DOJ Employee Who Harassed DHS Secretary Nielsen is About to Face the ULTIMATE Punishment

Well, well, well, the radical DOJ employee who was part of a liberal MOB that pushed

DHS Secretary Neilsen out of a restaurant is about to face justice.

Of course, we believe she should have been fired by now, but as we've all learned,

the wheels of justice for conservatives moves really, really slow.

From Washington Times

Federal Hatch Act investigators have opened a complaint file on the Justice Department

employee who was part of a mob that chased Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen

from a restaurant earlier last month.

The U.S. Office of Special Counsel, which polices employees who illegally engage in

politicking as government employees, has assigned a case number and a lawyer to the complaint

against Allison Hrabar.

Mr. Hrabar, a paralegal at the Justice Department, was part of a group from the Democratic Socialists

of America that showed up at a Mexican restaurant to disrupt Ms. Nielsen's meal.

Their protest was filmed and posted online

Ms. Hrabar told The Washington Examiner that her protest was done on her own time and didn't

reflect on her government work.

But The Daily Caller reported that her Twitter account showed she had tweeted political messages

during normal work hours.

Ms. Hrabar didn't respond to an emailed request for comment.

done recently which has completely changed the game for every single

shipping if you are doing a niche store a general store a branded store selling

info products print-on-demand affiliate marketing it doesn't matter

this affects absolutely everyone so what is it I'm actually talking about well

Facebook have rolled out a new feature a transparency feature which allows

anybody to go onto any single fan page and see the adverts that they are

running yep so those dark posts you thought were hidden from everyone are

now officially unsure to the whole world now this was officially only available

in Canada they tested it out in Canada but now it's officially gone global

which means that anyone any one person any marketer anyone in the world can

click on any single fan page and just see the adverts that you're currently

running so before I actually talked about what this means for you as an

advertiser let me show you exactly how it works so you can get to grips with it

and of course start testing it out okay so let me quickly show you how this new

update actually works so you can get to grips with it as you can see I'm on the

Facebook page for pet ninja I think someone in the comments on one

of my videos said that they thought that pet ninja was my website unfortunately

your hundred-percent wrong so I thought I'd just use this as an example so as

you can see on the left hand side it will say a bunch of tabs and this one

here says info and now if you click on that that is load

and it says active ads from pet ninja now of course it's defaulted to United

Kingdom which is where I am but you can change that and as you scroll down a

little bit you can see all of the adverts that they're currently running

for the United Kingdom and if you click on that what you can do is of course

change it to anything in any country United States or you can click global

ads as well if we click on that we can scroll down we can have a look at all of

these products the creative and stuff like that now you can as well see the

engagement as well that is going on on the advert so if you actually click on

the video turn that down and if you click on it widescreen you can see here

now that the creative ok get yours here etc and you can see the amount of likes

it's got you can see the shares the amount of views and of course you can

see the comments as well so you can see the engagement you can see the advert

you can pretty much see everything that is out there so that is how it works

that is the new update let's have a conversation about it so now that you've

seen how it works what does this mean for you as an advertiser is it the end

of Shopify dropshipping is it gonna harm you brand you know what are the pros

what are the cons let's talk about it well the good thing of course is that

it's opened the playing field for everyone it's leveled the playing field

okay it means that you can now find products you pretty much have no excuse

to find products if you're relying just on dropship in you know you can go to

any single page ok click on that tab and find their winning products you can of

course see the engagement as well to see if it is something that is getting a

great reaction or not and you can basically just go to any single page and

find products which means you don't necessarily have to start relying on

those spy tools now remember that angle should always be if you are just

starting off with dropship in should be to build out a long-term sustainable

brand okay that's I do with my winners you want to be

testing stuff on your general store okay find those winners and I once you find

those winners break them out into a new store find a supplier okay brand them

yourself trade market copyright it and build it into a long-term sustainable

brand like I said that is what I do and that is what your goal should be to do -

now once you get to that point where you trade marking stuff and your copywriting

