North Korea's nukes are READY and THIS is where Kim's missiles will strike
NORTH Korea's nuclear weapons are ready to be used – and Kim Jong-un has already
chosen his first target.
The rogue state reportedly has a nuke ready for use after "completing development"
of the Hwasong-12 missile.
Kim is now feared to be capable of targeting and striking Japan with a nuclear weapon,
reports newspaper The Nikkei.
Defence sources said North Korea is now capable of launching an attack on the island nation.
Pyongyang test-fired the Hwasong-12 missile back in May which then plunged down the Sea
of Japan.
Sources claimed the weapon is believed to now been fully operational, amid fears Japan
has "no shield" against the missile.
North Korea has been ramping up its nuclear programme as it squares up to the US and its
allies in the Pacific.
A national security source told the paper: "North Korea appears to have completed the
development of a Japan-targeted nuclear missile."
Japan is the only nation in the world which has felt the force of a nuclear weapon, after
being hit by two US bombs at the end of World War 2.
Tokyo officials have been planning to obtain more defence systems and Tomahawk cruise missiles
to defend themselves from Pyongyang.
Tensions have reached fever pitch in the region as the US military forces continue to linger
near the Korean Peninsula.
Outrage against Kim was also sparked as imprisoned US student Otto Warmbier was returned to the
US in a coma.
The 22-year-old died shortly afterwards as his family accused North Korea of brutalising
him.
Kim has often talked up its power to strike Japanese soil in North Korea's quest for
an ICBM.
US President Donald Trump has been urged to launch a pre-emptive strike against the North
to stop them from developing an ICBM.
North Korea has yet to make good on threats to detonate a sixth nuclear bomb as the US
takes a tough line on Kim.
