Waching daily Jun 30 2017

it's Friday fool and you need this tool

welcome back to another glorious episode of it's Friday fool you need this tool my

name is Kyle Voss and every Friday I bring you a tool that I use here in

this shop or that I have featured on this channel

this week's tool is a very cool tool mainly because it's not created by some

fancy big company some large manufacturer it's created by somebody

just like you a subscriber of this channel there's really nothing more than

I like to do than to help out you guys I mean a lot of you guys might not know

but if you have contacted me I always try to respond if you've hit me up for

some kind of business inquiry I've always tried to help you in any way that

I can is tough a lot of times but listen not for a second do I forget why I get

to do what I get to do and that's because if you guys so like I said this

is a very special tool it's not one of you guys it's by one of you guys this

week's tool is the bead forming tool so I've done several tools one I've done

several tool videos that basically feature a tool that forms a bead on the

end of tubing one of those tools being my tool one that I basically wanting I

didn't think of it but I brought it to you guys this tool is very similar that

except for it's done extremely well it's done a lot better than what basically I

brought you guys and that is this beef forming tool this tool is made by

Bacchus Bacchus I hope I'm saying that right back to centre prizes it is a bead

forming tool

basically where this thing works is if you so do you have any kind of

Brewster's application what does it have to be boosted if you have a naturally

aspirated application that you want to do right and you want to form a bead on

the end of that key beam for the boost applications you want to make sure it's

not blowing those couplers off you need a bead on the end of it that beads

basically going to help that hose clamp hold that tubing on so it doesn't blow

off under boost the way to do that is with a tool like this

now like I said I have featured my own version of this but this one is made way

better than the version that I gave you now called the job or do I guess and

it's got a mount for a vise or you can bolt it in I usually just kind of

squeeze this thing up in a vise and then you just can work to lever it's got an

adjustment here just work the lever and then if you notice on the end it has

these special special tooth setup on the bottom has this basically lower mandrel

Bend die how long those you call it and then he's made a piece that goes on the

top that is custom for that and then as you clamp it it this forms this really

nice bead in there for your tubing so the way that this works very simply

mount doesn't advise you have the tubing that you need to be roll you slide the

tubing in until it basically meets the back of this piece here and then just

give it a squeeze keep it a squeeze pretty simple right so when you're done

you have this nice nicely radius bead around the tubing it's going to help you

from blowing off any tubing and you know if you run an intercooler

piping and for a turbo stuff our blower setup that's kind of basically fix your

province the nice thing about this thing too is you can really throw your tool

bag ticket the track you have any issues while you're there

Auto crossing at the drag strip drifting whatever it is you can make some new

beads with this part the bead forming tool by Bacchus enterprises not only

does he make this tool you also make some other tools one of which being this

nice shop towel holder this one came custom with the mr. B's sticker on it

but anyway these are not having to shop on your workbench basically to slide

from shop towels over the top you feed one out right here it's easy to tear off

good stuff so not only does it have this amazing tool celsa offers these as I

always do I will put some links in the description you can check them out the

support someone like you a local subscriber that makes his own stuff by

the way hats are available right now on q5 com if you've been wanting a hat you

better go get one because they go fast all color combinations except for this

one of course but all the other ones all the all the hats all the colors all the

sizes get all the sizes this time small some larges the extra extra larges

they're all available kill Feb com if you want to had to pick one up but like

I said you better alright guys there you go this week's

tools the bead forming tool this is an amazing tool very good construction this

thing works awesome I mean if this is something that you think you might need

I definitely suggest you to check it out like I said I'll put links in

description and there's your opportunity to go support another subscriber of this

channel as always thank you for joining me I'm sure I'll see you guys more this

week y'all go do work son no no that's melon so say it's Friday

Poutine Pizza for Canada Day! – Eat The Pizza! #9 - Duration: 7:59.

Ba da ba ba da da

Da na na na da na na na

Ba na na na na

Da da da da da ba dee doo

Hi, I'm Christian!

I'm Alyssia!

And welcome to Eat The Pizza.

And today we're celebrating…

Canada Day!

Eh?

And we're makin' POUTINE PIZZA!

Let's eat the pizza, shall we?

Great.

Poutine!

We got some fries!

Classic poutine essential ingredient.

So I've got these frozen French fries from the store.

You wanna open mine?

Yeah!

Easily, by the way.

Take your time.

Alright, so it says to arrange them in a single layer and then flip,

but I think if we just put them on a baking rack, then we don't gotta do the flipping,

because flipping each individual fry, I don't know about you, but—

Not into that.

I don't wanna do that.