your logos and all those sorts of things it doesn't matter if people can see you

stuff anyway because at the end of the day you can just literally sue them if

they are taking your material now you are gonna build a massive brand loyalty

and be building an asset that of course you can sell in the later stages of the

business if you wanted to now drop shipping is still the easiest method to

get into e-commerce okay you don't need massive warehouses that you do with a

brand okay you don't need any sort of you know inventory so to speak to start

off with and again it the barriers to entry to drop shipping are so low that

again testing products and all those sorts of things you can literally do and

start making sales so again there's nothing wrong with drop shipping to

start off with now Willis up they actually kill drop shipping on Facebook

well let's talk about that for a minute just because you can see these products

working again you can see these creatives does not mean that you are

going to be able to recreate that success why just because you watch Bruce

Lee on TV in films does not mean you know karate so what do I mean by that

well you may be able to see the product you may be able to see the offer but

there's an important part missing which is the audience and the targeting a lot

of mentioned in a previous video okay you need those three things aligned to

be able to create success so you know you need the product you need the

audience and of course you need the offer so if you can see only two parts

of it you still missing a massive part now how many times have you seen a

winning product on Facebook and you think okay you know what I'm gonna give

this a test and you throw some money out and you find that you don't find that

it's a winner it don't bring you the sales I've done it and I know personally

that people watching this video have done it too that's because there's a few

different things that come into play that influence whether something

gonna be a winner or not and it's more than just a product just the audience

and just the offer things like ad account history relevancy scores quality

scores pixel data all of these things have an influence on whether something

is going to be a winner or not so remember just because you can see it

does not mean you are going to be able to recreate that success it's as simple

as that now another thing is you actually have to find these pages which

isn't as easy as it is of course if you're just doing dropship in these

dropshipping stores what they do is they hyper niche their pages which means if

they're selling cat products they'll send it on a cat page if they're selling

dog products they'll sell it on a dog page and they'll have all of these

different pages okay all running with different winners on so although you may

find one page that store may have you know another five to ten different pages

that may all have winners on so you might find one it doesn't mean you're

gonna find all of their winners now is this going to create competition with

your main products and your main winners who knows it may do it may not but

remember there's a lot of different things that come into play and if you

have winners right now I wouldn't start pulling your hair out thinking that

everyone else is going to recreate that success because like I said there's a

lot of different things that come into play into your product being a winner

over the next person now if you are the first to market you're gonna get the

lion's share anyway so if you are scared scale hard and scale fast but remember

there are a load of different things that come into play and if you have

something working on facebook nine times out of 10 Facebook will favor your

advert over the copycats because you were the first to market you have all of

those different things which are previously mentioned which is why your

advert is working also Facebook isn't the only traffic source if you are just

reliant like I mentioned in my other video on one traffic sauce then you are

in serious trouble don't just rely on Facebook yes it is

fantastic yes you can drive targeted traffic but remember there are loads of

different ways you can go out there and find traffic that are super

underutilized and probably a lot cheaper than Facebook for example Google AdWords

YouTube ad verse okay Pinterest adverse there's loaded different places that you

can use also ready verse there are lonely different places

that you can use okay that can bring you in targeted traffic as well as Facebook

now if you are super scared of this update and you don't want the world to

find winners first and foremost just get over it and secondly if you are that

scared and you want to take measures then just create more fan pages just

find a product and once that product is winning on that page then just create a

new page test products on a new page until you find a winner and then just

create a new one and test products on that and so on and so on and so on or

alternatively just ruin a turn of $1.00 adverts so that it fills up the whole

thing making it a little bit harder for people to find your winning products

again I wouldn't even bother with doing any of that okay the main thing is you

need to move towards a brand okay a sustainable brand which means that no

one can copy your stuff regardless that is where you ideally need to be now do I

think this update will kill dropshipping absolutely not and am I worried about it

absolutely not why because obviously of course I've got

branded stores that I'm working on and alternatively I'm a marketer who adapts

and survives it's as simple as that if you are not in this game okay as a

business person as a marketer okay as an entrepreneur you have to adapt and

survive there has been many changes with Facebook throughout the years okay CPC

is rise in you know CPM is rise in different changes algorithms all these

sorts of things okay if you are not in this game to adapt and survive then you

are not fit to be an entrepreneur it's as simple as that you roll with the

times and you keep moving that is the reason why we're consistent with our

producing results okay we adapt we survive because at the

end of the day there's nothing we can do to change it so all you can do is adapt

survive move and keep pushing it some people will absolutely love it some

people will absolutely hate it I'm pretty much indifferent it doesn't make

any difference whatsoever but just use it while it's here it's here it's here

to stay so use it utilize the tool while you can now of course if you got some

Why the secret to success is setting the right goals | John Doerr - Duration: 11:52.

We're at a critical moment.

Our leaders,

some of our great institutions

are failing us.

Why?

In some cases, it's because they're bad

or unethical,

but often, they've taken us to the wrong objectives.

And this is unacceptable.

This has to stop.

