Safe staffing is essential! - Duration: 4:06.
I like to go above and beyond. I like to make sure everybody's happy, make sure everybody is taken care of.
I'm a caretaker, that's what I like to do.
When I can't do that, I don't feel like I'm doing my job.
When we do not have the appropriate staff,
it really has a negative impact on the members.
It hurts my patients. It hurts everybody.
Because you know that there was more to be done and you can't do it.
We don't have enough people to cover all of these little patients.
When we are understaffed in hospice,
it's sad because we have
a 65-year-old member dying of cancer and I'll have
a 35-year-old commercial mother of three who's just told she has breast cancer
and I'm stuck in a position to decide what I'm gonna do.
Well, it's like a domino effect.
Once one thing is falling apart
everything else is gonna just take place because
especially our department touches every department.
We deal with the shortages that are associated with all of the other units within Kaiser:
nurses, physicians, anyone who can provide a service that a member's aware of
will have to get those calls that, you know, are sometimes unpleasant.
It seems like it doesn't matter to them anymore,
that staffing is not an issue when it's a big issue.
We are assigned to twelve patients when we are adequately staffed.
When we're not, we have the whole floor.
So, I can hear the lights go on and on, and if I go and answer the one that I'm assigned to,
the one that I'm not assigned to is calling me.
So, I feel like, where do I go? You know?
I cannot say no to the ones that I'm not assigned to. That's still a patient. That's still a member.
You go home after feeling stressed and, you know whatever,
you start thinking about your day and what you did that day and, you know, the kids that came in and
you really sometimes feel like a failure
because you didn't have that extra time to spend with that
autistic child that came in.
When we have adequate staff, it makes me feel secure. It makes me feel
that I've got control of my patients.
I'm able to do my job with a smile and actually remember how I helped someone .
It is our responsibility
to treat them in a way
that is dignified,
that is with respect and love.
You're not just a bed, you're a person.
And I want to go in there and, you know, let you know that and make you feel better
I want members to know when they come to my pharmacy,
when I've done my job correctly, they would leave happy.
They have the right medication. They were charged correctly.
And I took care of it.
Adequate staffing, we go home knowing that we did what we were supposed to: care for our patients.
We all came together as a team. We got that baby taken care of and everybody else in the clinic was handled.
You know, we had a good day, we had good teamwork.
Teamwork makes the dream work.
It's a team work.
So we have to have our team complete.

IS THIS THING ON? Facebook Ad Performance and Fatigue - Duration: 8:00.
Hey everyone! Carlye Simons from Lead Geek Marketing here back for video 10 of
the Secret Sauce of Facebook Ads series. Thanks for hanging in through 10, I
appreciate it! So today we're going to talk about success and ad fatigue, and
how to know whether or not your ad is performing as well as it should be. So
that seems like it should be an easy statement, but it's a bit trickier than
it seems because Facebook gives you a lot of quantifiable results to decide
whether or not your ad is working up to your standards or is as successful as
you would like it to be. A pretty common theme throughout this series has been
focusing on your goal what do you want your ad to accomplish. Do you
want somebody to just click through to go to your website, to make a purchase, to
enter their information? There are quantifiable ways to measure all of
these versions of success and there's a lot of acronyms and a lot of
definitions of things that we're going to go through just so you know what
you're looking at when you hop on to ads manager and see the results of an ad
that you posted. First thing we're going to talk about is impressions, and I
still don't have an easel so I'm just gonna hold these up. First thing is
impressions, like I mentioned that's just the number of times your ad is shown. Now
the bottom here it says this is not how many people see your ad because
impressions can happen to a person more than once. Let's say for example you have
an ad that you're sending (and you wouldn't send it to a group this small)
but you're sending an ad to a hundred people. Eventually all hundred people are
gonna see your ad so it's going to start sending it to them again, so the
impression again is the total number of times your ad is shown. To piggyback off
of that, we've got the CPM which is the cost per 1000 impressions. This is just
another quantifiable number that Facebook is gonna have for you to check
out. Third we're talking about reach. So reach is the number of people who saw
