Son starves for days whenever his mom scolds him. [Hello Counselor / 2017.08.28] - Duration: 14:48.

You said she hasn't cooked for you since then.

We should find out how hurt she was then.

Let's talk to their mother.

Hello, ma'am.

Hi.

She's so cute.

Does your son really starve when he's angry?

He doesn't eat at all.

I cook for him just in case he wants to eat.

I always have something prepared.

But no matter what food I offer him,

he won't eat at all.

It breaks my heart when he doesn't eat.

I cry a river of tears inside.

He doesn't express his anger to anyone else.

He gets over it by starving.

That's so tough for me to watch.

I feel bad for my son.

When he threw down the food that you cooked,

how did you feel?

That was my fault.

I realized that I shouldn't cook for him anymore.

All parents feel the same way.

They all want their children to eat well.

It's like dry land being watered.

What time do you get up to cook breakfast?

I wake up at 5 a.m.

In your opinion...

It's a habit for me to wake up at 5 a.m.

In your opinion,

do you nag your son too much?

I don't think I do,

but he doesn't want to listen if I tell him things.

I end up repeating myself without realizing it.

It's because you can't hear very well.

I can't hear my mom nag me even if I want to.

You know she's heartbroken when you don't eat.

Aren't you taking advantage of it to hurt her?

In a way, yes.

(Shocked)

- It's willful negligence. / - That's wrong.

I've tried to talk to my mom

in order to change her ways

and change her habits.

If she had changed after I talked to her,

I never would've starved.

I must go to extremes by starving

in order for her to respond to my words.

What is it that you want her to change?

I just told you.

- Her nagging you? / - Yes.

(Nagging)

I don't want her to repeat the same things.

But all mothers are like that.

We're shocked right now because

you said you wanted to change her habits.

If she had bad habits like stealing,

then you should try to change her habits.

We'd understand.

But her saying that you should get married

or cooking breakfast for you are the things

you want her to change? That's just shocking.

I'm still not married, either,

so I tried hard to understand your stance.

I changed my mom. She'd gotten addicted to dancing.

I tattled on her to my dad to break her bad habit.

But something like this...

How dare a son say that to his mother?

Your mom was upset because of your dad.

You don't understand.

She gave away so many fish to other men.

If you're this frustrated, why don't you move out?

I used to live with my mom in Daegu.

Then about 10 years ago, she grew very ill.

I asked her what she wanted, and she told me

she wanted to live in a place with clean air.

So I built a house in a rural area for her.

I thought I'd be ecstatic to live on my own,

but I was too worried about her every night.

Since my sick mother was all alone.

So I ended up selling our house in Daegu,

and I moved in with her in the rural area.

So you're taking care of her by living with her.

He's such a good son.

You're a good son. Why are you like this?

I'm so frustrated.

I get that you're her son, and you care for her.

But most parents treat their children

like little kids regardless of age.

Most children don't break their parents' hearts

on purpose by starving

just because their parents nag them.

Your sister told us that

your mom once apologized to you on her knees.

How did you feel then? Didn't it break your heart?

Yes, it broke my heart.

But after seeing it several times, I became numb.

If she had reflected on her behavior,

she should stop doing those things.

But she ends up doing the same things again.

What do you mean, reflect on her behavior?

You're treating your mom like your child.

"You did something you shouldn't again!"

Does that make any sense?

It's funny because...

It was inconvenient when you lived alone, right?

Right.

You were worried, but it also felt inconvenient.

Because you're too used to living with your mom.

I know very well that

she loves me. I do.

But the way she loves me is wrong.

There's no wrong way to love a child!

They say you become a child again when you age.

You said you get upset when she repeatedly tells you

to do something, but we all know this story.

A child asks his mom, "Mom, what's that bird?"

"It's a sparrow."

"Mom, what's that bird?" "It's a sparrow."

A mom answers her child's question over and over.

Now she's older, and she repeats what she says.

You should take it like she did when you were a boy.

It'd be sad to see that.

You should realize that your mom has aged now.

Good job, Taejoon.

(Hmm...)

Was he doted on because he was the youngest?

I think he must've been.

I have one older brother and one younger.