How are we going to correct these wrongs?

How are we going to choose the right course?

It's not going to be easy.

For years, I've worked with talented teams

and they've chosen the right objectives and the wrong objectives.

Many have succeeded, others of them have failed.

And today I'm going to share with you

what really makes a difference --

that's what's crucial,

how and why

they set meaningful and audacious goals,

the right goals for the right reasons.

Let's go back to 1975.

Yep, this is me.

I've got a lot to learn, I'm a computer engineer,

I've got long hair,

but I'm working under Andy Grove,

who's been called the greatest manager of his or any other era.

Andy was a superb leader and also a teacher,

and he said to me, "John, it almost doesn't matter what you know.

Execution is what matters the most."

And so Andy invented a system called "Objectives and Key Results."

It kind of rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?

And it's all about excellent execution.

So here's a classic video from the 1970s

of professor Andy Grove.

are the objectives and the key results, and they match the two purposes.

The objective is the direction.

The key results have to be measured,

but at the end you can look and without any argument say,

"Did I do that, or did I not do that?" Yes. No. Simple.

John Doerr: That's Andy.

Yes. No. Simple.

Objectives and Key Results,

or OKRs,

are a simple goal-setting system

and they work for organizations, they work for teams,

they even work for individuals.

The objectives are what you want to have accomplished.

The key results are how I'm going to get that done.

Objectives. Key results.

What and how.

But here's the truth:

many of us are setting goals wrong,

and most of us are not setting goals at all.

A lot of organizations set objectives and meet them.

They ship their sales, they introduce their new products,

they make their numbers,

but they lack a sense of purpose to inspire their teams.

So how do you set these goals the right way?

First, you must answer the question, "Why?"

Why?

Because truly transformational teams

combine their ambitions to their passion and to their purpose,

and they develop a clear and compelling sense of why.

I want to tell you a story.

I work with a remarkable entrepreneur.

Her name is Jini Kim.

She runs a company called Nuna.

Nuna is a health care data company.

And when Nuna was founded,

they used data to serve the health needs of lots of workers at large companies.

And then two years into the company's life,

the federal government issued a proposal

to build the first ever cloud database for Medicaid.

Now, you'll remember that Medicaid is that program

that serves 70 million Americans,

our poor, our children

and people with disabilities.

Nuna at the time was just 15 people

and this database had to be built in one year,

and they had a whole set of commitments that they had to honor,

and frankly, they weren't going to make very much money on the project.

This was a bet-your-company moment,

and Jini seized it.

She jumped at the opportunity. She did not flinch.

Why?

Well, it's a personal why.

Jini's younger brother Kimong has autism.

And when he was seven,

he had his first grand mal seizure

at Disneyland.

He fell to the ground. He stopped breathing.

Jini's parents are Korean immigrants.

They came to the country with limited resources

speaking little English,

so it was up to Jini to enroll her family in Medicaid.

She was nine years old.

That moment defined her mission,

and that mission became her company,

and that company bid on, won and delivered on that contract.

Every row of data is a life

whose story deserves to be told with dignity.

JD: And Jini's story tells us

Remember, that's what we want to have accomplished.

And objectives are significant,

they're action-oriented,

they are inspiring,

and they're a kind of vaccine against fuzzy thinking.

You think a rockstar

would be an unlikely user of Objectives and Key Results,

but for years, Bono has used OKRs

to wage a global war against poverty and disease,

and his ONE organization has focused on two really gorgeous,

audacious objectives.

The first is debt relief

for the poorest countries in the world.

The next is universal access to anti-HIV drugs.

Now, why are these good objectives?

Let's go back to our checklist.

Significant? Check. Concrete? Yes.

Action-oriented? Yes.

Inspirational?

Well, let's just listen to Bono.

How passionate?

What actions does your passion lead you to do?

If the heart doesn't find a perfect rhyme with the head,

then your passion means nothing.

The OKR framework cultivates the madness,

the chemistry contained inside it.

It gives us an environment for risk,

for trust,

where failing is not a fireable offense.

And when you have that sort of structure and environment

and the right people,

magic is around the corner.

JD: I love that.

OKRs cultivate the madness,

and magic is right around the corner.

This is perfect.

So with Jini we've covered the whys,

with Bono the whats of goal-setting.

Let's turn our attention to the hows.

Remember, the hows are the key results.

That's how we meet our objectives.

And good results are specific and time-bound.

They're aggressive but realistic.

They're measurable, and they're verifiable.

Those are good key results.

