demonstrate how to apply for an Arizona trade name also known as a DBA using the

Arizona Secretary of State's online application.

liability companies we formed new LLC's for 397 597 and 997 we also prepare

now there's some things that you need to know before you apply for the trade name.

First of all an Arizona trade name is referred to as a business name

fictitious name doing business as or a DBA they're all the same thing except in

Arizona the Secretary of State calls these terms a trade name. Now registering

in Arizona a trade name is not legally required by the state of Arizona but it

is a very common business practice and filing in Arizona a trade name registers

a business thing for public record but it's only with respect to the state of

Arizona doesn't have anything to do with other states or the federal government.

Now you should know that a trade name is not a trademark or a service mark a

trademark is a word for a symbol and/or design that identifies and distinguishes

the source of goods of one party from those of others a service mark is a word

phrase symbol and/or design that identifies and distinguishes the source

of a service of one party from those of others some examples of trademarks are

brand names slogans and logos the term trademark is often used in a general

sense to refer to both trademarks and service marks if you want to learn more

that the trademark office made that it gives a general overview of federal

trademarks now if you need to get a federal trademark to protect your mark

and all 50 states you should consult a trademark attorney.

Now here's some things you need to know about Arizona trade names before you

apply first you need to search the Secretary of State's website and see if

there's a problem with the trade name that you want conflicting with an

existing business thing. So go to goog l ford slash 3 small k 3 capital u small

zj that'll take you to the Arizona Secretary of State's online database

where you can search to see if the desired trade name is available the

trade name must be distinctive and distinguishable from all existing

registrations and existing Arizona companies. Now you must apply for an

Arizona trade name using the Secretary of State's online system paper

applications will be rejected the cost is very small only 10 dollars and you

can pay by credit card or check your Arizona trade name will expire five

years after it's issued unless you renew it if the trade name does not grant

exclusive rights to a business name and if you get in Arizona trade name you're

not creating a corporation or a limited liability company or any other type of

company it's just a name used by a person or a business to identify that

person or that business the first step in the application process is to

determine who will be the applicant applying for the trade name if your LLC

corporation or partnership is using the trade name in connection with its

business then the entity should be the applicant rather than a person the trade

name cannot contain an entity name endings such as LLC Inc incorporated

Corp Corporation Ltd CH TD or LP you just need to have the name the trade

name without the instance ending now if your desired trade name is

identical to your existing company name without the ending you do not need a

trade name. For example if your company is worldwide widgets LLC you do not need

to get a trade name worldwide widgets the fact that your company name was

issued worldwide widgets LLC protects that name throughout the state of

Arizona and you don't need to get a trade name. Now let's go to the Arizona

Secretary of State's online trade name application URL so open your browser and

in the URL area you're going to type in goog l /o for capital K capital D small

G capital B and then hit the enter button that's going to take you to the

trade name application page on the Secretary of State's website in the name

field enter the exact text including spaces and punctuation that you would

like for your trading then underneath that field in the email field enter the

email address where you want the secretary of state to send

correspondence related to your trading. Then click on the search icon and the

search results are either going to say the name is not available or it is in

this case we are available so now click on the continue button and now it wants

to know the name of the owner of the trade name next go up to the entity type

field and click on that field and you'll see that you have several choices on

selecting the do entity type select the proper entity type for the applicant and

then if it's a company you have to enter the state of formation now in the name

field type in the exact legal name of the applicant of the company that's

applying for the trade name then click on the Add icon

now you can click on continue now we need to enter the address and related

information for the applicant the Arizona Secretary of State wants to

confirm that the person who's going to be signing this online application is

actually associated with the company that's the applicant so if the person

who's signing is listed on the corporation Commission's website as an

officer or a member or manager of the company then you can click the skip

button and go ahead to the next screen if your application is going to be

signed by a person on behalf of an Arizona company then you need to make

sure that the person who's going to sign the online application is listed on the

records of the Corporation Commission as an officer member or manager of the

company so go to your browser and type in the URL area II cor PA CCC govt Ford

size capital se AR CHS and hit the enter button it's going to take you to the

Corporation Commission search page there's two areas where you can enter

the name of the company that you're searching for the top field says search

for an entity name so you can enter the name there or under the search text just

below the question mark there's another field that says name so enter the name

of the company that you're searching for and either those two fields and then

click on the search icon and when you see the company listed below click on it

and it's going to open up a page that gives you the information about that

company so scroll down and look to see who's named as member or manager and

here we can see that on this particular company Jones property management LLC

the Ryan Jones is a statutory agent that's not useful so if the only time

Ryan were to show up on this record was as the statutory agent that would not

be sufficient he needs to show up as a member of manager and he does under the

member manager information area Ryan Jones and Malia Jones are both listed as

members so either one of them could sign the application for an online trade name

