5 Steps: "A Technique for Producing Ideas" (Written by James W. Young) - Duration: 5:33.
Today we'll discuss ""A Technique for Producing ideas" written by James Young.
[Intro Video]
Hi, this is Mike Negami, Lean Sigma Black Belt.
In the last video, we used the 5-How Analysis to list up necessary functions from the new
process.
With this method and its template, you can make the ideas visible to everyone, and you
can convert them in a way that you can actually use them effectively.
However, we have to have ideas before that.
How can we make ideas in our minds?
Let's learn it from ""A Technique for Producing Ideas"" written by James Young.
The book is called a bible by people in the advertisement industry.
The first edition was in 1940, so it is a great long-selling book.
First of all, he says that it is important to learn principles first, then learn methods
for learning something.
There are two principles for how to make ideas.
The first one is: ""An idea is nothing more nor less than a new combination of old elements.""
There are people rich in ideas occasionally, but they are not geniuses.
They have existing knowledge and they are making new combinations among them.
When we hear something like this, we feel we can do the same, don't we?
And the second principle is: ""The capacity to bring old elements into new combinations
depends largely on the ability to see relationships.""
In that case, if you improve your ability to see the relationships among things, you
can make a lot of new ideas.
So, how can we do this?
The author introduces the five steps of this method.
He says, ""Whenever an idea is produced, this technique is followed, consciously or unconsciously;
and this technique can be consciously cultivated, and the ability of the mind to produce ideas
thereby increased.""
It's encouraging!
The first step is to "Gather raw materials"".
There are also two types of materials: ""specific materials"" and ""general materials"".
About this, he explains: ""In advertising, an idea results from a new
combination of specific knowledge about products and people, with general knowledge about life
and events."
The second step is to "Masticate those materials"".
In other words, look at individual materials at various angles, arrange and put together
several things, and write down what you felt on paper even if it's incomplete or seems
crazy.
The next step is very interesting.
After putting a lot of energy into the first two steps, you may feel hopeless and with
no clear insight at this stage.
Then, the third step is to "Drop the whole subject.""
It is important that you forget all 'making-idea' things, and do something fun that you like,
like movies or reading, then you can let your own subconscious work for you.
The fourth step is ""Out of nowhere the idea will appear"".
When you're relaxing and not expecting it at all, the idea which you're looking for
will suddenly come to you.
This happened to me many times.
I often got great ideas when I went to the bathroom or was taking a shower.
The final step is to "Make the idea practical.""
In reality, there are various situations and constraints.
You have to change the produced idea into a form that can actually be used.
As a practice, instead of keeping the idea to yourself, show it to people around you
and professional people in that area and get their feedback, then improve the idea.
There may be criticism among them, but that is a chance to make a leap to the contrary.
Really innovative ideas are not easily understood.
Until now, there were millions of ideas that couldn't be made practical and died.
Keep improving your idea incorporating your situations and constraints and make it happen.
Today, we learned how to make new ideas.

Morning Yoga Class for the Hips - Yoga with Amanda - Duration: 24:43.
