How to implement consumers' rights for defective products | Consumer Law Ready - Duration: 2:32.

Dear trader, What do you do if a consumer contacts you because

the product they bought some time ago no longer works?

In the European Union, goods are legally guaranteed for a minimum of two years.

If a product stops working before the end of this period for reasons

that are not linked to misuse by the consumer or expected short lifespan,

you must repair or replace it. If this is not possible, then

you must reimburse the customer free of charge

and within a reasonable period of time. You cannot ask the consumer

for any compensation for having used the product. Furthermore,

you cannot ask the customer to cover the postage costs, the material used

to repair the product, or any time invested in these tasks.

This is what EU law requires, but you must be aware that,

depending on the Member State where you are active,

some additional requirements could apply.

To wrap it up: if the product you sold stops working due to a defect

within two years of delivery, you must either repair or replace the product.

If none of these options are possible, you need to reimburse the customer

without asking for any financial compensation.

One strong piece of advice: always double-check the detailed obligations

of your country, that might be more severe. Also, if you reach out

to consumers in other countries, you might need to double-check

the obligations applicable in those countries too.

If you want to know more precisely the requirements,

and in particular those applicable in your country, please refer

to the "consumer law ready .eu" website.

In the online learning resources, Module 3 will provide you with

more information in your language on Consumer rights

and guarantees when products do not conform to a contract.

The website also includes an FAQ section and a forum

where you can ask questions to consumer law experts.

You will also find information about how to register for a course

in your country, and in your language.

This video has been brought to you by Consumer Law Ready,

an EU-funded project that helps you understand your rights

and obligations as a trader selling goods and services.

Argentines caught between love and indifference for controversial idol Maradona - Duration: 7:01.

Argentines caught between love and indifference for controversial idol Maradona

Argentines caught between love and indifference for controversial idol Maradona.

Argentine legend Diego Maradona is a controversial idol‚ worshipped as a god for his World Cup-winning exploits but whose life of excess has left a tormented public back home torn between veneration and derision.

The 57-year-old hit the headlines in Russia this week when he was filmed making two-handed middle-finger gestures to fans during Argentina's narrow win over Nigeria in their final World Cup pool game.

How to take his attention-grabbing outbursts is a recurring theme back home in Argentina.

"He thinks that the love that Argentines lavish on him is so great that when he behaves badly we'll look the other way‚" said 55-year-old businessman Bruno Sollner.

Daniel Carballo‚ 56‚ agreed that Maradona "is not an example‚ at least not for me and most of my friends and my family‚ no." "There are things that are not acceptable‚ but well‚ he's like that‚" Carballo added.

Other South Americans tend to perceive Argentines as arrogant‚ and Maradona's cockiness and public anguish seem to personify a nation's suffering at its team's stuttering performance in Russia.

"He is arrogant‚ he gets out of control because of arrogance‚" said Sollner.

Maradona got adoration for his goals against England in the 1986 World Cup‚ both the cheat goal he scored with his hand — he called it the "Hand of God" — and another‚ when he danced past five English players to score what is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest goals of all time.

In Buenos Aires that day‚ he became a god.

It was almost as if he had avenged with a football Argentina's painful defeat in the Falklands War against Britain four years earlier.

Irreverent‚ charismatic and provocative‚ Maradona remains an idol in Argentina‚ even for a generation too young to have seen him play‚ when his name became synonymous with footballing genius.

Paula Garcia Paz‚ a teacher‚ was six when Maradona lifted the World Cup in 1986.

"I'll never forget it‚ that goal against England is something so memorable for Argentines‚" she said.

Sollner said "we love him because he has stood up to the powerful‚ because on the pitch he never gave up‚ and you can see how much defeat hurts him.

"That devotion for a soccer fan is vital‚ it's called sweating for the shirt‚" he added.

The antics at the World Cup have been amusing and disturbing by turns‚ but for Argentines a distracting sideshow to the main event on the pitch.

Carried out of his seat in the VIP box after the match‚ he was forced to deny rumors he had been hospitalized‚ saying the next day that he was "very alive." "In Russia he's caused a stir‚ he's a guy who retired decades ago and who won things 30 years ago‚ but if he sneezes.

we're all on tenterhooks‚ waiting.

That's unique.

That's Maradona‚" said Sollner.

Those who know Maradona describe him as having an explosive personality while keeping his feet on the ground‚ despite having reached a sporting Olympus.

"Diego was a kid in the slum‚ with a kite‚ on which he wrote the name Maradona.

He started to run and the kite took flight‚ but he stayed on the ground‚" is how biographer Guillermo Blanco puts it.

