That looks like a really boring book, Casa.
I am going for a swim.
Good! Don't forget to apply your sunblock before you go, or you will come back sun burnt.
Oh! I forgot the sun's UV rays can burn my skin
Ha! Ha! Yes. Thankfully we have the ozone layer to protect us.
But doesn't the ozone layer have a hole in it?
Yes, the ozone layer has been damaged.
But the hole is the smallest right now, in the last 30 years.
Why do we need the ozone layer so much?
Well I am reading a book on evolution of life.
And the ozone plays a very important part in evolution of life on earth!
Isn't that interesting?
Not as interesting as a swim in the sea......Ok! Tell me!
Let's find out!
Where are we Casa?
We are at the beginning of time.
Ha! Ha! Without ozone, life on earth would not have evolved.
The first single celled organism didn't need oxygen for its development.
This type of environment existed on earth 300 million years ago.
As primitive life forms started to evolve, they started to release very small amounts of oxygen in the atmosphere, through photosynthesis.
And slowly all this oxygen became the ozone layer in the stratosphere!
Really? Photosynthesis gives oxygen. Am I right?
Haha! Yes! Ozone is a form of oxygen.
The oxygen that we breathe is two atoms of oxygen bound together.
Ozone on the other hand is made of three atoms of oxygen bound together.
Ozone was first created in a lab by the Dutch chemist Martinus van Marum, in 1785.
He noticed an unusual smell, after some experiments.
Half a century later, Christian Friedrich Schonbein noticed the same smell following a bolt of lightning.
He was successful in isolating the chemical and called it ozone, which means to smell.
Oxygen is converted to ozone by the radiation from the UV radiation in sunlight, creating a shield.
Now I understand! So that is how, ozone protects us from the harmful UV rays.
Yes! That is good ozone.
Ozone can be caused due to pollution and be bad also causing the Green House Effect and smog in the troposphere.
Really!
Yes!
Ok! Come let's go for a swim!
Haha! Yes!

PS 04-27-18 High Stakes for English-speaking Quebecers in the October election - Duration: 4:24.
As a friend of mine might say they are as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room
full of rocking chairs. The Quebec Liberals are on pins and
needles over the english-speaking vote. It can be crucial in some writings and
the premier even admitted they screwed up in the beginning .So it was a very
strongly held belief in the community that their their issues were not
listened to enough. Right on! In fact the Anglo constituency was ignored until
recently but a number of important measures are now on the table. The most
significant being a commitment to proper access plans for health and social
services in English. Now after the abolition of local health boards our
community felt it lost its voice lost control and in turn lost guarantees of
care. Now the race is on for the October 1st election the campaign which I
suspect will get nasty as the wedge issue of identity politics will once
again rear its ugly head. I also suspect that on the morning of October 2nd we
will wake up to a minority government Liberal or CAQ with the PQ holding a
dozen seats and on its way to becoming a distant memory. Now Lisée will get his
fence and it will keep voters out. Yes indeed the Liberals are as nervous as
that cat but like cats they do have more than one life. Play ball!
Will we ever hear those words again in Montreal. There is a group of supporters
with deep pockets who are working for it. Now a new poll this week published in
Le Devoir finds that 58% say yes to baseball but no to government funding
while 32% support the use of public funds. There is little appetite for
spending public money for sports unless of course you are in Quebec City and you
build an NHL arena with taxpayer dollars for a non-existent NHL team. Now the
nostalgia for the days of Nos Amours is so thick you could cut it with a knife.
As it was said and Field of Dreams the "memory so thick
have to wash them away from their faces." The cast of characters who wore the
Expos uniform was simply wonderful and magical but a lot has changed in the
business of baseball since the heady days of the Kid, Vlad, Eli, the Rock and
the Hawk. Will it work? Well maybe so after all the Habs have built an entire
culture around what used to be. sorry couldn't resist after the uproar at City
Hall this week when TVA aired video of Plateau Mayor Luc Ferrandez appearing
to be sleeping during a council meeting it was quickly tagged Dodogate. Now
Ferrandez was hopping mad furious saying he wasn't sleeping just resting and he
vowed not to talk to the reporter again. Thin-skinned shades of Trump who
refuses to talk to media he doesn't like. And speaking of the presidency of
dysfunction this picture taken at the funeral of former first lady Barbara
Bush shows us what is good and decent still about America these are political
foes, four ex-presidents coming together because they share fundamental values of
what it means to be an American values that continue to be the based and
slandered everyday by the 45th president but what they show is that there is
still hope. I'm Barry Wilson you can follow us on Facebook and Twitter and
please subscribe to our YouTube channel and don't forget to check out our weekly
poll on Facebook we want to know what you think!

