Dr. Mindy here and with my reset tip for you for today. As many

of you know that have been following me I coach a lot of people really really

sick people back to health and there's a lot of pieces that we put together in

order for people to get well and a lot of the tools that I use I'm teaching

you guys here on Facebook and in my resetter group and I'm a big believer in

the ketogenic diet and one of the things that I have learned in watching all

these people go through different ways of clicking into ketosis different ways

of lowering blood sugar is that everybody has a unique path to a low

blood sugar high ketone and there are four things that will block you from

getting that lower blood sugar so a lot of you guys are doing the blood sugar

readers and you're looking at it you're seeing that your your numbers are still

really high so I want you to think about four things the first is that you

definitely this is very very classic when people go low carb sometimes they

forget to go high fat so one trick for lowering blood sugar is make sure that

you're going high fat the other thing I want to tell you on that is make sure

your protein isn't too high so a lot of people are going low carb high fat but

they're still doing their protein really high I recommend your proteins

under 50 grams so the first thing is to look at your diet and just

know that you've got your ratios right to get that blood sugar low okay second

thing neurotoxic people will always have high blood sugar regardless of what they

do with their nutrition so if you're fasting and you're you're keeping your

carbs down and eating your high fat and you're still coming up with these high

blood sugar numbers you've got to start thinking about heavy metals pesticides

glyphosate things like that will have a dramatic effect

on your blood sugar so make sure that you've either done a heavy mail test

make sure that you are implementing some type of heavy metal detoxing okay third

thing what we're starting to see is that sometimes there can be like gut bacteria

that pathogens like Candida that will give off exotoxins and exotoxins will go

in and they'll block those receptor sites that for insulin and glucose so

test your gut know if you have Candida and know if you have SIBO or a parasite

that also can throw your blood sugar off and then the last thing is something

that I discovered actually just today a patient of mine is having a really

positive reaction with taking enzymes before at night she's noticing that her

blood sugar is lower in the morning so here's what enzymes do until your gut

is healthy enzymes help break down food so your body can assimilate it easier so

things like we use this MELA we use to help break down meat so some

of you that are not good at breaking down meat and and one way you would know

that is you just feel really bloated after you eat those of you that are

gluten intolerant and you're not good at breaking down gluten try ZGLUTN the

one that's working for this patient of mine is ENZEE is really helpful for

breaking down carbs so again if you're struggling to get

that number down you're doing all the other things have you tried ENZEE because

that will help bring it down and then we my favorite overall enzyme for just

you're not sure what enzyme you need is D-Digest so it's a lot of pieces and

what I want to get across to you is that low blood sugar means health and

when your blood sugar goes low your ketones will go high and your body's

healing but how do you make that happen is unique to you so check out those four

things if you've done one two and three it's time to think about throwing some

enzymes in if you haven't done the first three and

you throw enzymes in you may not get as good of a reaction so I definitely gave

it to you in the order in which I would do it so nutrition first I would then

look at heavy metals then I would look at pathogens and then I would look at

in this video I'm gonna be getting into an article that I found on the

independent online about how the vegetarian diet can be just as effective

for weight loss as the Mediterranean diet apparently. but before we get into

let's get into this article and the headline starts "a vegetarian diet just

as effective for weight loss as a Mediterranean diet new study claims" it

goes on to say the Mediterranean diet is often lauded as one of the healthiest

diets around taking inspiration from the eating habits of those people from Spain

Greece and southern Italy however the vegetarian diet might not be too far

behind in terms of heart health and weight loss new research suggests.

published in the Journal of circulation the study examine the effects of both

diets on 107 over weight but otherwise healthy adults for a six month period

with participants spending half their time consuming a Mediterranean diet

before switching to a latter ovo vegetarian diet. while the former

advocates lean proteins nuts and whole grains

the latter excludes meat and fish but permits dairy and eggs. participants attended

regular health checks throughout the duration study and were advised to

cut down on calories by menus designed by nutritionists. following final

examinations the Italian researchers concluded that both diets were as

effective in reducing body weight fat mass and body mass index with the

average participant losing 1.88 kilos on the vegetarian diet

and another losing1.77 kilos on the Mediterranean diet. so the

problem with this article is that it's coming at you with the premise that

there are still good foods and bad foods and some can't make you gain weight and

some a healthier for you and those diets are better for weight loss. this is wrong

because whatever diet you're on whether it's paleo, vegan, standard Western

American diet, the vegetarian diet the list goes on. Any diet can make

you gain weight or lose weight because it comes down to calories in versus

calories out. all foods contain calories all foods contain macronutrients. so any

food or diet can help or hinder your weight-loss goal. don't be fooled

that some diets or some foods can't make you fat. yes they can and that's any diet

any food you can think of. it goes on to say they also examined the effects both

diets had on participants cardiovascular health and found that both were equally

ineffective in different ways. being on the vegetarian diet led to reduce levels

of LDL cholesterol often referred to as the bad kind of cholesterol due to the

propensity to buildup in the arteries and potentially caused a stroke or heart

attack. meanwhile the study revealed that the

was more effective and reducing triglycerides or fatty acids

which can be similarly detrimental to the heart health when a buildup occurs.

now a veggie or plant-based diet is always going to be better for lowering

LDL aka bad cholesterol because you're cutting out a boatload of saturated

animal fat, which is awful for your insides also don't be fooled by this

healthy fats fad which has been around for the past few years telling you you

can get loose on butter, cheese, steaks bacon... this will clog up your insides and

arteries and I highly advise anyone from going ketogenic or Atkins diet or

whatever as although weight loss can be achieved, of course its calories in

versus calories out. It is unsustainable and you're setting yourself up for a

whole load of future health complications. the article

take-home messages that a vegetarian diet is easy and feasible to follow

without any health problems if well conducted and prepared by an instructive

nutritionist. This helps you reduce some cardiovascular risk factors as well as

the Mediterranean diet. right first off you do not need to consult a

nutritionist if you want to go vegetarian or even vegan. You just need

to cut out meat, fish and hopefully lots of animal products. If you really want to

improve your health that being said if you did that but you over consume the

amount that you actually need you're still going to gain weight, you're still

going to gain body fat. The bottom line is it's not the actual food that you're

eating here for weight loss. It's the amount. choose the diet and food that you

enjoy and can see yourself sticking to for years to come and then start

tracking your macros, tracking your macro nutrients your proteins your fats and

your carbs in line with the food that you like ,and in line with your goal and

keep being consistent and you will lose weight and you

we'll shed body fat! it's as simple as that. It's not the food you're eating,

it's the amount. Track your macros in a calorie deficit and you will lose weight,