good morning and welcome I am back in the desert this is an awesome place that
we backpacked to yesterday so it's pretty remote and I'm really happy to share it
with you today's class is all about morning yoga so we went hiking yesterday
and I'm tired and a little sore so today's practice is really about just awakening
the body and stretching a lot into the hips
so grab your mat and let's get started we're going to begin in Child's Pose so
have your knees towards the edges of the mat sink the hips back let the arms come
forward palms down and then just drop your forehead to the mat and we'll take
a few deep breaths here in and out through the nose just starting to tune
into the body
and then inhale on an exhale begin to crawl your fingertips over towards the
right and then just get a nice side body stretch on the left
inhale back to center with the hands and then exhale them over to the left
getting the stretch on the right
inhale back to center lift the hips up and come into a tabletop position here
so the hands should be directly under the shoulders the hips right over the
knees and we'll take some cat cows here so inhale drop the belly take the gaze
up and then exhale tuck the tailbone spread the shoulder blades drop the chin
inhale drop the belly look up and exhale round the back spread the shoulder blades
two more inhale drop the belly look up and exhale round the back drop the chin last
one inhale and exhale come back to neutral
and we'll just make nice circles with the hips here so inhale as you come
forward and exhale as you swoop it back and inhale come forward exhale back nice big
circles here
and then the other direction so exhaling again as your hips go back inhaling as
it comes forward one more circle and then we'll come back to that flat
tabletop and I like just to wag side to side move in whatever way feels good here
and then pause inhale straighten your right leg back behind you point the toes
down the core is really engaged here hold on the exhale drop the foot down
tap the toes to the mat and then inhale up exhale tap inhale up exhale tap
inhale up two more tap and tap hold up and then exhale the knee down other side
inhale lift the left leg back point those toes down feel the core engaged
here exhale tap the toes down inhale lift exhale tap inhale lift tap lift two
more tap lift tap and lift and hold and then exhale the knee down tuck the toes
lift the hips downward-facing dog you know our down dog this is our first down
dog so feel free to bend the knees a little bit wag side to side
and then find a nice comfortable down dog really extending through the
fingertips the fingertips should be engaged with the mat so press them down
protect the wrists heels are drawing down towards the mat
lower belly is in and up two more breaths here and then look forward
between your hands then just walk your feet up to meet your
hands at the front of your mat inhale come up halfway maybe the hands come to the
shins nice strong long spine and then exhale fold your forehead down towards
the shins so its our first forward fold so you might not be able to go as far as you
normally do don't force it just hang here you can grab a hold of your elbows
shake your head no shake your head yes
and then slowly one vertebrae at a time roll all the way up to standing
release the arms by your side take a big inhale ahh and exhale awakening to a new day if
you're outside feel the sun on your face
feel your feet on the mat your toes pressing in and we'll continue warming
up with a few Sun Salutations so toes together heels slightly apart at
the front of your mat inhale lift the arms up and exhale hold forward inhale
lengthen come up halfway exhale plant the hands on the mat step or jump back to
plank and then move through chaturanga all on the exhale inhale slide the chest
forward upward facing dog the tops of the feet press into the mat the knees
are off the mat and then exhale lifting from the hips downward facing dog hold
for five breaths two three four
five exhale look forward step or jump to the front of your mat inhale at pathway
exhale fold inhale standing arms come up overhead and exhale arms by your side so
we'll do it again a little bit quicker this time inhale arms up exhale fold
inhale lengthen come up halfway exhale step or jump chaturanga lowering down
inhale slide forward upward facing dog exhale downward facing dog
hold here
exhale look forward between the hands bend the knees step or jump to the front of the mat
inhale lengthen exhale fold forehead to the shins inhale up to standing
exhale arms by your side last one here inhale arms up exhale fold inhale lengthen
exhale step or jump back chaturanga inhale updog exhale down dog hold for a
couple more breaths
this time on an inhale lift your right foot up and back point the toes and then
look forward between the hands step the right foot forward between the hands and
then drop your left knee so we're coming into this nice low lunge you can use
blocks here if you need to or come onto the fingertips or just onto the hands
and then try and relax here you can always double over your mat if your
knee is bothering you and then with each exhale just imagine sinking deeper into
those hips down and forward
one more breath here then on an inhale lift your right hand up and take a nice
twist gaze is up at that right thumb
exhale look down drop the right hand push the hips back as you straighten
your right leg then curl your right toes towards your face and exhale drop your
forehead towards your shin
one more breath inhale rock it forward again for the low lunge one more time if
you want to take this deeper you can bring your right hand on the inside
heel-toe the right foot out to the edge and then come on to the forearm so it's
okay if this right knee tips out to the side a little bit just breathe into it
this is again more of an advanced stretch so if you're feeling like it go
for it if not just stay in the other variation