If we had to do that, I'd say, uh,

"New recipe."

No you wouldn't.

This layer is not a single layer.

What?

They can't be touching if you want them to get crisped.

Alright, that looks fine, I think let's put it in the oven.

Time to make the gravy!

Time to make the gravy

Can't have poutine without gravy, I mean, c'mon.

I've only had poutine once, and it was when—

What?

We had it the one night we went out for your birthday in Canada!

We got poutine,

At 3 o'clock in the morning.

We went to visit our friends, Sara Lynn and Sara Bolen,

who both have YouTube channels, by the way,

and they are actually the reason that we are doing this episode for Canada Day,

because they're my Canadian friends.

And, actually, right now, on this day that you're watching this,

unless you watched it after the day that it launched,

we are with them right now in Nashville,

just celebrating—

Not Canada Day!

We're just celebrating life.

Sarah Bolen was like, "Oh I wanna be back to Canada before Canada Day,"

and then I was like, oh we should do a Canada Day pizza!

So here it is.

That's the story of how this episode began.

Whisk, Christian.

Whisk, whisk, whisk.

Tsssssssssssssss.

There's a fly, hold on wait!

What?!

Where's the fly-sucker?!

Where is it?

It's gone!

I just said it's gone.

We have a little bit of a fly problem right now,

so we bought this fly-sucker.

Okay.

Whisk it uuuuup.

Whisk it up.

Whisk it whisk it up.

Use your whisking MUSCLES.

Oh, we gotta whisk in ketchup and black pepper.

Just a little teaspoon of ketchup.

And…

So now we're gonna turn it down and let it simmer for ten minutes.

Come here little fly.

Flyyyy, oh fly.

Where's the fly?

And we're back!

So, the fries are out of the oven,

we actually kept them in the oven for like twice as long.

What we're gonna do is turn this into a crust.

We're gonna make a crust and sort of glue the fries together

with some mozzarella cheese

Fill it with fries!

I love fries.

I love all potatoes.

Some mozzarella glue.

No, but it is a nonstick pan.

I never actually believe that works, but I'm gonna hope it does right now.

Uh, Joe, I specifically bought this pan because it's oven-safe!

Did you hear me at the beginning of the video?

Alright I think it's probably good.

Here we go, folks!

No!

No!

Where'd it go?!

It's up there!

Where?

Where?

Oh, right there!

Cruuuust!

A PIZZA CRUST!

We've got to put on our gravy and our…

CHEESE CURDS!

Christian, what the heck are cheese curds?

Well, they're curds that are made from cheese and you enjoy them—

Ow, I just touched it.

"Made from cheese."

"Simply put, cheese curds are squeaky, fresh, delectable cheddar cheese

in it's natural, random shape and form before being processed into bl—

bleh-bleh-bleh

Wow, okay, great!

Let's do it.

We got the sauce.

Back in the oven it goes, everybody.

Ooooooh!

It's like I'm in an old western.

And while that's baking, it's time…

For the Pizza Fact of the Day!

Aaaaaaahhhhhh!

Say whaaaaaaat?!

What is the pizza fact of the day?

I know it already, what am I sayin'.

You do?

Yeah.

Oh.

I forgot it, so you tell us.

It's easy to remember let me tell you.

Kay.

Did you know…

Oh!

I remember it!

Okay.

You remember it, let's hear it.

Um, I mean, I don't remember the specifics…

C'mon!

C'mon!

But I remember that the guy who invented Hawaiian pizza,

ya know ham and pineapple combo,

was actually from Canada.

Canada, eh!

Perfect.

Down home in Canada, eh.

Perfect for Canada Day-eh!

Perfect—it's, it's…

Perfect for Canada Day.

Also I think he just died.

He passed, that's the fact.

It's sad, but thanks for inventing the Hawaiian pizza,

we appreciate it.

R.I.P. in peace to you, buddy.

POUTINE PIZZA!

And now, it's time…

To eat the pizza.

The poutine pizza!

EAT THE POUTINE PIZZA!

Eh?

Let's do it.

Eh!

Oh so-orry.

Oh so-orry about that.

Cheers.

You can actually pick it up!

MMMMMMMMMM!

I've gotta say, it's all tasty flavors and it's not a surprise.

Yeah.

But, what is a surprise is that it actually worked.

Yeah.

It held together.

I was really worried about the crust falling apart,

but the mozzarella glue worked and we didn't even have to mash up the fries.

I wanted them to stay like actual fry pieces.

Mhmmm.

And they did.

Cheese curds are good,

the gravy turned out really—

The gravy is actually—it tastes like the gravy you get on a real poutine.

