How to Create a Custom Alexa Skill For Your Echo Device - Alexa Blueprint Skills - Duration: 6:34.

Hello everyone. Thanks for tuning in again. Now if you have an Amazon Echo

device, you're going to want to mute your mic if you're sitting next to your

device, because I am going to use that wake word a few times here in the video.

What I wanted to do today is I want to create a custom Alexis skill for your Echo.

Now when we're doing that, we have to go to blueprints.amazon.com and you're

going notice right on the front page right away it says you're accessing

blueprints portal from outside of the US. If you're like me and you're outside

of the US, you do need to set your Echo device inside the Alexa app to English

US. If you don't do that, none of this is going to work. So now on the iPhone, I

just want to show you really quickly, here in the settings inside the app, you

can see my device and you'll see down at the bottom, English United States. If I

had anything else, this is not going to work. So back to blueprints amazon.com.

I'm just going to run you through the page. You can see they give you a little

process here at the top. They want you to basically pick a blueprint, start

building, and then you can go ahead and use it, and you can share it as well.

That's a new skill that they've given everyone. So you can see the different

sections here. There's a fun and games, there's learning and knowledge, there's

something called at home, and then there's a storyteller feature as well.

Those are all the different sections. We're actually going to use one of the

at home features today. We're going to go ahead and create a babysitter skill. So

I'm going to tap on babysitter, and what this is intended for is basically, when

you have a babysitter you can just give them a bunch of information. So

on the page, if you wanted, you could listen to a sample of it, but essentially

I'm just going to click "make my own" here. Now Amazon is going to walk you through

a tutorial, but I'm just gonna bypass all of that. We're going to go right to

developing the skill. You can see there's a number of questions that essentially

you just need to answer. Sso here's the first question, when asked about the

morning schedule here's what your device is going to come back and say. I'm going to

fill out all three of those morning, afternoon, and evening. Once those are all

filled out, there's more questions about allergies, medication, and any extra

special notes that you want to leave for your babysitter. Something that I think

is very useful, and it's interesting how Amazon did this, they're saying where to

find things. You can see that I could pick any item. They started with diapers,

so I'll leave that in there. Where's the Tylenol, I can add that. You could just

add items, and add items, and add items. So you can tell them where to find anything.

If there are any actions that they need to know how to do, for me my TV is a little

bit complicated, so I'm going to make sure that there's instructions there for

that. And then of course the emergency contacts are going to be added in here.

You have to scroll all the way back up to the top and you go to the

experience side. Here's where you can customize the greeting for the skill and

you can also add in little extras here and there about if they re enable or re

ask for the skill to start. You can have different greetings after the first time,

and then you can also change the exit or the way that the skill ends. Now I'm

going to hit next up at the top. You can change the name, and then you're just

creating the skill. That's it, and it's attaching it to your account, and again

if your Echo is set in English US, it will go basically right to your device.

Just a couple more things that I want to show you after that's created. Here's

what the screen looks like, you can see it's working to create the skill. Once

it's created, here's what the screen looks like, and you can see there's an

edit. So you could go back in and edit if you wanted to. There's also a delete if

you were done with this skill or you wanted to

start fresh. You can also see how you would open it up, so you can see try

saying "Alexa, Open My Babysitter" and you can also see the status that it's ready

to use, and of course who can access this. Right now that's just me, so let me

show you how you can share. Once you click under the edit and delete buttons

to share, you have a bunch of different ways to go about that. You could email it,

you could put it on Facebook. Once you hit this share button, you're

basically making it available for other people to utilize. Anybody with the link

could then go ahead and use this skill. So obviously you want to think about

what kind of information you're putting in a custom skill before you go ahead

and do that. Now if you incorrectly share this, or you don't want to share it, you

decide you don't, there's actually a revoke button on the webpage. So I'm

going to go ahead, I'm going to revoke that share access. Let's do a demo, let me show

you how this works. "Open my babysitter." "Hello and thanks for

all your help today. This is your custom guide to caring for

our child. If you have any questions, just ask. You can ask about schedules,

allergies, medicines, how things work, where to find things, emergency contacts,

or special notes. What would you like?" "What's the afternoon like?" "Sure for

afternoon our child returns from school at 3:00 p.m. he will likely need a drink..."

"What else would you like to know?" "How do I work the TV?" "Ask Alexa, then use

Alexa to change volume, and the Harmony remote to adjust the channel. What else

would you like to know?" "Bye." "Bye for now, thanks again."

Life Car TV - 2019 BMW 3-Series Touring Scooped For The First Time - Duration: 3:29.

