Now I use the Sony a6300 which is a great camera and even shoots 4k, but something it
lacks from the point of a video camera is a headphone out jack to monitor what I'm
recording.
Now for about 100 bucks you can fix this.
The first thing you'd need is a zoom h1 recorder, now, if you've been a video creator
for a while, you might have one lying around, else, you can get this for $99 or even lesser
on Amazon.
Next, you'd need a headphone splitter, any kind would do that supports microphones, the
one I have is about $1 but you can find one for a bit more or less online.
The third item is something you'd definitely have at home, which is a simple aux cable.
Optional also is a cold shoe mount to mount your zoom h1 to your camera.
Now the setup is pretty simple, connect the splitter to the line out on your zoom h1 and
plug in your aux cable and connect your headphones, next connect the aux cable to the camera and
mount the zoom h1 to your camera.
Make sure the zoom h1 is turned on, and you're good to go!
The great thing about this setup is that the zoom h1 also works as a great external microphone,
else you can do what I did, by connecting an extender cable to the line out and using
my rode video mic with this setup, just remember the more you invest, the neater this can get

Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the ICAP 23rd annual Charity Day in London
on Wednesday, December 9, and hopped on the phones to help stockbrokers close deals with
traders.
The Duke of Cambridge got into the spirit of trading and urged the brokerage firm�s
clients to make bigger deals, at one point even yelling into the phone, �Is that all,
James?
Is that all you can do?!
The 33-year-old duchess, who was dressed in a L.K. Bennett �Davina� power suit and
showed off her new shorter �do, was more reserved and polite, often greeting traders
with a �Good morning, how are you?� But she may have been even a little friendlier
with one trader, and her husband of four years couldn�t help but joke about it.
After eavesdropping on one of the deals Kate was making on the phone, William, 33, teasingly
chided, �Catherine, I think you can stop flirting with them now!� He then turned
to a trader standing nearby and said, �Sorry, my wife is just embarrassing me!� That wasn�t
all the fun that the royal couple, who are parents of Prince George, 2, and Princess
Charlotte, 7 months, had at the ICAP offices.
Many of the brokers were dressed up in costume, with various desks featuring different themes.
At one section, the men sported dress shirts, suit jackets, hot pants, and high heels.
Other themes included Day of the Dead, Hollywood, and Scotland.
At a basketball-themed section, the duke and duchess shot some hoops, with William landing
three in a row, and Kate missing her first two shots.
The prince also goaded his wife a little to show her competitive side while touring ICAP�s
offices.
The pair played a game of Ping-Pong with the table set up at ICAP by SportsAid, one of
the charities that the duchess supports, and a beneficiary of Charity Day.
Come on, let�s try and have more than a rally of more two goes,� William teased.
�You�re not normally this polite when we normally play!�
�Or this quiet!� Middleton replied.
