Essential Life Hacks For Pregnant Women - Duration: 5:41.Congratulations, you're pregnant!
So now you're probably nauseous, you have to pee every 10 minutes, and you're totally
stressing about the actual birth.
Luckily, you don't have to suffer through the next nine months.
We've got experts weighing in on the very best life hacks for nailing your pregnancy.
Fireball
OK, no, not this kind...
THIS kind.
You've probably heard ginger tea soothes nausea, but did you know that hot tamales and atomic
fireballs get the same results?
Reproductive endocrinologist, Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh says, "Herbalists have long known of the power
of cinnamon, and many recent published scientific studies are also demonstrating the same.
Cinnamon is a side-effect-free way of reducing symptoms that are so commonly seen in pregnancy."
She adds, "I tell patients to suck on the candy and don't necessarily eat the entire
[thing].
But just warning you, after pregnancy you may have a really hard time eating a hot tamale
again."
But if you're sweating the heat, there's another option!
Unisom
Beat the nausea, without a prescription.
Dr. Aimee says, quote, "You've heard of Kim Kardashian marketing Diclegis for nausea.
It's pregnancy category A, which means it's safe [for your baby]...But if you need relief
in a pinch…"
"Taking Unisom with b6 is almost just like Diclegis and no prescription needed.
Unisom tabs are super small and easier to swallow so they may work better."
However, Dr. Aimee warns, "Before you try any of these pregnancy hacks do talk to your
doctor.
Severe nausea could be a sign of untreated hyperthyroidism, and that's something you'd
want to know."
Stimulation
Gotta go — with nowhere to go?
Bailey Gaddis, birth doula, and author of Feng Shui Mommy says, "If you're ever in traffic
with a full bladder...redirect attention from your bladder by using...touch techniques."
She says, quote, "If you're not the one driving, direct attention to your arm by lightly grazing
the back of your fingertips across your arm.
This light touch helps to stimulate your nerve endings and release endorphins.
If you're the one behind the wheel, lightly graze one thumb across the side of the other."
Or maybe, you actually want to stimulate your pee...
Peppermint oil
If you're having trouble peeing, Gaddis says, "Pressure on the bladder and swelling in [the]
vaginal region [makes it] difficult to fully empty the bladder...My number one, top secret
tip, that all my pregnant clients love, is to put a few drops of peppermint essential
oil in the toilet bowl if you ever have trouble urinating.
Peppermint oil is so effective because its vapors help to dilate the urethra.
This tip is especially helpful during childbirth when the pressure on the bladder and swelling
in the vaginal region is greatly intensified."
Relax with your main squeeze
Use that baby-related restless sleep, as a chance to bond with your partner.
Gaddis says, "To ward off insomnia, tell your partner it's essential to practice birthing
relaxation techniques like pressure point work, light touch massage, scalp, jaw, and
foot massage, and guided meditation together before bed to ensure you're both fully prepped
for birth."
Doing these relaxation techniques has multiple benefits.
Gaddis continues, "Not only can this get you nightly massages, but it will serve to deepen
your bond with your partner, fill your birthing tool kit, and help you drift into deep and
restorative sleep."
Meditative meals
Meditating before meals can help you make better food choices and stay healthy throughout
your pregnancy.
Gaddis recommends, "Meditate for three minutes before preparing any meal, or going into a
restaurant...When you take a few quiet moments to clear the mind before making food selections,
you're more likely to tune into what your body actually needs and desires, instead of
what your mind is saying sounds good."
Singing along
Trainers often suggest the "talk test," in which you see if you can talk comfortably
during exercise, in order to measure the intensity of your workout.
But according to Helene Byrne, internationally recognized prenatal and postpartum fitness
expert, and founder of BeFit-Mom, the "sing test" works even better.
She says, "When we speak, it's far too easy and common to take small, barely noticeable
inhalations.
So while you may not be out-right panting, you can unintentionally overshoot your ideal
prenatal aerobic training zone without recognizing it in your body."
Here's what she suggests instead: "Sing a simple song like Row, Row, Row Your Boat and
if you need to take a big inhale between the first two lines...then you should lower your
intensity."
To the core
When you have a baby occupying your uterus, it's common to experience pain.
But you can set yourself up for a smoother third trimester by doing prenatal core exercises.
Byrne recommends, "Prevent common pregnancy problems like diastasis recti , pelvic instability,
and back pain with simple prenatal core exercises that build and maintain strength in the transverse
abdominis, or TvA.
The TvA is our body's internal corset and when contracted, compresses the abdomen.
Performing these safe moves throughout pregnancy will not just prevent or lessen the severity
of these issues, but will also greatly aid in the pushing phase of labor, as the TvA
is our primary, voluntary expulsion muscle."
Yoga ball
Lessen the chance of an episiotomy or vaginal tearing by exercising on a yoga ball.