He's six years younger than I am.

Our mom really doted on him.

Whenever there was food,

she would give it to him first.

She sort of caused this by spoiling him.

He's used to whining at her.

So he's used to yelling at her, too.

Your mother is quite old now.

What if she gets dementia

and keeps saying the same thing over and over?

How would you feel then?

I also really wanted to ask him that.

So she keeps saying the same things...

If it was due to an illness,

I would understand.

An illness doesn't come all at once,

right when she gets diagnosed by a doctor.

What if she gradually loses her mind and changes?

Couldn't you be way more understanding then?

As soon as you said that...

I don't think I ever imagined that in my life.

I never did.

I've just imagined what it would be like.

That would be terrible.

You're single, and I'm single.

What? You want to marry him?

(What?)

Yes, let's have a drink together one day.

My mother is the same.

I'm taking care of my mother,

but that's not how she sees it.

She feels like she's doing something for me,

and that keeps her healthy.

My mom came to see me from Cheonan.

We have different taste in clothes.

I chose my T-shirt, but my mom chose my shorts.

They're too big. I wore these when I was fatter.

I still wore the shorts, since she picked them out.

- Today? / - Today?

Look. Aren't these shorts ridiculous?

Think about it. (How to become a good daughter)

(Let's take time to laugh a bit)

We have someone here who can be more objective.

He's a friend. He's here with us, too.

(Hello)

How do you know him?

We go to the same church.

Which of you is older?

As you can see, he is.

Did you know that he doesn't eat when he's angry?

I happened to visit his home once.

She's a great cook.

She thought it was her chance to get him to eat.

So she used me as an excuse to feed him.

I was grateful.

Because she told me to eat more.

You enjoyed eating her food.

But he said that he wasn't hungry

and just left.

I didn't know what to do.

"Should I leave, too?"

You wanted to eat more, right?

But he didn't eat the next day, either.

He didn't eat dinner, either.

He was starving over something so trivial,

so I couldn't understand him.

You said it depends on the situation.

How many days does it take for your anger to cool?

Nowadays, about three or four days.

It used to be a week.

After the breakup, one month.

Let's flip things around. Imagine your mom is mad

and says she won't eat for a week.

How would you feel?

She says it's just what she does, and she won't talk.

Oh, geez.

He's finally thinking from her point of view.

- I'm speechless. / - Right?

You should've thought from her point of view.

What are you most concerned about?

He shouldn't vent by himself.

I want him to let it all out and get over it.

I don't want him to starve.

I want to do everything for him.

Since he's your youngest child.

I tell him things out of love,

and I end up forgetting that he doesn't like that.

I blame myself for doing it again.

I feel so bad for him.

Ma'am.

I want to be good to him, but it isn't easy.

Ma'am.

Thank you so much for this great opportunity.

We're glad you're here, too.

(Thanks for coming today!)

It's not a bad thing to forget. Just forget.

It'll be harder on you if you try not to forget.

It's okay. Just forget about it.

We don't remember what we did yesterday.

I raised my older children with love.

I would lie down with them.

Sir! It's just the two of you at home.

You should converse with her more.

She seems to enjoy talking.

She loves to talk, and she's interesting.

But you won't talk to her.

When we asked him to think from her point of view,

he felt guilty and was heartbroken.

I think it's possible that things will improve.

Lastly, please tell him what you want from him.

Mom won't change.

She gets too upset when he doesn't eat.

It's too hard on our mom.

I hope he finds another way to relieve stress.

Sanghoon, is it a concern or not?

I think he'll find another way to vent.

I don't think it's a concern.

I don't think it's a concern, either.

I hope he finds his true love soon.

Then he'll be able to take

better care of his mom.

I don't think it's a concern, either.

I think they'll be able to talk it out.

Please press the button if you can relate to her.

(What does the audience think?)

5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

Time's up.

A word for your sister, please.

I hope this doesn't become a lie.

I'll try my best to change.

Please say a word to your mother.

Mom!

I'll try to gain weight!

(I'll cook you lots of food)

Please give her a kiss.

No. You should kiss her.

This is what we always do.

She always kisses me when I come home.

- Hold her hand. / - You kiss her from now on.