In 1999, I introduced OKRs to Google's cofounders,

Larry and Sergey.

Here they are, 24 years old in their garage.

And Sergey enthusiastically said he'd adopt them.

Well, not quite.

What he really said was,

"We don't have any other way to manage this company,

so we'll give it a go."

(Laughter)

And I took that as a kind of endorsement.

But every quarter since then,

every Googler has written down her objectives and her key results.

They've graded them,

and they've published them for everyone to see.

And these are not used for bonuses or for promotions.

They're set aside.

They're used for a higher purpose,

and that's to get collective commitment

to truly stretch goals.

In 2008, a Googler, Sundar Pichai, took on an objective

which was to build the next generation client platform

for the future of web applications --

in other words, build the best browser.

He was very thoughtful about how he chose his key results.

How do you measure the best browser?

It could be ad clicks or engagement.

No. He said: numbers of users,

because users are going to decide

if Chrome is a great browser or not.

So he had this one three-year-long objective:

build the best browser.

And then every year he stuck to the same key results,

numbers of users, but he upped the ante.

In the first year, his goal was 20 million users

and he missed it.

He got less than 10.

Second year, he raised the bar to 50 million.

He got to 37 million users.

Somewhat better.

In the third year,

he upped the ante once more to a hundred million.

He launched an aggressive marketing campaign,

broader distribution, improved the technology, and kaboom!

He got 111 million users.

Here's why I like this story,

not so much for the happy ending,

but it shows someone carefully choosing the right objective

and then sticking to it year after year after year.

It's a perfect story for a nerd like me.

Now, I think of OKRs as transparent vessels

that are made from the whats and hows of our ambitions.

What really matters is the why that we pour into those vessels.

That's why we do our work.

OKRs are not a silver bullet.

They're not going to be a substitute for a strong culture

or for stronger leadership,

but when those fundamentals are in place, they can take you to the mountaintop.

I want you to think about your life for a moment.

Do you have the right metrics?

Take time to write down your values,

your objectives and your key results.

'A Very English Scandal' Is Veddy, Veddy Fun, Indeed - Duration: 11:03.

'A Very English Scandal' Is Veddy, Veddy Fun, Indeed

"Are you. my little bunny?".

It is impossible to convey, in paltry written English, the astonishing breadth of dark, rich, velvety plumminess with which Hugh Grant delivers that line in Amazon's gloriously fun 3-episode mini-series, A Very English Scandal.

It is plummier than an Argentinian Malbec.

Plummier than the Williams family's icebox at midnight.

Put it this way: When you order moo shu pork, it comes on the side.

Is how plummy.

It is the sound of privilege, distilled to its essence.

Into that brief string of phonemes Grant deftly infuses centuries of British class hierarchy, blending notes of high camp with potent, pharmaceutical-grade smarm and a preening, self-congratulatory sense of entitlement.

He says "Are you.

my little bunny?" but what he means is You, little thing, belong to me.

The you in question is Ben Whishaw's Norman Scott, a wan and wispy stable boy who's shown up penniless to the Palace of Westminster office of the me in question: Grant's (significantly older) Jeremy Thorpe, a Member of Parliament whose career, in the early 1960s, is on the rise.

The two men enter into a sexual relationship which, were it discovered, would lead to their arrest, public shaming and, in Thorpe's case, the ignominious end of a career in public service.

It gets discovered, of course, eventually.

The resulting scandal — involving blackmail, conspiracy to commit murder and a spectacularly bungled attempted murder resulting in canicide — turns out to be, as the title suggests, very English indeed, in that it is fueled by the desire to avoid the one thing Brits fear more than death: embarrassment.

The resulting trial, which takes up most of the third episode, is no slouch in the British department, either, what with its wigs and robes and "I say!"s and "See here!"s and arch diffidence and diffident archness and whatnot.

Watching this very — nay, achingly -- English affair play out, and then flame out, is what a Brit might call "a right old hoot.

" It's soapy, funny, by turns gorgeous and grubby, and performed with a kind of headlong verve that's never less than fascinating to behold.

In its central conflict between representatives of the old, toffee-nosed and deeply closeted upper classes and the young, hedonistic and exultantly out working class, the series wears its heart on its (flared) (paisley) sleeve.

The screenplay is by Russell T.

Davies (based on the 2016 novel by John Preston), and it's directed by Stephen Frears.

The series dives into this gratifyingly dishy story in the hopes of making a larger point about gay history.

It succeeds, mostly.