Blanco said Maradona "just like everyone else has goodness‚ badness‚ ego‚ solidarity.

but when he does something‚ he's unlike others who are considered 'balanced.' He does it to the Nth degree." Angry with his daughters‚ in a legal battle with his ex-wife‚ scammed by a relative or banned for doping at the 1994 World Cup‚ Maradona's turbulent front-page life makes him a figure of pity for many Argentines‚ particularly the middle class.

They still deride him for flaunting his friendships with late leftist leaders Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez.

He insists he no longer takes cocaine‚ a habit that began in his heyday with Italian team Napoli‚ but his behavior during the Nigeria match has given rise to some concern.

"He needs to continue getting attention like in former times‚ but by giving an even worse example‚" said Laura Orsi.

"He is an icon of another time‚ but he erased all the glory with his behaviour: drugs‚ alcohol and fame went to his head‚" said the 56-year-old systems analyst.

There are inevitable comparisons between Maradona and Lionel Messi‚ but until the younger man wins a World Cup‚ Maradona remains a cut above for most Argentines.

"Messi is a phenomenon‚ but the world of football‚ until now‚ has not seen a player like Maradona‚" his old teammate Claudia Caniggia said recently.

Another contemporary‚ Julio Olarticoechea‚ agreed: "Seeing him‚ not only in games‚ but in training‚ was something else.

Diego was magic.

That's the word." "Messi still hasn't managed to give us the happiness Diego did‚" said Garcia Paz‚ the teacher.

"He thought he was a god and made many mistakes‚ but I know that the day he leaves this world‚ Argentina will be paralyzed.".

In Texas, A Summer Job That Helps Provide Temporary Refuge For Migrants - Duration: 6:28.

In Texas, A Summer Job That Helps Provide Temporary Refuge For Migrants

When I arrived at Casa Vides, I found a nondescript two-story brick building close enough to the border that you could walk to it.

This is a place that provides refuge for two types of people: those who evaded border patrol and those who were caught, handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and then released while their cases are still pending.

Casa Vides provides food, shelter and legal support to up to 40 people at a time.

It's run by the faith-based nonprofit, Annunciation House.

"My mom is an immigrant from South America so this issue has always been close to my heart," says Daniel Rottenborn, a 19-year-old volunteering for the summer.

He and 20-year-old volunteer Francis Brockman are both students at University of Notre Dame.

"For me," Brockman says, "I've taken a lot of Spanish classes and so I wanted to put that to use and just the situation with immigration today, like, the political climate.

It was something that I wanted to explore and learn more about.

So I feel like coming to the border was a pretty obvious choice.".

At this shelter, there are families and a number of teens — and that's an interesting experience for a young volunteer like Brockman.

"Sometimes there will be people that come into the house that are 19 or 20, like around our age, and they'll already have kids with them," Brockman says.

"So that's just an entirely different situation that I cannot even imagine at this point my life.".

Casa Vides said we couldn't talk to any of the residents.

But Brockman and Rottenborn have heard from teens here — some of whom crossed illegally instead of through a port of entry – about fleeing all kinds of violence on their journeys.

What little they say, says a lot.

"You see this 16-year-old kid," Rottenborn says.

"He's with his family.

You know, he has a bed, he has food for the first time in a while.

And he's just sitting there quiet.

It strikes me is vastly different than the experience of a normal American teenager.".

Brockman and Rottenborn could have gotten more typical summer jobs.

Brockman says his other option was working at a bagel shop back home in Ohio.

The two are living at Casa Vides sharing a room adjacent to the migrants' rooms.

They spend their time doing chores from cooking to cleaning to organizing games.

"Along this wall here, we have more stuff for babies," Brockman says.

"We have a room full of sheets, dry goods, medicine.".

"Yeah, we have a closet full of cleaning supplies, baby diapers, sanitary products, all of the hygiene and health-oriented stuff as well," Rotterborn adds.

Rotterborn says he and Brockman aren't trained on how to work with babies and children.

The shelter's goal is to promote independence and allow parents to do what they do best, parent.

"The resiliency that we see from these kids when they come into our house, and they start playing with the toys, and immediately, it's like that, you flip a switch, and they go from scared kids hiding behind their parents to just kids," Rotterborn says.

This past weekend, a bus pulled up and 32 undocumented parents got off.

With a few small belongings, including papers, they quietly walked into Casa Vides, greeted by staff with hugs.

The parents had been separated from their children at the border.

Their criminal cases were dropped after Trump reversed his policy on family separation.

Casa Vides tells migrants they can stay at the shelter as long as they want.

Many will connect with family members in the U.S.

and move out to live with them while they wait for their day in court.

3 gute Gründe / 3 good reasons for: CNG - Duration: 1:41.

My name is Jens Andersen.

I'm an employee at Volkswagen AG

and am responsible for CNG mobility within the Group.

The abbreviation CNG may not be familiar to everyone:

it stands for compressed natural gas.

There is no hydrocarbon that burns cleaner than methane,

the fuel we use for CNG mobility.