You've only ever received things from her.

What is it, ma'am?

But I...

She's quite talkative.

He's still single, so we still live together.

He's always been full of love since he was a boy.

Why are you looking at me when you speak?

(I've found my future daughter-in-law)

She has great sense.

Please show us the result.

(Announcing the result)

(The number ends with a 4!)

I don't want to hear my mother nag.

(They got 54 votes)

1721 Paras Kumar, CAD data extraction for CFD simulation - Duration: 7:07.

Hello Viewers !! I'am Paras Kumar and in this video, I'll try

to summarize my project which I did during the Summer (of HPC).

So let's get started.

And, here's my project titled "CAD Data Extraction for CFD Simulations" Now before we dive into

the details of the project, it's important to analyze these two terms: "CAD" and "CFD"

CAD or Computer Aided Design is the technical discipline involving application of computers

or the so called "Super Computers" to the design of products ranging from your cell

phone to the wings of an aircraft.

This is much more viable not only economically but also in terms of time and effort when

compared to the traditional approach of testing with physical prototypes.

The numerical technique used for solving problems involving solid materials(like metals, plastics),

such as the one shown above is called the Finite Element Method (FEM).

Another category of problems is the one which involves flow of fluids such as air, water

or even blood for that matter, around some solid object such as an airplane, a ship or

our blood vessels.

Now that we know what CAD and CFD mean let's try to understand how they are connected to

each other.

The CAD model, hereafter referred to as "CAD Data " or simply "CAD", contains the geometric

details (amongst others) of the product and is created using a CAD modeling software such

as SOLIDWORKS or OpenCASCADE.

The CAD data serves as the starting point for various computer based design validation

techniques or the so called simulation techniques including FEA and CFD.

This self-explanatory diagram describes the different steps involved in a CFD analysis.

As described in this diagram, CAD model (geometry) is fed as input to the pre-processor (another

software) which transforms the problem into an equation system which is then solved to

get the results.

This seems to be a perfect process chain but, there's a problem.

CAD data as supplied by the designer, almost invariably contains small details unnecessary

for simulation.

These include: Small parts such as nuts, bolts, screws and Intricate feature details like

Holes, Fillets, Chamfers Using this data directly for numerical simulation

could lead to much complex or even incorrect numerical model.

This made me think : "CAD is BAD" Ok, so I am a "good" guy and I decided to

fix this "BAD" CAD.

Geometry cleanup or defeaturing refers to the removal of these unwanted intricate details

and is one of the trickiest sub tasks in the process-chain.

If handled manually, this could be quite cumbersome and time consuming.

Thus, I tried to develop a utility based on the programming language Python to automate

the defeaturing process.

For dealing with geometry, PythonOCC i.e., a Python based implementation of the OpenCASCADE

library is employed.

And thus we have the modified CAD-CFD process chain.

The utility in its present state provides the user with the following functionalities

: removal of small parts with volume below a

specified threshold removal of holes with radii less than a specified

value removal of Fillets (Edge fillets only) with

radii less than a specified value Out of these, fillets are the most complicated

ones to deal with, so let's check them out first

Fillet is a rounding of the sharp edges of a component For the purpose of defeaturing,

a classification based on the rounding done at the end of the edge forming the fillet

has been employed.

The classes currently handled by the utility include: Isolated Edge Fillet - IEF

Single Connected Edge Fillet - SCEF Double connected Edge Fillet - DCEF

As a demonstration of how defeaturing is done within the utility, we consider the example

of a box containing four Isolated Edge Fillets.

The defeaturing process begins by identification of the fillet face and the neighboring faces.

The next step is the determination of the "Axial line" by the intersection of the two

Axial Faces.

Next, the corner points are determined by the intersection of the axial line with the

two Radial faces.

These corner points form the Corner Edge which should be there in the defeatured model.

Next, the extended faces are created using the Corner edge and the neighboring edges

and finally the shell obtained from the extended faces is to create the defeatured solid.

The algorithm has been designed such that it can be applied iteratively to other fillets

present in the model.

And thus we have the model without fillets.

Now that we have seen how fillets are defeatured, let's have a look at the defeaturing of a

model containing other target features in addition to fillets.