The Difference Between Apple and Google for App Developers - Duration: 5:16.
Hey, this is the Daily Overpass, my name is Eric and I make apps!
Now today, I wanna talk about the difference between Apple and Google for app developers.
Ok, so this morning I decided once again to do the video outside, to go for a little drive
and pull over to the side of the road before I head into the office.
today I wanna talk a little bit about the differences between Apple and Google for app
developers.
I've already established this week that I am upset with Apple because they rejected
another app.
I've done so many apps with them, it's just something I expect! When I submit an app to
the App store, I think it's like a 50 50 percent chance of it actually going through these
days!
It's ridiculous, it is absolutely ridiculous the way it is.
And I started thinking about...I thought I would talk about the differences between the
Apple app store and Google play for new app developers that are just getting into this,
so you know what to be prepared for.
And I think, the biggest thing between Apple and Google is the mentality, which is that
Google wants me to be there.
Google wants app developers.
The more apps Google can have, the better.
They'll reject it if you break the rules, if they find that you're doing something wrong
they will take it out because you're damaging the platform, but Google wants you to be there.
To Apple, the app developer is almost a nuisance.
This may be unfair, I'm sure if I had Angry Birds or some big million download apps, they
might be a bit nicer to me but this is just the way I've always found it.
One of the things about Google is I'm constantly getting contacted by Google with new events.
At one point I remember, when my first app was getting quite a few downloads, they contacted
me and said "hey, we would like to give you a consultant, put a consultant on you so we
can talk a little bit about how you can improve ad performance", and that was my first talking
with an AdMob representative.
Not everybody gets this, there are probably hundreds of thousands of app developers, I
don't know what the actual stat is, so they can't see everybody but they are.
They do want you to be there.
They're always improving the Google Play platform, they're giving you lots of reporting tools.
Now the app store is improving too regularly, but not the same amount.
I have so much trouble with Apple that I never got the impression that they actually want
me to be there.
I feel like they tolerate me.
They tolerate me as an app developer, they say "we have an app for that, we have all
these apps on the app store" - they like to talk about how many apps there are but to
me, I might be jilted, but anybody who's ever used iTunes connect versus the Google Play
developer console knows that there's a better focus on developers on the Google Play developer
console, and the iTunes connect is just a terrible user experience.
If you're an Apple fanboy, you might disagree with that but that is just definitely my opinion.
What do you guys think?
I know a lot of people who watch this channel are Android only developers, but the reason
I buy this stupid iPhone, which I don't actually want - I'd rather have the Pixel 2 as my day
to day device - is because I need it to test iOS 11 applications.
My other test phone no longer works.
So I'm fully in, I have to spend money on an organisation that I just....I am buying
stuff from a company that doesn't like me as a developer.
That's the way it feels.
I might be a bit jilted, let me know what you guys think.
If you just do Apple stuff, you might think it's a great user experience, if you do Apple
and Google play, for me I've always found Google Play to be a much better developer
experience.
It's not just because they don't do reviews - if they did reviews I think they would be
better at it!
And of course because they don't do reviews, Google Play is so much more crowded.
Like I said, apps never die, they just sort of fade away.
A good app never dies, it just fades away!
Whereas on Apple , if you don't renew your developer account like if it's just not worth
it, they go away, they upgrade to iOS 11, and if you didn't keep up with it they go
away.
So Apple is very good at culling the old stuff.
But you know, I guess it's just my opinion.
Let me know what you guys think!
If you develop for both, do you find this?
Do you find that Apple tolerates you and Google Play actually wants you to be there?
Because that's the way that I've always thought of it, and that's the way that it seems to
me.
So anyway, that's it for today, I'll talk to you guys tomorrow!

Graviola: A Natural Miracle for Curing Cancer - Duration: 9:05.
Graviola: A Natural Miracle for Curing Cancer
Graviola is a natural alternative for the curing and prevention of cancer.
Learn all about its benefits here!.
For a long time, the treatments for several deadly diseases, like cancer, have been derived from scientific methods, with dubious effectiveness in the majority of cases.
The fear of the general public and the strong pressure exercised by official medicinal authorities, traditional medicine collectives, and pharmaceutical laboratories dedicated to the curing of cancer, have created a situation that when a person finds out that they have this terrifying illness, they dont dare to look for less aggressive and more natural options.
But if you dont want to go through harsh treatment, there are natural medicinal treatments, with tested and proven effectiveness, that are making headway in the face of official treatments.
These treatments have been proven to be just as effective, and sometimes even more effective, than official treatments for various types of cancer, and, even better, without the harsh side effects of official treatments (immune system deterioration, hair loss, etc.) and other secondary effects of chemotherapy, such as a dangerous amount of weight loss (known as cachexia); sad consequences which many times are not only the result of the illness, but also the chemotherapeutic treatment, such as constant, uncontrollable vomiting.