It can help us make a highly sustainable contribution

to cleaner air in the downtown areas of our cities.

In those places where I can't use an e-vehicle,

which really can be used without emissions locally,

the best alternative is a vehicle that runs on CNG.

We currently have 17 car models available with CNG-fuelled engines.

An 18th vehicle will be added to the line some time this year,

namely the first CNG-powered SUV, the SEAT Arona.

And we shouldn't forget that, in addition to cars,

we can also offer trucks with CNG engines.

As far as I know, barely any of our competitors can match

the wide range of vehicles we have on offer.

We currently have 860 CNG fueling stations in Germany,

and together with our partners from the gas industry we plan

to further expand this filling station infrastructure to 2,000.

Volkswagen supports the switch to low-emissions engines.

Which makes a CNG vehicle very attractive and, in terms of overall operating costs,

one with the most economical engine that we have on offer today.

English Stories For Kids | The Wolf And The Crane | Bedtime Stories For Babies | By Anon Kids - Duration: 1:54.

The Wolf And The Crane

Once, a wolf was lucky to get hold of a nice dinner.

He sat in his place and started to eat.

He did not want to share his food with anyone else.

He was eating so hurriedly that a small piece of bone got stuck in his throat.

He gurgled hard.

He tried to swallow.

He tried to spit it out.

But, nothing worked out.

The bone won't move.

He got afraid.

"If I can't take the bone out, I can't eat.

I will die of hunger",

He thought sadly.

Suddenly, he remembered the crane who live nearby.

He thought

" The crane has long neck.

She can reach and take out the bone".

So off he went to the crane and said,

"Please take out the bone from my neck.

I will pay good".

The crane took out the bone and asked for her fees.

The wolf replied,

"Aren't you happy that you put your head into my mouth and got out safely?

Forget the fees".

Moral of the story is

Good for the evil are fast forgotten.

50 Cent Slams Jay-Z for Releasing 'Everything Is Love' After Nas' Comeback - Duration: 2:13.

'This n***a's still slapping him (Nas) without everybody noticing what's going on,' the 'In Da Club' rapper tells DJ Whoo Kid

Jul 2, 2018  AceShowbiz - 50 Cent has sparked a new rap beef with Jay-Z after calling the 99 Problems rapper out for releasing his The Carters album a day after NAS' comeback

Nas and Jay-Z have long since put their former feud behind them, but 50 appears to believe that might be behind the rap mogul's decision to release Everything is Love, his new joint album with Beyonce, just a day after the debut of Nasir, Nas' new record, produced by Kanye West

"That was f**ked up what they did to Nas," 50 tells DJ Whoo Kid."I know what you did to Nas, Jay

He came out on the same weekend. This n***a's still slapping him (Nas) without everybody noticing what's going on

" The two rap heavyweights fell out in the 1990s when Nas failed to show up to record a planned verse for Jay's Reasonable Doubt

The pair then took the feud public, firing off attacks on record - Nas called Jay-Z the "fake king of New York" in the lyrics to Stillmatic (Freestyle)

Foods for Treating Hypotension - Duration: 10:44.

Foods for Treating Hypotension

Low blood pressure is also known as hypotension.

People with hypotension may experience dizziness, vertigo, or fainting.

If you suffer from this problem, there are some foods that can help treating hypotension.

Find out what they are in this article.

What is hypotension and what causes it?.

Blood pressure is the force exerted by the blood on the walls of veins and arteries throughout the circulatory system.

Therefore, hypotension is lower than normal pressure (according to the range specified by the scientific community according age and sex).

It's important to know that blood pressure is not the same in everybody.

For example, a new-born child has lower blood pressure than a teenager, and an adult has lower blood pressure than an elderly person.

In adults, or healthy and athletic people, normal blood pressure is around 120/80 mmHg.

In these cases, hypotension is caused by good cardiovascular health.

However, in elderly patients, it can be a sign of a problem related to the vital organs.

When blood pressure is too low, it means that there is not enough blood-flow to the vital organs.

Therefore, the person should not over-exert themselves to avoid an increase in cardiac activity (tachycardia).

Hypotension is diagnosed when the systolic pressure is less than 90 mmHg and the diastolic pressure is less than 60 mmHg.

This can be caused by several factors, including:.

Consumption of anxiolytics, antidepressants or narcotic analgesics.

Heart attack, arrhythmia or heart failure.

Diabetes.

Dehydration and eating disorders.

Consumption of diuretics or medicines for the heart.

Basically, the symptoms of low blood pressure are related to weakness and dizziness.

The person may also look pale, faint, or suffer from breathing problems or palpitations.

Some also experience headaches, blurred vision, numbness of the limbs, and chest pain.

Daily habits and hypotension.

There is much more talk about hypertension than hypotension, since the former usually has more serious consequences for the body.

