Besides drug therapy, here are 19 natural home remedies for how to get rid of hemorrhoids.

1. Drink Fresh Vegetable Juice (if possible daily)

Fresh vegetable juice it is a must in the daily diet of people affected by the hemorrhoidal disease.

2. Yarrow Tea

If you are bleeding a lot, the Yarrow tea can help immediately.

How to make Yarrow Tea :

Brew a tea out of 20g yarrow plant for one cup of water.

Boil the plant in a boiling water cup, leave it to extract for one minute, filter it.

Drink one cup in the morning, and one cup in the evening for two weeks.

3. Aloe Vera

Simply apply aloe vera gel to the affected area to relieve symptoms.

If you have hemorrhoids or anal fissures, it is recommended to drink 50 ml of aloe vera juice each day, on an empty stomach.

4. Chamomile And Nettle Tea

Chamomile and Nettle Tea is helping to stop the hemorrhoidal bleeding.

Prepare the tea from a teaspoon of chamomile flowers and a teaspoon of nettle leaves and put them in a cup of water. Drink 2-3 cups of tea per day.

5. Swedish Bitter

It can also be used when dealing with hemorrhoids.

Moist a cotton pad in Swedish bitter and place it on the anus.

7. Sitz Baths

Warm sitz baths are a good idea for the ones suffering from hemorrhoid pains.

They have a calming and antiseptic effect.

You can have warm sitz baths daily, sitting with your knees uplifted.

8. Horsetail Tea

This plant's tea will stop hemorrhoids bleedings immediately.

Brew a tea with 20g or 40g of horsetail, depending on how severe the bleeding is.

Boil the plant in a cup of hot water, left one minute for the extract, filtered, and you can drink 2-3 cups of tea per day.

9. Chamomile Cream

How to make :

Melt the shea butter in a can.

When it has melted, add the chamomile flowers, stir well, let it foam and remove from the heat source.

Leave it until the next day.

The next day repeat the melting process and then filter through a cloth.

You can treat external hemorrhoids with this cream by applying it on the anus affected area.

10. Clay Cataplasms

Clay poultices are another natural remedy for hemorrhoids.

Mix the clay powder with the warm water, until you create a paste.

Apply this paste on the swollen area and leave it to act for two hours.

11. Coconut Oil

Apply directly to external one's coconut oil.

12. Comfrey Root Tea

Brew a concentrated tea made of comfrey root and pour it in the water-filled bathtub.

Use 4-5 root spoons for each 250 ml of water.

13. Lemon And Ginger Juice

Make lemon juice, add some ginger and honey. Drink one glass of the resulted juice each day.

14. Onion Paste

Take a medium sized onion, grate it and mix it with honey.

Apply the paste on the affected area.

Apply ice packs or cold compresses to the anus to relieve swelling for 15 minutes at a time.

16.Olive Pomace

Boil the water and put the carrot leaves in it.

Let the tea stay covered for 30 minutes. Drink one cup of tea two times a day.

18. Cabbage

Take a cabbage leaf and smash it with a knife.

Put the smashed cabbage on the affected area and leave it there for 10 minutes.

Why I Volunteer for the Food Bank - Mike Brizz - Duration: 2:58.

Sometimes people ask me, "Why do I volunteer for the Food Bank?"

And there are a number of reasons.

The first is the need.

There's over a half a million people right here in Northern Ohio, in our backyard, struggling

just to have enough to food to have to live healthily.

So, I couldn't sit back and just not lend a hand.

The second is that the Food Bank, when you get involved her, you're part of something very special.

Because you're working hand-in-hand with thousands of other people around the community all trying

to make an impact and make our community better.

Companies are volunteering their staff and their expertise in order to bring new ideas

and help us do our job more effectively.

And it's a beautiful example of what we as a community can do when we put our hearts

and our heads and our hands together to address a problem.

And I'm proud to be a part of that solution.

One of the things I most respect about the Food Bank is how efficient it is.

They're so efficient they can turn a dollar into four meals.

That's a productive use of a dollar.

Equally important is their effectiveness and by working with other agencies around the

city they're able to bring together an integrated set of solutions to address not only hunger

but the companion challenges of health, housing, and income.

My wife and I have been volunteering for the last three years and it's deeply fulfilling

to know that the work you do each day is going to impact someone's life in the next 48 hours.

Whether it's a six-year-old child or an 86-year-old elderly person struggling to get by.

And the last reason is that it's fun.

The staff here are uplifting to work with and you get an opportunity to meet all sorts

of interesting people.

So, in our time here at the Food Bank, we've met retired physicians, scientists, business

owners, business executives, middle school children wanting to make an impact, retired

Brown's players, and even the Governor of Arizona.

You never know at the beginning of a shift what interesting people you're going to meet.

And at the end of the shift, you know that the work that you've done is going to make

an impact in someone's life this week.