your ad at least once. Now remember this is different than impressions because
impressions is the number of times your ad is shown, and impressions can happen
to people more than once. The reach is just one person who is seeing your ad one
time, and they can't be repeated. Alright next CPR or CPL cost per result or cost per
lead. This is just as simple as it sounds. How much it costs for you to get that
result, or to get that lead. Facebook usually refers to it as CPR as do most
people as well. Next definition CPC cost per click. How
much it costs for you to get that click on your advertisement itself. And the
last one is pretty important. People focus on this a lot but it should not be
the sole area of focus for you, and that's the CTR, known as the
click-through rate. Now this is the total clicks divided by the impressions, or the
total clicks divided by the number of times your ad was shown. Now you can
measure all clicks, people who like, comment, share, click that way, or you can
also just measure the link click-through rate, which is people who are only
clicking the external link to go to another website. So for example if you're
optimizing for clicks or you you want to see your click-through rate or you're
doing it manual for some reason, you don't have to, but if you have 10 clicks
on your ad and a thousand impressions, you're gonna have a 1% click-through
rate. Now how do we know if that's good or not? Well, it's going to depend on your
industry, it's gonna depend on your niche, and how well ads have been performing
across your industry. So here's a little sheet to kind of show you the
differences in industry averages for click-through rates on Facebook. So
it actually may seem that fitness is the lowest performer, but this was from a
really big wordstream infographic that I'll link in the
texts above, but fitness was actually pretty high up there about halfway
on the list. So this is just a list of the top performers for Facebook ads, but
the click-through rate for the legal industry is 1.61%
compared to the fitness industry where it's 1.01%.
Now across all Facebook ads you're sitting at about 0.9%
click-through rate. Now all of these industries on average perform a bit
higher than that which is good, which is what you're looking for, but you need to
know your industry average your standard because if you're in the legal field up
here and your click-through rate is only 1.01% sure you're
beating the Facebook average and you're beating the fitness industry or you're
at par with the fitness industry average but your ads are underperforming or it
could be under-performing based on results from your field. Recently this
carries over into other industries as well. For Example the
average cost per click on Facebook is about a $1.72. In the
finance industry the cost per click is about $3.71
which is you know a couple dollars difference. That's a massive difference
your cost per click, and cost per results are going to be a bit higher if you're
selling a super super niche item or it's a really really high ticket item.
Just note that there is a huge gradient, a huge
variation of cost per click, click-through rate, different things like
that for different industries on Facebook. Now when you're looking at all
of these statistics, keep your goal in mind. I've said it and you're gonna be so
sick of me saying it, but you have to know what you're striving for to know if
you are successful or not. Don't base your opinion just on the click-through
rate or just on this or that. Really try to get a holistic view. Know what you're
shooting for and know what the numbers mean so you can better analyze
how well your ad is forming. Now let's end this off and talk
about ad fatigue. Ad fatigue is basically when your ads been running for a while,
let's say you've got an ad you put it out there it starts strong it's doing so
great it's killing it it's crushing it, but without a bit of sprucing up
over time ad fatigue will set in. It'll get
tired just like us if we go go go all the time. We get tired, we need to rest, and
eventually that's what your ads gonna do. You're gonna see
the click-through rate drop and the frequency of your ad appearances go
through the roof. It's kind of like your ad wore out it's welcome a little bit,
but you don't have to start completely from scratch. What you can do is you can
spruce up the creative, the copy, change your offer, things like that. And
you know you have the same bones of the ad to continue forward, it's just going
to perform a little bit better. Over time all ads will experience ad fatigue and you
can scrap it on and move to the next, or you can put it in your long-term
game and figure out a way to keep rejuvenating that ad and see continued
long-term success. So I hope that your new knowledge of what all
these crazy acronyms and things mean, and you are able to log on and see how
successful and how much your ads are killing it. We'll see you next time!

