I'm not sure why it always goes downhill Why broken cisterns never could stay filled,
but I've spent ten years singing gravity away, but the
water keeps on falling from the sky.
So, we're here tonight while the stars are blacking out
with every hope and dream, I've had in doubt.
I've spent ten years tryin to sing the doubts away, but the water keeps on falling from
my eyes.
And- heaven knows.
heaven knows, I've tried to find a cure for all the pain.
Oh my Lord, to suffer like you do, it would be a lie to run away...

RACE FOR THE EMPIRE Jun/28/2017 - Duration: 3:34.Does the term "America first" have different meanings or is it a concept in evolution?
You have been constantly hearing about Russian involvement in us elections. How does President Putin react to it?
Welcome to race for the empire
Because let's be frank
state and non-state actors, everybody somehow wants to rule the world, the real one or the cyber one
This is a brief analysis
The role of the US In other parts of the world is changing under its new leadership. Foreign trade, military plans
security, immigration, investment, aid, among many other issues are being revisited under a different scope
Does this mean the US influence will decrease or increase? or it may only be different. Let's wait to see
But for sure this change will have its collateral effects and may even open up opportunities for other countries
interested in occupying those spaces of leadership
for example China President XI jinping's project called "One belt, One Road"
consisting of 100 billion dollars to invest in infrastructure and tackle poverty in over 60 countries or
President Macron
inviting climate scientists to move to France
Conversely right after President Trump's trip to Middle East and Europe in May
National Security Adviser for the White House General McMaster
along with Gary Cohn Chief Economic adviser for the President
They both wrote a very interesting editorial mentioning, and I quote here:
"America will not lead from behind
America first does not mean America alone it
is a commitment to protecting and advancing our vital interests while also fostering cooperation and
strengthening relationships with our allies and partners
Look for the editorial and you will get a better understanding of how they proclaim to use diplomacy
Economic and military resources to keep leading, but the fact is the usual way
of the US doing things abroad changed and
The outcome may change as well. It is always revealing
To watch leaders in an interview and even more when the questions provoke harsh
reactions, surprise and even mockery. I
Am referring to a recent interview that Megyn Kelly from NBC made to President Putin and
I'll give you a suggestion here in
YouTube look for the full unedited 20 minute interview by Russian Insider
Because the one published by NBC is only 11 minutes, and this one you want to watch at all
You will see a pragmatic man
comparing and making analogies of the critics against him and russia and
Of course there are questions about the apparent role of Russia and the US Elections
It is always very interesting to hear both sides of the story
Before I conclude let me remind you to subscribe to RACE FOR THE EMPIRE
and finally let me ask you this, do you know what the Amazon goal is?
well, it is as follows and I quote:
"We seek to be Earth's most customer centric company", you see!
Everybody wants to rule the world somehow
See you next time

This is Bear!
And this is Cory!
This is the one we got

He was given to me by a-
Well.
Now ex friend, but
he's a little (LOUD WIND NOISES DROWNS OUT THE NEXT PART)
Yeah? Yeah.
Do you have any of your tennis balls out here?
Bear? Cory?
Bear is about as old as Snoopy is.
And I don't see a tennis ball.
Yeah, yeah?
Are you excited? Oooh yeah who's
a good doggy? You're the good doggy!
Yes you are!
There's not really much else to say and I don't wanna
break grandmas camera.
So.
Bye Darrell!
We all love you!