if that person is not listed on the corporation Commission's website then

you need to get up letter of authorization from the company that's

signed then upload that signed letter here on the Secretary of State's webpage

or alternatively mailed that letter to the Secretary of State now if you want

to upload an authorization letter click on choose file then navigate to the file

that's saved on your computer select it and then click the add file and now

click on the continue button enter the last name first name middle name and

suffix if any of the person who's signing this online application then

click the continue button now you need to review all of the information that

you've submitted if anything is incorrect click on the back icon and

then correct the problem and then when you get back to this screen and

everything looks good you can click on the continue button now because I had to

submit that review letter the Secretary of State's going to review my

application and then give me an answer in two to three weeks as to whether it's

been approved or not when it is approved that I'll also be given an opportunity

to pay by credit card or by cheque now if you did not need to upload an

authorization letter then you're going to be given an opportunity to pay for

the trade name now and then you'll immediately be issued the trade name now

we do recommend that you click on the icon that says print application form

it's a good thing to have a written record of what you've submitted to the

Secretary of State click on that icon and you'll see

tradename application displayed on the screen and then click on the print

button or you can also download and save it to your computer so that's it good

dog but refuse to accept a giant breed on their property okay so my second

question is what breed has the best energy levels to suit your lifestyle now

this is a huge consideration and it will have a massive impact on the mental and

physical health of your dog a really high energy dog breed it might be the

right choice for you if you want them to be a running companion five nights a

week and you're able and willing to walk them for several miles two or

three times a day they might be right for you if you want a playful dog who

will grow with your children who enjoy being outside and active an energetic

dog will be right if you want a dog to get involved with agility or flyball so a

low-energy dog they might be better if you need to be out of the house for long

periods of time and you're leaving your dog behind they might be the right

choice if you aren't able to exercise them regularly or for very long and a

low-energy dog might be better if you just want a quite companion to keep you

company so don't underestimate the need to match your dog's energy levels to

your lifestyle if you under exercise an energetic lively dog then they may very

well develop significant behavioral problems such as constant barking and

destructive behavior later on while socialization also plays a huge role in

preventing other behavioral problems it is actually behavioral issues that are

the biggest cause of dogs under three either being rehomed

or euthanized so these issues are really serious issues that shouldn't be ignored

and choosing the wrong breed of dog could in effect be a fatal decision at

the other end of the spectrum though an under exercised dog might be more likely

to become overweight or obese and choosing a dog that never wants to come

running or playing in the garden and actually that's what you want so

choosing a dog with too low in energy might mean that you never really get a

really close relationship with your dog if this is actually what you want them

to do and this again can compromise their quality of life by reducing the

quality of interaction between you as a family so my third question in choosing

the best dog for your family is what care are they likely to need now and in

the future so if you have your heart set on a specific breed do you know what

health issues that that breed is prone to Labradors and German Shepherds get

arthritis Westies gets allergic skin disease short nose brachycephalic

breeds may get breathing and skin problems dachshunds get slipped discs

you know this is a generalization but most breeds

have certain conditions that they're more prone to getting to a greater or

lesser degree then the general dog population as a whole so you need to be

prepared that your dog might suffer from either condition they're more prone to

getting and have the resources to treat them appropriately if you don't like the

sound of this well mixed breeds are less likely to suffer from these genetic

conditions and are overall felt to be that little bit healthier of course an

individual purebred dog may never suffer from any significant disease in its life

and a mixed breed dog may be very unfortunate and unhealthy and develop

lots of different conditions but on average mixed breeders less likely to

need treatment certainly for genetic conditions if you have your heart set on

a certain breed though then there are definitely steps that you can take to

reduce the risk of future problems so hip or elbow dysplasia is a real risk

then have both parents been hip scored have they had their elbows scored if you

want a short nose breed then choose from a litter whose parents have longer noses

