Lallana reported for England duty four days early on Thursday, as he bids to secure a place in Gareth Southgates World Cup squad having been initially named on the standby list.

The 30-year-old made only 15 appearances for Liverpool last season, but a 60-minute outing in the Champions League final has boosted his chances, Southgate told reporters on Friday:.

Adam has only trained with us the last couple days.

We had several long conversations during the season.

It was obviously a hugely frustrating season for him.

We know the quality he has.

The last conversation I had with him, ahead of naming the squad, was 'let's keep this alive for you.

We know there are limitations in terms of how match-fit he is, that's why he's been a standby player, to give him time to improve that situation.

Southgate has few options in terms of creative midfielders, but Lallanas lack of game time certainly makes him an outside bet.

Roma goalkeeper Alisson has risen to the top of many Liverpool supporters list of transfer priorities in the wake of Loris Karius dismal display in the Champions League final.

With calls to replace Karius with a top-level goalkeeper growing, speculation over the Brazilians future in Rome has mounted.

According to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, Roma are already weighing up moves for a replacement, with Bayer Leverkusens Bernd Leno and Paris Saint-Germains Alphonse Areola being considered.

Meanwhile, Alissons agent has quashed speculation that a deal had already been agreed with Real Madrid, as purported by Cafu on Thursday.

The claim that he already has an agreement with Real Madrid is completely false.

I do not see how Cafu can know more than I know, Ze Maria Neis told Forza Roma.

On the subject of a possible contract renewal at Stadio Olimpico he added: I have not talked to Monchi or anyone else yet.

Pulisic Tipped For Summer Anfield Switch.

Thanks To Trump, Republican Voters No Longer Think MORALS Are Important For Presidents - Duration: 4:03.

According to the latest round of Gallup polling, a majority of Americans across the political

spectrum believe that moral leadership is important for the President of the United

States.

But here's the kicker here.

Just a few years ago, the number of Republicans who thought that moral leadership was an important

quality for the President of the United States, it was at 86%.

86% of Republican voters thought that presidents should have a strong moral compass.

That they should be moral leaders for the entire country.

Today, thanks to Donald Trump, that number has fallen down to 63%.

We're talking about a 23% drop in Republicans who apparently now think, "Look, moral schmorals.

A president doesn't need those, you know?

That's just something that Liberals care about."

Liberals, by the way, also believe that morals are very strong for the president.

Their numbers are actually up from what they were about 20 years ago, because 20 years

ago when Bill Clinton was going through impeachment, those numbers were actually flipped.

So, there's a very clear pattern happening here.

When your party's President seems to be in trouble, or at risk of impeachment, you suddenly

seem to not care about morals as much as the other party.

Meanwhile, the other party cares about them a hell of a lot more, and that's what's happening

today.

Donald Trump's complete lack of morals, or ethics, or any kind of sense of right or wrong

has made Republican voters believe that we don't need those qualities in a president,

much like with Bill Clinton in the 90s.

Democrats thought that those values were not important either, but Republicans did.

Morals, ethics, those don't rise and fall with the politics of the day.

It's not right for Republicans to do it now, just like it wasn't right for Democrats to

do it back then.

You either have morals and ethics, or you don't.

I think right now, what we're seeing is a lot of people in this country, whether Democrat,

or Republican, or Independent, seem to not really care about morals as long as it takes

down the other side.

We are a country that is so bitter, and partisan, and divided, that we're willing to throw away

our own values and beliefs if we think that it's going to hurt the other side, or help

our side.

This is where we've come as a country, folks.

This isn't good.

This poll isn't good news.

The previous polls from the 90s weren't good news.

It just shows that Americans are willing to close up their moral compass, put it in a

drawer, whenever it benefits them, or whenever their morals seem to not benefit them.

I think a lot of people in this country have lost their way.

Left, right, center, whatever you want to call yourselves.

We all have to get back on the same page and understand that treating other people like

human beings, being respectful, being a decent person, not just being a decent person but

being a decent person to everybody that you encounter.

Those are important.

And Donald Trump right now is helping to make people think that you don't need those things

to be successful, and you know what?

Maybe you don't.

But success, money, power, those are meaningless.

You don't get to take those things with you when you die.

But you can, at least, go to your grave knowing, "You know what?

I was a good person.

A lot of people are going to miss me, and nobody's going to say, 'Thank god that guy

is finally gone."

But that's what's going to happen with a lot of these people that are in power today.

I don't think they're going to have too many mourners at their funerals.

Again, because they lived their lives with no morals, no ethics, no sense of right and

wrong.

They only did whatever they had to do, screwed over whoever they had to, in order to get

more money and more power.

Dembele is on Klopp's radar this summer with his future in the Barcelona team in doubt.

The Spanish giants snapped up the French winger last summer from Borussia Dortmund for a fee which could rise to a whopping £135.5m.

But he could find himself out of the team at the Nou Camp next year with France team-mate Antoine Griezmann set to arrive from Atletico Madrid.

And Klopp is ready to swoop and hand Dembele the chance to break into his Liverpool team.