Hyungwook is busy looking after Juwoon and the dogs! XD [The Return of Superman/2018.07.01] - Duration: 18:05.
It's a quiet and relaxed town.
(Happy barks)
(The happiest dogs live here.)
Three loyal dogs
welcome us before the owner does.
(Chelsea)
(Daol)
(We will show you around the house.)
(The sunny living room)
(is where the dogs' health is checked every morning.)
(Patting)
(Daol's favorite place, the kitchen)
(is where the dogs' food is prepared.)
(This is paradise.)
(They take a walk in the big yard.)
(We are happy to be dogs.)
(We almost forgot about the puppy.)
The dogs say there is a puppy.
Who is this cute puppy?
He's really cute!
How cute!
(He is six-month-old Juwoon.)
(His specialty involves imitating a dog.)
(He can grab something and stand already.)
(He is a super baby.)
(Did you think that was the only trick I have?)
(Acting cute)
(Even when he falls,)
(he maintains a smile.)
(Who is the father of this special baby?)
(He is still sleeping.)
(Crying)
(He gets up right away.)
I'm on my way.
I'm on my way.
(Come on out, Dad.)
Who is the man being escorted out by the dogs?
(The Superman of the day appears.)
(The dogs' president, Kang Hyungwook)
He is the dogs' president, Kang Hyungwook.
I'm a novice dad of a six-month-old,
Kang Hyungwook.
He is well-known as a dog trainer who represents Korea.
(He has been a charismatic dog trainer)
(for 20 years,)
(and a novice dad for six months.)
(There is a necessary step to meet the Superman.)
No, Baro.
The dogs aren't used to the cameramen.
He trains the dogs right away.
Give it with your hand.
Give it to Baro.
Through here.
The other dogs are fine, but...
Baro.
Could you raise your pitch a little?
Baro.
Baro.
(Calling Baro in a higher pitch)
He is a good man.
You got that, right? Raise your pitch.
Come here, Baro.
Can you call him in a higher pitch? Baro.
- Baro. / - My goodness,
that's too high.
(They succeed to become friends.)
Good job.
Say, "Hello, Uncle."
"I'm Kang Juwoon."
Say hello. "Hello."
"Hello."
(Please take good care of me.)
Let's go to Mom.
Let's go to Mom.
(She just woke up.)
Let's go to Mom.
Juwoon, will you give me a kiss today?
I'm a novice mom, Susan Elder.
I had Chelsea since I was in the US.
When I came to Korea,
I looked for a dog-walking club.
The dog trainer who was in charge is this man here.
I came from the US.
Among the many Asian men I have seen,
he was the hottest man during those times.
He was my ideal type.
They met as an instructor and a student,
and deepened their love with the dogs.
(The two of them became a couple.)
We gradually became
a couple.
- That's... / - It wasn't gradual.
- It wasn't gradual. / - It was gradual.
(Flustered)
There is a misunderstanding.
We didn't begin to live together on the third day,
but on the third date.
It took about two weeks.
They fell in love at first sight
and got married eight years ago.
Last November, Juwoon was born,
and they are having the time of their lives.
Firstly, I want to brag about Juwoon.
(He wants to brag about Juwoon.)
Isn't that the only reason for appearing on the show?
Secondly, I want to brag about Juwoon.
It's because no one thinks he is my child.
- Hello. Whose baby is he? / - Hello.
- You aren't the dad. / - I am the dad.
- He is my baby. / - He is a foreign baby.
Ma'am, he is my baby.
(This has happened so many times.)
People will know once he is on this show.
- That's the power of TV. / - People will know.
(He is my son.)
Juwoon resembles me a lot.
He is beginning to resemble me.
Don't be ridiculous.
(Let's see how much they resemble each other.)
Why isn't it recognizing two faces?
Whose face isn't it recognizing?
Gosh, you are so ugly.
Juwoon, I am sorry.
- This is too much. / - My goodness.
(How does it look?)
(Completely out of sync)
(Apps don't lie.)
Juwoon will be with me for two days.
