When I am already here in Vanuatu my pastime is internet surfing,

until I came across and watched the activities of the Church Of Christ.

It features Africa, the works of brother Narcing [Sanchez] in Kenya.

I was delighted and I commented that I wish I hope there would be activities like that here in Vanuatu.

So days passed and someone messaged me, he introduced himself, brother Glenn [David]

then we continued in our conversations thru messenger,

then he asked me what is the potential, what's the status [in propagation works],

I said this place in Vanuatu the people are religious,

there are many religions here but the Church Of Christ hasn't reached this place.

Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve - Duration: 3:17.

One of the important reasons why we're here today is to think about and reflect upon what

being a veteran means .

Health and Human Services is going to reaffirm their commitment to all of their over 2,000

employees who are veterans and those serving in the Guard Reserve ...

… to let them know that we have their back.

If they are deployed, if they're mobilized, whatever the military duty requirement is,

that we have their back while they're gone.

The statement of support is our way as HHS of saying we support those members of our

employees who are members of the National Guard and reserves

All over the place, wherever they get called, whatever they're called to do, the Health

and Human Services is here to support them.

We're gonna be here as an agency, we're gonna support them while they're gone and when they

get back.

We're here for you.

And it's important because we want them to know that, if they have a military duty, if

they have a training, if they have a deployment, that they can focus their hundred-percent

attention on taking care of those military duties and responsibilities while we, as their

employer, will take care of their state employment while they're gone.

When we get called to duty, we want to know that we can go and we can serve and not have anything

to worry about.

They put aside their families, their jobs, and they go out to do their duty to serve

our country.

And, so as an employer, it's the smallest thing that we can do to try and take care of them

and meet their needs and ensure that, when they come back, we're supportive of their of

their deployment, of their interaction, and getting them re-acclimated to the day-to-day

activities that they perform for us on the employer side.

It's an opportunity again for us to say that we appreciate your service.

We will be here for you.

We're committed to you, and we want to do what we can to ensure your success on the

civilian side of things.

I can't even tell you how much of a peace that brings to me when I'm serving and while

I'm here helping my other veterans when they get called.

Veterans Day is a time when we should all think about the freedoms that we have.

But people fought for those, people died for those, people sacrifice for those.

Veterans Day, for us, is a time to be remindful of their sacrifice.

HHS, we serve people.

"Human services."

What can be more admirable than serving those who have given so much for each and every

one of us?

Just recently being called out to Harvey, it was refreshing to call back, talk to my boss, say,

"Is there anything I need to do?"

And to get cut off by my boss and say, "You know what?"

Don't call me. We got your back; you do what you got to do. We're here for you."

💃 5 DIY Rustic Home Décor for a Small and attractive Bathroom 💃 - Duration: 5:28.

Managing a DIY rustic home décor for small bathroom is possible and doable.

In fact, the whole experience can be fun and exciting,

as long as you know what you expect from the outcome.

The problem with small bathroom is the limited space

which can discourage some people to do attractive decoration work.

However, if you are creative enough,

there are some possible ways to manage the bathroom layout

not to mention that you can include rustic style into the design.

This is 5 DIY Rustic Home Décor for a Small and attractive Bathroom

by your list maker simphome.com

5.Mason Jar Makeup Station

If you use the bathroom as the place to apply your makeup,

you know that it can be challenging to store and place your makeup.

With limited space and storage area,

your makeup items may likely be scattered around here and there.

No need to worry, though, because this solution isn't only smart, but also stylish.

Use an old board and several mason jars.

Attach those jars to the board

and then install the board close to the mirror with wall mounted style.

Mason jars are quite ideal as storage containers

because of their thickness, quality, and transparency.

Want to categorize each jar with different items?

You can do it easily!

4.Floating Shelves

If you don't really have a lot of space for storing your bathroom equipments,

and yet you have this open and free wall,

why not using them?

With the floating shelves, you can add up storage space

not to mention create an attractive view.

In most cases, The floating shelves projects are easy to complete.

Whether you want to paint it or not, it is up to you.

Even if you don't, the natural colors will only enhance the rustic feel.

Make use the area around the bathtub because it is usually vacant.

3.Shelved Holder for Toilet Paper

Having a toilet paper holder and a display rack may not cross your mind at all,

but this isn't a bad idea after all.

If you can manage this DIY rustic home décor for small bathroom idea,

not only you will have a unique toilet paper holder,

but you can also use the platform to display your items.

It is simple and yet creative.

It is also catchy because you are free

to use any kind of hook that can hold the toilet paper firmly.

2.Floating Wicker Baskets

This idea is almost similar to the floating shelves,

but instead of using wooden shelves, this one is using baskets.

