harry.
The Duchess of Cambridge can also expect more responsibility.
This summer she will take over from the Queen as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and
Croquet Club, which hosts Wimbledon.
It was one of the patronages the Queen handed over as she scaled down her workload last
year and will be one of the Duchesss most high profile roles to date.
But it is not just patronages the young royals are taking on but more responsibility.
They will be expected to accompany the Queen, tour the Commonwealth realms on her behalf,
and step in as consorts on occasions.
While the Duke wont disappear from public life completely, he will be in the picture
far less.
Says a source: At Kensington Palace, aides say that the couple have slowly been increasing
their workload and that the Dukes decision to leave the air ambulance was motivated by
his desire to support the Queen.
According to one courtier, It has been an organic process. William and his wife
will be stepping up their official number of engagements considerably from this
summer onward, and if Fridays appearance is anything to go by, then we can expect to
see Prince William by his grandmothers side more often.

Home Remedies for Cold Sores ❤ Cold Sores on Lips Treatment - Duration: 2:58.
Home Remedies for Cold Sores
Cold sores, also known as fever blisters, usually appear around the lips, nose and chin.
The condition is quite common as well as contagious.
The problem is caused by the herpes simplex virus-1 (HSV-1) and is highly contagious,
especially when the blisters are oozing fluid.
However, the virus does not always cause sores and may even stay dormant permanently.
Here are the top 5 home remedies for cold sores.
1.
Ice
Ice helps reduce the swelling, redness, and pain caused by a cold sore.
Wrap an ice cube in a clean washcloth.
Place it over your cold sore for 10 to 15 minutes.
Repeat this every three to four hours.
2.
Garlic
Garlic has enzymes that work as antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal agents that help
treat cold sores.
In addition, it acts as an anti-inflammatory and reduces swelling and inflammation.
Cut a garlic clove into halves.
Crush one-half and apply it on the affected area.
Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes.
Repeat the process three to five times a day.
Warning: You may feel a burning sensation when applying raw garlic on the blister-like
lesions.
3.
Acetone Nail Polish Remover
Believe it or not, many people have actually tried this remedy and even found it effective.
Acetone is believed to help dry out a cold sore.
Dip a cotton ball in acetone nail polish remover.
Dab it on the cold sore.
Do this several times a day, preferably once an hour.
4.
Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide is great for disinfecting and drying up the sore.
Dip a cotton ball or cotton swab in 3% hydrogen peroxide solution.
Apply it on your cold sore and leave it on for a few minutes.
Do this every few hours.
5.
Licorice Root
This herb prevents and treats cold sores.
It has an active ingredient called glycyrrhizin with antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.
Mix one tablespoon of licorice root powder and one-half teaspoon of water.
Apply it on your cold sore using a cotton swab or your fingertip (make sure your hands
are clean), and leave it on for a few hours.
Do this several times a day.
You can also have licorice root tea or supplements.
If you are prone to cold sores, eat this herb on a regular basis to help minimize outbreaks.
If you have high blood pressure, avoid taking licorice root as it raises blood pressure
and leads to low levels of potassium.

WBZ Evening Forecast For June 4 - Duration: 3:21.
THE 32nd AIDS WALK WAS THIS
MORNING ALONG THE RIVER.
FORTUNATELY IT WAS NICE THIS
MORNING, AND THEN IT QUICKLY
CHANGED.
AND THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS,
WELL, YOU KNOW, JUST GOING TO
HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT.
LET'S CHECK IN WITH BARRY NOW.
THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS OF
WEATHER WON'T BE LIKE OVER THE
WEEKEND.
WE WERE ABLE TO ENJOY SOME
OUTSIDE TIMES WITHOUT TOO MUCH
RAIN.
A FEW SHOWERS YESTERDAY, AND A
FEW LIGHT ONES, AND THEN THE
RAIN THIS AFTERNOON.
LOOKING OUT ON THE GREAT CITY
OF BOSTON, YOU CAN SEE THAT
IT'S RATHER CLOUDY, AND YOU CAN
ALSO SEE THE OLD JOHN HANCOCK
BUILDING RIGHT IN HERE WITH
THIS WEATHER BEACON, AND IT'S
FLASHING BLUE.
