Is Attack on Titan Ending Soon? When Is Attack on Titan Ending? Attack on Titan Theory - Duration: 4:48.

Is attack on Titan going to end? What's up guys Foxen here and sorry for the

dumb question. Attack on Titan is gonna end but the real question is when? Tight

now of the WIT studio that produced attack on Titan wants to animate all the

attack on Titan. They're already looking forward to attack on Titan season 4 so

the anime ending still is further into the future. Right now the attack on Titan

manga currently is on chapter 96. The next chapter is coming out in a day or

two, so the real question is when exactly is attack on Titan manga ending? Back in

2015 Isayama had an interview where he mentioned that as of volume 16 the manga

was 60% complete. Doing some basic math and rounding up this means that the

series would be 27 volumes total. Let me stop for a moment and just mention how

amazing and interesting this all is. The attack on Titan manga was originally

planned to be only 20 volumes. Due to the colossal hit that has been Isayama

has been able to spend more time fleshing out certain parts of the attack

on Titan story. Keep this in mind. You'll see why this is important in a little bit. As

of this moment the release dates for volumes 24 to 26 have been announced.

They're all getting be bundled with a special episode of the Lost Girls series. Each

of these volumes does cover four chapters. At 20 volumes total this means

that the series is gonna end on chapter 110. Assuming there is no changes to this

this means that the Attack on Titan series won't end on October 2018. This

would be right after attack on Titan season three ended. So there you have it

mark your calendars for October next year! It'll be a sad day for all of us,

but wait hold up a second. Whether you caught up with the manga or are anime

only, can attack on Titan will the end in thirteen chapters? When you focus on that

number things don't add up. Right now in the manga you haven't seen the main

protagonist in like half a year. The current arc is only midway through

volume 24 so I do expect the current events to keep on going for at least two

more chapters. Even if this arc does conclude in two more chapters this means

that this arc would be eight chapters total. If you don't count the attack

on Titan intro and a Scouts training arc this would make it the shortest arc

in the series at eight chapters. This is why I got a strong feeling that the

current arc will continue for at least 12 chapters total. That then means that

the whole story will have to conclude in eight chapters.

Talk about mission impossible. Thankfully an updated timeline of when Attack on

Titan will end has been hinted at in an interview with attack on Titan editor.

This was from April of this year. He confirms that the manga is moving

towards the end. He goes on to talk about how they didn't wish for the manga to be

extended past a current plan, this being 27 volumes, but the path towards the end

is getting stretched longer. In other words this will definitely go past 27

volumes easy! He also mentioned how they kept on

running into situations where the current events will be wrapped up in one

chapter but instead they ended up taking two chapters to complete. I think the

current arc is a great example of this but I also think that if you look back

to the uprising arc and the arc after that there's a lot of places where you

can see this. Alright so putting all of this together

here's my theory or speculation about when attack on Titan will actually come

to an end. The current flashback arc will go on for at least 12 chapters total.

After this that'll be when the final attack on Titan arc actually begins.

Unsurprisingly this final arc could be the longest in the series. The longest so

far has been 20 chapters. Right now let's go with 20, that'll bump up the series to

a total of 30 volumes. The updated end date to this would be then October

2019. Pretty much an extra year than originally expected, but get this. The

final total instead might be 121 chapters. This way attack on Titan could

end one month earlier in September. You might be wondering why is this important.

There's actually two reasons. First off this is a pretty important date.

September 2019 would mark the 10th anniversary since attack on Titan first

began. The second reason is pretty huge for anime Watchers. Attack on Titan

season 4 should start Spring 2019 so by this time it should have already begun.

You could see a Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood situation. The attack on

Titan manga and anime could end very close to one another and that date will

be September 2019 but hey that's just an attack on Titan theory! Now let me hear