Yeah.

It's just a simple beef gravy recipe, but I would highly recommend this recipe,

and I didn't think I was going to necessarily recommend this recipe,

because I thought it wasn't going to work, so I'm really excited.

I gotta say, poutine pizza, huge success.

I'm a big fan.

Bigger success than I anticipated.

We'll put our recipe for poutine pizza on our website, EatThePizzaShow.com,

and be sure to follow us on social, @eatthepizzashow.

And, don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe if you enjoyed this video.

We will see you next week…

On Eat The Pizza.

We should re-do that.

Something about grabbing a fresh slice when you haven't even finished one

that's just really satisfying.

You got that right, mate!

Mmmmm, cheese curds.

Republican Congressman Says He Shouldn't Pay For Maternity Leave Because He Has An X Chromosome - Duration: 4:32.

Republican Texas representative Pete Olson appeared on a right wing talk show on Friday

morning, to lament the fact that the Affordable Care Act, Obamacare, forces insurance companies

to pay for things that men can't use.

For example, prenatal care.

Obviously that doesn't necessarily apply to men.

We don't take any kind of prenatal care.

So why would anyone, according to Pete Olson, with an X chromosome need to be paying for

these kinds of things?

Furthermore, he said maternity leave shouldn't happen.

He shouldn't have to foot the bill for that, again, because he has an X chromosome.

Those were his words, "Because I have an X chromosome, why should I give a damn about

women in this country, and pay for anything that benefits them?"

Let me go ahead and spell this out for you in several different ways.

First of all, if we're talking about prenatal care, and maternity care, and caring for children

... I don't know if you realize this, but it's not the 1600s anymore.

That's not just a woman's job.

Men should care about the health, and safety, and wellbeing of their children.

So, you know what?

It's okay that we pay for that.

We pay to have our children cared for.

I don't see anything wrong with that, because it does affect you, you idiot.

Second, I'm not in your district.

My tax dollars help pay for your salary, but since you don't represent me, I guess I shouldn't

pay for your salary anymore.

I guess most of us shouldn't pay for your salary anymore.

See how that logic that you use against women, "because you don't use it, you shouldn't have

to pay for it" ... See how that applies to other situations as well?

My house has never caught on fire, yet I still pay to have a fire department.

I've never been arrested.

I've never had to have someone arrested, yet I still pay for police.

Everything affects everybody, folks.

That's part of living in a community, living in a country, living with other people.

We have to take care of one another, and we have to care about one another.

Because if we don't, it descends into anarchy.

But that's the republican way.

Screw you, I've got mine, I'm not going to help you.

I'm going to continue making my $174,000 a year salary, and bitch about a few of those

tax dollars going to pay for women to have maternal leave, and prenatal care.

That is the epitome of selfishness, and it is represented within the Republican Party;

in this specific case, by Texas representative Pete Olson.

We should care.

Just because you have an X chromosome doesn't mean that women's issues don't affect you.

Or do you not care what happens to women in this country?

Do you not care what happens to your mother, or your sister, or your daughter, or your

friends, or your wife?

Are you that close minded?

Or maybe you're a single guy, maybe your mother abandoned you.

Maybe there are absolutely no women in your life.

But does that mean everybody else's family and friends has to suffer, just because you've

got something against women?

I think a representative like yourself would fit in less in America.

Maybe you should try traveling over to Saudi Arabia.

I think you could do great as a politician over there, with your backwards view of women's

role in society, and how people, not just men, but all people, should be taking care

of one another.

So, why don't you go move over to one of those misogynistic countries where women have absolutely

no rights?

They can't even show their face in public.

That's where you belong, with these kinds of political views.

You do not belong in the United States.

We're far more progressive than that, or at least we should be.

Move to one of those regressive countries, and I promise you, your political career will

take off like you could never imagine.

How to Make a Wire Skeleton for your Dolls - Duration: 12:21.

Hey everyone.

I'm Liz and today I'm going to show you how to create a wire skeleton for your dolls.

You can use this technique to give your doll's body more support, or to make the doll pose-able.

This skeleton is easy to make, is very strong, and can support a variety of poses.

And you can make it in any size you like.

For this tutorial, you'll need some wire.

I'm using 22 gauge craft wire.

I like this wire because its a little thinner, and easier to bend with your hands.

But you might want to use something to bend your wire, like some pliers.

You'll also need something to cut your wire.

You might also want to use something to measure each part of the skeleton, to make sure it's

the right size.

You'll need to crochet a doll to add the wire to.

I'll be using this doll.