As example we consider the model of a Wind Barrier which is used to alter the flow pattern

to reduce the crosswind forces acting on the vehicles going on a highway.

And now let the show begin !! Thus, we have the defeatured model of the

Wind Barrier, ready for CFD analysis.

Hope, you enjoyed the video Good Bye !!

Liverpool launch monster £66.6m bid for Thomas Lemar: Talks expected today - report - Duration: 2:18.

Liverpool launch monster £66.6m bid for Thomas Lemar: Talks expected today - report

6m (€72m) offer with £7. 4m (€8m) in potential add-ons has been slapped on the table.

According to L'Equipe, Liverpool face a race against time to conclude a deal for Lemar. The window slams shut on Thursday and Lemar is due at Clairefontaine this afternoon to link up with the France squad.

So Anfield chiefs are expected to follow up their bid by holding talks with Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev this morning. Lemar is under contract with the Ligue 1 champions until 2020.

He established himself as one of Europes hottest talents last season, providing 14 goals and 17 assists in 55 appearances.

The Telegraph earlier reported that Liverpool had submitted an enquiry for his services. And LEquipe claim Lemar is eager to move to the Premier League.  Arsenal were desperate to snap up Lemar this summer but had three bids rejected.

Arsene Wenger admitted defeat last week. He said: "It's dead because Monaco have closed the door definitely. They are still on cases like Mbappe and Fabinho.

They've already lost Mendy, Bernardo Silva and Bakayoko, so Monaco is at a stage where they have closed the door. Lemar has also been linked with a move to Manchester United.

A Mindfulness Exercise for Depression and Anxiety - Duration: 2:21.

Hi. My name is Veronica Lombo.

And I'd like to share with you a mindfulness exercise

that I practice every single day.

Being mindful is all about being aware of your thoughts,

of your actions,

of the relationships you have the people around you

and of what you're feeling.

I'm truly thankful for my depression and my anxiety

because it's allowed me to really dig deep

and figure out what's going on in my heart,

what's going on in my body

when I feel certain emotions.

And what's going on in my mind.

It's really easy to become resentful

of what we have

when we're in a really stressful situation.

When I'm at the doctor's office,

I feel resentful for having to be at the doctor's office.

The converse of that thought is

I'm grateful for being able to see a doctor

for my depression.

I''m grateful that I'm aware enough

and brave enough to go to the doctor

and ask for help.

I'm grateful that I have insurance.

I'm grateful that I have the opportunity to see someone.

Try this with me.

Close your eyes

and answer these questions in your mind.

What are you grateful for?

What are you grateful for?

What are you grateful for?

Who or what have you taken for granted?

What are you grateful for?

When you're ready, slowly open your eyes.

Try creating a gratitude list in a notebook

or on your phone

and watch it change your mindset

and change your life.

HOW TO MAKE PASSIVE INCOME - PASSIVE INCOME ONLINE FOR BEGINNERS - Duration: 6:50.

Imagine a life where you don't have to go to work.

You wake up in the morning and you have the whole day in front of you,

to learn new things, visit places, or lay in bed all day – all that while getting

paid and not having to worry about money.

Sounds ...too good to be true, right?

I mean If it's possible then no one would spend 8 hours at a job they usually hate.

But, most of the people do exactly that.

And it's because they don't believe that passive income is possible, or even if they do they

have no idea what passive income is and isn't.

Let me address what my interpretation of passive income is, and that's not the traditional/banking

definition of passive income – what I mean is that your income is earned through a passive

activity, meaning continuing to generate revenue long after the initial setup.

And if you think that passive income can be achieved without setting up a profitable system

in the beginning or that it's easy money and you won't have work hard, well then, I guess

this video is not for you. Aaand you can probably leave.

Passive income cannot be achieved overnight or even in a week, it is a long process of

delayed gratification, patience and working hard AND smart, but once it is set up correctly,

it can literally change your life forever, you'll be free to spend your days however

you like, and do what makes you happy.

Let me tell you a story about Bryan and Adam, a story about two video makers and how their

thinking and patience can be the only difference between working your whole life and a life

of freedom.