You can create a vertical storage area by attaching hooks or nooks for the baskets.

Managing it in the vertical line isn't only good to save up space

but it also created nice (and somewhat balanced) visual appeal.

Race for the East Episode 3 - Duration: 4:14.

Tim!!

I'm starting to lose confidence

in your leadership man!

Where are you taking us?

Ow!

Look at these mosquitos!

They're starting to think I'm

the all you can eat Chinese buffet!

Come on Fish

I hear water.

Why? You want a shower?

What does that matter?

Don't you remember

what the wise man of the mountain said?

Here is your next challenge

and destination.

The next step of your journey

will take you overland

and to the Sea.

We have to find water.

If we find a river

we'll find the ocean.

If we find the ocean

we'll get to where we're going.

We need to find a river.

Just....like....this.

But it was just hard

especially with all the complaints

I got from Tim!

Somebody

needed to be the anchor

to keep our morale high.

And that was this guy!

I knew

to get to the ocean

we had to go

and follow this river.

But in order to do that

we had to get through this valley.

The ground was muddy

If it rained

we were in danger of flooding.

God did not promise us

an easy journey

but He did promise us

if we stick with Him

We will get

to our destination eventually.

The wind was so strong

we can barely hold on.

But then we saw it.

Sometimes following God

will take us to the dark valley

but often

that's where we see

His beauty.

Once we left the dark valley

and see the river in front of us

I knew for sure

we will reach the East.

Sometimes in life

we feel like we're lost

and we just

don't have any idea

where to go

but if we keep on following

the Word of God

it will lead us

exactly the right way.

And despite Tim's

questionable leadership

Once we got to the river

like I said

we knew

it was going to take us home.

N. Korean leader to walk across military demarcation line for summit talks - Duration: 2:18.

South Korea's summit preparatory committee revealed a detailed schedule of the itinerary

tomorrow.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will walk across the military demarcation line.

Aside from making such symbolic gestures, the two leaders will be kept busier than ever...

as they not only touch on the difficult issue of denuclearization... but also engage in

some friendly activities.

Cha Sang-mi provides a glimpse of what's to come.

The historic third inter-Korean summit will start at 9:30 AM on Friday... at the truce

village of Panmunjom.

And according to South Korea's summit preparatory committee on Thursday,... North Korean leader

Kim Jong-un will cross the inter-Korean border on foot.

Kim is expected to make his way to Panmunjom on car... and cross the Military Demarcation

Line... between the Military Armistice Commission T2 and T3 buildings.

He'll be greeted by President Moon Jae-in... and the two will then walk together towards

the Peace House,... where the summit talks will take place.

On their way, they'll inspect a guard of honor, as part of the official welcoming ceremony.

After Kim Jong-un signs the guest book,... the talks will begin at 10:30 AM.

The leaders will have lunch separately.

In the afternoon, the two leaders will plant a ceremonial pine tree on the military demarcation

line,... also laying a keystone that reads (quote) "Here we plant peace and prosperity."

After taking a short walk together to the MDL signpost, engaging in some friendly conversation,...

they will wrap up their summit talks,... sign and announce a joint statement.

However, the format of the agreement announcement as well as the location are yet to be revealed.

The day will end with a welcoming dinner and a farewell party.

According to the the summit preparatory committee,...

Friday's talks on denuclearization are expected to very challenging compared to previous instances

as they come on the heels of Pyongyang declaring its nuclear and missile programs successful.

"The difficult part is to what extent the two leaders can agree on... and how that agreement

can be expressed and stipulated.

Though we say we've explicitly seen eye-to-eye on achieving denuclearization,... a perfect

agreement can't be determined at the working-level.

The most essential parts are left up to the leaders."

There's an Herb for That: 9 Uses for Chrysanthemum - Duration: 5:24.

Hi, Malerie here. In this video I'm going to be sharing with you one of my

favorite herbs. This herb is the first in the series called, "There's an Herb for

That." This series was really inspired by this herb that I'm going to be talking

to you about as well as my own use of herbal medicine in my personal life and

the use of herbs in my practice. So often I have patients that come to me with

different ailments and as we're talking about treatment I find myself thinking

or even saying out loud, There's an Herb for That!" Why not use natural medicine

that has grown from our earth to help your body heal from whatever ails you.