You can find the video tutorial or the written pattern for this doll by clicking the link

on the screen, or check in the description below.

I'll be making my doll after I finish making the skeleton, and adding the skeleton to the

doll as I make it.

And if you want, you could use a yarn needle and some yarn in the same color as your doll

to sew the skeleton in place, so that it doesn't shift around inside the doll.

If you want you could use a regular needle and thread to do this.

I'm going to begin my doll's skeleton at the top of the head.

So the first thing I'm going to do is to fold down about a half inch at the tip of my wire,

just so that the sharp end stays inside the head and doesn't poke through the top of the

doll.

Then I'm just going to unravel the wire for the full length I want for my doll to be,

from head to foot.

That's going to be about 12 inches.

So I'm going to unravel the length of the body.

Then the legs.

Then the foot.

I like to include the length of the foot in this, but you don't have to if you aren't

making the ankles pose-able.

So I unraveled about 12 inches of the wire.

Next I'm going to fold the bottom of my wire into a loop.

Then I'm going to unravel the full length of 1 leg, from foot to hip.

That's going to be about 7 inches.

So I'm going to fold that up.

Then at the 7 inch mark, I'm going to coil this piece of wire around this piece of wire

to join them together.

This folded part is going to be the first leg.

Now I'm going to make the other leg the same way, but in reverse.

I'm going to unravel about 7 more inches of wire.

And then, fold the bottom into a loop.

Then unravel the full length of the body again, and coil it around at the 7 inch mark.

Then fold it all the way up to the top of the head.

Now I have 2 legs.

Now I'm going to wrap this piece of wire around this piece of wire at the top.

And form a loop.

Then I'm going to continue to coil the wire around these wires, from the top of the head

to the bottom of the neck, to lash all those wires together.

I'm going to coil until I reach about 2 and a half inches down.

Alright, I've reached the end of the neck.

Now I'm going to do the same thing I did to create the legs down here, to make the arms.

I'm going to unravel the length I want for the arms, from shoulder to hand.

That's going to be about 5 inches.

And then, fold the bottom into a loop.

Then unravel the full length of the arm again, and coil it around at the 5 inch mark.

Then I'm going to do the same thing on the other side to make the other arm.

Unravel about 5 inches.

Fold the bottom into a loop.

Then unravel the full length of the arm again, and coil it around at the 5 inch mark.

Ok, now I've got the rough skeleton done.

If you want you could just leave it like this if you just want to add some structure to

the doll.

But if you want to make the doll pose-able, you should add some strength to your skeleton

by coiling the wire around the whole thing.

So just like I did at the neck, I'm going to coil my wire around these 2 pieces of wire

at the stomach, to lash those wires together.

And when I get to the leg, I'm going to do the same thing.

Coil the wire around all the way to the bottom.

And I'm going to leave this loop at the bottom.

Then I'm going to turn the skeleton slightly.

And I'm going to coil the wire back up the other way, to get to the next leg.

Alright, now I'm going to do the same thing to the other leg.

I finished coiling my wire around the legs.

Now I'm going to coil the other way back up the stomach until I get to where the arms

are.

And I'm going to do the same thing I did at the legs.

I'm going to coil all the way to the bottom, and leave the loop at the bottom.

Then coil back up the other way.

Alright, I've finished coiling my doll's arms.

Next I'm going to coil the wire back up the neck to the top of the head.

Alright, I've coiled the wire around the entire skeleton.

If you're using a thicker wire, you could leave it like this and cut off your wire.

But I'm going to coil around the whole thing 1 more time just to give it a little more

strength, since the wire I'm using is so thin.

Now I've finished coiling the wire all around the skeleton 2 times, and I've gotten back

to the top of the head.

Now I'm going to cut off my wire with a little bit of excess.

And I'm going to coil that excess back down for about a half inch, just so that the sharp

end stays inside the head and doesn't poke through the doll.

Now I've finished making my skeleton.

And then I'm going to add the skeleton to my doll.

I've finished making about halfway down the doll's body, before making the arms and legs.

So now I'm going to take each of the arms of the skeleton, and bend them so they're

reaching up.

Then I'm going to insert them through the armholes of the doll like its putting on a

shirt.

Then once the arms are through, I'm going to pull the neck up into the head of the doll.

And now the skeleton in inside the doll, I'm going to finish making the arms and legs.

Once again, you can find the tutorial for how I made this doll in the description below.

Once I've finished making my doll, I'm going to attach the skeleton to the doll so it doesn't

shift out of place.

This is entirely optional if you want to skip this step.

So I'm going to start with the arms.

First I'm going to find the loop at the end of the arm, and I'm going to push the loop

at the end out of the material.