Bryan and Adam were two college friends, studying video production and editing.

They both loved making videos and soon enough they became close friends.

After a few years, they both graduated and Bryan started working for a video production

company where he created animated videos.

The company paid a hundred dollars for a single video.

And because Bryan was really good at this job he was able to produce new videos daily,

and got paid 100$ after each day of work.

Adam on the other hand was also invited, but decided not to work for the same company,

because while in college he watched some small YouTube channel talk about passive income

and decided to risk one year and give the idea a shot.

On the first day Bryan created a video and got paid 100$, Adam also made one video, but

instead of giving it to the company he uploaded it online.

The night before going to bed, he looked it up, and was surprised when he got paid 1$

from advertisements shown on the video.

The next day Bryan created another video, and got another 100$ bill, while Adam earned 1$

dollar from his new video, and 1$ from the video he posted the day before.

He was disappointed when he realized that his videos are worth a dollar a day, while

Bryan's videos 100$ a day.

Nonetheless he kept making videos.

What he didn't saw is that after a year, Bryan will have only 1 video that is worth 100$,

the current video he is making for the company, but Adam now has 365 videos each earning him

a dollar a day.

The difference... is in the ownership of the videos.

At the end Bryan will be left with nothing, if he stopped working, he will get 0$ the

next day, because he traded his time for money.

On the other had Adam has ownership of the videos, each one working for him, bringing

him a dollar a day – and if he stopped working he would still get money, because he OWNS

the videos.

If you do the math, after a year Bryan will have made 365 videos each worth 100$ which

equals 36,500 dollars after a year.

Adam on the other hand will have 1 dollar on the first day, 2 dollars on the second,

3 on the third and so on, on the 365th day he will earn 365 dollars each one of his videos

will make him a dollar that day, so if we sum it up and do the math, after a year

Adam will have 66,795 dollars.

Heck even if the videos only got him 50 cents a day, that's 33,397 dollars, roughly the

same as Bryan but now he wouldn't have to work a second if he wanted and he would still

get money.

The best part about passive income is scaling.

Let's look at Adams scaling options.

At this point he owns 365 videos each paying him let's say 50 cents so that's roughly 182

dollars a day.

Adam can use those money to hire someone like Bryan and give him 100$ per video.

So, he would take a hundred from his earnings and invest them in his system so he could

make even more videos without touching a single thing, giving him even more passive income

with the option to hire more Bryan's.

In the free time Adam can improve his knowledge about videos, sharpen his talents, find his

passions, be happy and generally do what he wants.

And that is the underlaying message I want to get across.

It's not about telling you to start a YouTube channel, to make affiliate sales, or that

you can sell your music online.

It's about understanding the power of passive income and that it really is possible, but

also to understand that passive income is not for everyone.

You have to work very hard at the beginning, setting up the system, being patient, seeing

what's working and what's not, and sometimes you would even have to work for free as opposed

to selling your videos for 100$ every time you make them.

And even after you set up your system, passive income still needs some kind of maintenance

effort.

But without a doubt passive income is one of the best incomes you can have, because

you can set up indefinite number of income streams and there is no limit of how much

money you can make.

In the next video I will share more types of passive income, but for this kind of passive

income where you create something, like mobile application, music, photos, videos, books,

courses the key point is that YOU are the owner of the finished product, because that

will enable you to get paid for the rest of your life.

For example, if you write an e-book – you are the owner of the book and for every download,

guess what, you get paid.

The difference between writing a book about meditation and writing articles about meditation

for a company, is that at the end of the day – you are the owner of the book and the

company is the owner of your articles.

And yes, it's easier to work for a company, finish 8 hours of work go home and get paid

than to write a book, design the cover, upload it on different sites, market and sell the book.

But hey, no one said that creating passive income would be easy in the first place.

Now that you know what passive income is and that you can use it to create your perfect

life, in the next video I will share some of my favorite ideas on how to set up you

own passive income stream.

It's a list of ideas, some of which I used in the past and some of which I currently

use, so hit that like button, subscribe if you haven't already and I'll see you in the

next video.

President Trump's company was working on a plan to develop a Trump Tower in Moscow toward

the end of 2015 and into 2016, as he was running for president, according to a report Sunday

night.

