Alvaro Morata to Man Utd: Real Madrid to move for David De Gea after deal is completed

Real Madrid will move for David De Gea once Man Utd sign Alvaro Morata.

Starsport understands the Red Devils are closing in on Morata, with the Spain international cutting his honeymoon short in hope of speeding up the deal.

The 24-year-old is keen to quit the Bernabeu after struggling to get game time under Zinedine Zidane last campaign. However, according to Spanish transfer outlet Don Balon, Morata's move to United could be bad news for the Red Devils.

They reckon Real will up their interest in De Gea after Morata moves to Old Trafford.

Don Balon even say Real president Florentino Perez is letting the striker join United for a cut-price fee in hope of Mourinho being willing to let De Gea leave.

The 26-year-old nearly joined the La Liga champions in 2015 but a late fax halted the move. .

Real will renew their interest in the stopper in the coming weeks. Don Balon add that De Gea is Perez's dream signing and he's desperate to bring him to the Bernabeu this summer.

Reports today suggested United are readying a move for Manchester City star Joe Hart if De Gea goes to Real.

Hart, 30, spent last season on loan at Torino after being frozen out by Pep Guardiola and his Etihad future is up in the air.

Manchester United will make a sensational move for Joe Hart if David De Gea leaves this summer

Joe Hart could move across Manchester this summer if David De Gea leaves United. MANCHESTER UNITED are plotting a sensational deal to sign Joe Hart from Manchester City – if David De Gea leaves this summer.

Jose Mourinho will attempt to raid his local rivals for England number one Hart in the event the Spanish stopper quits Old Trafford to join Real Madrid.

The European champions are understood to be reviving their interest in signing the 6ft 4inch stopper this summer in a deal worth up to £60million.

The future of David De Gea is under scrutiny again with reports of a huge bid from Real Madrid.

And Mourinho has made it clear to the Hart camp he is the one he wants to replace De Gea if he finally opts to return to Madrid.

The 26-year-old Spaniard has made no secret of desire to play in La Liga again, and it could happen this summer with reports De Gea has moved out of his luxury Cheshire mansion.

David De Gea has moved out of his rented Cheshire mansion.

Hart, 30 is surplus to requirements at the Etihad next season following a year loan stint in Italy with Torino and is keen to continue his career back in the Premier League.

City boss Pep Guardiola has signed Benfica keeper Ederson for £35m and is expected to oust Claudio Bravo as the first choice stopper at the Etihad.

That leaves no room for Hart in the blue half of the city and will have to push through a move to keep his England spot ahead of the ever-improving Jack Butland.

Joe Hart has no future at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola. Potentially United could use De Gea as a bargaining chip in their ongoing efforts to land striker Alvaro Morata.

Morata struggled for game time last season following his return to Spain from Juventus and has reportedly told close friends has agreed to move to Old Trafford.

SunSport understands that could be seen as sound business to mitigate the loss of arguably the best goalkeeper in the world.