Harmony Mendoza's forecast for Thursday - Duration: 2:04.>> AND RIGHT NOW WE'RE LOOKING
THAT REALTIME VIEW AND BY
MORNING WE'LL SOO A LOT MORE
CLOUD COVER OUT THERE AND BETTER
RAIN CHANCES TO.
WE THINK IT MOVES 40 TO 60% BY
8:00 IN THE MORNING EVEN WHEN WE
PUT THAT FUTURECAST IN MOTION.
IT'S VERY DRY OUT THERE.
BUT THE HUMIDITY LEVEL IS
GRADUALLY INCREASING.
WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING RIGHT
NOW.
WE'RE COMING THE SKIES ON WVTM
13 DOPPLER AND WE DON'T HAVE A
WHOLE LOT OF RAIN.
BUT THE HUMIDITY LEVEL IS UP.
THE FIRST REAL CUE IS BECAUSE
THE TEMPERATURES ARE NOT
DROPPING QUICKLY.
IT'S 80 DEGREES IN THE MAGIC
CITY.
5 I CCOLIRA.
THAT TEMPERATURE IS NOT GOING TO
DROP VERY QUICKLY TONIGHT.
BUT IT WILL DROP ONCE THE
SHOWERS PICK UP.
YOU CAN KIND OF SEE THE
OUTSKIRTS OF THIS CLOUD SHIELD.
NOTICE THE RAIN BEGAN TO
DISSAPATE.
BUT IT IS VERY PRONOUNCED.
WE'LL GET TO WHY IN JUST A
MOMENT.
HUMIDITY IS ON THE WISE THAT
RAIN IS GOING THE BE ON THE GULF
OF MEXICO.
IT MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES.
WE'VE SEEN THE TROPICAL STORM
POUR DOWN BUCKETS OF RAIN.
WE DO HAVE THOSE ISOLATED CELLS.
BUT WE'LL SEE A LOT MORE
INCREASE WITH THAT COVERAGE BY
3:00 IN THE AFTERNOON.
THERE'S AN AREA THAT'S ALONG THE
FRONT AND IT WILL TAP INTO A
GREAT DEAL OF MOISTURE.
BY 3:00 A SOME MOISTURE.
THAT'S 5:00 IN THE MORNING ON
FRIDAY MORNING.
THAT WOULD BE A NASTY TRAVEL
TIME PERIOD THERE.
BUT NOTICE THE COUNTER-CLOCKWISE
SPIN.
ONCE THAT LOW PRESSURE CENTER
STARTS TO MAKE ITS WAY TOWARDS
THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST OUR RAIN
CHANCES POP UP.
TH HAPPENS ON SUNDAY.
RAIN CHANCES ARE PRETTY HIGH ALL%
THE WAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND AT
THE BEACH IF YOU'RE GOING TO
STAY HERE LOCALLY YOU SHOULD BE
JUST FINE.
WE DO HAVE THE RAIN CHANCES
STARTING TO BECOME MORE HIT AND
MISS BY THE WEEKEND.

Passengers trying to head overseas stuck at Logan Airport for days - Duration: 2:09.MONDAY, ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE
WEEK.
LET'S GET YOU THAT STORY NOW.
FRUSTRATED DOESN'T BEGIN TO CUT
IT.
>> NOBODY BELIEVES THIS STORY
BUT IT IS TRUE.
JULIE: IN THIS SEA OF HUNDREDS,
MANY OF THESE PASSENGERS HAVE
BEEN WAITING TO GET ON AN
AZORES/SATA AIRLINES FLIGHT
SINCE SUNDAY OR MONDAY.
>> OUR VACATION STARTED BEING IN
THE AIRPORT FOR THREE DAYS,
MAYBE FOUR DAYS.
WE'RE NOT SURE YET.
>> ALL I'VE BEEN HEARING FROM
SATA, ME AND EVERYBODY ELSE
THAT'S BEEN HERE, LIES.
JULIE: STANDING, SITTING,
WAITING, WORRYING FOR DAYS.
ACCORDING TO PASSENGERS, THE
PROBLEMS BEGAN SUNDAY EVENING
WHEN THEY WERE INFORMED ALL
FLIGHTS TO PORTUGAL WERE
GROUNDED
>> THIS IS MY THIRD DAY HERE
WAITING FOR A FLIGHT.
THIRD DAY.
EACH DAY THEY TELL YOU TO COME
BACK THE NEXT DAY.
THEY DON'T TELL YOU THE TIME,
THEY DON'T TELL YOU ANYTHING
ELSE.
JULIE: ED CABRAL HAS BEEN
SHUTTLING BACK AND FORTH ONE
HOUR EACH WAY TO THE HOTEL
PROVIDED BY THE AIRLINE, BUT
HE'S HAD TO PAY THE CAB FARE.
>> ALL THESE PEOPLE THAT ARE
LINED UP?
IT IS JUST PURE FRUSTRATION.
YOU CAN'T GO TO THE BATHROOM,
YOU HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE.
NO ONE COMES OUT AND MANAGES
ANYTHING
WE DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING THAT
IS BEING SAID AT THIS IN TIME.
POINTIT IS DISAPPOINTING.
WE HAVE LOST HOTELS, WE HAVE
LOST APPOINTMENTS, WE HAVE LOST
CONNECTING FLIGHTS, AND WE HAVE
NO IDEA WHAT WE ARE GOING TO GET
IN RETURN.
WE DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO
HAPPEN WHEN WE GET TO THE FRONT
OF THE LINE.
THIS IS AN EXERCISE IN FUTILITY.
IT'S AN EMBARRASSMENT, AND I
REALLY THINK THAT SOMETHING
SHOULD BE DONE.
JULIE: IN A STATEMENT, AZORES
AIRLINE SAID A SERIES OF
TECHNICAL ISSUES TOOK OUT TWO OF
THE LONG-RANGE FLEET, CAUSING
DIFFICULTY FROM BOSTON TO
PORTUGAL.
OUR TEAM HAS TRIED TO GET LOCAL
AIRPORT OFFICIALS TO INFORM
IMPACTED PASSENGERS.
THE AIRLINE WENT ON TO SAY THEY
HOPE ALL OF THIS IS RESTORED AND
ALL OF THE FLIGHTS RESTORED BY
THE END OF THE DAY TOMORROW.