It's really pretty awesome. So this herb that I'm going to introduce you to today

is called, Chrysanthemum! In Chinese medicine this

beautiful flower is known as Ju Hua. One of its most exceptional qualities is

that it clears heat from the body meaning that when you're experiencing

something that's red and hot, chrysanthemum is cooling, so it's going

to clear that heat from the body. Chrysanthemum is really great at working

with specific types of heat and those specific types of heat fall into nine

different uses. Those nine uses are going to be for dry red swollen itchy eyes, as

well as the second being sore throat, the third being a fever, the fourth being

acne, and the fifth being rashes, the sixth being high blood pressure, the

seventh is dizziness, the eighth is a pounding headache, and the ninth is going to

be a restless mind. So if you're kind of sitting back and thinking, "hmmm okay

well those first signs and symptoms really make sense, I understand how

they're clearing heat from the body, but what about those other ones? Those

don't show signs of heat. Well, I've gone a little bit further into detail on those

last few in the article that's associated with this video. There's a

link to that below. Be sure that you check that out if you're curious about

how chrysanthemum works to clear that particular type of heat.

Western medicine tells us that chrysanthemum is an antibiotic,

it's antiseptic, it does scientifically show that it lowers blood pressure, and

it also reduces fever. So a lot of those things that I mentioned we've got

Western medicine to back up Chinese medicine as well or confirm what

Chinese medicine already knows. Juha or chrysanthemum really has a

special place in my apothecary, mostly because the first time that I used it

clinically was on our family dog. She was outside playing with the water that

comes from the hose and that hose just so happened to be spraying out

fertilizer. She came into the house. she was drenched in water and in fertilizer

and she was rubbing her eyes. They were red and itchy. You could just

tell that she was very uncomfortable. I went to my apothecary grabbed Ju Hua and

created an infusion with it. Which means, I placed some herb into a cup and then

poured hot water over the cup, covered the cup, and let the herbs infuse into the

hot water for about three minutes I let them infuse and then once that

time was up I took a cotton ball and saturated it with the infused water and

then placed that cotton ball over her eyes. I did this several times throughout

that day and the next morning she woke up and her eyes were completely normal.

She wasn't irritated, they weren't noticeably red

and I could just tell that she was happier and really thanking me with

those bright brown eyes for helping relieve her discomfort. With that, I want

to encourage you to go out and buy some Ju hua. Experiment with it a little bit. You

can create it in an infusion, drinking it as a tea or even using it as a poultice

or on a cotton ball for your red and itchy irritated eyes or even rashes and

acne. You can learn a little bit more about this topic again in my associated

article. There's a link for that below. Go out and buy some Ju Hua, tell me about

your experience in the comments below and if you want to take your herbal

knowledge further please consider joining me in my back - or excuse me

beyond the benefits herbal medicine for kitchen herb health and I

will see you soon. Thanks for watching!

7 Solutions to Find Relief for Heat Allergies - Australia 365 - Duration: 10:06.

7 Solutions to Find Relief for Heat Allergies

Heat can cause allergies called urticaria.

This is a negative reaction that affects the skin due to sudden changes in body and climactic temperatures.

This tends to happen from prolonged exposure to the sun and other sources of heat.

This can also occur after high-impact exercise.

You will see a rash, eruptions and redness.

This is almost always accompanied by an uncomfortable sensation of itching and burning.

The rash appears on the cheeks, the neck, under the breasts and in other sensitive areas of the skin.

In some cases, this condition can even cause a fever, nausea and stomach problems that manifest themselves in pain and inflammation.

While some symptoms can be controlled by antihistamines and cortisone, some natural home remedies can help.

Below, we'll share the 7 best remedies to use at the first sign of allergies.

Dry yeast.

Applying dry yeast to the skin can help to calm the itching and the rash caused by this condition.

Its properties regulate the pH, alleviate the inflammation and have a calming effect.

Dampen a bit of yeast with water and rub it over the irritated skin.

Let sit for 20 minutes and then rinse with cold water.

Repeat until the symptoms disappear.

However, few people know that it also helps allergies, regulates the PH of the skin and diminishes itching.

How to use it.

Apply a little bit of olive oil on the skin an rub softly.

Let the skin absorb it and repeat twice a day.

Aloe vera.

As expected, the wonderful aloe vera gel also serves as a lifesaver for the symptoms of this type of skin ailment.

Given that it provides great quantities of water and antioxidants, it promotes natural moisture and balances the skin's pH.

Ingredients.

How to use it.

Rub one tablespoon of gel against the areas affected.

Wait for 20 minutes, then rinse with cold water.

Do this three times a day.

In addition, the tea can be ingested directly to regulate body temperature and digestive problems.

Ingredients.

1 tablespoon of chamomile 1 cup of water.

How to use it.

Add a tablespoon of dry chamomile to a cup of boiling water and let it sit for 10 minutes.

When it reaches a tolerable temperature, rub over the affected skin.