last breath here inhale and exhale and we'll inhale up on to the hands if you
were there heel-toe the right foot back to the middle lift the left knee into
this lunge and we'll take one more twist so again inhale that right hand up and
twist gazing up at the right thumb
one more breath exhale look down step your right foot back and either come
right into down-dog or move through a vinyasa so exhale chaturanga inhale up
dog and exhale down dog other side inhale the left leg up and back and then
step it forward between the hands drop the right knee down so you can keep your
hands here or if this is too much again the blocks or even just resting up above
the knee and then with each exhale imagine just relaxing down into those
hips as they're coming down and forward
on an inhale lift the left hand up take the gaze up towards that left thumb
exhale look down drop the right hand press the hips back as you straighten
the left leg and curl the left toes towards the face exhale drop the
forehead to the shin
inhale bring it forward again I need to take that same low lunge or if you want
to go deeper bring the left hand inside the left foot as you heel toe it out
towards the edge and then maybe come on to the forearms inhale it back up and
we'll take one more twist here as soon as we inhale lift the right knee first
hold this low lunge or this higher lunge and then inhale the right hand up gaze
towards the thumbs nice strong left leg heel is really pressing out and then
exhale down and again either step the right or the left foot back right into
down dog or move through a half vinyasa exhale chaturanga inhale up dog
and then exhale down dog
one more breath in down dog and then on an inhale lift the right leg up and back
exhale crunch the knee in and drop the knee the right knee right underneath the
right wrist will come into pigeon pose so there's lots of variations here the
closer your right heel is to your inner thigh the easier this pose will be the
further out you bring the foot the harder so you can move your right foot
wherever is comfortable if you're really rocking over to the right side
then bring the foot in as much as you can and then exhale fold bringing the
forehead down to the mat now if this bothers your knees or if you have a knee
injury I would really recommend that you switch to this other variation on the
back so roll onto the back cross your right ankle over your left knee and then
reach your hands through to grab behind that left knee and then gently pull the
knee in towards your chest as much as is comfortable so there are
several variations find what is comfortable but not easy if you want to
feel the work you want to feel a nice stretch in the hips but of course no
sharp pain and then we'll just hold this for a few breaths maybe if you're doing
this in the morning think of some things that you're thankful for and some things
that are going right in your life we have a tendency to focus a lot on the
things that are going wrong so take a moment here to just focus on some things
that are going right and some things to be thankful for
inhale come up and then if you're on your back you can switch to the other
side if you're doing this pigeon pose tuck the left toes lift the hips and
then step the foot back and then the other side we'll inhale that left leg up
and exhale crunch it in drop the knee underneath the wrist
and move the foot wherever you feel it is comfortable and then exhale down and
relax for a few breaths
inhale come up and then lift into down-dog
so if you're on your back meet me in down dog for a few leg lifts so on an
inhale lift the right leg up point those toes down so you might not be able to
get as high as if you were pointing and opening the hips like this so really try
and keep the hips square point the toes down and then again we'll drop the
toes inhale lift drop the toes inhale lift tap lift tap lift last one tap lift
and then exhale down other side inhale the left foot back point the toes down
keep the hips square exhale tap and lift tap and lift tap lift tap lift last one
exhale the foot down drop to the knees bring them to the edges of the mat and
child's pose just like we've started class drop the forehead to the mat and
just relax
and then the last thing we'll do to end this class is just take some nice twists
so we can roll on to our backs here and give yourself a nice hug a much much deserved
hug and then I'll offer two variations today so the easier one is to just keep
the knees where they are and exhale let them fall to the left take your gaze to
the right if you want to go deeper cross the right knee over the left and wrap
the feet kind of like Eagle legs would be and then exhale drop them to the left
gaze to the right your arms can be in cactus arms or out to the side
whatever is comfortable and just enjoy a nice twist here
inhale back to center using that core and if you had the knees wrapped this
time cross the left knee over the right and then fall to the right or just keep
your knees right next to each other and exhale drop into the right gaze to the
left
inhale center give yourself one more big hug you deserve it you are enough you
are lovable you are loved squeeze it soak it in feel it and then
exhale relax into a meditation or if you want to take a final resting pose just
laying on your mat that is available to you feel free to lay here as long as you
would like thank you so much for practicing with me I hope you enjoyed
this beautiful sunshine filled desert morning yoga I'm sending you so many
good vibes from the desert and please subscribe if you haven't already I'll
catch you in the next video

(Live and Die for Baseball, Baseball Fan Trip)
("Lunch Game" with Changyeong Elementary School)
(A fierce battle to win a full-course Chinese meal)
(This is the beauty of baseball.)
(They did their best, but Team Changyeong won.)
- It's over! / - Let's go eat!
Let's go eat!
May I sit next to you, Taehyun?
