Hector Bellerin still on Barcelona radar after Benfica demand too much for Nelson Semedo

BARCELONA are said to be retraining their sights on Hector Bellerin. The Catalan giants were thought to have stolen a march on Manchester United in pursuit of Benfica right-back Nelson Semedo.

Rex Features Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin remains a Barcelona target. But Marca say that the Blaugrana have now pulled out of the race after the Portuguese club demanded too much for the 23-year-old.

Benfica have slapped a £48million price tag on Semedos head. And that could force Barca to step up their attempts to prise Bellerin back from Arsenal.

New boss Ernesto Valverde is in the market for a right-back after Sergi Roberto and Aleix Vidal failed to make the spot their own last season. Bellerin was a long-term target of former boss Luis Enrique.

Wenger has signed on for another two years in north London. And Bellerin signed a new six-year deal worth £100,000 a week in November. Reuters New Barca boss Ernesto Valverde is in the market for a right-back.

Getty Images Bellerin could stay at Arsenal becuase of his loyalty to Arsene Wenger. He had earlier denied that he had any interest in returning to Barca, who he left when he was 16.

Bellerin said: "If I wanted to play there I would have stayed there. "I was very happy when Arsenal showed interest in me and I decided to come here.

"I'm not looking back, I'm just looking to help Arsenal.   Arsene Wenger looks to strengthen Arsenal after Kroenke backs him to stay two more years.

Hi once again everyone, and welcome back

to 'One English Tip in One Minute for

Speakers of Chinese (and its many

language varieties)'. In these videos I

talk about, in detail, each week one

common English mistake made by Chinese

speakers as they speak English...and this

is video number 32.

Though I say this each week, I really

do mean it. I think it's a smart, cool and

practical thing for you to do to try to

improve your English, especially in

today's world.I admire that you're

doing this. In these videos, I show you a

slide, and on the slide there are two

sentences: One is the correct way that

I as a native English speaker would

say something, the other is the wrong way

that many Chinese speakers say it. You

need to decide which one is correct.

Why don't you do that now. Read the

sentences, listen to me read the

sentences, pause the video, think about

your answer and I will discuss the

answer in the slide that follows this slide.

If you got this wrong - or you took a

wild guess and just happened to get it

right -- you're not alone. It's the same

with many people. What you have to now

do is study to get past this mistake.

It doesn't take that much, actually.

iIt's a very simple beginning, but to

start you off on that process I've given

you three sentences you can study from.

You should study these sentences -- kind of

pay attention to why they're correct -- you

should review them (constantly review

them), get them into your head and put into

practice what you've learned through

speaking or writing or both.