than average want a dog prone to allergies well if the parents look like

their skin is red if they have brown saliva staining on their feet or if

their coat feels a little bit greasy then the chances are they're more likely

to pass this on to their puppies if you know someone who has had a dog from a

specific breeder and they have had genetic issues then again it might be

more likely to pass on into future puppies age is my fourth and final

question to consider when choosing the best dog for your family what is the

best age of dog to bring into your family do you have the time and patience

to put into socialization and training of a young puppy

so socialization is not optional and as I've discussed before it's essential for

the development of a happy well-rounded a dog

toilet training can take some dogs quite a bit of time to learn if you're going

to get angry whenever they have an accident then a puppy really isn't for

you if you want a dog who is already house trained or who knows some basic

commands already then getting an adult dog may be the better choice while all

dogs require a significant time invested into them puppies require more time

again so if this is going to be hard than an older dog may be a great fit all

puppies are boisterous and playful and at times can be a real handful some dogs

and some breeds might only grow up in their senior years they might always

behave as though they're a puppy so if you're looking for a quiet dog to keep

you company then a senior dog may actually be just the ticket you can get

dogs of all ages and types from shelters and rescue centers so have a serious

thought about what age of dog will be best for your situation because the

chances are the perfect dog will be available so answering these four

questions will really help you find the best breed of dog for your family if

San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard is reportedly the trade target for a number of teams.

ESPNs Brian Windhorst appeared on Outside the Lines on Monday and said, via RealGM: I have already talked to several NBA general managers. At the end of this season, teams will call the Spurs and inquire about the availability of Kawhi Leonard..

Zach Lowe of ESPN tweeted confirmation of the report and said vultures are circling, in hopes of action around the draft June 21.

Leonard can become a free agent in 2019 with the player option in his contract, per Spotrac, and RealGM explained he could sign a supermax extension with the Spurs this offseason worth more than $200 million.

Leonard would be unable to sign a max contract at 35 percent of the cap should he leave the Spurs..

The San Diego State product has played just nine games this season as he rehabs a right quadriceps injury that has led to a number of headlines.

Adrian Wojnarowski and Michael C. Wright of ESPN reported Saturday that Leonard has gone to New York to rehab with no timetable to return to action.

They also noted it is the second occasion he traveled to New York to use his outside medical team for the injury. .

Near the end of last month, Wojnarowski reported Tony Parker led a tense and emotional players-only meeting to implore Leonard to aid with a postseason push, but he has still not returned.

Despite the health problems and reportedly tense situation in San Antonio, Leonard is only 26 years old and one of the best two-way players in the league after averaging a career-best 25.5 points per game last season.

It is no wonder so many teams are interested in his services and plan on contacting the Spurs about a potential trade.

Leonard is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year, two-time All-NBA selection, four-time All-Defensive team selection and the 2014 NBA Finals MVP, and he would represent a significant building block for any franchise.

I think there's one that's like a letter or a cable between the ambassador and

the defense minister with just some parts that are redacted that could be important.

In the spring I took a class called LSJ 380 and my professor had said

that he had FOIA'd himself and I didn't really know what that meant.

I didn't really know a whole lot about about FOIA, like the Freedom of Information Act

and getting documents under it... like I knew you could do it,

I guess I had like kind of a vague idea of what it was.

I didn't know how to write them and I wasn't aware that like anybody could do it,

even like people outside of the country.

The Freedom of Information Act, also known as the FOIA, is a law that was passed by the US Congress

in 1966 that gives anyone the right to request information from the US government.

The FOIA is a really important tool for human rights because

often these declassified US government documents provide evidence of human

rights violations and these documents can be used as evidence in human rights

trials both nationally and internationally.

There's a case in El Salvador that's going to court that is

prosecuting people in the Salvadoran High Command for events that

took place during the Salvadoran Civil War. The lawyers who are working on that

case have asked the UW Center for Human Rights to compile the universe of

U.S. documents that exists on that issue they're investigating.

And so I'm just conducting a bunch of research on it from previously declassified documents,

news publications, finding witnesses to the war crime, and then writing new

FOIAs to try to get more information.