Tell Defconn to sit here.
Or would you like Siyoon to sit there?
Would you like it to be Siyoon or Defconn?
- Choose one. / - Who do you prefer?
- Answer before they come. / - You have to answer now.
- I'd prefer the coach. / - What?
- No, the coach can't. / - Are you sure?
Let's say whoever comes first takes the seat.
- All right. / - Sounds good.
There he comes!
- There he comes. / - Destiny!
(Who will get to sit next to Lee Hyang?)
(Defconn is the lucky man.)
(He tries to stay calm.)
(They're enjoying themselves.)
(Shy)
You guys are so mischievous.
(They're proud to be mischievous.)
We decided whoever comes first should sit there.
- First come, first served. / - I see.
Before you came, we had a little conversation.
She said she likes big guys.
(Thanks)
I'm hungry.
I'm really hungry too.
Think about what we should order.
I want palbochae.
Junho.
You don't really have bad breath.
- It's not... / - I was worried about it.
- What? / - He said he was worried.
Defconn's neck seems clean as well.
I get treatment in Gangnam.
It's an expensive treatment.
He said he's getting treatment.
- This is why... / - What about the fat on your head?
What about the fat on your head?
(One of his flaws was discovered on a previous trip.)
(The fat on his head pops out.)
(He found another flaw other than the skin problem.)
(Right, the fat on his head.)
So this is the fat on your head.
- I guess. / - He seems like
he watches the show very often.
He's on a diet these days.
He's on a diet?
- Yes, to get rid of it. / - I lost a lot of it.
You've lost a lot of weight.
Normally, I don't laugh out loud at home,
but when I saw that, I laughed.
- My gosh. / - He has a fat head.
- I'm happy she laughed. / - He's got a fat head.
She laughed out loud.
(Laughing)
- I laughed so much. / - My goodness.
- So you watched it. / - This is so funny.
(Sad)
How do you get rid of the fat? Like this?
(They make fun of him.)
- It must be fun. / - I get a massage.
(They love making fun of Defconn.)
- This is what you do. / - My goodness.
Do you want to lose the fat on your head?
Is it a home shopping commercial?
It's only 9.9 dollars.
(They finally arrive in China Town.)
Like this.
That's enough now.
You are now at
one of the most famous spots in Incheon, China Town.
After Incheon port was opened in 1883,
Chinese immigrants settled here.
This place is now called "Small China in Korea".
It's an exotic tourist attraction
where you can try local Chinese foods.
Changyeong Elementary School won the game.
So...
Congratulations, teachers and students.
- Congratulations. / - We respect you.
- We respect you. / - Congratulations.
They all look excited.
(Their favorite food is tangsuyuk.)
I heard them say "one large tangsuyuk".
- Who would like to eat a double? / - Me.
You're going to eat a double?
Of course they can manage that.
- Can we order more later? / - Yes.
You want to order more later?
Order more if you want.
When I was young, we ate jjajangmyeon only when we won.
I see.
- Hey, come here. / - It's going to be so much food.
They want to eat double portions.
What was your name again?
- He's strange. / - My name is Jung Jihoon.
- You know what I mean, right? / - Pardon?
- Don't lose weight. / - You know I like you, right?
Jihoon. You know I like you, right?
Okay. Now we have a deal.
Do you think he will give you food?
Jihoon wrote something on his cap.
It's written, "Dear"
"my family..." What did you write?
"Dear my family, I will keep my promise."
- You will keep your promise? / - Let me see.
This reminds me of
the characters from comic books about baseball.
What kind of promise did you make?
I promised I'd become a baseball player.
I think you will become a baseball player.
- He was very hard-working. / - He is.
The food is here.
(It's finally time for Chinese food.)
(Jealous)
(The table becomes full of tasty dishes.)
Everyone, enjoy.
Enjoy the food.
- Everyone. / - Thank you for the food.
Enjoy.
Eat as much as you want.
- Enjoy. / - Eat until you're full.
Since they're children, they could eat three dishes.
(The young players enjoy the food.)
- Maybe they have too much food. / - Focus on eating.
- Enjoy. / - And get into a good school.
- Would you like to try? / - Hey.
You shouldn't make it so obvious.
(Happy)
He wants me to eat it.
