Hi. My name is Dr. Ann Callahan. I bet you are wondering WHO IS Dr. Callahan? I

teach social work at Eastern Kentucky University. This presentation is intended

to help you learn more about my experience, evaluate my teaching style,

and determine if you need to contact me. I am the first person in my family to

get a bachelor's degree. This instilled in me a value of student

mentorship. I also have a love for lifelong learning. Toward this end, I have

worked to achieve excellence in social work education, service, and research.

Here's a picture of me early in my career using technology. You can see that

I took my laptop and projected class slides on a dry erase board to share

course content. I wanted my students to have the best learning experience

possible given our technology at the time. Since then, I've taught a range of

social work courses. These are undergraduate courses I have taught some

of which I developed. In every course, I use technology to enhance student

learning. Bolded courses were either hybrid or online. One thing that has been

important to me is to evaluate the quality of my courses. I subjected one of

my online courses to an evaluation that resulted in several presentations and

publications in case you want to learn more. I teach with retention in mind and

make sure information is accessible. I provide clear course expectations and

resources. I coordinate with others in Eastern Kentucky University to support

student success. Service is another important part of my effort to achieve

excellence in social work education. One of my favorite experiences was with

Remote Area Medical. I helped coordinate volunteers to support the delivery of

free veterinary care. Each colored line in this spreadsheet represents the

number of volunteers I coordinated one year. I used this opportunity to help

social work students gain experience in Veterinary Social Work. These experiences

inspired several publications in case you want to learn more. I was an early

adopter of technology in traditional face-to-face social work courses. I

turned many of my courses into web enhanced

hybrid courses. This valuable experience has continued to inform my online

courses. I also seek excellence in social work research. I study impactful

practices in online education to improve my own courses. My primary

research is based on my experience in working with older adults. This work has

resulted in numerous publications and presentations. More specifically, I'm

interested in clarifying what defines spiritually sensitive social work and

how social workers can support relationships that enhance life meaning

called relational spirituality. Some of this work inspired my first book called

spirituality and hospice Social Work published by Columbia University Press.

So WHO IS DR. CALLAHAN? I hope this presentation helps you see that I strive

to be a well-rounded social worker. In the process, I work to achieve excellence

as a committed teacher, leader, and researcher...who is committed to YOUR

success at Eastern Kentucky University.

When Exactly is Odyssey Taking Place? - Assassin's Creed Odyssey News - Duration: 12:01.

All right, so

after this is pretty much two hours after I've recorded the first video on odyssey that I made and

I looked into it. I wanted to figure out the timeline and

Most people are even saying that this game will be after origins. I'm still sticking by that statement, but I've recorded

I didn't like the points that I was making and obviously I kept changing up the points as I went through the video once again

The actual Assassin's if you will and that's where it kind of gets confusing if you don't know anything about Silas treated

But that completely makes sense and because of that it makes complete sense that this is a prequel to origins

before the the Brotherhood was even made but is it it is a sequel in modern day 2 origins because of what

The modern-day character was doing in origins

now I've said the reason why it would not be before origins is because that's when the Brotherhood is it is

established and it would just be weird - then go before that even more so when you've basically just had a softer reboot of the

Franchise it just doesn't make sense. So then

Why would this people fuller watch said?

Now why would this be before how could it be before?

Well, if you look at the people with the one getting a kick to write the one

The logo for this upcoming game. The logo is a Spartan a Spartan warrior. It's a sort and symbol now

I just thought they picked that because of Greece from Sparta obviously

I knew it was from Sparta but I didn't think they were actually gonna make a big deal out of this and obviously this is

this is not completely true and

I'm just giving you guys theories out there to pick which one you believe the most this article is very good in getting

Solid information about why this would be before origins instead of after they're saying that the Spartan warrior

logo the symbol now, obviously, we know what like when you think of Greece you think of

beautiful

Ancient Greece like that's pretty much what comes to mind? Obviously there was another time period when it was a complete warfare when it was

Sparta versus athens when it was based off of that now I really doubt that assassin's creed

Hint isn't the name. They would be set in a peaceful time period i'm pretty sure that it's going to be

Sparta versus app and that's what a lot of people are saying. I forgot

I watched one one video and they were pretty much guaranteeing that this game was set in the

Peloponnesian wars not believe that's how you say I probably butchered it cuz I actually forgot the name of the wars but um

I'm gonna say take it with a grain of salt because I do not know and

I'm just throwing stuff out there. Now the reason that this could be set in

ancient period before even origins is well one based off of

obviously, it looks like an assassin to treat Louisville based off the a in the background and the Spartacus symbol in the front in the

Middle of the middle of the logo, but they're saying that when it could be based off of those Wars

That's before origins. Obviously those wars were set

But also the article states that the egg kind of looks like I hit him blade now, obviously

they could be kind of going digging a little bit deep, but they're saying that how

Origins was kind of the focus of how the Brotherhood was created

how ego vision was made this article goes on to say that this is how the hidden blade could be made and how

it could be used now when I saw this I was like this is kind of

Digging a little bit too deep into something but then they connect it to origins the way they say in

Assassin's Creed origins AIA gives bike a hidden blade

But it still might not be true. I don't know which one I believe

There was also rumors that this could be a game where you could pick between a male or female assassin. I'm striking that out

I don't think that could happen. Basically everything I said in my previous video could be

completely false based off of this one article

But keep in mind this is based off of one article and where more information comes out

Obviously, I'll be letting you guys know but that is the gist of this article

This could be very interesting now just to touch on if this is true

So now if this is true that this is set before origins, they could be this trilogy

I haven't mentioned this if you look at Assassin's Creed games, they're very

Similar and what I mean by that is they have they have a pattern that pattern is besides Assassin's Creed one you look at two

Brotherhood and

Revelations they all have a similar engine then you take a break and you go two three

four and rogue

they all have a similar engine and then you have unity and syndicate which have a similar engine and now we're going into origins and

I've said before that this was leaked a long time ago that ancient Greece would be the next

Play area for us to go into and I'm saying this now next year

It will be

Ancient Rome that will be a fact

I don't doubt that one bit after the fact that they've announced that this is ancient Greece. Japan was leaked

Japan was actually getting pretty big in terms of the rumors and

I said it if it is Japan that's gonna be extremely surprising

I've always I've always thought it was gonna be ancient Greece. It is ancient Greece next year I'm saying it's ancient Rome if

And that is if this game goes well and according to their plans

I'm pretty sure next year will be ancient Rome and

They're gonna have a very similar play style in the engine and if they go with that

It could be a trilogy of trying to figner have this Assam decreed and how the Brotherhood was formed

Based off the fact that the Brotherhood was originally formed in

Origins then you try to figure out when the hidden blade was formed stuff like that. I mean

This if this is true it can be very interesting

But that's this is just theory the way it's laid out there. Nothing to take completely

Just take it with a pinch of salt

please because two hours after I've recorded the last video this article came out just a little bit ago and

Started saying that it could be after or it could be before origins

So yeah, we don't know what's happening with this name, but it's exciting because we don't know what's happening the game