The first FOIA that I had submitted was regarding somebody's family member

like that felt really really important, being able to...

we weren't able to find any documents but it felt important that we at least tried.

In addition to pressuring governments and like protesting

you need to have people who are doing like the grunt, work like the nerdy work

actually like put evidence together to prove these things happened.

I've learned about some of these events

or like the conflict in El Salvador in a lot of my classes

and it makes it feel like it's history like it's past

but through the internship and working with

the teams in El Salvador it really makes it more current and you realize that it

could have an impact for families that are in El Salvador right now

I'm also waiting to hear back from from our partners at the ACLU...

I've also transitioned from working with like the federal FOIA to the state FOIA.

It's an important tool to have to know like what your city government is

doing in regards to a specific cause that you care about.

When you're doing research like you're not like oh this is so annoying you have to

look through all these documents you're like actively trying to like find

something that's very important and it's not tedious at all...

It's just, I don't know, I think it's just really exciting! [laughs]

This is the first time I'm actually engaging in a human rights struggle.

It sounds kind of cheesy but it it's the

first time that I'm actually engaging with an issue that I feel strongly about.

Even as an intern your work is really important to the overall progress that

the center is making so it definitely it doesn't feel like busywork ever or like

menial or anything it all feels like everybody's part is really an important piece of the puzzle.

The work might seem small but it's just all

adding to the final hopefully the final product which is holding people accountable.

I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favourite artists have had on me live.

And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I dont know if Ill ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home..

Zazie Beetz in talks for Jean Seberg biopic - Duration: 3:37.

Zazie Beetz is in talks to star in the Jean Seberg biopic Against All Enemies.

The 26-year-old actress - who is best known for her role in Atlanta - is currently in negotiations to join Kristen Stewart in the new movie by Benedict Andrews, according to Variety.

At the time of reporting, it is not known which role Beetz will play but if she decides to take the part, she will be starring alongside Anthony Mackie, Jack OConnell, Margaret Qualley and Colm Meany.

The story focuses on the attempts by the FBI to discredit the America actress Seberg through its Cointelpro program in retaliation for her support of the Black Panther Party.

The FBI fabricated a false story in 1970 that the child she was carrying was not fathered by her husband, but by a member of the Party.

Black Panther Party, original name Black Panther Party for Self-Defense, African American revolutionary party, was founded in 1966 in Oakland, California, by Huey Newton and Bobby Seale.

The partys original purpose was to patrol African American neighborhoods to protect residents from acts of police brutality.

Seberg was best known for her roles in a number of films including Saint Joan, Bonjour Tristesse, Breathless and The Mouse That Roared.

The actress - who spent half her life in France - died at the age of 40 with police ruling her death as a suicide.

Andrews is set to direct the script which has been penned by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse, with La La Land producers Fred Berger and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones.

Beetz will next be seen as Neena Thurman and her alter-ego Domino in the upcoming Deadpool 2 movie alongside Ryan Reynolds who is reprising his role as the titular superhero.

And Beetz previously praised her co-star and said he was incredibly talented.

She said: Honestly, its amazing kind of watching Ryan do his thing because you think like, Oh, he has the mask on and you can ADR all of it or whatever, but he is genuinely incredibly talented, and its pretty impressive to watch. Hes just really good.

And so, for me, this is the biggest thing Ive done, so Ive been very much sort of observing and its been a good vibe set to observe on and [theres] a lot of really talented people..

For GOP, Counting 'Every Person Living' Means Only Counting White People

As the 2010 census was approaching, my former boss, Rep.

Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), introduced a resolution: Expressing the sense of the House that, in accordance with Article I, Section 2 of the U.S.

Constitution, that 'in conducting the 2010 decennial census, the Secretary of Commerce should use all legal and reasonable means to count every person living in the United States, any territory or possession of the United States, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and all Federal civilian and military personnel serving abroad.' The resolution garnered 50 Republican cosponsors, including Reps Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.), who is now the chief deputy whip for the Republican House caucus, Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the former head of the House Freedom Caucus, and Steve King (R-Iowa), one of the most conservative members of the chamber's GOP conference.

Let me reiterate, the resolution supported by some of the most conservative members of the Republican Party specifically called for the counting of "every person living in the United States." There was no language about citizenship or legal status in the GOP resolution.