- No. / - But he's giving it to me.
- Give it to me only. / - No.
No, he's giving it to me.
- Hang on a second. / - You can have it.
- Thank you anyway. / - Thank you.
You're so kind.
Guys, your jjajangmyeon is ready.
We ordered a big platter of jjajangmyeon.
- That's what we ordered. / - It should be a double.
That's not a double portion.
Here's your double portion of jjajangmyeon.
It's just normal jjajangmyeon. The bowl is too small.
- It's not a double portion. / - Give us more pickles.
It is a double portion jjajangmyeon.
It's a very small double portion.
Do you remember I said we prepared a special gear?
- He did say that. / - On top of everything else?
Please bring the gear.
- I wonder what it is. / - I'm so curious.
No way.
(That is...)
- They're gloves. / - How can we eat with them?
- Gloves? / - We must use chopsticks with them.
You must use the chopsticks with the gloves on.
- Before we start, / - We're all right-handed.
we've prepared another special gear
for the worst player
- to use. / - We already chose him.
Who was it again?
It's Joonyoung.
We prepared something for Joonyoung.
Maybe they'll give you two bats as chopsticks.
(Nervous)
There's more?
Come on.
(Oh, no.)
- It's hard even without it. / - He can manage this.
- He can do it. / - I'm sure he can do it.
But he can't put the food in his mouth.
How am I supposed to eat with this on?
Let me try, and I'll let you know how it goes.
I stuck the chopsticks in the glove.
(Unstable)
I think I can do it.
I don't think I can eat a lot.
You can't lift the noodles up.
Done.
(Slipping)
- Wait. / - You're out.
- Why does it have to be a game? / - Your turn is over.
- Let me try once again. / - This is your last try.
We don't have to make it into a game.
(Since he's the first, he gets a second chance.)
He looks like an excavator.
- It looks hard. / - It works.
(Coach Jung doesn't cut the noodles.)
You said you didn't want to eat earlier.
Coach, are you hungry?
No, I'm fine.
- Really? / - Yes.
- So you don't have to eat? / - Did you eat already?
If you want, I don't have to eat.
(He confidently said he wouldn't eat.)
(But now, it looks like he can finish the whole dish.)
(Coach?)
Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.
- It's tasty. / - Rock-paper-scissors.
Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.
- Scissors. / - Scissors.
- Scissors. / - Scissors.
I'm the first to go.
- But you went paper. / - Siyoon won.
- In five, four, three... / - Four, three,
- Don't. / - two, one. Time's up.
That's clever.
Are you sticking the chopsticks in the glove?
That's clever.
- That's perfect. / - That might work.
(Perfect)
Go.
(Please fail.)
Hey, it touched the glove.
It touched the glove.
(It touched the glove a bit, but he eats anyway.)
- This is unfair. / - Hey!
- That's cheating. / - Then we could all eat like this.
- We could all eat like this then. / - That's not fair.
That's unfair. He's holding the chopsticks short.
- Let's play rock-paper-scissors. / - Okay.
- Let's go on. / - You're out.
Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.
- I win! / - Let's continue.
Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.
(Yes!)
(I also won.)
Ready or not...
(Taehyun wins.)
- He lost. / - It seems like we are on a roll today.
Us three are on a roll today.
My gosh. That works.
Don't touch it with your face.
- That works. / - It works better with one chopstick.
(He takes a big bite.)
- Good. / - Well done.
- Very good. / - Okay.
Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.
Scissors.
(Meanwhile, someone is using his chopsticks elegantly.)
(He grabs it at once.)
I feel like I'm better with the gloves on.
Are you sure you can do this?
Lift it high. Don't drop it.
(He successfully grabs the noodles.)
How will he eat that? Can you put it in your mouth?
(Everyone is watching him.)
Joonyoung, you look handsome with that on.
(It won't work.)
(Laughing)
How will you eat it?
- You won't get a second chance. / - Don't drop it.
If you drop it, you're out.
Hang the noodles on the helmet.
Just hang it like it's laundry.
If it falls, it's mine.
It's mine.
(Struggling)
That must be annoying. He's annoyed.
Don't touch my noodles.
(Struggling)
- He got it. / - I knew he'd make it. Very good.
Well done, Joonyoung.