A NEW INVESTIGATION HAS

DISEASE.
BRIANNA SMITH TALKED TO STATE
HEALTH OFFICIALS.
WHAT HAVE YOU FOUND OUT?
TODAY SEVERAL EMPLOYEES AT
THE BELT DISTRIBUTION CENTER IN
JONESVILLE WERE TESTED FOR TB
AFTER THEY WERE IN CLOSE RANGE
WITH AN EMPLOYEE WHO IS NOW
BEING TREATED FOR THE DISEASE.
THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND
ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL DESCENDED
ON THE BELT DISTRIBUTION CENTER
TODAY TESTING EMPLOYEES FOR A
DANGEROUS INFECTION.
HISTORICALLY, TUBERCULOSIS
WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR SIGNIFICANT
MORBIDITY AND MORTALITY.
Reporter: ON JUNE 16 AN
EMPLOYEE TESTED POSITIVE FOR
TB.
THEY WERE REMOVED AND STARTED
GETTING TREATMENT IMMEDIATELY.
WE INITIATE A CONTACT
INVESTIGATION AROUND EACH
ACTIVE CASE OF TUBERCULOSIS
REPORTED IN SOUTH CAROLINA.
Reporter: AN INFECTION THAT
SPREADS IN THE AIR THROUGH
COUGHS AND SNEEZEs NOW PUTS AN
ENTIRE FACILITY AT RISK.
DHEC EVALUATION THE AIR
HANDLING FACILITY.
WHAT WE LOOK AT IS HOW OPEN
IS THE SPACE WHERE THE
INDIVIDUAL WHO WAS INFECTED
WAS.
Reporter: WHICH THEY SAY WAS
RELATIVELY LOW RISK DUE TO
THEIR 98 HVAC SYSTEMS ON SIDE
WORKING.
DHEC TURNS TO THOSE WHO WORK
CLOSEST.
FROM THE HOME TO THE WORK
SITE TO OTHER PLACES THEY
FREQUENT IN THE COMMUNITY WE
INVESTIGATE THOSE CONTACTS.
Reporter: INVESTIGATIONS
LIKE THIS AREN'T RARE IN THE
UPSTATE.
IN 2016 THEY SAW 15 CASES OF TB
LAST YEAR.
THEY HOPE WITH AWARENESS ABOUT
THE EASY TREATMENT OF THE
INFECTION THAT THOSE NUMBERS
WILL CONTINUE TO DECREASE.
WE HAVE DONE A REALLY GOOD
JOB INVESTIGATING PEOPLE WHO
HAVE ACTIVE TUBERCULOSIS
INFECTIONS.
WE FOLLOW UP WITH THE
INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE INFECTED
WITH TB BUT NOT NECESSARILY
ILL, AND WE CAN TREAT THEM TO
PREVENT THEM FROM DEVELOPING TB
DISEASE.
AND OBVIOUSLY THEY TESTED
THESE PEOPLE TODAY.
THEY HAVEN'T GOTTEN THE TEST
RESULTS BACK.
WE WILL BE FOLLOWING UP.
THERE IS VACCINES FOR A LOT OF
THESE DIES.
HOW ABOUT TUBERCULOSIS?
THERE IS ONE.
I THOUGHT THERE WASN'T.
WHEN I WAS TALKING TO DR. BELL
SHE SAYS, CORRECTION, THERE IS
A VACCINE.
IT'S ONLY USED OVERSEAS.
IT'S NOT USED HERE IN THE U.S.
BECAUSE WE ARE SEEING A
DECREASE OF THE CASES.