Then I'm going to use a yarn needle and some yarn of the same color.

And I'm going to sew the end of the loop to the doll's arm.

And once I finish sewing, I'm just going to push that loop back inside the doll.

And I'm going to sew in this end.

Then I'm going to do the same thing with each end of the wire skeleton.

And now my doll is complete.

CAF Story | Capt Maciej 'Match' Hatta pilots 360 videos for Snowbirds - Duration: 2:17.

Actually, funny enough, videos got me into wanting to be a pilot.

So, back in the day, in Toronto,

my dad took home a promotional company video

and it had a Blue Angels music video at the end of that.

I watched that once and then I watched it another hundred times

and I was hooked and I said: "That's what I want to do."

I'm Captain Maciej "Match" Hatta, Snowbird 3

with the Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds.

I just love the freedom you have with wings and with an airplane

like you're able to do…

obviously within the rules and environment that we have

that you're able to float around.

And whether in formation or separately, it's just,

it's an indescribable passion for a thirst for being in the air.

I've had a unique experience in my life

with all the vantage points I've seen,

whether being over Parliament, or seeing the CN Tour rush past

as I'm watching the boss' jet off my right wing.

I want to be able to share those views

with as many people as possible.

And we do have the claim to be the first North American jet team

to use 360 camera technology.

It allows you to see a bunch of different angles at once,

and analyze the show that way, and airs and debriefs that way.

But more so, it allows the people at home watching it

to be brought into the cockpit.

Whereas, we can't unfortunately share

this experience with a lot of people

in terms of flights, we can try to bring them into the cockpit

through the 360 camera technology.

I got turned around by a video I saw.

That was a turning moment for me.

So, if I can instil that same flicker in some young child's mind

or that same passion or that same "Hey, I want to try that!"

Or "I want to be in that video one day!"

If I can make a video that touches home to that one kid

the same way it hit me,

then that is ultimately my goal fulfilled.

Business English - Attending a Meeting - Useful English Phrases for Meetings - Duration: 14:04.

Hello, I'm Gina and welcome to Oxford Online English!

Tomorrow, you have a meeting to attend.

If the meeting is in English, will you be ready?

This lesson will help you learn useful phrases to introduce yourself, respond to suggestions

and ideas, and ask questions in a business meeting.

I want you to imagine you're in the meeting, and the chair has asked everyone to introduce

themselves.

What are some phrases you can use?

Sometimes, you'll be in a meeting with people you don't know.

Other times, the chair will ask for quick introductions to break the ice.

There are three things you should do here:

- Say your name - Say your job title

- Describe your responsibilities

To say your name, you can use a formal, 'My name is _____' or, if the meeting is more

informal, you can say, 'Hi, I'm_____'.

For your position title, use 'to be', just like for your name.

Then, decide if your position is the only one in the company, or if there are others

who have the same job title.

For example, if you are the only secretary, use 'the':

I'm the secretary.

If other people also have this position in the company, use 'a':

I'm a project manager.

If necessary, you can say which department you work in.

You can use the preposition 'in' plus the noun: 'engineering', 'marketing',

'finance', etc.

For example:

I'm in the engineering department.

Or: I work in the marketing department.

Finally, you can briefly describe your responsibilities, like this:

I manage each project from start to finish.

I'm responsible for web analytics and testing.

Or: I handle purchasing and our negotiations with suppliers.

You can see that using verbs and phrases like manage, be responsible for or handle can be

useful here.

Here is an example of a full introduction in a formal meeting with people you don't

know, or don't know well:

My name is Gina Mares and I'm the marketing manager here.

I handle online advertising and web analytics.

Here's an example of a more informal introduction:

Hi, I'm Gina.

I'm in the sales department.

I manage our sales team.

How would you introduce yourself in a meeting?

You can give it a try now.

Now that you've introduced yourself, the meeting will begin.

During the meeting, you might need to give your opinion on the different agenda items

which you are discussing.

You might also need to react to other people's suggestions.

How can you do this?

When making suggestions, modal verbs can be very useful.

'Should' ,'ought to' or 'might want to' can express something you think is a

good idea, but not an obligation:

We ought to give new clients a gift from the company.

We might want to consider looking for another engineer to help with this.

Or: I think we should make this a priority for this month.

'Have to' and 'need to' can express something that is an obligation:

We have to improve the way we collect and record sales data.

Or: We need to find a cheaper solution—our budget is very tight.

Remember, you can also use these to make negative suggestions:

We shouldn't rush this—we need to think it through carefully.

Or: We don't need to hire new staff at the moment.