Thorpe and Scott began their affair while homosexuality was still illegal in the U.K., and it became public fast on the heels of decriminalization.

We see Grant's Thorpe and Whishaw's Scott embrace those changing times along divergent tracks: Thorpe into marriage, family and respectability, Scott into partying, poverty and halting attempts at heterosexuality.

To Davies and Frears, Scott is the hero of the piece, and they place their thumbs on the scale by supplying him plenty of moments — based on trial transcripts along with invented scenes — for him to express his out, loud and proud dignity, while Thorpe goes on stiffly dissembling, and stiffly prevaricating, and stiffly conspiring.

That's significant.

Had A Very English Scandal been made even ten years ago, the story might simply have been mined for its sordid details, of which there are plenty, without placing it in a meaningful context.

But several wonderful actors show up to invest real emotion into scenes about the effect of the closet on themselves and their loved ones (look out for David Bamber's brief but moving turn as Lord Arran in episode two.) A queer sensibility pervades the series, colors it and ultimately informs it in ways that pay off both in specific scenes and on the whole.

One small example: It frees Whishaw to queen it up to the heartwarming extent he does here, flouncing about the place in a way that feels as it should — natural and free and unconcerned, not soberly studied or practiced.

Not, in other words, actorly.

Crucially, while the series sides squarely with his character, it doesn't falsely revere him — he's given the necessary room to be vain and impatient and selfish and whiny, and the result doesn't feel, as it otherwise might, like any kind of Statement About The Gays, but simply an intimate portrait of this one guy, and his seriously impressive head of hair.

For his part, Grant is playing a variation on the artistocratic cad he played in last year's Paddington 2, substituting for that role's vaudeville ham something more centered, more sinister and — disturbingly but unfailingly — charming throughout.

Sure, Grant's played a lot of supercilious jerks over the years, but it's very possible he's never had more fun — or been more fun to watch — than he is here.

The man can make the simple act of stirring an egg into his steak tartare a tableau of supremely punchable self-satisfaction, and later make us feel his cornered, heart-thudding panic at being discovered, and still later allow us to see, behind the toothy grin-grimace that causes those blue eyes to crinkle so, his quiet, soul-sick desperation.

In A Very English Scandal's opening scene, the script calls for Thorpe to mimic the upper-class mannerisms of a colleague ("I would be veddy veddy veddy disappointed").

It's to Grant's credit that the actor slips so deftly between that caricature and a character with which, after all, it shares so veddy, veddy much in common — which is, of course, the joke.

Whenever the camera pans away from Grant and Whishaw, the tone of the mini-series tends go a bit wobbly.

As would-be assassin 'Gino' Norton, Blake Harrison goes comically broad — like, early Coen Brothers broad — and never quite slips into the groove of the show around him, which is marked by so much sniffy, buttoned-up rectitude.

And while Davies's script and Frears' direction expend considerable time and attention on the women in Thorpe's and Scott's lives, they never manage to emerge as clearly delineated characters in their own right.

But as a playground for Whishaw and Grant, A Very English Scandal soars.

The actors starred together in Paddington 2, of course, and over and above its manifold delights, it's fun to imagine this mini-series as a kind of alternate-universe sequel — one in which Paddington (voiced by Whishaw) ditches that lumpy, unflattering overcoat for a clingy top and flared polyester pants to hit the gay disco, undergoing, in the process, that rarest of all transformations possible in the gay community: From bear to twink.

Amy Coney Barrett is on Donald Trump's short list of 25 candidates to replace Anthony Kennedy on the United States Supreme Court.

Trump has now revealed that he's narrowed that field down to five people, two of whom are women.

He didn't name them, but he said he would announce his final choice on July 9, 2018.

Those comments have increased scrutiny on Amy Coney Barrett.

At only 46-years-old, Barrett also satisfies a potential criterion if Trump wishes to shape the court for generations: Relative youth.

Is she a liberal or conservative, though? What are her political leanings if they can be determined? The Washington Times has reported that Barrett is considered a front runner for the nomination.

Here's what you need to know:.

Trump Appointed Barrett to the Court of Appeals.

Amy Coney Barrett has passed Trump's muster before; Trump appointed her to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago.

She was confirmed on October 31, 2017.

According to Bloomberg, when she was confirmed, all Republicans voted for her and three Democrats did as well (Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Tim Kaine of Virginia, and Joe Manchin of West Virginia).

She is a member of the conservative Federalist Society.

Barrett Is a Devout Catholic.    .

According to National Review, Amy Coney Barrett is considered a devout Catholic.