A Russian-born real estate developer told Trump to visit Moscow to discuss the proposal,

according to the Washington Post.

The developer, Felix Sater, said he would be able to get Russian President Vladimir

Putin to say "great things" about Trump.

In a November 2015 email, Sater said that he and top officials at the Trump Organization

would be celebrating the real estate deal in Moscow and Trump's election as president,

two people with knowledge of the email exchange told the Post.

One person with knowledge of the exchange said Sater sent an email to Michael Cohen,

executive vice president of the Trump Organization, saying "something to the effect of, 'Can

you believe two guys from Brooklyn are going to elect a president?'"

Sater grew up in Brooklyn after emigrating from the then-Soviet Union when he was 6 years

old.

Despite Sater's urging, Trump never visited Moscow and the project to build a Trump Tower

in Russia was abandoned at the end of January 2016.

The Trump-owned company signed a letter of intent, but didn't have the land and permits

needed to proceed, the Washington Post reported.

The information detailed in the emails between Sater and Trump Organization leaders are expected

to be handed over to congressional investigators, who are looking into potential ties between

Trump campaign associates and Russia.

The White House declined to comment to the Washington Post.

Cohen's lawyer, Stephen Ryan, said his client "has been cooperating and will continue to

cooperate with both the House and Senate intelligence committees, including providing them with

documents and information and answering any questions they may have about the Moscow building

proposal."

According to the report, the proposal, the details of which haven't been disclosed before,

provide evidence that Trump's business was pursuing commercial deals in Russia while

he was campaigning for president.

Talks about the project in Moscow began in September 2015, and the deal would've involved

an unidentified investor building the tower and putting Trump's name on it under a licensing

agreement.

Cohen, a longtime legal adviser to Trump, served as the lead negotiator

for the Trump Organization.

Jamie Carragher slams Arsenal for bottling Arsene Wenger decision this summer

The Gunners were hammered 4-0 by Liverpool yesterday in the Premier League and the pundit thinks they made the wrong decision in giving the Frenchman a new deal.

Goals from Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge sealed an emphatic win for the Reds. And Carragher could not believe how bad the Arsenal performance was at Anfield.

He told Sky Sports: "It's the last 10 years, and you will see the same performances for the next 10 years because there is a lack of ruthlessness from the top to the bottom.

"If we are being honest, the board bottled the decision in the summer and were terrified of moving the manager on. "There had to be a change. Then the summer comes and it's things may be different.

"But what we saw today was worse. I called them cowards last season and got a bit of criticism but I'll say it again: cowards." Liverpool sit second in the table following the result, two points behind rivals Manchester United.

The Reds return to action after the international break against Manchester City at the Etihad. Arsenal will look to get back to winning ways against Bournemouth at the Emirates on Saturday, September 9.

Amber Davies' sister Jade shows support for the Love Island winner after she makes her TV presenting debut with Kem Cetinay's

The couple appeared on Good Morning Britain on Monday 28 August as they presented the show for the first time together.

And just days after their row at Kem Cetinay's fashion launch, Jade has revealed how proud she is of her younger sister. The brunette beauty posted a clip of the Love Island winners and captioned it with a sweet message.

She wrote: Sooooo proud of you both @kemcetinay and @amb_d, as she drew hearts around the text.

Jade also tweeted about how well Amber had done, following her stint on the hit ITV2 show. The theatre star tweeted: Watching my girl @Amber_Davies7 and @KemCetinay smash their first presenting gig on @GMB #soproud #smashingit.

           .

Kem, who is about to launch his own spin-off series with pal and Love Island co-star Chris Hughes, confessed he was "nervous".

But the couple admitted they were not going to let the nerves get to them as they began hosting the showbiz gossip – before being compared to Richard and Judy.

As Richard and Ranvir supported the pair and said they did a great job, Kem revealed how some viewers were not so keen. Kem added that the pair had seen some tweets stating "they didn't know what they were doing".

Addressing the tweets, Kem said: "Both of us have been getting a little bit of stick, but we're giving it a go. Give us a break guys. Just people saying we don't know what we're doing.".