Origin, characteristics, and cultivation of graviola.
In reality, nobody knows exactly where graviola originated, although many people consider that since native Mesoamericans cultivated it all throughout the tropical Americas, and even in Africa, its natural zone of origin is predominantly the humid tropics.
Graviola is a deciduous tree; that is, during a certain time of year, its leaves fall off and the tree does not produce fruit.
The flowers appear between the months of October and January, and the tree bears fruit (the exquisite soursop fruit) sometime between the months of December and April.
The graviola tree is very resistant to winds, droughts, and damage from termites.
The graviola tree is very well-known for its fruit, the soursop, which looks very similar to a large cherimoya, or custard apple, covered with spines, with very juicy flesh.
It provides a very refreshing and tasty juice, and for this reason its often used in the making of ice desserts, jellies, marmalades, and refreshing beverages.
Graviola, the natural chemotherapy.
So in this article were talking about a plant, with the scientific name well-known as the soursop, graviola, and by many different names in various places around the world (for example, the guanábana in Spanish, or the stafeli in Kiswahili).
The graviola tree is native throughout all of Mesoamerica.
The main reason that were talking about graviola today, however, is its natural cancer-fighting power.
There are many studies that prove this fact.
In the United States National Institute of Cancer, it was proven in 1976 that graviola has a chemotherapy power over 10,000 times greater than the compound Adriamycin one of the most aggressive compounds employed in actual chemotherapy.
But in addition to that, it also has an extraordinary property which is radically different to traditional chemotherapy.
That property? While traditional chemotherapy attacks healthy cells at the same rate as cancerous cells, because chemotherapy cannot distinguish between sick cells and regular cells, graviola leaves health cells alone, while it attacks (with great power) cancerous cells, slowing and stopping their growth in as little as 48 hours.
Many other studies have also proven their cancer-fighting benefits.
Mainly, in the year 1997 in a study at Purdue University in Indiana, a study proved that graviola has anti-carcinogenic powers when fighting heart cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, bladder cancer, rectal cancer, esophageal cancer, colon cancer, and likewise, its effectiveness as a treatment against leukemia.
Anti-cancerous properties.
Owing to the presence of a naturally chemotherapeutic chemical, called Acetogenin, in its leaves, graviola has cancer-fighting abilities 10,000 times stronger that Adriamycin (a toxic substance of artificial origin).
Natural chemotaxis is a process in which the compound attacks cells that contain some chemical substances (ones that are unique to malignant or cancerous cells), while leaving alone healthy cells, while unnatural chemotherapies work by firing at will, meaning that they attack cancerous cells and healthy cells, which harms the body overall.
Proper dosage.
The best way to take graviola is to take a preparation of ground-up graviola leaves, either in capsules or in pills, about 15 to 20 minutes before you eat.
Preventative use: The adequate amount is to take approximately 500 mg in the half hour before you start eating.
Curative use: Take the preventative dose 500 mg, multiplied by 2 (1 gram) or up to 4 (2 grams), according to the type and severity of your illness.
Other uses: Graviola, a natural miracle.
Although the main use of graviola is as an anti-carcinogenic, graviola is a plant which also has antibacterial, anti-parasite, antispasmodic (helps control muscle spasms), astringent, insecticide, hypotensorial (helps lower arterial tension) and antithelmintic (helps remove intestinal worms) properties.
Therefore, we always recommend that you take at least the preventative dose.
We know that graviola is a veritable miracle for keeping you healthy, and its one of the most powerful natural medicines that exists.

iHR Advisory Services - Bill 148 Vacation pay, information for businesses - Duration: 1:38.
- Business owners need to be aware that any employee
that's worked for them for five or more years is now
entitled to three weeks vacation pay or if they're paying
it on the biweekly pay then that means it's 6%
in lieu of vacation instead of the 4% in lieu
of vacation.
Any employee who's worked for you less than five years
gets a minimum of two weeks paid vacation or 4% in lieu.
And any employee who's worked with you for more than five
years, five or more years is entitled to 6% in lieu
of vacation or three weeks of vacation pay.
It's important to communicate that to anybody who's doing
your payroll.
They should be tracking all of that information for you
and they should have the original start date that your
employee was hired.
You should also be keeping track of it so that before the
employee hits that five year milestone you're having a
conversation with the employee to let them know,
hey by the way you're entitled to this additional vacation
pay and you're gonna start to see that change on
the paycheck.
Employers often forget to talk about all of the details
that make is a happy and healthy workplace and sometimes
understanding the compensation strategy including the
vacation pay is an important component to be
communicating with your employees about on a regular basis.