She is also the mother of seven children.

"…she speaks about God as if she really believes in His existence," the conservative website National Review reported of Barrett's faith.

In 2017, U.S.

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California) caused controversy when Barrett was nominated to the federal appellate court by bringing up her religion and saying she was concerned "the dogma lives loudly within you.".

Barrett belongs to a "small, tightly knit Christian group called People of Praise," The New York Times reported in September 2017.

According to The Times, the group's members "swear a lifelong oath of loyalty, called a covenant, to one another, and are assigned and are accountable to a personal adviser, called a 'head' for men and a 'handmaid' (now woman leader) for women.

The group teaches that husbands are the heads of their wives and should take authority over the family.".

The Times reports that members of the group take direction from the heads and handmaids on major decisions, even down to whom they marry.

According to the Times' interviews with current and former members, Barrett, her husband, and both of their fathers are members of the group.

Her husband is Jesse M.

Barrett, who is an Assistant U.S.

Attorney for the Northern District of Indiana, according to The Commercial Appeal.

The Catholic League wrote an article challenging depictions of People of Praise as a cult and arguing Barrett is unfairly subjected to scrutiny for her Catholicism, writing, "Among other things, it operates interracial schools and camps, and provides for many family outings; members often travel together.

Is it a Catholic fringe group? No, for if it were, Pope Francis would not have welcomed it in June: he celebrated with them, and others, the 50th anniversary of the Catholic charismatic renewal; the event drew over 30,000 people from 128 countries.".

The Catholic League article continues, "Praise for People publishes a magazine, V&B (Vine and Branches), that offers concrete proof that it is anything but a cult.

The cover story of the Winter 2014 edition was called, 'Looking at Marriage.'" The Catholic League says the group "was founded in 1971 in South Bend, Indiana.

Today it has branches throughout North America and the Caribbean" and "aligns itself with 'the Pentecostal movement or the charismatic renewal.'".

The group's website describes itself as "an ecumenical, charismatic, covenant community.

Our model and inspiration is the first Christian community, a small band of disciples who 'were of one heart and soul' and 'held all things in common.' (Acts 4:33, 2:44).

We can be difficult for the public and the press to understand.

In truth, we are a community that defies categories.".

The website describes the group's missionary work and says it's open to more than Catholics.

"In Evansville, IN, a group of People of Praise missionaries moved into two houses at a notorious intersection, a place locals called 'the devil's corner' because of all the fights and drug deals.

We didn't arrive with any program or magic formula, but hoped to encounter neighbors in a spirit of Christian friendship," the site explained.

The group claims the covenant is not an oath or vow.

According to The Federalist, which believes concerns about the group are unfair, "It is perhaps worth noting that Pope Francis named a member of this group auxiliary bishop of Portland in 2014, so membership in the group must not be disqualifying in the eyes of the Vatican.

In a graduation speech, Barrett referenced God, saying, "No matter how exciting any career is, what is it really worth if you don't make it part of a bigger life project to know, love and serve the God who made you?".

The Christian Broadcasting Network reported that evangelicals were "buzzing about Amy Coney Barrett." David Brody, CBN's Chief Political Correspondent, told the network, "Many of my sources, evangelical in nature, love her.

They believe that she is the one that if they had their dream pick that she would be the one.

Barrett has been very outspoken of her Catholic views and God.".

She Clerked for Antonin Scalia.

Amy Coney Barrett was once a clerk for iconic conservative Supreme Court Justice, the late Antonin Scalia.

Barrett was also a Notre Dame law professor before joining the federal bench.

According to The Los Angeles Times, Barrett also clerked for D.C.

Circuit Judge Laurence Silberman.

He was a Ronald Reagan appointee.

What Are Barrett's Views on Roe v. Wade?.

Barrett has indicated she believes life begins at conception, the LA Times reported.

"In a 2003 scholarly article, she suggested Roe vs.

Wade was an 'erroneous decision,'" The Los Angeles Times reported.

That stance would likely provoke a massive showdown in a nomination fight if Barrett is picked.

However, National Review has challenged the Times' reporting, saying the newspaper misread the citation, which "does not remotely 'suggest' any view of the scholar on Roe.".

Conservative Organizations Compiled the Trump List of 25.

According to The Los Angeles Times, the list of 25 possible candidates, which includes Barrett's name, was compiled by "the conservative Federalist Society and Heritage Foundation.

" The writings and decisions of each of the 25 were scrutinized, the Times reported, as the groups want to avoid a situation like that of former Supreme Court Justice David Souter in which the candidate turned out to be more liberal than expected because his views were little known.