And yet, as President Donald Trump's administration moves to change the census by asking a question specifically about citizenship, Republican voices are predictably mute.

The Trump administration is presiding over the most overt politicization of the census we have ever seen.

The intent of the citizenship question is to deliberately undercount minority populations because Republicans and the president Trump are losing with minority voters in record fashion.

They don't want to change their policies or extreme rhetoric and so they are moving to suppress minority voices.

Couple that with the alarming escalation of xenophobic rhetoric emanating from Trump and the only conclusion you can reasonably draw is that adding this question to the standard census form for the first time in 70 years is an overtly racist attempt to ensure minorities and immigrants are not counted in the 2020 census.

Trump and Republicans must realize that, in the long run, their extreme brand of racism masquerading as conservatism will make the GOP an endangered species.

The Trump administration is presiding over the most overt politicization of the census we have ever seen.

Sunshine Hillygus, one of about 15 outside experts on the Census Scientific Advisory Committee who advise the census bureau, said the last minute addition of the citizenship question should be a wake-up call to us all: "I want to say in no uncertain terms that I think this is an absolutely awful decision.

I am dumbfounded that this decision is coming in at such a late date.

My view is that this is going to have severe negative implications for data quality and costs." The reality is that, since taking office, Trump has presided over draconian policies designed to attack the very heart of immigrant communities in the United States.

From the unconstitutional travel ban to rescinding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and attacking Dreamers, Trump has made his intentions clear.

Understandably, there is a lot of concern about what this administration would do with a list that details who is a citizen and who is not.

It is conceivable, if not likely, that Trump and his administration would use this list to attack immigrants and minorities in this country.

That possibility will inevitably lead to minorities and immigrants to decide it's not worth the risk to participate in the census.

This will lead to a dramatic undercount of minorities in the population.

Financial resources will not be apportioned accurately.

Representation will be decided differently.

In short, this will have a cascading effect that will far outlast this president.

The bottom line is Republicans either live up to their own standard that "every living person in the United States" is counted or they are declaring that they do not view immigrants and minorities as persons that deserve to be counted.

They are knowingly relegating them to second-class status in America.

They want to empower Trump to have a list of citizens and noncitizens to continue the war against people who don't look like them.

They want to use the 2020 census to rig the next 10 years of elections.

To reverse the course of social progress.

To ensure that the only rule we have in America is white rule.

Voices for Minnesota's Public Lands - Duration: 2:52.

Public land has definitely shaped who I am as a person

and how I spend my free time…

without it, I wouldn't be able to take my dogs

on these amazing runs

and we wouldn't see the wildlife that we've seen on our walks,

I wouldn't get to watch my puppies

slip around on the ice in little creeks and everything…

I wouldn't have the hunting opportunities I've had.

For deer hunters, public land is critical.

We've surveyed our membership and

approximately 60 percent of our members hunt on public land,

and the younger they are

the more likely they are to hunt public land…

and for some of them it's the only opportunity they would have.

If I had to say one thing to somebody about public lands,

it would be that

it's where I found myself as a conservationist.

I started as an AmeriCorps member,

and served on a number of different public lands,

and falling in love with our public lands was

really what got me into caring about our natural resources.

It's just a great opportunity for us to get out

and explore the public lands with the family

and, like you said

just get out and take a break from reality

and just step back from work and the whole routine of life

and just break that habit and get out and explore

what is going on around us.

Getting outside,

getting in touch with yourself, with nature

having a really good time and just getting lost in the woods.

It's awesome…

it's just really beautiful and amazing to see

what this world has to offer us.

My favorite piece of public land

is the Foothills State Forest, in Backus,

it's my favorite piece of land because when I was growing up,

that's where we went hunting,

and we relied on hunting for our food sources for the winter.

And so my family would go up there

and we would set up a lean-to

and we would hunt for deer hunting weekend,

and hopefully, we'd get some deer,

and it became just very, very special to me.

Trails, public land

can create that kind of a lifestyle change,

that kind of community change,

this isn't just building trails, this isn't just going outdoors,

this is positively impacting our future,

this is making tomorrow better,

this is improving the quality of life

for an entire state.

This is a big deal!

The really cool thing about public lands is

they're owned by us, and they're available for us…

there are no signs saying, 'keep out, no trespassing,'

we get to use them, they belong to the people.