RHENN WEAVER: THE MORE COURTS

Sciatica Pain Relief (BEST EXERCISES FOR SCIATIC PAIN) - Duration: 4:07.Dom McKay musculoskeletal therapists here to show you how to relieve your
sciatic pain but first of all what is sciatica. sciatica describes the pain
that specifically follows the line of the sciatic nerve. it's usually felt in
the lower back down through the buttocks hamstrings and even as far as a lower
leg. now this pain is usually felt unilaterally meaning that it's only on
one side. common causes of sciatica include disc herniation spinal
degeneration facet joint injuries piriformis syndrome sacroiliac joint
dysfunction. considering the causes of sciatica are, numerous I'm going to outline
three exercises that are safe and effective regardless of the underlying
cause. for this exercise we're aiming to stretch the piriformis muscle which runs
deep within the buttock so you'll need to lie on your back and lift one leg and
place the ankle on the opposite knee. now reach down and grab the other leg and
assist the stretch by pulling back and opening up the hip with with the
elbow here. you can relax in this position for 30 to 60 seconds or even
longer if it's comfortable. you want to repeat this on the other side as well
even if you don't have sciatica on that side it's important to keep yourself
balanced. this next exercise is a lovely backbend you might know it as the Cobra
if you do yoga. so you'll need to lie on your front and place the hands under the
shoulders. now drawing your body up assists the backbend by pressing down on
the floor with your hands. so only go as far as is comfortable in the
exercise and if it's too strong you can simply just drop down to the elbows. any
amount of back bending will help with sciatica so just work at your own level.
the spinal twist helps with mobility in the lower back. so again you're going to
have to lie on your back and straighten out one leg. one leg is going to remain
bent and we're going to place that foot on the opposite knee and begin to bring
the knee to the floor on the other side of your body. you might need to shift
your hips across a little bit to make the stretch a bit more comfortable. it's
good to twist your head in the opposite way to keep the twist going through the
spine and you can increase the stretch by placing the hand on the knee and
pushing down on it. so you'll want to do this on both sides. any of these
stretches can be held for 30 to 60 seconds or if you're comfortable even
longer is even better. these three exercises are the most crucial for
short-term relief. if you're suffering from sciatica you're going to need
treatment and as part of that treatment plan you may be given other exercises
that are more specific to your particular issues. but that requires a
proper assessment and a real evaluation of exactly what's causing your pain. let
me know how you go with these exercises in the comments. I'm happy to answer any
questions you have there. there's a link to my website in the description below.