Oatmeal has hydrating, repairing, and calming properties.

It's also a great remedy for this condition.

Apply oatmeal directly decreases redness, calms the itching and alleviates eruptions and rashes.

How to use it.

Add a cup of oatmeal to the water in the bath tub and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Then, get in the tub.

Optional: Mix the oatmeal with rose water and apply by massaging softly over the affected zones.

Repeat once a day until the symptoms are controlled.

Apple cider vinegar.

Apple cider vinegar is useful to regulate the natural pH of the skin.

At the same time, it prevents allergic reactions.

Its direct application helps to alleviate allergies and diminish redness and itching.

How it is used.

Mix equal parts of water and vinegar.  Put it in a spray bottle and spread it over the affected area.

Let the skin absorb this naturally and repeat twice a day.

As you can see, with just a few 100% natural ingredient, you can say goodbye to bothersome heat allergies.

However, it's important to avoid using these remedies together since this can cause undesirable reactions.

Use the one that appeals to you the most and follow the recommendations given to obtain the best results.

(7/8) the kybun knee exercise set - Knee exercises for first thing in the morning – Part 2 - Duration: 4:24.

This is another exercise that you can do in bed in the morning.

Begin by sitting up, putting one leg under the thigh of the other leg,

then placing the other leg over your knee and see-sawing back and forth

for as long as you're able to do it,

until you reach your pain threshold. Don't exceed your pain threshold.

Now bring your right leg closer and closer to your body,

until it is eventually possible to place your two knees on top of each other.

Bounce, and keep repeating these springy movements

that alleviate your fascial agglutinations.

If you've already gotten rid of those, this keeps you active so that they don't clump.

See this exercise as a step towards being able to sit cross-legged.

Now do your other leg.

Again, take one leg,

this time your right leg, and put it under your left thigh.

And again, always bring the heel of the left foot

closer to the thigh of your right leg,

until finally your two knees are on top of each other, then bounce.

It's best to do it in bed on a springy elastic mattress.

Another exercise you can do in bed is to bring your feet together, pull them towards yourself,

and spread your knees out, then bouncing on the springy duvet. You can also do

this on a kybun mat, or simply rock back and forth on something bouncy.

Press your knee down while bouncing it a little.

If you have medial meniscus problems on the inside of you knee,

it's important to stretch your fascial lines,

so that they do not pull on your knee.

Pulling on your knee would trigger pain.

Don't overdo it; always stay below your pain threshold,

but try to press your knees a little further down every week.

Believe me when I say that the day you are able

to sit cross-legged is the day that you will be free from pain.

So be sure to stay on track: Practice the different stretching exercises,

including those in which you can bounce and bounce some more

until you reach a better final position with your knees.

The goal is to one day be able to put one leg over the other.

Believe me when I say that I wouldn't have been able to do this

one year ago, or even six months ago, and now, as you can see, I can.

Even though bone rubs against bone here, the cruciate ligaments have worn down and

the menisci have been completely destroyed, I have been able to do this without any pain.

Now that I can live my life without pain, I can play football and go skiing, and although

I'm now sixty-five years of age, I feel practically as fit as a thirty-year-old

when it comes to my knees and musculoskeletal system.

Mobility of the future: Test environment for automated driving - Duration: 3:57.

Automated driving represents the future of mobility

but today it is met with a mixture of excitement and fear.

Therefore, the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology, bmvit,

is supporting research designed to better understand the safety, efficiency

and environmental benefits of automated driving, based on the action plan 2016.

A key part of the ministry's effort is establishing integrated research and testing facilities

They strengthen international cooperation, support common learning, generate added value

and help secure jobs in a key sector of the Austrian economy.

These facilities bring together road operators, research institutes, industry and users

to test autonomous driving technologies in real traffic situations.

In the DigiTrans project the focus is on the efficiency and safety of long middle and short

distance goods traffic, the operation of logistic hubs and industrial transport solutions.

In the ALP.Lab project an alliance of scientific institutions,

automotive suppliers and infrastructure providers, are focusing on the use of

autonomous driving for automobile traffic.

Both projects create sophisticated test environments

and follow a highly structured process to obtain consistent and relevant results.

They will extensively test components and systems under laboratory conditions

and then use the resulting data in simulations to better understand how they could work in real environments.

The projects will also test autonomous driving technology on non public roads,

proving grounds and roadways already equipped with tire to environment communications infrastructure.

These tests will evaluate autonomous driving and real traffic and under diverse environmental conditions.

In addition to these testing facility projects, the ministry is funding research on automated driving.

For example the Connecting Austria project investigates

the requirements for energy efficient semi automated truck platoons.