How are you feeling?
- Me? / - Are you excited?
I'm half worried and half excited.
I haven't left the house without Juwoon.
(Mom, don't worry.)
I will get going.
- Bye. / - Say goodbye.
"Bye."
Bye. Have fun with your sister.
If you have a question, call me
or look it up on the internet.
Don't make a judgment on your own.
Okay.
(Seriously.)
Mom is gone.
We can do fine without her.
Right?
(Is Hyungwook confident in childcare?)
(After a while)
When Susan isn't here,
you have to help me.
Okay? Chelsea.
Don't say you miss Susan.
Help me.
Baro. Help me.
How will you help me?
Think about that.
(Think about how you can help me.)
(Thinking)
(The dogs began to care for the child.)
(Hyungwook changes the diaper.)
Daol, come here.
(He summons Daol.)
Put this in the trash as you have learned.
Okay? Daol, come here.
Here. Goal. Goal.
Daol.
Goal.
Goal.
Daol, goal.
(He passes by the trash can at first.)
(It's a goal.)
- Good job. / - He threw it away.
Help me like this when Susan isn't here.
Good job.
(Is this how I do it?)
Baro, why would you take that out?
(I want to do something to help too.)
Baro, come on over.
Baro. Yes.
(Baro is up next.)
Juwoon, come here.
(Baro's mission is to play with Juwoon.)
Baro, give me your paw. Yes.
Juwoon, give me your hand.
(He asks for Juwoon's hand.)
(Is this how I do it?)
Yes. Give me your paw.
Yes. Give me your hand.
Give me your paw. Give me your hand.
(Will Juwoon succeed this time?)
(It's a success.)
Give me your hand. Give me your paw.
Yes. Give me your hand.
Yes. Here is your reward, Juwoon.
(Good job, Baro.)
(The dogs follow him wherever he goes.)
(He's busy looking after the dogs and the baby.)
(Everything is going smoothly.)
(What is Juwoon doing?)
(He's with Baro.)
(Bumping)
(A warning is issued.)
(Crying)
What happened?
Juwoon, Juwoon.
What's wrong?
(The dogs come to help.)
Baro. Sit.
Down.
Watch over Juwoon.
(I will protect Juwoon.)
(Thank you, Baro.)
(Don't forget about me.)
(Later)
Hyungwook and Juwoon go outside together.
He sits Juwoon down
and puts the dogs in the car.
It's best to put the dogs
in separate cages when you are driving.
- I see. / - We'll get going now.
(Where are we going?)
Where is he going with the dogs and Juwoon?
(What is this place?)
It's his workplace.
The entire family came to work.
Daol.
- Hello. / - Juwoon is here.
Come in.
I'm here by myself.
Juwoon came to work like this.
I will go and work diligently.
All right.
Come in.
(This is Hyungwook's office.)
Juwoon, you might be hot.
(Juwoon sits down.)
It's really important. Got it?
I need to make the payment.
Let me finish this really quickly.
I need to make the payment.
(Hyungwook has a lot of work.)
Juwoon. Help me here, please.
(He wants to keep looking at Juwoon.)
The member meeting is open.
(Forget about work.)
(Smiling)
Today, the 10mm leash has been uploaded.
(Bright and happy)
I can't focus at all.
Where is Juwoon?
(Dad, let's play for a second.)
Let's go to the class.
(They go for an outdoor class.)
This happens when your mom isn't here.
There are a lot of dogs we know.
(Many dogs are waiting for Hyungwook.)
I couldn't help but bring the baby
with me today. Please be understanding.
He is Kang Juwoon.
He is my son. He is six months old.
That's right.
All right.
Ma'am, you need to stay where you are.
Don't let the dog drag you one step at a time.
There you go.
He has the characteristic of Alaskan Malamute.
When he likes the owner very much,
he warns the other dogs to stay away.
"Sit down in front of me." Make them pay attention.
Lean back like you are falling down.
Do it quickly.
That's good. That's good.
(My dad is cool.)