(Good boy!)
Gosh, he actually did it.
(Amazed)
My gosh, that's incredible.
Now you can take it off.
(Even Joonyoung ate some noodles.)
Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.
Yes!
Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.
(Jongmin finally gets to eat.)
I'm going to eat everything.
Hey, that's cheating.
You're not supposed to spin the bowl.
- Come on. / - Do it again.
- Hey, you're cheating again. / - Stop.
That's not fair.
That's not fair.
Just scoop it up with the gloves on, why don't you?
My goodness! What do you want me to do?
Don't you dare cheat.
(He manages to take a big bite.)
Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.
Okay!
Why did you lose?
(Nothing can stop him from eating.)
Can you call yourself my friend?
Watch and learn. My chopsticks have crossed.
(Even Defconn manages to eat a large amount.)
Let's play rock-paper-scissors for the last time.
- Give me a break. / - You don't get a free pass.
- Come on. / - Viewers won't tolerate leftover food.
- Let go of me. / - You can't.
Hold on a second.
Your hand should meet your mouth.
- Lift your head up. / - Go on.
Stop bringing your head down.
- Why do the rules only apply to me? / - No.
- It applied to all of us. / - Don't be absurd!
- Grab the noodles. / - Stand like this.
Don't spin your chopsticks around.
- Don't do that. / - Look at him.
Come on.
(Sighing)
- Isn't it annoying? / - Just let me be.
- Let me eat. / - Junho.
- Your head should stay up here. / - Right.
- Lift the chopsticks. / - Go on.
(Junho is dead focused.)
The end!
(Annoyed)
(He kept on losing and losing again.)
(Luck wasn't in his cards today.)
(Still, he prepared himself for the upcoming chance.)
(He was fully prepared.)
(The noodles slipped away.)
- Now lift. Straight to your mouth. / - That's it.
- Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors. / - Scissors.
- Hold on. / - Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.
Rock-paper-scissors.
Okay, you're out.
He's determined to eat the noodles.
Unbelievable.
See? You all cheated before.
(Coach Jung lost again.)
Rock-paper-scissors.
(He watched while others ate.)
- That was cheeky. / - It was a piece of potato.
- Darn it. / - He thought it was meat.
- Are you kidding me? / - Meat would have been nice.

- I'm sorry. / - It's okay.
May I give you a hug?
You're really tall. Thank you.
Thank you.
Lee Taeyang!
- Lee Taeyang! / - Lee Taeyang!
(Thank you, everyone.)
Thank you.
It was a great game.
(He's such a big fan.)
- Kim Junho! / - Kim Junho!
- Two Days! / - And One Night!
Junho's unbelievable.
No one can beat him at games like this.
(The game is now over.)
- I was surprised. / - Right?
I had no idea there would be so many events.
Families, especially couples, would have a great time.
You missed the kiss cam, right?
- Are you teasing me? / - They kissed.
I was outside the stadium then.
- I was outside. / - Yes, I saw you sitting there.
I didn't even get to see myself dance on the screen.
- Really? / - That's right.
I'm glad my team won today,
but we still have our own score to tally.
It'll be sore to lose today.
Please, let me win.
Kia Tigers scored nine hits.
(Kia Tigers scored nine hits.)
SK Wyverns scored eight hits and one home run.
He was silent when they hit a home run.
It wasn't the player he chose.
I was glad for a second, but...
Defconn, reveal your score first.
(Who did Defconn choose?)
I expected a home run from him.
It's Choi Jeong.
- Choi Jeong. / - His performance today was...
- He scored a hit. / - That's right.
It was a relief.
- Congratulations. / - Now, it's your turn.
Here we go.
I chose Lee Myungki.
(Lee Myungki)
He scored a hit.
All right.
Judging by how this is going,
it'll be game over if he chose Lee Bumho.
Would I win then?
Here's my next choice.
I chose Han Dongmin.
- Han Dongmin. / - That's right.
- He scored a hit. / - You're now at two points.
That's right.
Just so you know,
the Wyverns won eight to two.
The next player I chose is Na Jiwan.
(Na Jiwan)
(Na Jiwan is whom Taehyun recommended.)
- Well... / - Na Jiwan?
(So he chose Na Jiwan.)
