Narendra Modi to Become the First Indian Prime Minister to Visit Israel after 25 Years

In New Delhi as of we Said, Narendra Modi will become the first Indian Prime Minister

to visit Israel, in a landmark visit scheduled for July 4.

Modi will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over a period of two days

to discuss "matters of mutual interest,"

Modi's itinerary also includes plans to meet with members of the Indian community in Tel

Aviv and a visit to honor Indian soldiers buried in Haifa cemetery.

Israel has in recent years become an important defense supplier for India.

The two countries signed an air and missile defense deal worth almost $2 billion April, 2017

in what Israel termed the "largest defense contract deal" in its history.

While India and Israel have a diplomatic relationship dating back to 1992, the July trip would be

the first time that an Indian Prime Minister has visited.

Under a program titled "Make in India," Modi has been looking for foreign companies to

set up production in India.

Modi's trip will likely be viewed as an opportunity to encourage Israeli businesses—comprising

everything from diamond merchants to tech firms—to sell their wares in India.

In May, Modi hosted Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president for a state dinner and affirmed

"India's commitment to the Palestinian cause."

He later added that he "earnestly hopes for early resumption of talks between Palestine

and Israel leading to the establishment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine."

However, the schedule for Modi's July trip does not reveal whether it will include a

visit to Ramallah, the city where the Palestinian Authority is based.

When Reporter reached out to India's Foreign Ministry for comment.

"Geopolitically, this (official trip) is yet another example of India's shift away from

its policy of non-alignment," In the mid-to-late twentieth century, India maintained a policy

of non-alignment with the world's foremost military powers.

"During this period New Delhi displayed an unwavering support for the Palestinian cause;

it was ideologically closer to the socialist Soviet Union than the capitalist United States.

That has now changed,"

On Tuesday, Modi was seen hugging US President Donald Trump in front of the world's cameras,

a sign of affection reserved for the leaders of a select few countries.

Igbo politicians criticise Nnamdi Kanu for demanding boycott of elections

- Some politicians from the south-east say Nnamdi Kanu's call for election boycott in Anambra state is an attempt to derail democracy. - Sam Oraegbunam, chairman of Hope Democratic Party (HDP), Anambra chapter, cautions Kanu against causing confusion in Anambra state.

- Jude Emecheta, the national chairman of Willie Obiano support group, describes the call as reckless and uncalled for.

Some politicians have condemned the call by the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, on Igbos to boycott future elections until the federal government addresses his group's demand for a referendum on Biafra.

Anambra State is set to hold its governorship election on November 18.

The stakeholders in interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) described the call as an attempt by Mr Kanu to derail democracy in the state and expose the people to anarchy.

Sam Oraegbunam, Chairman of Hope Democratic Party, HDP, Anambra chapter, said although Mr Kanu's call for repositioning of Nigeria was popular, he must not use it to cause confusion in Anambra.

"There is also need for economic restructuring," he said. "We have to empower the states and the regions to develop resources they have and look beyond oil that is causing disaffection in the country.

"Kanu has done enough to draw the attention of Nigeria and the world to the type of injustice in this country and the plight of the Igbo man too.

"But in terms of boycott of elections and issuing deadline for referendum, I think it is an overreaction on his part.

"If Anambra does not hold election in Nigeria in November, it means that there will be a vacuum and what happens to the state in terms of administration?.

'Kanu is from a state and there is an elected governor there, so he should allow us have our election because we are still a component of Nigeria.

"My advice is that Kanu should consult, listen more and talk less, there are others who share his point of view, he should not derail democracy in Anambra," he said.

Also, Jude Emecheta, National Chairman of Willie Obiano Support Group, described the call as reckless and uncalled for.

Mr Emecheta said such call was why the South-East poorly participated in the 2006 population census and had not recovered from the disadvantage it got as a result.

The APGA chieftain said Mr Kanu's call on boycott of Anambra election was capable of plunging the state into political crisis.

"This call is not needed, it is undemocratic and it is a show of youthful exuberance. That is why sometime I get worried about this issue of empowering the youth.

"We have a supreme council of IPOB elders who should speak for the group, Kanu is the head of the publicity by virtue of being the head of Radio Biafra.

"We are just talking about restructuring, we have not articulated our demand in that restructuring, and there is need for the Igbo man to come back fully into the Nigerian project.

"The statement did not come from the hierarchy of the party; we know those we can take seriously on Anambra elections. "We have not recovered from the disadvantage this type of call caused us in 2006 during the population census.

"And now they are talking of Anambra boycotting election; if we don't hold election here government will just declare a state of emergency because there cannot be vacuum," he said.

Meanwhile, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has described most of the agitators calling for the sovereign state of Biafra as frustrated people who are just venting their frustration.

The Imo state governor also said the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, lacks the ability and influence to lead the Igbo nation to war, Daily Trust reports.

Speaking to journalist in Abuja on Thursday, June 29, Okorocha urged Nigerians to treat Kanu as a young man seeking relevance.

SEBASTIAN VETTEL has been punished enough for driving into title rival Lewis Hamilton in Azerbaijan last Sunday and Formula One should move on, according to 2009 world champion Jenson Button.

The governing International Automobile Federation (FIA) has said it will re-examine the incident on Monday and could take further action ahead of next weeks Austrian Grand Prix. Azerbaijan GP was a pleasure to watch, Button said on Twitter on Thursday.

The German, who leads Mercedes driver Hamilton in the championship by 14 points, was handed a 10 second stop and go penalty during the race for what many saw as an act of road rage.

I dont think you can class it as road rage when its not on the road, Button added. You cant compare racing with driving on the road as racing wouldnt exist.

Vettel hit the back of Hamiltons Mercedes while they were under safety car conditions and then gesticulated angrily before pulling alongside and banging wheels.

Some commentators have suggested the four times world champion should have been shown a black flag, signalling disqualification, for an act of dangerous driving.

Instead, Vettel finished fourth with Hamilton fifth after a loose headrest cost the Briton victory after leading from pole position.

Button, who was a director of the Grand Prix Drivers Association (GPDA) with Vettel before leaving Formula One at the end of last year, said a 10 second stop and go penalty was effectively 30 seconds with time lost at the pit entry and exit.

The 37-year-old former McLaren driver, who made a one-off comeback in Monaco last month as a replacement for Spaniard Fernando Alonso, added that everyone now knew that such a penalty meant race game over.

Exercise 1

First thing you need to do is to go and buy yourself small weights and use them not for

tightening your biceps but more for maintaining balance.

Play your favorite song, spread your feet to the width of your shoulders and keep your

body in a straight position.

And without bending your knees bend your body to the side.

Do this exercise until you think you are able to.

Exercise 2

Bend your legs while sitted on the floor and prepare yourself.

Take one of the weights with your hands and spread your legs slowly pushing them upwards.

Start passing the weight from one hand to another just above your knees in the shape

of number 8.

Except for reducing your cellulite and your legsbecoming really tight you will also tightening

your abs.

Exercise 3

Straighten your legs andlay on the floor.

Putone of your arms on the ground to support your body and start pushing your legs up slowly

without bending your knees in the direction of your face, touching the other arm.

Depending on your stamina, repeat this exercise 10 to 20 times.

Exercise 4

Place your arms behind your head.

Spread your legs and slowly push your body down but remember to keep your back straight.

Bend down towards from your left to your right side, almost touching your elbow with your

knee.

Repeat these exercises every day and you will see the results.

You will get the body you have always dreamed for.

However if you want to achieve the results you desire, don't forget that you must consume

at least 8 glasses of water every day.