"Liverpool transfer news: Jurgen Klopp wants Ousmane Dembele on board this summer" Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo say the Kop coach has told the winger he wants to sign him.

They say it's because Klopp wants to add some width to his attack, with current attacking trio Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah all playing centrally.

The arrival of Dembele would provide the Liverpool coach with the option of changing his tactics and come at rival teams with a different dimension, Mundo say.

Barcelona are said to want to tie down a deal for Griezmann before deciding on what to do with Dembele.

Griezmann would likely become a first-choice starter alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in Ernesto Valverde's side.

People know me as the crazy girl who

loves to sing and loves to have a good time

so that's what I do.

So today, we are styling Jordan.

He's 18 years old.

He's from New York, and he loves musical theater.

And he has a really cool fashion sense.

He'd like some style, bold colors, bright patterns,

all of those things.

So I'm a drag queen, and I'm living my life

so authentically that I literally am like,

"Okay, I'm gonna be a woman most of the times at night."

So I just wanna try to share some light

and some love with a teen who is coming out,

and they're finding their way in the world,

and just kind of be a guiding footstep.

and that you look your best and that you feel your best.

Oh, my gosh, to be 18 years old again and have great skin.

So, Jordan, have you ever worn makeup before?

- I have worn makeup before.

- Once I was at my friend's house,

and they really wanted to put me in a full face of makeup.

And I was like, "Go for it."

I came out in seventh grade.

I came out as bisexual.

I was still really afraid of what people would think.

Two years ago, I came out as gay

because I was like, "I think it's finally time

"that I be true to myself and have everyone else know

"my full story."

- So how I got into drag was I would find myself

going to the Sephora, and I would go pick up some makeup.

And my friends were like, "You know, I've seen that

"you were doing makeup.

"You should try to do a Kris Jenner impersonation."

And out of nowhere, I kind of just started to do drag.

If you just like playing around with makeup,

and like, Jordan, if you're ever like,

"I'm bored on a Saturday night."

Put on some makeup and try new things.

That's the most fun part about makeup.

It's like never wrong.

It's just finding what's right for you.

This whole look is gonna be fantastic when it's done.

I can see it now.

What's the thing that you're

looking forward to most about prom?

- I'm looking forward to just having a really nice time

and just getting to dance with all my friends

and celebrate the school year being over.

The year of superheroes.

European students see Ernesto Che Guevara

who was killed just a few months ago, as their hero.

General Vo Nguyen Giap

leader of the suicidal offensive against the American army in January

is a hero for many Vietnamese.

Black Americans have their own heroes - civil rights advocate Martin Luther King

and a boxer whose name used to be Cassius Clay.

He was 18 years old when he won an Olympic gold medal in boxing.

At 19, he dumped it into a river.

He was angry that he had been denied entry into a restaurant

due to the color of his skin.

At 22, he became the world heavyweight champion

and the title drastically changed his life.

The boxer joined the Nation of Islam - an organization fighting for the civil rights,

converted to Islam and changed his name.

Now his name is Muhammad Ali.

He's a World Champion in boxing and…

…a criminal.

On April 28th, 1967 Ali was summoned to court

for refusing to join the army due to his religious beliefs.

He was stripped of all his titles and his boxing license

and sentenced to five years in prison.

Politicians and the media are not happy with him.

Because the urban youth see him as a role model.

More and more people don't want to fight in Vietnam.

Muhammad Ali is one of the most popular athletes of that time.

And he's still not in prison.

While his lawyers are filing appeals,

the year 1968 finds the boxer still free.

He's 26 years old, he's not allowed to do what he loves

and he wants to start over.

He looks up to Elijah Muhammad - the leader of the Nation of Islam.

Ali lives with his second wife, Belinda, who's expecting a child.

And he needs money.

Now that boxing has been taken away from him,

Ali decides to dedicate himself to social work

and give talks all over the country.

Ali gets up early and learns how to compose speeches.

Ali has practice every day.

He believes that his speeches will be a knockout for the American public.

Ali's first talks are met with a mixed response:

unlike other activists, he speaks out against mixed marriages -

meaning, in favor of racial segregation.

We are not seeking to lose our identity in blood mixing

and our beautiful black African history.

We don't hate you!

We don't hate those of you who are white!

Despite the controversy, his speeches always attract a large audience.

And bring in a sizeable income.

But it looks like the talks aren't enough to save him from prison

or to get him back into the ring.

In April 1968, Esquire wants to have Ali on the front cover

and suggests an unusual theme.

The cover becomes a sensation.

And captures, better than any words can

what is happening to the former world champion.

On May 6, Ali's case is heard at the appellate court.

The boxer waits on the verdict.

At the end of summer Ali will have to go to jail.

Unless a miracle happens, and the U.S. Supreme Court takes his side

Ali can 't let himself give up.

On June 18th, Belinda gives birth to their daughter - Maryum.

Promoters are hastily trying to arrange a new boxing match for Ali,

— but with no luck.

To make some money, the boxer allows a fast food chain Champburger to use his name

in exchange for 900 thousand dollars and a share of the company stock.