Now, it's your turn.

Choose a phrase and make a suggestion for something in your own company.

Next, what can you do if you want to respond to another suggestion?

Well, if you think it's a good suggestion, you can show you agree with phrases like:

I agree with _______.

That sounds good.

Or: Let's go with this idea.

Here, go with means you agree with this idea and think you should put it into action.

However, what if there is a suggestion you don't agree with?

Here are some good, professional ways to disagree:

To be honest, I'm not sure about this idea.

Good suggestion, but I can see a few problems…

Or: I see your point, however…

After a phrase like this, explain your point of view.

For example:

I see your point, however, I don't think advertising in a magazine is a good idea.

People don't read them as often these days.

Or: To be honest, I'm not sure about this idea.

I think improving our website UI is a higher priority right now.

OK?

Now, take the suggestion which you made earlier.

Pause the video and write down two sentences: one to agree, and one to disagree.

Use the language you just learned.

Now, let's move on to different ways to ask a question in a meeting.

As an attendee, it's important to make sure you understand the content in the meeting.

Sometimes, the chair will ask everyone to save questions until the end.

If you're in a meeting where you can ask questions at any time, there are a few good

phrases you can use.

For more formal meetings, you can begin with a phrase like 'sorry', or 'excuse me'

to politely bring the attention to you.

Then, you can use phrases like:

I have a question.

Why is…?

How…?

Or: Does this mean…?

For example:

Excuse me, how will the new requirements affect the project deadline?

Or: Sorry to interrupt, but I have a question.

Does this mean that the new IT systems won't be in place this year?

If there is something in the meeting that you don't understand, you can use phrases

to ask for clarification:

I didn't understand…

Can you elaborate on…?

Or: Can you clarify…?

When using these phrases, it's important to explain exactly what you don't know or

ask for clarity on something specific that they said.

Again, you can use 'excuse me' and 'sorry' in more formal meetings to begin.

For example:

Sorry, can you clarify the third step in your proposal?

I didn't get the main idea.

Or: Excuse me, but could you elaborate on how this will fit with our existing marketing

campaigns?

Now, it's your turn.

Practice asking a question or asking for clarification about something.

It can be from a recent meeting or something from your job in general.

Again, you can pause the video and write down your ideas, for extra practice.

OK, now you can make suggestions and respond to what other say in the meeting.

You can also ask questions if there is something you don't understand.

Next, imagine that you've discussed the agenda items and come to an agreement on the

important decisions you needed to make.

You might need to show what you're going to do about these decisions after the meeting

has finished.

Here, you can offer to do something using a few different phrases.

For something that you decide to do at that moment for the future, you can use 'will'.

For example:

I'll call the client tomorrow.

Or: I'll discuss this with the rest of my team and get back to you by the end of the

week.

If you had a plan even before the meeting began, you can use 'going to' or 'planning

to':

I'm going to get a team together for this project.

Or: I'm planning to do one more round of testing, and then we can go live.

If you want to make an offer, you can use 'can', could or shall:

I can contact the supplier next week if we need to.

I could put together a report if you think it would help.

Or: Shall I talk to our engineering team and get a cost estimate?

On the other hand, what if you are asked to do something that you cannot do?

Well, there are some useful, polite phrases you can use:

I'm afraid I can't…

I'm sorry, but I don't think I can…

Unfortunately, I won't be able to…

Think about this.

What if someone asked you to move your project deadline forward, but it wasn't possible?

You could say:

Unfortunately, we won't be able to complete the project any sooner because we don't

have the supplies yet.

Or: I'm sorry, but I don't think we can finish by the end of this month.

We need at least another six weeks.

At this point the meeting is wrapping up and hopefully you have been able to make good

suggestions and offers and take part in discussions effectively.

Will you be attending a meeting in English soon?

Hopefully some of these phrases will be useful for you!

That's all for this lesson.

Hope you enjoyed and thank you for watching!

Trouble brewing for Antonio Conte: Lack of Chelsea transfer activity causing problems - Duration: 5:06.

Trouble brewing for Antonio Conte: Lack of Chelsea transfer activity causing problems

Antonio Conte has yet to sign a contract extension with Chelsea. The Italian is yet to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge and Starsport understands he has been less than thrilled with the champions' transfer policy.

Key to his unhappiness has been the decision to go for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku on the recommendation of technical director Michael Emenalo.

Conte wanted Torino striker Andrea Belotti, who scored a stunning 28 goals in 38 appearances last season, with both players valued in the region of £85m.

