HOW TO MAKE YOUTUBE VIDEOS FOR BEGINNERS - Duration: 5:54.
Okay, why don't we just start over.
Yesterday we talked about VEDA and why people are doing Veda or what VEDA is.
But today, I figured we'd keep the momentum going so I wanted to share with you how to
film, so today I'm going to show you how to film your videos.
If you want to vlog or record videos for YouTube, there's a couple of different ways that you
can do it.
If you're going to be making videos or vlogging, you need to learn.
So how did I get started filming?
Ahhhh I taught myself, I watched a couple YouTube videos.
I figured it out and now I'm not going to say my pro, but I'm way better than when I
started.
I'm going to show you how I've found my YouTube videos.
There's two different ways that you can film your videos.
The first way is to film continuously.
Just can film your whole section or all of your sections at one time and if you mess
up, here's a little tip or in between sections.
You want to clap three times and I'm going to show you why, but it helps with the spikes
when you go back to edit your videos or if you have a video editor is going to help them.
This is a really good example of if you mess up, I'll select this clip and I'm going to
show you what happens in this video.
I'm going to teach you three ways or actually (clap, clap, clap) in this video, do you see
these claps right here.
You can see the spikes in the sound.
I'll show you again.
Watch.
In this video, I'm going to show you three ways or three ways No (Clap, Clap, Clap).
The reason I do this is because if I was editing, I could easily see these spikes so I would
know to cut this immediately and I would just go in here and I'd cut that out real quick.
That's the first thing I would do is cut out any of those and see what's What's up ease
or actually in this video I'm going so I know that this can be deleted because obviously
I did something wrong.
The second way that you can film your videos is to film in sections as they say the pros
filming sections.
I'm going to show you how I actually filmed the video in different sections and then you
can see how I put it all together and edit it in the final cut.
Why should you blog every day.
I actually have my script, and I didn't read this.
So let me try that again.
The section one - I'm going to share with you three reasons why you would want to vlog
every day.
We just finished section one.
Now I'm going to section two, so the first reason that you're going to want to vlog every
day is of course to get faster and when you get faster, you're more natural because you
learn how to talk to the camera.
Reason number two that you want to Vlog every day is because you want to be more efficient
with your time.
This is section four, but reason number three.
Reason number three that you might want to vlog every day is to grow and to essentially
get feedback.
So now you know why you should be vlogging every day.
The videos are don.
Now, it's time to edit.
It sounded so now you know how I filmed that video and a lot of my videos I mentioned,
there's two different ways you can either film continuously clap if you mess up or in
between sections or you can film in sections.
Hopefully this makes sense.
Hit the like button below and let me know that it does or do you have questions?
Put a comment down.
I do read those.
But, now you know how to actually film your videos, so there's no excuses for not making
amazing videos here on Youtube, so I want to see your videos.
I'm excited to see what you make.
but if you want people to land on your channel, watch your videos and subscribe, hitting that
button, the like button, that subscribe button and sharing your content.
Then you want to make sure that they understand that you're an actual real youtube channel,
and the best way to do that is to go through my youtube channel checklist.
Make sure you have everything set up that it looks like a real channel.
I went through all this when I started.
It was kind of confusing.
I didn't understand like, oh, you should add your social links and here's how to put your
head on here, so I put all of that into an amazing checklist.
Check out the description below.
I'm Brandi of www.BlogginBrandi.com.
Thanks for watching.
I'll see you in the next video tomorrow.

Who's excited for the Craft Beer Expo 2018? - Duration: 16:14.
Hey friends and welcome to Fifth Frame Brewing. My name is Linh Phillips and I do a local food and drink blog called Sir Rocha Says.
This brewery is actually one of the featured breweries at this year's Craft Bev-actually, Craft Beer Expo, May 19th, at the Rochester Lilac Festival.
And we're excited to be here today. So I'm going to let these guys introduce themselves and tell you a little bit more about who they are.
Alright, yes ladies first, my name is Adrienne Schleigh, also known as Roc_Brewnette on Instagram, which basically means I drink alllllot of beer. And talk about it.
I've been to Fifth Frame before, and really enjoyed it, but I'm really excited to try some new offerings.
And then also talk about one of my favorite events of the year, the Craft Beer Expo at the Lilac Festival.
And I'm Jon Mervine, and I'm also know as... Jon Mervine.
I'm the Head Brewer and co-founder of Fifth Frame Brewing here at 155 St. Paul Street.
I'm here to talk about the festival and some new offerings we have and taste some samples today.
Ok so let's talk about the Craft Beer Expo coming up May 19th.
There's two sessions. There's going to be an afternoon session, 1PM – 4PM and then an evening session 5:30PM – 8:30PM. With 20+ some breweries.
Now personally, one of my favorites, Young Lion Brewery, will be there.
They're located on the lake and
they're bringing a sour IPA.
And then Rootstock Ciderworks will also be there, and bringing a belgian hard cider.
They're in Williamson NY, and tend to be a dryer cider, which I personally like.
Those are two that I'm really looking forward to. How about you? What are you looking forward to?