FLASHING BLUE, STEADY BLUE
CLEAR VIEW, FLASHING BLUE WE
HAVE CLOUDS DO.
STEADY RED IS RAIN AHEAD, SO
THEY SHOULD BE CHANGING THE
FORECAST HERE AND CHANGING THE
BEACON TO STEADY RED BECAUSE
THAT MEANS THAT RAIN AHEAD AND
FLASHING RED MEANS SNOW INSTEAD
UNLESS IT'S BASEBALL SEASON IN
THE SUMMERTIME, WHEN IT'S
FLASHING RED THAT MEANS THE RED
SOX GAME IS CANCELED.
ANYWAY THAT'S THE BEACON ON THE
HANCOCK TOWER, AND IT SHOULD BE
STEADY RED BECAUSE RAIN IS
AHEAD AND ALREADY HERE.
TEMPERATURES UP CLOSE TO 70 IN
BOSTON.
LOW TO MIDDLE 70s IN MANY
SPOTS.
SO NOT BAD WITH ALL THE
SUNSHINE THIS MORNING, AND
LOOKS LIKE WE'LL HAVE
TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE NATION
TODAY, LOOK AT THIS, 92 THE
HIGH IN CHICAGO.
90 IN MINNEAPOLIS.
THIS WARM AIR IS JUST SO CLOSE,
BUT IT'S NEVER GOING TO MAKE IT
HERE FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK.
MAYBE TOWARD THE END OF THE
WEEK SOME IS COMING IN, BUT THE
WHOLE THING IS CUT OFF AT THE
PASS, AND WE SEE THIS HAPPEN
VERY OFTEN, NOT SO MUCH IN
JUNE, BUT IN THE SPRING WHEN WE
WANT THE WARM AIR TO GET HERE,
AND THE COOL AIR IS YANKED IN
HERE FROM THE NORTH, AND THE
STORM SYSTEM AND RANGE BUT IT'S
NOT GOING TO BE -- RAIN, BUT
IT'S NOT GOING TO BE POURING
RAIN OR A WASHOUT SITUATION
TOMORROW.
WE'LL GO THROUGHOUT THE DAY
WITH PERIODS OF RAIN.
SHOWERS, NOT STEADY RAIN EVERY
SINGLE MINUTE, AND A LOT OF
TIMES LIGHT OR EVEN MISTY.
EVERY NOW AND THEN THERE COULD
BE A DOWNPOUR.
MOST OF THE SUPPORT COMES IN
HERE TOMORROW NIGHT INTO
TUESDAY WHEN THE STORM GETS
ORGANIZED SOUTH OF US.
THE RAIN SHOULD BECOME HEAVIER
AT TIMES AND THE TEMPERATURES
ACTUALLY START TO GO DOWN A
LITTLE BIT TUESDAY.
WATCH THE TEMPERATURES AROUND
50 TO 52 OR EVEN 49 IN BEDFORD
AT 3:00 ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON,
SO THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING
ABOUT, AND THE WINDS PICK UP AS
WELL TO MAKE IT ADD INSULT TO
INJURY.
IT WILL BE RUNNING 15 TO 35
MILES PER HOUR TO THE
NORTHEAST.
SO THAT MAKES IT FEEL COLD.
THE GREATEST RAIN WILL PROBABLY
BE TOMORROW AFTERNOON, AND WHEN
IT'S ALL OVER UP TO AN INCH AND
A HALF.
TO BUS STOP IN THE MORNING WET,
BUT NOT WET EVERY SINGLE
MINUTE.
AND LOOKS LIKE WE'LL HAVE
SOMETIMES LIGHT RAIN AND MIST,
AND OTHER TIMES COMING DOWN
HARDER.
BUT HERE IT IS, IT'S GOING TO
BE SO COLD ON TUESDAY WITH THE
RAIN COMING DOWN AND THE WIND
BLOWING.
IT WILL BE 52, AND IF IT IS
THAT WOULD TIE THE RECORD
LOWEST HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR
JUNE 6th.
52 IS THE LOWEST HIGH