It considers the infrastructure and truck based technology needed to for example

establish a platoon after entering a motorway,

guide the platoon when approaching hazardous situations

and terminate the platoon.

It will also consider platoon behavior in complex situations

like passing through an intersection.

Connecting Austria will test these technologies enclosed in open environments

and will cooperate closely with the DigiTrans project.

To other lighthouse research projects, Digibus Austria and auto.bus-Seestadt,

will test autonomous driving technology for public transport.

They will consider topics including operation and diverse driving environments,

infrastructure requirements and vehicle behavior in traffic.

An important part of these projects will be studying interaction and communication

with passengers and other roadway users and complex situations created by

different road and environmental conditions.

As with all projects a key focus will be the safety and public benefit of autonomous vehicles.

Together they will strengthen Austria's position

as a leader in autonomous driving and automotive industry innovation.

The researchers are working closely together by sharing knowledge and testing facilities,

thus helping maximise their effectiveness.

7 Nutritious Foods for People with Osteoarthritis - Duration: 7:02.

7 Nutritious Foods for People with Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis is a disease caused by the breakdown of joint cartilage that serves to cushion the joint and prevent rubbing between bones.

Osteoarthritis is associated with the biological deterioration that comes with age.

However, it can appear early due to bad habits, another disease, or trauma.

It is characterized by inflammation and pain in your joints, almost always in the neck and spinal column, though also in the hands and knees.

It may be accompanied by stiffness and a tingling feeling and may lead to difficulty moving, in serious cases.

But these symptoms can be managed with medical treatment, generally complemented with a special diet.

And though many people dont realize it, some nutrients, in particular,  have a positive effect on joint health.

Today, wed like to give a special mention to the following 7 foods that are great for anyone with this condition.

1. Oily fish

Oily fish contain a moderate number of calories and, unlike other meat, anti-inflammatories, which are ideal for people with joint problems.

Theyre a significant source of high-quality protein that, once absorbed, help protect your cartilage so that it doesnt break down.

Thanks to its omega 3 fatty acids, it lowers inflammation in your tissues.

It also creates a protective barrier against the free radicals that can do so much damage to your cells.

Some of the most recommendable varieties are:.

Herring, Salmon, Sardines, Trout, Mackerel, Tuna.

2. Citrus fruits

Citrus fruits are one of the most powerful sources of vitamin C in all of nature.

Therefore, due to their antioxidants, they are a big help for anyone with osteoarthritis.

This essential nutrient is involved in the formation of collagen and proteoglycan, two of the main components of cartilage, your bones natural cushion.

The antioxidants and anti-inflammatories in citrus fruits inhibit the activity of free radicals, which are responsible for the early aging of tissues.

Some great varieties are:.

Lemons, Oranges, Grapefruits, Mandarins, Guayaba.

3. Carrots

The carotenes in carrots have a remarkable effect on the protection of joint cartilage, reducing the risk of premature breakdown.

This nutrient, together with the essential minerals in carrots, contribute to the regeneration of damaged bone tissue and controls inflammation and pain.

Carrots also support your immune system and protect your body from infections that can make osteoarthritis worse.

4. Melon

Melons are a low-calorie fruit that are easy to incorporate into all kinds of food plans, no matter your age.

Known for their high water content, more than 90%, theyre a very recommendable fruit for people with joint problems.

This quality makes them a potent diuretic, ideal at reducing the fluid retention that makes tissue inflammation worse.

Melons also contain beta-carotenes, an antioxidant that creates vitamin A and thus helps stop the progression of osteoarthritis.

5. Linseed

The omega 3 fatty acids in linseed are a big help when it comes to managing inflammation in people with osteoarthritis.

Having linseed daily helps relieve pain and, in the long-term, strengthens cartilage, halting its deterioration.

Its worth mentioning that it also contains vitamin E.

Because of its antioxidant powers, this vitamin helps keep free radicals from damaging your cells.

6. Tofu

This food, low in calories and high in antioxidants, is a healthy choice for relieving osteoarthritis symptoms.

Tofus high amount of calcium helps protect your bones and joints.

The cartilage that cushions your bones is also protected from early breakdown.

It contains a small amount of omega 3 fatty acids too, which works with the minerals in tofu to help reduce inflammation in your joint tissues.

7. Spinach

The antioxidants in spinach neutralize the negative effects of free radicals on your joints.

In turn, they relieve inflammation.

Spinach also provides folic acid and calcium, both of which are necessary for strong bones and cartilage.

Consuming these foods isnt a treatment for osteoarthritis by itself.

However, it is indeed a good idea to add them to your diet and support your joint health.

Make an effort to incorporate them into your diet and enjoy better health.