Belotti, just 23, might not have made it into Conte's Italy team when he was national boss, but he has been hugely impressed with the progress of Il Gallo - or the Rooster.

But in meetings with director Marina Granovskaia, who has a direct line to owner Roman Abramovich, Conte has learned what a succession of other managers have found out before him - the manager at Stamford Bridge does not rule the roost.

Conte has taken former Blues keeper Carlo Cudicini with him to those meetings so the former keeper and current club ambassador can use his excellent English to get the coach's message across.

Unfortunately getting Cudicini to help express his thoughts hasn't always helped. Starsport also understands the impending signing of £61m Juventus' Brazilian defender Alex Sandro was triggered by Russian tycoon Abramovich.

Back-up keeper Willy Cabellero, signed on a free from Manchester City, was not the choice of the 47-year-old. Alex Sandro is understood to be close to a move to Chelsea.

Monaco's Tiemoue Bakayoko, whose £35m signing is immiment, appears to have had Conte's approval.

But rumours persist in Italy that the former Juventus coach would be willing to walk away from Stamford Bridge if he does not get a greater say in the big decisions.

It may just be posturing from Conte, but it does appear he is finding it tough to adapt to the long-established way the club is run.

It seems he is unlikely to accept the terms of his new contract, reportedly worth £9.6m a year, which will put him in the top bracket of managers' earning in the.

Premier League, along with Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and Arsene Wenger at Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal. There is no suggestion Conte is unhappy with the offer, but he has yet to fall into line with Chelsea's way of running things.

He showed he was not to be messed with last season, particularly with the way he snubbed young Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi, whose signing he had nothing to do with.

Conte may have given the £33m signing from Marseille a chance late in the season and be rewarded when the 23-year-old grabbed the title-winning goal at West Brom in May.

But he largely ignored Batsman early in the campaign, angering Abramovich in September in the 2-1 home defeat by Liverpool, when he brought on Cesc Fabregas, Victor Moses and Pedro in the 84th minute but left the player who had scored 17 league goals for Marseille the previous season on the bench.

It will be interesting to see how Conte treats Lukaku, a player Chelsea let go to Everton for £28m three years ago. One thing is for sure - Conte is going to keep on proving he's no yes man at Stamford Bridge.

Editing and colorgrade in Davinci Resolve for beginners Ep.40-POP - Duration: 4:34.

hello Claus here with another video about DaVinci Resolve today I want to

learn you how to make people's faces pop and make them more visible in your shop

so your shot will go from looking like this to looking like that let's get

right to it let's go and start college

okay so here we are back in DaVinci Resolve 14 the beta version and let's

see what we can do about this young man make him pop a little more out of frame

so the first node you will see that the primary bars were some situations you

and some lift and game stuff so let's go to the second node and we'll do a power

window and we'll drag that at the Omni face here and then we'll just make it

fit a little bit and if you drag out here you will further the lines and make

it blend more together so let's see let's let's make a little more

feathering I think like something like that okay so let's go and here we are

going to track the power window just push here and I usually always track

backwards like this and then we'll make a keyframe and I'll just jump to the

first keyframe and I'll track forward and then again the tracker and davinci

so 14 is pretty darn good so it's also pretty fast actually so one second will

be all done so now we can control everything within the power window here

and as you see it will follow his head pretty well so let's just toggle that

off and then let's start to mess around with that so let's see him and now we

can start lifting with the lift and we can do something with the camera

something with the game I mean and you can control

the primary works pretty well so if you do want to mess around with your skin

tone you can do that make him look like incredible halt we

can do that or a smurf so what we don't want to do that we want to make his face

pop a bit so let's do that so already now you you can see that I've only met a

little with it and it makes it more visible already so

I'll just continue here with the Garmon play around with them colors and also if

you want to work with skin tones you can also go to the vectorscope here and and

use those guidelines I'll talk about that later on I think but then let's see

him let's just mess around the little lifts

I mean the cool thing about color grading there's no wrong or right so you

can just have fun with it so you see what we already did here if it's

something if it pops a little more I think

okay so let's give it a bit of contrast and go with the pivot as well and let's

see what do you have you can also do some color boost and we'll also mess

around with the mid-tones if you want to make more ring look here you see now

this skin is really pretty bad so the other way we want to flu from out the

skin they can look more like the model and do that and also you can mess around

with the faint alright just for the fun of it so here we are let's see so from

this to if I guess so you can see that mess

a little bit around with them anyway I hope you found this useful if you did

please hit that subscribe button give the video a like share it with your

friends if you think it might help them out and if you want to get notified

every time there's a new video please hit that Bell icon down in the corner

until next time keep filming keep learning and keep sharing bye

Business Advantages for Millennials and Digital Mail & How to Sign Up For Digital Mailbox - Duration: 3:52.