(He finishes the charismatic training.)
Hello.
Hello. Hello.
(I'm 10-month-old Siwoo.)
How old is he?
He is older than you, Juwoon.
(Hello, Siwoo.)
How old is she?
- 10 months old. / - 10 months old?
Juwoon is six months old.
- Hello, Seola. / - Hello.
"Hello, I am Juwoon."
It's funny that I keep talking in baby talk.
There is a place where Juwoon rests.
Let's go there and rest.
- Let's go. / - Okay.
- Let's go. / - Let's go.
Let's go, Siwoo and Seola.
I love to talk.
I love to talk.
I want to go to a community center,
but it's too far.
I heard there aren't a lot of men either.
So I found it hard to go there.
That's why I invited some parents.
- It's really hard. / - That's right.
It's really hard.
You have to keep doing something.
It never ceases to be hard.
- It's never ending. / - It never does.
Would you please take a look at this?
He has a rash on his neck. Is it okay?
Babies get rashes like that all the time.
Should I brush his teeth when he doesn't any?
- You clean his gums. / - You clean his gums.
Is it okay for the baby to eat like this?
- Or not? / - It's dangerous.
- Is it dangerous? / - Yes.
- You should mash it. / - Give it to me.
Spit it out.
- He might choke. / - He can't eat this yet.
Can he eat watermelon?
Can he eat chicken?
Do babies get jealous if they get a sibling?
Of course.
- They get jealous? / - Of course.
They are the same as dogs.
- They get irritated. / - Do they get irritated?
- Yes. / - They want all love.
They want more food.
Okay. Look at this.
(Pay attention, everyone.)
- Juwoon will be / - He can stand up.
able to move better in a few months too.
(Jump, jump)
Juwoon, high-five.
- You can do it. / - Good job.
- Thank you. / - Good job.
- My goodness. / - My goodness.
Even though I am the instructor,
- I learned from you. / - Really?
I learned from you. Thank you so much.
- Say hello. / - Hello.
- Hello. / - Hello.
Hyungwook and Juwoon come home after work.
(Jumping)
What do we have at home?
(Hyungwook is preparing dinner.)
(What is this?)
(Camera)
(Dropping)
(Dad, I think I dropped something.)
(Juwoon, you are in trouble!)
Am I doing this right?
How do I do this?
We're in trouble.
(You attached it well, Dad.)
I will grill some meat.
(Hyungwook gets back to cooking.)
This is incredible.
(Will he have sirloin for dinner?)
(When do we get dinner?)
(Who will get the tasty sirloin?)
You wouldn't feed steak to a six-month-old baby.
Is it for himself?
(Will Hyungwook eat it by himself?)
Daol gets 200g.
Baro gets 300g.
(Is that for us?)
Chelsea gets 100g.
He was preparing dinner for the dogs.
(The steak goes to the dogs.)
Go to your house.
Eat up.
When you distribute food,
giving them at different locations
prevents fights.
(Dad, how about my food?)
Ta-da!
(Of course, I will prepare your food.)
(Smiling)
Ta-da!
(He prepares baby food this time.)
(He blends broccoli.)
Let's see if it's done.
(He adds small pieces of cooked beef.)
(Then he stirs.)
Juwoon, your food is making
my stomach grumble. I'm hungry.
I'm so hungry.
Open wide.
(Let's eat, Juwoon.)
(Eating)
It's good, right?
It's good, right?
Juwoon, give me your hand.
(He gets baby food as a reward.)
Good job.
(I can do a good job too.)
I'm so hungry.
(Bumping)
(Gosh, that hurt.)
(We wondered where he was going.)
(Hyungwook makes himself ramyeon to combat hunger.)
(The dogs eat steak,)
(but he eats ramyeon.)
(Hyungwook is a decent man.)
(He is the best.)
We have visitors.
(Who visited Juwoon's house?)
- Hello. / - Hello.
(Seolhyun and Minah of AOA)
Hello.
(What are they doing at Juwoon's house?)