Oh well, I mean, I'm also excited for
some of our local offerings, Young Lion and K2 is coming. I love K2. They're putting out alot of great beer right now.
But I'm also pretty excited about some new offerings to the area. Of course, we know Grimm, not exactly new, but it's sure to bring alot of people.
And Foreign Objects. We don't really get alot of distribution of Foreign Objects, so I'm pretty excited they're going to be there.
Sloop Brewing is on the menu. Looking forward to seeing those boys in Rochester.
You are totally allowed to use your cheat sheet!
We are seriously bridging the gap here, between all the downstate areas. Foreign Objects swinging on up.
Wow this is awesome! Mill House, those guys are coming up. Industrial Arts swinging on up. This is fantastic. Stoneyard Boys.
I should have looked at my notes before hand. Haha.
We're really bridging all of NY, east and west.
I think there's a great mix of our local breweries, like you said, Stoneyard, Roc Brewing, Fifth Frame.
But national names too. If you go that day and are looking to try a variety of beers. This. Is. The. Event.
There are general admission tickets, which are $35. VIP for $50 and then also a designated driver ticket.
I know there's going to be some distilleries there. Black Button. Tommy Rotter. Also, Apple Country Spirits-they make a great brandy.
You don't have to just drinking straight.
I mean I love my spirits, but I have a hard time taking a shot of something like brandy.
So this year, what they're doing is actually different craft cocktails for the festival.
He has flare.
So there's really something for everyone. And the food too! Linh this is up your alley. Yes, so I run a food and drink blog, I love to go out and taste new things. I know Swillburger is going to be doing some kind of lobster roll thing with waffle fries.
Um, Marie's Moroccan Salsa, God's Country Creamery.
You can get your cheese fix. Gotta get your cheese fix.
and then also I think I mentioned Rootstock, but Embark will also be there.
So really looking forward to trying a little bit of everything.
This is going to be that event for everyone, whatever their palette, there's something.
Speaking of whatever your palette is...what's making my palette so happy right now Jon?
This is called blue sky.
This is the least hoppy offering we have right now.
It's a Kentucky common. Basically it's a historical style.
1840s to prohibition time kinda wiped it out.
So this is basically really true to style. 5.1%
it's kind of like a modern day dark and creamy.
yeah
This is fantastic.
Cheers! To Rochester and the Lilac Fest.
So I have to say, I love the music you've got going on in here. And it actually reminds me of when you're at the Lilac Fest, at the Craft Beer Expo,
you get to listen to whatever is going on.
You know they have some great music so it's just great you're not only just drinking these fantastic beers but you're also getting live music.
Their concert lineup is always fantastic. I went to Turkuaz last year. So I'm looking forward to who they have this year..while enjoying my beverage.
Is it going to be weird If I'm just camped out in front of Fifth Frame?
No we're going to set up camping chairs and like a 3 dimensional Princess Leia fireplace. You've seen it here folks, he just promised me. Don't quote me on that.
Jon do you know what kind of beer you're actually bringing?
Uh I knew this was coming!
Give us the inside scoop for our friends.
Alright well hey, I hear the phone ringing...
Hahaha
Man, so, May, June, these are big beer seasons in Rochester
Beer season, festival season is fast approaching.
So with Lilac Fest, we have a couple things but are undecided.
I will say that be something that's fruity, and on the horizon, some people may say they see a fuschia color
it'll have a little gucci hops as we like to call it.
Big Bold and Beautiful. And I hear there's alot of breweris that are going to be making something special just for the festival. We're so fortunate in Rochester to have so many local breweries.
And now we're going to have things that's made just for us...that's pretty special. Not all craft beer expos can say that. That's true.
When you have a festival that you're inviting the brewers to and folks that are directly related to the breweries, that's when you just want to go show it off.
It's like putting on the bro top and letting the guns fly. Exactly!
Jon do you think the Craft Beer Expo is better if you're a newbie, or enthusiast...
you know, what can they expect to try?
I think, honestly, festivals have become for everybody. You can have the craft beer fanatic...
Or young families or empty nesters.
In the last 5 years or so, it's starting to be where the face of craft beer isn't just a white homeless looking man with a beard. It's everybody.
Does the man also wear some 'luxury sweatpants'?
That I may or may not be drinking right now? Change up!
Oh this is phenomenal! So luxury sweatpants...they're not necessarily for me...
I don't have the body type for sweatpants. Oh you're more of jegging. As long as your shirt is long enough, let it go! Do your thing. This means we're only shooting from here up right?
Tell us where the name came from, tell us about the notes...
So it's a double IPA, super clear. I mean you can read through it.
It's dank and deceptive.
It's got a pungent aromatic. As clear as it is, you might think it's more bitter as people have said.
This would be dangerous, because it really hides the 8.2%, I would have never guessed.
It's just beautiful beer. I'd have one of these and say let's have another but then I think it would hit me.
We could do two of these, then start shooting and then we'll see what happens.
It truly is dangerous. Yes indeed.
Wow, I'm just really looking forward to this event. It's just something every single year and everyone is so stir crazy, especially this winter.
