Mourinho's side were beaten 4-1 by arch-rivals Liverpool in the International Champions Cup match

The United boss revealed that Bailly wasn't supposed to feature in the game but made the decision to come in and play when Chris Smalling withdrew from the side just before kick-off

"Eric Bailly was injured - he shouldn't be playing," Mourinho said. "But when he saw that Smalling in the warm-up was coming out, he made the decision by himself: 'I'm not going to let my team play with five kids in the back against Salah, Mane and company'

"So he put himself there for 90 minutes and now his ankle is [much worse].  "He was there for 90 minutes so I have some brave boys

" Managers Jurgen Klopp and Mourinho have clashed in recent days over spending, and it was Klopp's Reds who came out on top in Michigan with goals from Sadio Mane, Daniel Sturridge, Sheyi Ojo and Xherdan Shaqiri on debut

Andreas Pereira scored a free-kick for United but could not stop Liverpool making it two wins from three in the tournament

Mourinho added: "This is not a step for anything, the majority of the payers which played are not going to play

"Some of them are not even going to belong to the squad." Next up for Manchester United is a friendly against Real Madrid on Wednesday

3 Cures for Overthinking - Duration: 3:37.

3 Cures for Overthinking by :

Robyn Reisch http://iheartintelligence.com

Overthinking is one of the common struggles of intelligent people, while being genius

is one thing, being success is completely different things.

There's nothing wrong with thinking.

It helps us to make sense of the world, come to intelligent conclusions, and dive deeper

into ourselves and the universe.

The problem comes when our thinking gets in the way of our doing.

Thinking and doing need to be kept in balance.

Like all things in life, these human powers are best exercised in moderation.

In this video, I'm going to show you 3 cures for overthinking that most of intelligent

people sought after.

But before we start, make sure to like this video and subscribe our channel so you won't

miss any interesting updates in the future guys!

Also, don't forget to check link on the description below to see our interesting offer that might

be useful for you.

So, in order to keep your thinking activity at an optimal level, as well as doing the

action neccessarily to support your thought, don't become trapped in your own thoughts,

and don't give them the power to paralyze you.

Well, here are three ways to stop yourself from falling into a mental tailspin:

1.

Practice Mindfulness.

When you embrace the current moment, you become more physically and mentally present.

This can stop you from getting too far lost in your own internal world.

Engage with your environment.

Take it all in.

Use as many senses as possible.

Notice without judging.

Mindfulness exercises can help you to stay in the present.

They are known to reduce anxiety, increase happiness, and bring about a sense of peace.

Why not give them a shot?

2.

Meditate.

While mindfulness connects your mind with the world around you, meditation allows your

focus to turn inward.

This may seem counter-intuitive.

How can sitting with nothing but your thoughts help you to get away from them?

It won't.

It will, however, allow you to connect with them, understand them, and work through them.

Meditation is easier than you think.

It benefits your body, mind, and spirit.

Engaging in this practice regularly can help you to overcome runaway thinking for good.

3.

Go Outside.

Spending time in nature can be therapeutic – and you don't have to commit to a full

weekend of camping to reap the benefits.

Engage with the outdoors in a way that makes sense to you.

Have a picnic lunch in the park.

Paint the mountains from a lookout point.

Swim in a lake.

Take your kids on a hike through the woods.

Sit under a tree and get lost in a good book.

Go for run with your favorite music.

The best way to experience the natural world is the one that connects with you personally.

Don't think your own happiness away.

It's all too easy to allow your mind to drown out your heart and your spirit.

Use the three exercises above and keep your thoughts and actions in balance.

Quiet your mind, and peace is sure to find you.

Well, that's the three ways to stop yourself from overthinking.

Jokes And The Pain That Fuels Them At Montreal's Just For Laughs Comedy Awards - Duration: 6:58.

Jokes And The Pain That Fuels Them At Montreal's Just For Laughs Comedy Awards

Nothing like a comedy festival to make you think so hard your head hurts.

Immigration, #MeToo, bullying.

Pain has long been at the root of great comedic material, and it was no different at this year's annual Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, where hundreds of comedians perform, attend panels and schmooze with agents, TV network reps and each other.

"We're an industry built on outsiders," Australian comedian Hannah Gadsby told a roomful of her peers at the annual Just For Laughs Awards Show on Friday.

She also urged the crowd not to forget it.

As a gay woman, Gadsby suffered some pretty horrific injustices growing up in a small town in Australia.

She won an award for her new Netflix special, Nanette, an explosive performance in which she is both hilarious but also gets angry and questions whether she can continue making jokes about the emotional wounds that still run deep.

Turns out, she can.

While Gadsby claims in the special to be leaving comedy, she's since had a change of heart.

She said the response to Nanette has been far more positive than she ever imagined.

Just For Laughs – and its French language counterpart, Juste Pour Rire - is the largest comedy festival in the world, according to organizers, who say some two million people are attending this year.

Headliners include David Cross, Kevin Hart, Dave Chappelle, Trevor Noah, and in a last minute announcement, Amy Schumer.

The festival's annual "New Faces" series is a coveted showcase known for launching future stars.

Accepting the award for Break-Out Comedian of the Year, Lil Rel Howery said it was his trip to Montreal for "New Faces Unrepped" back in 2011 where he first met filmmaker Jordan Peele, who ultimately cast him in his Oscar-winning movie Get Out.

It takes years to make it as a standup comedian.

Aspiring comedians often audition multiple times before they land a spot at the festival.

It can also be a challenge to find a live stage to perform on.

At the awards show, both Howery and fellow Chicago comedian Deon Cole praised one of the city's longtime club owners, Mary Ella Lindsey, for giving them a place to hone their craft and, said Howery, a place to audition for Just For Laughs.

"Joy is better than crack," beamed Tiffany Haddish as she accepted the Just For Laughs Award for Comedy Person of the Year.

With her breakout performance in Girls Trip, her debut comedy special, best-selling memoir The Last Black Unicorn, and becoming the first African-American woman stand-up comedian to host SNL, Haddish is unstoppable.

Her new goal: Owning her own studio.

"Be the boss," she declared.

Haddish, who grew up in foster care, got emotional as she thanked the many comedians in the room who loaned her money when she was too broke to even buy a hot dog.

She said the one person she most wanted to please was her mother.

When Haddish was a little girl, her mother was in a car accident that left her with a brain injury that caused her to be abusive.

"For a long time, I thought my mom didn't like me," Haddish told the audience.

Once she started making money, Haddish said she fulfilled one of her dreams: getting her mother out of a mental institution.

Through tears, Haddish said her mother told her how proud she was when she learned she was receiving the Just For Laughs honor.

Awards were also presented to Jo Koy (Stand-up Comedian of the Year) and the co-creators of GLOW, the Netflix series inspired by the 1980s, professional women's wrestling show of the same name.

Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch (Comedy Writers of the Year) explained how they make GLOW's largely female cast feel comfortable wearing leotards and performing physically awkward and challenging positions in the ring.

The actresses are "surrounded by tons of great women," said Flahive, referring to the crew, "and a few good men." They told the audience that GLOW's storylines of the sexual harassment and discrimination these women faced resonate today, and that they fully support the #MeToo movement.

"We're proud to be part of that roar," said Mensch.