Introduction to the ningina tunapri exhibition for teachers - Duration: 9:46.Hi my name is Teangi Brown.
I am a Umpila Karntju Kuku Yalangi
Trawlwoolway Bonorong man and also the Tasmanian Aboriginal Learning
Facilitator here at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery or TMAG as you'll
hear me saying. I'm here to give you a brief overview of the ningina tunapri gallery
and to show you how you and your students can get the best out of
your self guided experience. Let's get started.
TMAG has worked with the Tasmanian Aboriginal Community to
showcase 40,000 years of Aboriginal culture and heritage in this exhibition.
ningina tunapri means to share knowledge and understanding. This gallery
provides a unique and special opportunity for you and for your students to develop
a deeper appreciation of Tasmanian Aboriginal culture. When you arrive, your
experience will begin before you enter the gallery. Every visitor to TMAG is
welcomed to Aboriginal land - muwinina Country. Listen here with your group.
The language that you will hear is palawa kani, the revived Tasmanian Aboriginal
language. palawa kani is a composite language constructed from several
traditional languages spoken across Tasmania at the time of European contact.
All of the Aboriginal language used in the gallery is palawa kani. An English
translation of this Welcome to Country is here on the wall. We suggest you
frame a visit to ningina tunapri by using the layout and design of the
gallery as your guide. Each display in the gallery is an island, representing the
hundreds of islands that make up lutruwita/Tasmania and our unique island
culture. Each island display speaks to a different facet of Aboriginal culture or
history in lutruwita/Tasmania. The canoe is the first object you see and this
canoe will take you on your journey across the water from island display to
island display.
This canoe was built in 2007 by a group of pakana/Tasmanian Aboriginal men as a way to
revive the skills and knowledge of their ancestors. The bark canoe also
demonstrates the skills used to survive and thrive in lutruwita in traditional times.
For example navigation skills and the use of locally available materials.
These traditional skills were disrupted with the British Invasion of lutruwita.
Reviving these skills has been achieved through community action
and with the help of museum collections. By using this 1840s model canoe from the
TMAG collection, the makers of today were able to learn from their ancestors how
to build this important cultural object.
The traditional ways of life across lutruwita can be explored by engaging with this hut display.
This replica hut shows the type of housing that Aboriginal people on the
West Coast of lutruwita/Tasmania typically lived in for months at a time.
These displays are an opportunity for students to explore the role and purpose
of stone tools, spears, waddies and grinding stones, which helps focus
attention on hunting and gathering practices. For over 40,000 years, pakana
Aboriginal people of lutruwita have used their deep skills and knowledge of
the land to provide everything they needed to thrive. For over 2,000 generations,
knowledge of Country and tool-making skills have been passed down from elders
to children through cultural practices and ceremony.
With the invasion of their homelands, Aboriginal ways of life were forever changed.
British laws and traditions were imposed upon the land and the people of lutruwita.
lntroduced diseases such as tuberculosis and frontier violence
caused many deaths. This proclamation board was an attempt by an early
Governor of Tasmania to communicate British law to Aboriginal people.
It tried to show that harmony could be achieved if British Law was accepted and
that all would be treated equally. The reality was very different
and there was much conflict and death. This conflict - known as the Black War -
reached its peak in the 1820s. A more detailed look into this period of
Tasmania's history can be explored through visiting the "Our Land: parrawa, parrawa!
Go Away!" gallery in the Bond Store. After the Black War the surviving Aboriginal
people were exiled to the Wybalenna Mission on Flinders Island.
This showcase contains objects collected from Wybalenna.
Fanny Cochrane Smith was a descendant of
survivors of the Black War who were exiled from their homelands to the Wybalenna
Mission. Growing up on Flinders Island she was taught her family's
traditional language as well as English. You can hear her singing here in the gallery.
This important audio is the only surviving sound recording of a
traditional Tasmanian Aboriginal language and is of global significance.
They have recently been added to the UNESCO Memory of the World register.
Well-known in her day, Fanny Cochrane Smith had 11 children and now has hundreds of
descendants. This display island records a time when the outside world thought
there were no Aboriginal people in Tasmania. This flag represents how Aboriginal
people on the Bass Strait Islands built community through shared traditions and
through sports like football. During World War One, Aboriginal men from the Bass
Strait Islands fought for the British Empire and lost their lives on the
Western Front at a time when they were not considered equal. Memorial plaques
will given to all families of deceased servicemen and women. This one was given
to the Brown family. You can learn more about the Aboriginal servicemen from the
Bass Strait Islands by visiting this website.
Use this interactive timeline to explore the significant moments in the
story of contact between Tasmanian Aborigines and Europeans. Each shell on
this timeline represents a generation of Tasmanian Aboriginal people. There are
over 2,000 shells. This display island showcases some of the
achievements of Tasmania's Aboriginal community since the 1960s through
protest and political action. This petroglyph, removed from its original
location, therefore destroying its story
demonstrates why the protection of Aboriginal heritage through legislation
is vital. The t-shirt highlights the ongoing debate about celebrating
Australia Day on January 26 and the legacy of invasion. This pipe, which
belonged to William Lanne can lead your students to a discussion of how
Aboriginal human remains have been treated. Responding to calls from the
Tasmanian Aboriginal community in 1976, TMAG was the first museum in
Australia to return Aboriginal human remains from collections to the
community for proper burial. TMAG continues to work with Indigenous
communities to return cultural artifacts and human remains from its collection.
This large display area at the far end of the gallery highlights significant cultural
practices in the Tasmanian Aboriginal community. These videos demonstrate
basket weaving, bull kelp water carriers, shell stringing and dance continued
within the community.
One of the most important cultural practices that continues to connect Tasmanian
Aboriginal families is mutton birding. The annual mutton birding season brings
together community members from across the state. The hard work of catching the
birds, harvesting the meat and collecting the mutton bird oil is on display here.
Younger students in particular are enthralled at the thought of collecting the chicks from their
burrows whilst being on the lookout for snakes and lizards!
The museum provides additional resources
to help you and your students get the most out of your visit. Here is the
Teacher's Backpack, free to borrow containing hands-on objects and
information - which you can preview on our website and book before coming on your
self-guided visit. There is also this Teacher's Guide: "Voices of Aboriginal Tasmania"
a PDF available from the TMAG website,
full of additional information and ideas for your self guided visit.
Prior to your visit students can preview some of the objects
on display in the ningina tunapri gallery by visiting TMAG's Shaping
Tasmania website. Look for the Shaping Tasmania logo to find these objects in
the gallery. You can book in now for a self-guided visit for your class through
our online booking form. A well-planned visit to ningina tunapri is a unique
opportunity to enable your students to think about and better understand past
and present Tasmanian Aboriginal culture.
Nothing beats experiencing the real thing! We hope that you and your students enjoy
your visit to the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery and that we'll see you here soon.