Today one of the things that I invite you to reflect upon is:

Where is your energy going?

Let me explain; whenever I meet with a new client I always

ask them to share with me their thoughts on how they would

rate all the different aspects of their life because

I want to see from their perspective, how they view each dimension of their life.

And then I ask them, what do you want to create more of?

And what's very interesting is that typically people will focus in on a couple

of different areas, and it's usually the areas that are

already, according to their own perception, they're

already doing well in that area.

So they're wanting to develop more of what's already working and

sometimes what happens is their attention is not necessarily

going in the areas that deserve more attention and

that they themselves agree would benefit from having more attention.

Isn't that fascinating?

I'll share an example from my own life, again to

provide some clarity around this.

For a very long time, and I'm sure this won't come as a surprise given what I've admitted,

all of my energy and attention went into my career.

I was a workaholic really, I spent so much time working and advancing

my career and so what happened, I saw outcomes,

results and certainly success in that area.

But what happened as a result of that, other aspects of my life suffered,

one of them happened to be relationships, in other words, I hit the age

of 40 and I was still single, and I remember a friend

of mine saying to me at that point, Caro, have you ever I

thought about the fact that you might still be single

because you don't put any energy in relationships

and in finding and being in a relationship.

I really resented that comment because I thought really, is this another

area of my life where I need to put work into, does love require

that?

And that's not really what she meant, what she meant was

energetically, energetically I wasn't putting any focus or

attention on that and so what that moment did, what

the A-ha for me was, when I was able to shift my

attention, I used to make a lot of excuses, I don't have

time, there's nobody good out there, all kinds of things but when

I was able to shift my attention and now put some

energy towards being in a relationship that was a

game-changer and it was very interesting how all

these opportunities then came up and eventually I did find the relationship, that is the joy

of my life, a great big joy of my life, and that was just from

deciding very, very intentionally to put energy there,

not work, energy.

So that's the difference is that intentionality, it's

I'm thinking about it, I'm opening myself up to the

possibilities, I'm putting myself in situations, whatever that looks like.

It's energetic, it's not necessarily work, like effort.

So that has now changed how I look at everything because any

time that there's an aspect of my life that's not

getting energy or attention, for example in the last

little bit it was my body, and so this year I've

been very very intentional about putting energy and attention

towards making sure that I'm leading a healthy life

and that is taking energy because

I need to focus on that instead of just focusing on

career, which comes a little bit easier for me.

So my question to you, as I share those examples in my

life, where does that come up for you? where does your

energy go to because maybe it's easier or it's your

go to spot?

And what are some us aspects of your life, other aspects of your life that

might deserve a little bit more attention because

with that attention and with that energy and with

that intention you might be able to see different results.

There Is Literally Nothing The Trump Administration Won't Lie About - Duration: 2:42.

This past Friday we got a absolute confirmation that is literally nothing this administration

will not lie about, even when we have verifiable information that shows that they are lying,

even when everybody else already knows the truth, they will still attempt to lie because

they think so little of us as a country.

Here's what happened.

On Friday, Larry Kudlow, the former low-rated cable business show host turned Donald Trump

economic advisor, went on TV and he said this.

He said the deficit, which was one of the other criticisms is coming down, and it's

coming down rapidly.

Growth solves a lot of problems.

The only problem with that is that most people in this country, left, right, center and everything

in between understand that the deficit is not coming down, not even close.

The deficit is climbing at an alarming rate, and that doesn't even include the recently

passed trillion dollar tax cut package by Republicans that are going to add a $1 trillion

deficit to this country every single year starting in the year 2020.

Larry Kudlow, Donald Trump's economic advisor, went on TV and flat out lied about something

that he knows is false and that everybody else in this country knows is false.

That's what's so crazy about this though, not that he lied about that deficit coming

down, but that he lied about something that's easily verifiable, something that we all know

to be untrue, but he still did it anyway.

The people who work for Donald Trump, the people that he picks to run his administration,

they have absolutely no problem with going out there, spinning these lies, and acting

like reality doesn't actually exist.

And do you know why they do it?

Because this is the important part that everyone needs to understand.

They do it because they think you're stupid.

They think you don't know the truth.

They don't think you're willing to go out there and do a two second Google search to

find the answer, because they're too stupid to understand that.

Stupid people like to think that everybody else is as dumb as they are.

That is exactly what's happening with the Trump administration.

That's why they think they can get away with these lies.