We've seen countless spy photos of the 2019 BMW 3-Series Sedan but now we're getting our first glimpse at the Touring variant

Looking like a shrunken down 5-Series Touring, the wagon has a wide grille which is flanked by slender headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights

The rest of the front is heavily camouflaged but we can see a sculpted hood and a large lower air intake

While the front of the car carries over from the sedan, bigger changes occur aft of the A-pillar

As before, the wagon has a long sloping roof with rails on either side. The model also features an upward sweeping beltline and a more subtle Hofmeister kink

The camouflage hides much of the bodywork but it appears the model will have softer curves and pronounced wheel arches

There are also evolutionary taillights, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and a dual exhaust system

The cabin should echo the sedan and this means we can expect a sportier steering wheel and a new digital instrument cluster

There should also be a larger infotainment system as well as new switchgear which is shared with the 2019 X5

There have been countless rumors about what will power the upcoming 3-Series but we can expect a number of three-, four- and six-cylinder engines in petrol and diesel guise

Outputs remain unconfirmed but reports have suggested the mainstream engines could produce between 136 PS (100 kW / 134 hp) and 268 PS (197 kW / 265 hp)

A bigger question is whether or not the Touring variant will share additional powertrains with the sedan

The latter model is expected to be offered with two plug-in hybrid options that can travel up to 50 km (31 miles) on electricity alone

An M3 Touring seems doubtful but its possible BMW could offer M340i variant. It could use a 3

Drawing the Sticks for Pick A Stick Challenge July 2018 - Duration: 12:35.

hello everyone its Shel C from PaperOcotilloStudio and today is the

first day of July and it is my turn to pick the sticks for the pick a stick

challenge which is a Facebook group that has one word prompts and we offer a art

journal page and in ATC each month with using random one-word prompts that you

can interpret in any way that you want and I mean any way that you want it's

it's not about a technique it's not about whatever it's just you just decide

what that word means to you and that's what you do on your page or your ATC so

I've rearranged my sticks I did used to have them in this big this big tin like

this and they were all stuffed in there and when I was having trouble with was

getting the used ones out so I was having to go through everything trying

to pick the ones from last month out so that we wouldn't reuse them because that

was one of the things we promised this year is not to reuse prompts sometimes

there are the same prompt into different categories however so we have seen a

little bit of that but we're really doing our best not to reuse prompts this

year because last year we had cat as a prompt like maybe three times during the

12 months so this is my little cheat sheet and what sticks I should pick what

colors I should pick and I've divided them using this little ghetto cardboard

thing that I think that I made so that when I go to pick pick out this month so

that you know I don't reuse them I can take the whole yellow and pick out the

things and then put the whole yellow back take the whole green it'll be a lot

easier anyway I know you don't really care about that but that's what I did so

I've got the blank sheets that I can write in these prompts as we go and I'm

gonna start with the art journal page one which has six prompts two wild cards

and two colors the wild cards are so that if there's one of these that you

don't like you can replace it with a wild card or you can use all eight if

you wants you it's up to you depends on how eventually sheer feeling the only

role of picky stick challenge is that you

to go in order of this six prompts and do all six of them so you can put

something before you can put something after you can put something something in

the middle as long as you do all these six prompts in order if you hate one you

can do a wild card or you can do all eight then as far as the colors I think

they're fun that's my favorite part of the whole challenge because when I

picked two colors randomly who knows you know well they go together will they not

can you make them go together can you add a third color that makes them look

good together so that's a big challenge for me because I'm very into color so

colors are optional if you don't want to use these colors or you only use one

that's fine we won't force you to do it but I suggest you do it because that's

the fun part in my opinion darn it so the first thing that I need I'm gonna

pick the colors first cuz that always excites me so I need how many I need -

okay one purple two purple so the colors for this month are green gold green gold

and am okay I actually have a paint called green gold so it's this is a deck

art media basically it's a light polish and it's a really great very versatile

color so I'm excited by that one so let's put that on there and then amber

is a warm orangish gold brownish orangish gold color so let's see if we

can find something that is amber I'm not sure trying to find that one actually is

amber so therefore it must be amber I'd say it's yellow let's get my little

see if we can't get someone back so what I'll be doing when I make the graphic is