He scored a hit, so that's worth a point.
(Na Jiwan hit once today.)
Did you see that? It was a clean hit!
(No way!)
(Na Jiwan's hit brought him great joy.)
(Currently, they're tied with two points each.)
It all comes down to the third player.
(Their fate is up to the third players they chose.)
Please!
Just don't let it be Lee Bumho.
You'll both reveal the player
and see the score at the same time.
Who's the last player we chose?
(Who will be the first to sleep in a baseball stadium?)
In two, three.
Lee Bumho!
Hold on a second.
(Jongmin chose Choi Hyungwoo.)
(Who did Defconn choose?)
(Defconn picked Jamie Romak.)
(Bottom of the eighth,)
(before he went to do the interview)
(Jamie Romak scored an infield hit.)
(Defconn can't hide his joy.)
(He must have chosen Romak.)
Romak, go!
(The eighth inning sealed their fate.)
Lee Bumho!
(Hold on a second!)
Hold on a second. What?
My choice was Romak. I won!
(Defconn wins by the score of three to two.)
(Jongmin will sleep at the stadium.)
I thought you picked Lee Bumho.
My gosh.
He's the cleanup hitter, but didn't hit anything.
I'm not blaming him, but still...
I'm not angry at him.
Still...
(Defconn was nervous until the end.)
I thought you picked Lee Bumho.
(Nice!)
What dance did you do earlier?
(Jongmin dances away his frustration.)
The moon is quite bright today.
Let's start off with Junho.
Congratulations.
Here's my first choice.
He made great choices.
Yang Sungwoo.
- That's a clean hit. / - Please be a home run!
It's a clean hit!
That's a point!
Jeong Keunwoo was hit by a pitch.
(Jeong Keunwoo scored no points for him.)
Next, I chose Kim Taekyun.
He made such a big difference.
(Kim Taekyun earned him two points.)
(The King of Hits, Kim Taekyun)
(The ball connected and went soaring.)
It's a hit.
(It's another hit!)
So in total,
- I have three points. / - Three.
(How did Taehyun do?)
Next.
- Kim... / - Kim Taekyun.
- That's two points. / - Right.
Who's next?
- Jeong Keunwoo. / - I see.
You don't know my pick, do you?
No, I don't.
Don't tell me there's a twist.
Ha Juseok?
(Ha Juseok scored no points for him.)
He kept it a secret until this moment.
I thought he picked Rosario.
Taehyun has two points.
Yes, two points.
- I... / - I think it's enough.
- Who is it? / - It's Kim Yongui.
(Kim Yongui earned him two points.)
You made a sharp analysis.
Next, I chose Oh Jihwan.
He didn't hit anything today.
Who was your last choice?
- Is it Park Yongtaik? / - Who is it?
No way.
- No way. / - I wrote Yang Sukhwan.
Who is Yang Sukhwan?
You chose him too.
(The player you chose)
(Back when Yang Sukhwan made a clean hit,)
(Siyoon was delighted as well.)
- Did you choose him too? / - No.
(He lied so that it could be a surprise.)
So I have three points in total.
(Siyoon's final score is three points.)
I knew Siyoon would choose Yang Sukhwan.
- Why? / - He's quite the analyst.
My roommate is a huge fan of the Twins,
so I put my faith in him.
Let's see.
- Let's see if he can beat Taehyun. / - Jimenez.
- Luis Jimenez. / - I heard he's the best.
(However, he didn't hit anything today.)
What on earth happened? Did the fine dust affect him?
What are you talking about?
- That's baseball. / - The fine dust got to him.
Next, I chose Park Yongtaik. / - Right.
He got one in the last inning.
I can't believe he got a hit off of Jeong Wooram.
This hit saved me.
(Bottom of the ninth inning)
(The hit that put Joonyoung back in the game)
(Joonyoung tied with Taehyun.)
- I thought I'd lose. / - It didn't matter though.
(It didn't matter though.)
- Yang Sukhwan. / - Yes, Yang Sukhwan.
What happens now?
- He has two points. / - It's a tie.
They both have two points.
So we have the same score.
What about base on balls?
(If there's a tie,)
(the number of base on balls will be considered.)
The players Taehyun chose walked twice.