His public speeches become increasingly more radical.

He often thinks about his imprisonment.

In late summer, the Supreme Court refuses to reconsider Ali's case.

But on August 30th he hears surprising news.

An investigation into Martin Luther King's assassination shows that

the FBI illegally wiretapped King's conversations on the phone.

Including the ones with Ali.

The Supreme Court doesn't like that.

Ali's case is returned for further investigation

and the boxer remains free.

Ali's new speeches now enjoy even more success.

In his speeches, he ridicules racism.

The Black Man has been brainwashed,

and it's time for him to learn some about himself.

Then he goes to the drugstore, he orders two dip ice cream.

He says: "I want a dip of chocolate, a dip of vanilla".

And every time they put the chocolate on the bottom,

and the vanilla on the top!

Ali isn't the only athlete interested in politics.

For the first time ever black tennis player Arthur Ashe wins the US Open

thanks to his brother, who's serving in Vietnam instead of him.

Czech gymnast Věra Čáslavská signs a manifesto

against the Soviet invasion in Czechoslovakia

and goes into hiding in the mountains, fearing arrest.

Sprinters Tommie Smith, John Carlos and Australian Peter Norman

speak out against racism at the Mexico Olympics.

In late 1968, Ali will end up in prison after all.

He'll spend 10 days behind bars for a traffic violation.

In 1970, the boxer will be allowed back to the boxing ring.

In 1971, all accusations against him will be lifted.

In 1974, he'll become World Champion again.

And 37 years later, President Bush will award him with

the highest national honor — the Medal of Freedom

and will say that the American people are proud to call Muhammad Ali one of our own.

The ITV2 stars must be on their best behaviour during their time in the surveillance villa. Its the ultimate reality show of the summer.

Yet, while the antics of Love Island 2018 are destined to raise eyebrows, the contestants will need to comply with increasingly strict rules, this year.

According to TV insiders and former cast-members, producers have expanded their previous code of conduct and re-asserted it with renewed vigour.

Specifically, in light of the #MeToo climate, contestants are restricted form a number of potentially-controversial actions, including: masturbating, appearing naked - even while bathing - and engaging in sexual activity while drunk.

Housemates will also be forced to read a complete anthology of the new rules, which must be kept in their possession at all times.

The sensitivity to such behaviour comes just weeks after it was revealed that TV bosses have restricted the amount of smoking thats permitted on the show.

As The Mirror detailed, last month, ITV executives made the call after receiving a flood of complaints from viewers who alleged it glamorised the habit.

Now, from June 4, contestants will be unable to light-up in both the living quarters and the garden. However, theyll still be allowed to smoke outdoors in a special hut - once theyve sought permission from a producer.

But, as former contestant Simon Searles revealed, last year, there are still plenty of things they cannot do.

Speaking to The Sun , he said: "They give you a bit of a handbook before and it's in regards to consent, nakedness, condoms, what's right and what's not.

"You never really get a lot of drink but they do say if someone's had too much to drink do not have sex with them. "It's just obvious social stuff. Even though it's a bedroom it's a public bedroom.

"Everyone is just uptight. The Top Rules- No smoking inside the house, pool and garden. - No nudity in front of fellow contestants (even in the shower).

- No drunken sex. - No unsafe sex (condoms must be worn).

- Contestants who have sex must see a therapist afterwards (who can provide emergency contraception). - Each star must be in possession of the complete rule book (and refer to it where necessary).

Britains Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, 47, has posed for a stunning underwater shoot to highlight the plight of captive orcas at Seaworld.

The mother-of-two wore a gold dress with a mermaid tail in one of the shots for the campaign with the animal rights charity PETA.

As part of the campaign, the TV star is urging fans to boycott attractions such as the US theme park SeaWorld and other marine parks that keep dolphins and other animals captive.

She said: There have been no whales or dolphins held captive in the UK since the nineteen nineties, but there are still countless attractions abroad where animals will die in misery as long as we the public continue to support.

In the oceans, where they belong, orcas would naturally swim up to about hundred miles a day.

In a marine park like Sea World they swim in the equivalent of a bath tub in endless circles round and round monotonously all day. They are denied everything that is natural and important to them..

They are held in tiny concrete tanks, filled with chemically treated water. They gnaw on the metal bars of their enclosures until their teeth break, and are given anti-anxiety drugs to manage stress-induced behaviour.

We know that orcas are complex, very intelligent, self-aware creatures. These are animals with their own cultures and their own language.

The more we understand about the capabilities of these wonderful whales, the more we can understand just how disgusting their captivity and confinement is.

PETA is also calling on businesses such as travel operator Thomas Cook to join the public in boycotting the marine park, especially in light of its recently failed animal-welfare audit.

Amanda joins a long list of celebrities who have teamed up with PETA to highlight the plight of captive marine mammals, including Sharon Osbourne, Paul OGrady, and the late Sir Roger Moore.

She also previously stripped off for photographs without airbrushing to encourage people to embrace a vegetarian diet.