But luckily for us, most of us in this country are much smarter than anybody Donald Trump

could ever pack into his cabinet.

Money is a man made concept.

Over the course of history, humans have put a price on everything.

We see some things as valuable and something as not so valuable… but, what price tag

would we put on our beautiful planet?

Can you even put a price on earth?

Hello and welcome back to Life's Biggest Questions, the channel that looks to answer

exactly those.

I am your host, Rebecca Felgate and today we are asking What is the Earth Worth?

Before we dig into the goldmine of information and entertainment that is this video, I want

to ask you guys to leave your guesses as to how much our planet is worth in the comments

So… the earth.

Up until we started launching rockets into space and set up our main babe the International

space station, everything of any human monetary value existed within and on planet earth.

While I am sure we can all agree that planet earth is priceless, what if we were to try

and put a value on all the raw materials we have here.

In terms of global Gross Domestic Product, we're pumping out 74.1 trillion a year.

GDP of course is the yearly value of all finished goods and services within a countries boarders.

So, anyone looking to put a price on earth ought to consider our yearly output potential.

The world is obviously filled with many expensive things – the world's most expensive car

is the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita at around 4.8 million dollars, the most expensive piece

of jewellery is the hope diamond, valued between 200 and 250 million dollars.

The most expensive painting in the world – Leonardo Da Vinci's Salvator Mundi, sold for $450

million dollars at auction in 2017… but is it worth that?

If so, what price can we put on all of the creative potential we have as human beings?

Deep.

It is almost impossible to estimate the value of all of the material items on earth – the

total value of all the iphones, all the macbook pros, all the yeezys…everything.

Stuff is just stuff, you know – and its value is fleeting.

What about land?

How much is land space worth if a parking spot in Manhattan goes for a million bucks?

How much is our real estate collectively worth, our sweeping undeveloped green pastures – cities

waiting to happen?

The estimated cost of Manhattan is 1.4 trillion.

What is the collective value of all of the available space on earth?

Well… anyone who has ever bought a house will know that that is supply and demand!

It is hard to put a price on that too.

So, I guess it is hard to quantify exactly what the earth is worth in terms of purchasable

goods and empty space because it is all relative to the consumer and buyer, so instead, maybe

let's tot up the value of our natural resources…Our liquid water, for example, something we don't

put a high price tag on because it's all around us… in a video by Life Noggin on

the topic, they set the price at 50 trillion dollars.

Sure.

Diamonds – not just jewellery, but a natural resource – have been deemed valuable.

So far we have found about 3 trillion dollars worth of them.

Moreover, according to life noggin, so far we have 193 thousand tonnes of mined gold,

worth 8 trillion dollars, but again, presumably we haven't mined it all.

Our diminishing oil reserves are worth 110 trillion dollars, and our dwindling coal 70

million bucks.

But of course, once again, humans are the one who have set the price tag.

Speaking of mining, so far humans have only really explored the surface levels of our

planet.

We haven't yet dug through to the mantle.

We have a reasonably good idea of what makes up our mantle and core, but it is possible

there are other precious metals.

We do know at the centre of the earth there is a huge iron core…which if sold at market

value could be worth around 5 ish sextillion dollars.

Oh yeah, sextillion….what is that when it's at home….

21 zeros mate.

You do the math, because I sure as hell can't.

So…earth in terms of resources is looking pricey…although there is one resource we

have yet to mine….humans.

According to a Wired Magazine article, a human body can be worth hum to 45 million dollars

each…so what is 45 million times by 7.5 billion.

Again…you do the math, cause honey doesn't have enough time for those zeros.

Okay, okay Rebecca….you lazy zero avoiding swine, we've sat here this long and you

still haven't told us how much the earth is worth.

Well estimations vary.

The history channel did a whole investigation into it and they estimated 7 quadrillion,

so…15 zeros… but we already know our iron core is worth more than that.

A very in depth reddit article put it at 15.8 sextillion… but at this point it is just

numbers, right?

The thing about money is that it is all relative to who wants to buy something.

How can we put a value on earth if nobody is trying to buy it?

Value is relative to demand.

Who is going to buy earth?

Some rich alien who's family made squillatrons dilatrons in plasma drilling?

Maybe something on our earth is of great value to them?

Do aliens do money?

Do aliens do ownership?

Once again, money is a man-made concept.

We can put a figure on it, sure, but really it is worth more than anything and everything

we could ever dream of.

It is our home, our life, our children's lives, our history, our future, it is all

we have got.