Yes, twice.
The players Joonyoung chose...
They walked to base once.
(Only one base on balls)
(Good night, Joonyoung.)
At a full count, Jimenez managed to walk to base.
The other team must be setting up the tent as well.
(They call Jongmin and Defconn.)
- There you are. / - How did it go?
Who won?
Us three.
(The three of us are going home.)
You had it all planned out, didn't you?
Joonyoung, that's too bad.
(Bitter)
Who won over there?
He's sleeping here tonight.
(Jongmin will sleep at the stadium.)
(He's already ecstatic.)
Really?
You said Kia Tigers is on top of the table.
Did you hear that?
Joonyoung, why do you look down?
It's an honor to be sleeping here at the stadium.
Congratulations. Jongmin will sleep here,
and I will head home.
All right. Good night.
Junho, Taehyun, Siyoon,
- you can go home. / - No way.
I feel so bad for Joonyoung.
Let's head home then.
- Yes! / - Good job, everyone.
My throat is so sore.
(His eyes are lifeless.)
The full moon will shine for Joonyoung though.
- It looks like a baseball. / - Gosh.
Yes, one that scored a home run.
I know. That's how one should've hit the ball.
Right. He'll be sleeping on the streets.
My gosh.
That's so true.
- Go ahead and read it. / - I know what it is.
- It's... / - I had no idea.
This is the spot where the ball of the first
out-of-the-park home run of Jamsil Stadium dropped.
I see.
- That's why... / - 150m.
Joonyoung will sleep tonight at the site
of a commemorative home run.
I was wondering why the tent was set up here.
(The spot is a meaningful place.)
It's a meaningful spot.
Joonyoung, sleep tight.
The time now is 11:30 p.m.
So it was a one-day trip.
- You're right. / - You can go home and rest.
- Good job. / - Great job, everyone.
Thank you.
We haven't won in a while.
Gosh.
- Good night. / - Bye.
- See you. / - Good job.
- Bye. / - That's a wrap.
(Joonyoung comes back after seeing them off.)
I can't believe my bad luck.
(Being tired, he falls asleep quickly.)
(The passionate night at Jamsil Stadium cools down.)
You did great today.
Good night. Wake me up tomorrow.
- I will. / - I'll head inside now.
Who else will ever get to sleep here?
It's cool and refreshing.
I like it.
(Yawning)
(The baseball trip comes to an end.)
(Joonyoung, see you in my dream!)
(Good night!)
(Next week)
(What is next week's theme?)
(Summer Hot Body Special)
(Do you want to be like me?)
(However!)
(They skipped going fishing for some time now.)
(Man of the Sea Project)
(Let the Summer Hot Body Special begin!)
(Lose the fat and be exempted from going fishing.)
(This is no joke.)
- Hang in there. / - No way.
(Tune in next week!)

India Plans Major Procurement of Night Sights For Troops in Kashmir - Duration: 2:18.
In the last few weeks, the Indian Army has intensified its search and shoot operation
in four districts of South Kashmir.
On Thursday, Indian Army chief General Bipin Rawat met all seven commanders in Srinagar
— an indication that an all-out offensive against terrorists may be launched in the
coming months.
The Army has released a 'hit-list' of top terrorists of the Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba
groups.
"Based on uncooled microbolometer technology having a pitch equivalent to 17 microns, the
required night sight thermal imaging will have a human detection range of minimum of
800 meters while it will easily recognize a single standing human target at distance
of minimum 400 meters under clear weather conditions and all terrain," a request for
information issued by the Indian Army said.
Similarly, autogated night sight image intensifier tubes for AK-47s will improve aiming capabilities
for 7.62 x 39 mm calibers from 100 meters to 500 meters.
The image intensifier tubes should detect human targets at a distance of a minimum of
800 meters under starlit night conditions without moonlight.
If forces undertake night operations, the eight-hour battery life of image intensifier
will provide uninterrupted visibility to them.
Army chief Rawat said the Army is fighting a "dirty war" in Kashmir and that innovative
ways to combat insurgents are needed.
The AK-47 rifles in service with the Indian Army do not have a Picatinny rail, which provides
a standard mounting platforms, so vendors will have to modify the rifles to fit sights
compatible with the rail.