This spring has just not started really. I mean technically but not really.
I'm gonna start taking bets about whether the lilacs will be blooming...everyone's so freaked out by that.
I mean with all there is and beer and music, I mean the lilacs are great, but the Lilac Festival is so much more than just lilacs. It's pretty iconic up here.
I'm really looking forward to this. Absolutely.
It's evolved so much in the last couple years.
I mean I used to do the wine tent, which they are doing.
The Wine Tasting Expo is the week before on the 12th.
Um and then the Bloody Mary Expo too, on the 13th.
So, we'll be there for all of them...
And Jon's legit hair do too. And he's going to do this to our hair prior to going.
After this video...and if it works out well, we can do that again.
Deceptively dark locks. Well I'm going to change drinks...
yes
This is Change Over. Or is this Cut Up?
This is Change Over.
They're starting to kick in. I don't even know.
Yeah Change Over weighs in at 7.7% so again, that kind of sweetened flavor.
Almost like a light grape, concord.
I'm truly enjoying all of these, but this one right off the bat you taste a little bit of the oat and it is also deceptive, so thanks for that!
thank you, I do what I can.
So why do you lean the glass?
I don't think the viewers saw.
yeah, like it just it just it happens.
I mean I don't know.
We honestly, full disclosure, never knew these glasses did that.
And, the night that... here's a story for you... the night of the grand opening,
We had some beer and then all the sudden put the glass down...
It was a eurika moment
So then from there, it's a good way
It's a good way to talk with friends, shoot some video, shoot some hoops.
yeah just shaking it, you know.
Well I think we're going to wrap up so we can actually finish these. Let's remind you of a couple things, so the Lilac Festival is having their Craft Beer Expo on May 19th.
There's two sessions, 1-4PM and 5:30-8:30PM
There's a mix of price tiers, so you have a DD ticket for $10, general admission for $35 and VIP for $50.
We will be VIP!
Fifth Frame will be there so go say high to Jon. If you have any ideas out there for what we want to do since we're kinda on the fence, throw it out there.
I love it. So cheers! We'll see you there at the Lilac Fest.

Our Vision for the Narthex - Duration: 4:54.
hello I'm Terry Reid I chair the master planning initiative here at Atonement as
we started looking at master planning several years ago it became apparent to
us very early on that two of the parts of ministry that we needed to address
where hospitality and fellowship over the last couple of years as we've been
going through our planning process many of you told us how important hospitality
and fellowship was and particularly how it was important in this space close to
our worship space we also have come to recognize how first impressions are so
important for people entering the church for the first time and how their
decisions to come back or not is based on those first impressions currently the
entrance to our church the Narthex is a rather uninspiring pass-through area
with limited seating and no large comfortable area to socialize we would
like to create a larger more comfortable gathering space a fellowship area in the
space that is now occupied by our church secretary's office coat closet and the
associate pastors office this new fellowship area will open up the space
between the front doors and the sanctuary and the hallway leading to
Lundin Hall to expand our ministry of hospitality and to greet members and
newcomers through these changes to the Narthex and all the surrounding space we
hope that we can create a more family-friendly environment that's going
to meet our needs for hospitality and friendship hello everybody my name is
Ryan I'm the new senior pastor here at Atonement from the very first day I set
foot on the campus of Atonement I was very impressed with the Narthex it's a
great space it's a great space compared to most Nathexes
in the Lutheran Church it's a great space compared to the Narthex in
the old building but I've come to realize that as good as it is as a
pass-through space as an entry space it is not so great in some other ways one
of the things I have noticed is that it can be hard to have one-on-one
conversations in the Narthex because of this beautiful pointed ceiling in here
it's very echoey and I'm sure many of you have experienced that same thing so
what happens is that people pass through with the Narthex and make their way into
the hallway the hallway that leads to the offices and pass classrooms and down
to Lundin Hall they go into the hallway because it has a lower ceiling the walls
are a little bit tighter and it feels like an appropriate place to have a
one-on-one conversation one of the things I'm most excited about for this
project is that it would finally create some space where folks who want to have
those conversations where they want to catch up with one another and sit down
be comfortable feel at home and enjoy their brothers and sisters or whatever
time they have so one of the things they taught us in seminary is that visitors
to your congregation make up their mind about whether they're going to come back
way sooner in their visit than we imagine we think to ourselves that
people decide whether they're going to come back based on what they experience
in the Sanctuary they hear amazing music and beautiful preaching we think that's
when they're going to make their decision about whether or not they're
going to come back but studies have found that folks make that choice much
sooner in the process sometimes as early as when they pull into the parking
many times as soon as they step foot into a gathering space when folks come
into this space even before they get into a sanctuary like environment they
should know that they feel welcome and at home and there's an energy that they
feel like they want to be a part of we know that we have a lot of work to do
and that God and Christ through the Spirit is calling this congregation to
grow and this new space could be a great tool for our evangelism efforts

Brown took to Instagram later in the evening to confirm the injury and express his interest in being booked opposite Condit again.