Tim: In this video for pack and ship business center owners we are going to talk about,

well it's a new phenomenon, but really they've been around for a while - the millennials.

How are they changing this industry, and how can we respond.

Brandon lovely to see you again.

Brandon: Good to see you Tim.

Tim: As the president of the Retail Association you are probably seeing a change in the business

because new bunch of people is showing up, the millennials, these the ones attached to

their cell phones.

Brandon: Oh, yes.

Tim: How are they impacting business, what do I need to know here?

Brandon: Well, the millennials have been an interesting nut for our industry to crack,

because our industry requires somebody to visit the store typically.

Millennials are doing everything online.

Everything is digital.

They are connected to their smart device, whatever it is.

So, this gives us a way to break it into that millennial market in a big way.

Tim: And look, it is a big market.

The research that I have seen suggests, and this was I think Forbes magazine did some

of this, that within the next couple of years 50% of the workforce is going to be millennials,

but within, I think it's 8 or 9, it's 90% of the workforce.

So if you're not paying attention to this generation, you are about to lose a huge amount

of your market, but if you jump in now, then you are actually generating a new market.

I have seen these people umbilically connected to their phones.

If they could jack it into the back of their head there is no doubt…

Brandon: No doubt.

And that's, as I said it's been a mystery point for a lot of store owners in our industry

is, how to break into that marketplace, and this is the way to do it.

They still get mail, and they may not like it, but they do get mail, and this allows

them to manage it robustly, efficiently right from their smart device.

They love it.

Tim: So, it's a romance.

When we are talking about this we are talking about digital mailbox in particular.

So run me through it real quick - how is the millennial going to interact with the digital

mailbox in a way that, I want say is better for them, than a standard pack and ship mailbox,

visit the store every day model.

Brandon: The thing that they love about it, Tim, is they never have to visit an actual

mailbox.

They can look at their smartphone, they can see what mail they have, they can tell the

store operator what to do with that mail, even to the point of depositing a cheque in

the bank for them.

So when it comes to simplifying their life and putting everything right there in their

palm of their hand, that's what this does.

Tim: It sound like a match made in heaven.

Brandon: Yes it is.

Tim: As I, I am not millennial, I think I am too old to be a millennial.

I don't even like walking to my mailbox outside my home, let alone driving down the

road to visit a store.

And I am not saying that that model is dead or a problem, I am just saying that this is

the growth area here.

Brandon: It is, and I think millennials get it instantly.

When they see it, they have that AHA moment and then they sign up, it's a simple transaction

for them.

Tim: My understanding is you don't even have to sign up.

Let's say you are a millennial looking to sign up for digital mailbox, you don't have

to sign up for your local store.

You can go and pick an address kind of anywhere in the country or anywhere beyond?

Brandon: Anywhere in the world in fact.

It's not limited to the local market or the state or the community, its worldwide.

Tim: So these millennials, because I am thinking they are traveling as well can actually access

their mail from pretty much anyway on the go.

Brandon: They can be in Hong Kong and tell me what to do with their mail.

It's a beautiful thing.

Tim: Sounds like a no brainer.

Brandon: It is.

Tim: For those who'd like to find out more about the digital mailbox model, how to sign

up your own pack and ship store, please visit ipostal1.com and if you are millennial do

that on your phone otherwise do that on a, you know, normal computer, but either way

looking forward to seeing you there.

Sign up and take advantage of this new opportunity for your own business.

Governor El-Rufai under attack for criticising proponents of restructuring - Duration: 2:59.

Governor El-Rufai under attack for criticising proponents of restructuring

- The governor of Kaduna state Nasir El-Rufai is a controversial character. - Although diminutive, when El-Rufai speaks, the nation listens. - His recent comments on restructuring didnt go down well with many individuals and groups.

A report by The Punch suggests that the governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has stepped on toes following his open rejection of calls to restructure the nation.

El-Rufai had, on Thursday, June 29 condemned some politicians, who have joined the calls for the restructuring of the country. The governor described such people as political opportunists, wondering why the agitators had now joined the calls if not for political reasons.

He made the statement when he featured on a breakfast programme on Channels Television, Sunrise Daily. He argued that the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari had restructured governance in practical terms more than the previous governments.

Reacting to El-Rufais statement, the president, Ijaw Youth Council, Mr Eric Omare described El-Rufai's opposition as a display of irresponsibility and opportunism. "It is El-Rufai that is displaying political opportunism and irresponsibility," he said.