However, we can also see that there are foods that raise blood pressure in cases of hypotension.

If someone has low blood pressure, they're usually given a salty snack.

This may be a remedy for the moment, but it's not advisable to just increase your salt intake because it can cause the opposite problem.

It's also recommended to eat some salty food at breakfast (for example, a slice of bread with butter) and avoid prolonged periods without eating.

It's far better to eat 6 moderate portions than 3 or 4 large ones.

Divide your meals into breakfast, mid-morning, lunch, mid-afternoon, a snack and dinner.

This way, you'll avoid having an empty stomach for many hours and lowering your blood pressure.

In addition, you should try not to consume sugary drinks or coffee.

Although this activates blood circulation, the effect is brief.

But once it happens, blood pressure may fall to lower than before.

Also, it's not good to drink alcohol because it reduces cardiac output and the health of your veins.

What foods should you consume when you have hypotension?.

These foods can help you whether you suffer from momentary low pressure or consistent hypotension.

In any case, we recommend that you consult a doctor to work out the reason for the problem.

1,Beetroot juice.

Due to its content of natural sugars, beet, or beetroot, has the ability to regulate blood pressure.

You can drink it on an empty stomach, in the morning or in the afternoon when you return home as a way of treating hypotension.

Ingredients. 2 beetroots.

½ cup of water (125 ml). Preparation.

Peel the beetroot and cut it into pieces.

Place in the blender and add water.

Mix well until you get a smooth shake.

Drink immediately (you can add ice cubes or mint leaves if you wish).

2,Raisins.

These naturally keep blood pressure levels within normal limits, since they improve the function of the adrenal gland.

You can eat a handful of raisins when you experience the first symptoms of hypotension.

3,Water.

In some cases, blood pressure drops when we're dehydrated.

Therefore, don't forget to drink at least 2 litres of water per day.

At the first moment that you feel that your pressure is "on the floor", we recommend that you consume drinks containing electrolytes (common among athletes), as they contain minerals such as magnesium, sodium, and potassium.

4, Almonds.

Almonds act in a similar way to raisins.

You can eat them raw or make almond milk (or buy it).

A home-made recipe for hypotension can be made with cow's milk and has good results.

Ingredients. 5 almonds.

1 cup of water (250 ml).

1 cup of milk (250 ml). Preparation.

Soak the almonds in the cup of water overnight.

The next morning, remove the water and remove the skin from the almonds.

Crush them with a pestle and mortar and mix them with the milk (hot).

Drink it on an empty stomach several times a week.

5, Legumes and cereals.

Add different foods that are rich in vitamin B to your diet such as legumes (lentils, chickpeas, beans, beans) and cereals (brown rice, oats, millet, rye).

A vitamin B deficiency can cause low pressure.

6,Carrot juice.

A glass of carrot juice per day gives you many vitamins and proteins and also regulates blood pressure.

It's better to drink it on an empty stomach.

Ingredients. 2 carrots.

2 tbsps. of honey (50 g).

½ cup of water (125 ml). Preparation.

Peel the carrots and grate them.

Put them in a blender with the honey and water.

Process for a few minutes and drink straight away (you can add ice cubes).

LeBron James To Leave Cleveland For The Los Angeles Lakers - Duration: 3:23.

LeBron James To Leave Cleveland For The Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron James is leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers for a 4-year, $154 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

His agency Klutch Sports Group announced the move in a release on Sunday, less than 24 hours after the NBA's free agency market opened.

For the second time in his 15-year career, James will part with his home state team.

In 2010, the free agent bolted to the Miami Heat to win two titles over four years, before returning to Cleveland.

The move puts the NBA's biggest star of the moment into the Western Conference, where he'll aim to set the Lakers up as title contenders, likely restoring a famed rivalry with the Golden State Warriors — the team that's thwarted him in three of the past four Finals.

As The Associated Press notes, James carried Cleveland to four consecutive conference titles and, in his final season, another matchup against the Warriors.

"As has been the case in the past, James didn't have enough help as the Cavs were swept, dropping him to 3-6 in the NBA Finals — a record sometimes used to compare him to Michael Jordan," the AP says.

James will join a young team that currently lacks star power.

The famed LA franchise hasn't made the playoffs since 2013.

According to ESPN's David Purdum, after the news of James' Los Angeles move broke, the Las Vegas oddsmaker Westgate SuperBook dramatically upped the Lakers' chances at next season's title at 7-2 odds.

"The Warriors are odds-on favorites at -110 to three-peat," Purdum reports, citing Westgate.

"The Boston Celtics, like the Lakers, are 7-2.

The Houston Rockets, at 7-1, are the only other team with single-digit odds.

Lakers great Kobe Bryant showed support for James' decision in a tweet, saying "Welcome to the family.

Welcome to the family and RP well done!!!.