I will be finding the hex codes or the codes you know the online codes for

these colors and putting those on there so that you'll have a good

representation okay the next thing that I need to do is draw the ones that go

here and I'm gonna put these in here too well no I'm gonna keep those out this is

my cup of glue stick but I figured I can use it for this too okay so I need one

shape that's yellow so let's get a shape is that right no I need one descriptive

let's get something from the middle I need oh yeah - what's interesting I

already do the colors I need two products one two

I need a technique technique okay and then I need two actions two actions

ready ok is that the right number one two three four five six seven eight nine

six seven eight nine ten yeah all right so whatever order they come out not

looking so you have tissue we have -

draw washi only beating washi tape if you don't have it you can make it

yourself abstract great and big weight one two three four

five six that's not right you should have should have one more

what did I do huh oh I need another orange okay and also

so these last two are big and embossed and then these two these six are the

ones that go there and I need to write them down real quick big big that's so

so whatever I mean you can you could use that in a million ways and then emboss

you could do pressure embossing or dibiase oh shoot I just got em out of

order huh don't do that and you could of course do do heat

embossing tissue - draw washing abstract great now great that could be a shape if

you want it to you or that could be an action like grading something like a

pencil into little flecks and then getting it wet or you know something

like that so you can also mean a cheese grater you could mean so many things

tissue could be tissue paper or you know tissue a wrapping paper or napkin

anything like that that you can make texture with - is a shape so that would

be like this but could it also it could also mean that you - to the store to get

some washi tape maybe you dashed off to the star to get

some washi tape drawers I'm I can't think of very many options for that one

washi tape is any type of printed or colored thin tape

could be a masking tape that you put some ink on or jelly printed or

something if you don't have specifically washi tape it's it's Japanese washi tape

yeah Japanese tissue tape is basically what Washington sometimes cultures you

take I thought I had some on the desk to show you but I don't

well I abstract that's kind of a technique you can make it abstract

instead of specific I think I've got everything pretty much that you

understand right of course peg and I will be making and

now I just need to draw color purple one that's amber and the the three steps and

wild card I don't need the other color or the artist trading card challenge so

you have drawn a glue stick big and

abstract and the wild card is - draw big

abstract hand okay so that's our challenge for the month I will be

putting the actual graphic in for you right after this so that you can see

what it is and you could print it off it'll also be in the folders in the

Facebook group if you're not in the Facebook group you can certainly go over

there and ask to join just make sure that you answer the questions that come

up or else we won't accept you because we want to make sure that everyone

that's in there is on board with what we're doing that's a challenge which is

no drama and just doing art and no selling or

like that just sharing the art that we do in relationship to the challenges so

that's it for me I hope you enjoy this month's challenge and that you use the

hashtag I forgot about that hashtag pick stick challenge oh seven

one eight that's July 2008 and then for the ATC its hashtag pick a stick

challenge ATC oh seven one eight if you when you

post your pictures on any social media like Instagram or something you can use

those hashtags or if you make a video you can use those touch tags and then

they're easy to find easy for us to find these and then um you also can post your

pictures in the Facebook group in the album that is assigned to these dates so

that everything is very organized that would be like alright that's it for me

bye bye

How To Choose A Wig Style For A Heart-Shaped Face & How To Know If You Have A Heart-Shaped Face - Duration: 2:39.

Hi ladies it's Lee from Woman In Disguise and today we're gonna talk

about the heart-shaped face and styles that will really compliment you if you

have one of the beautiful heart-shaped faces. If you are wondering what that

kind of means in general it means that you tend to be a little wider at your

forehead and through your eyes and then you start to narrow down through your

jawline and your chin, and if you think of some celebrities that have that

heart-shaped face its Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and the lovely Halle

Berry. When you think about styles and you think about those three celebs you

know that you've seen very different hairstyles on each of them which means a

lot of different options work and remember it's not about trying to hide

or change the shape of your face. All we're looking for are tips that we can

use to help accentuate our beautiful features, and and one way to do that with

a heart-shaped face is to really play around with some volume on the top and

that really helped can soften by adding some volume on the top

so you can do some of those updos or add a little volume up there even with some

teasing. The other thing that I love is that Bob's work great with this face

shape and I'm a bob fanatic and so and especially if you do a little bit longer

bob similar to this one and layery, long layers and in waves work really well.

Waves in general really go with that softness of the face and you can go

short because you know you've seen Halle Berry completely look amazing in the

super short pixie cut she has but what you'll notice is that she tends to add

that spike in volume on top and it looks amazing. So please play around try some

different things but know that the most important thing is that you have a

hairstyle that you look in the mirror and

you feel great because that's what really that beauty shines in from the

from the inside out, so when you feel great you look great. So I hope you found

that helpful and please subscribe to my channel woman in disguise and also check

out the website at WomanInDisguise.com and please let me know if you have

questions, comments or topics you want me to cover I'd love to do that. Thanks