As Byrne describes it, "When you...straddle a large exercise ball, your pelvic floor is
in contact with the ball.
As you exercise on the balls, whether simple stretches, with free weights, or stability
moves, the membrane of the ball and your pelvic floor will function as one unit.
As your weight shifts on the ball, your pelvic floor will undergo a small amount of upward
pressure which gently stretches your pelvic floor muscles, which builds elasticity."
In addition, Byrne suggested, "After 36 weeks gestation, you can gently bounce on the ball
for 5 minutes a day, to more effectively build elasticity in your pelvic floor.
Practicing Kegels on the ball is great too."

8 DIRE PROPHECIES FOR 2018 FROM THE PSYCHIC WHO PREDICTED TRUMP VICTORY AND BREXIT - Duration: 3:25.8 DIRE PROPHECIES FOR 2018 FROM THE PSYCHIC WHO PREDICTED TRUMP VICTORY AND BREXIT
For some hearing what a psychic has to say should be taken with a grain of salt if even
that.
Even the most fame psychics over the years such as the late Sylvia Brown have been proven
to b wrong over the years in what they saw on the horizon.
PSYCHIC PREDICTS A GRIM FUTURE, IN 2018 So, when notable psychic Craig Hamilton-Parker
took to Youtube to make predictions that included Brexit and Donald Trump being elected President
of the United States at the end of 2016.
Both these predictions had individuals believing this can never happen no one thought Brexxit
was possible and well there was just no way Donald Trump would get the Republican nomination
let alone win the presidency.
Even when Trump did get the nomination, everyone was certain his opponent Hilary Clinton a
woman with vast political experience would win.
However, as 2017 began both Brexit was a reality, and Donald Trump took the oath of office.
Oh, another thing that Craig predicted would happen in 2017 also came to pass, after her
defeat in the election Hilary Clinton announced her retirement from politics she was done.
That's not to say everything was accurate, no psychic is perfect after all, he also claimed
Kim Jong-un would loosen his grip on North Korea but if anything this has tightened.
But hey he did predict Prince Harry would also get engaged to his girlfriend Meghan
Markle which did come to pass as well.
SO, WHAT ARE CRAIG'S PREDICTIONS FOR 2018, WILL THINGS GET BETTER?
Well, there is a saying that sometimes things have to get worse before they get better,
and according to Craig, this is what could be awaiting us in the net coming year.
He predicts that there will be a global economic downturn and there will be more terrorist
attacks.
If this isn't enough, there will be more political turmoil and more environmental catastrophes.
He also predicts that a US warship will sink sometime in 2018 and that Trump will dodge
an attempt at impeachment.
Unfortunately, in 2017 there have already been signs of trouble ahead, so odds are Craig's
predictions could come to pass.
But according to Craig, there is hope as well, and not all is lost.
Many of the above predictions are pretty gloomy, but I feel that there will be a simultaneous
growth in spirituality for the people of the world that will now start to lead us into
a Golden Age."
He went on to also say.
Conflict and hardship plus growing environmental problems will bring good people together and
ignite a desire to seek the true purpose of human life. Again maybe a psychic wasn't
needed to tell us this.
In times of adversity, the human spirit is always strong.
Individuals have learned to stand together, and to fight if they must for their fellow
man for themselves and most importantly for what they know is right.

Wheelock College Library | Your Hub for Academic Support and Success - Duration: 3:58.Hi and welcome to the Service Desk. My name is Orianna. As a student worker, I can assist
with borrowing books, looking up research, reserving rooms, checking out laptops, phone
chargers. Also, the librarians are always at the Service Desk from noon to close.
And what they do is they can assist with citations, research, really any resource that any student
might need. Our giant conference rooms with giant laptops that has a screen, so you can
use that. It's really the place where you go when you need any information about any books, or any courses. Really, this is the information center.
Hello and welcome to Library Suite 205.
My name is Katherine Hala and I'm the assistant director of academic assistance.
My main job here at Wheelock is to help students reach their academic goals. We support all
students at no additional fee for services. Some students use peer tutoring for one-on-one
peer support with academic course content and assignments. Other students come in for
one-on-one consultations with academic support specialists to create a holistic plan for success.
Students can also attend our workshops to learn skills and strategies for organization and time management.
Hi, I'm Jennifer Pike and I'm the director of Access and Disability Resources.
Access and Disability Resources provides support to students who have a variety
of disabilities. We work with students with sensory disabilities to make sure that they're
visual information is accessible. We work alongside Facilities and Public Safety, Residence Life,
and all other campus areas to make sure that their access to programs and academics
is equally as accessible as to their non-disabled peers. The Office of Access and Disability
Resources also works closely with our Counseling Services office to provide support to students who
may be struggling with a psychological challenge while they're on campus.
So, the role of the Peer Tutor is to provide peer support to our fellow undergraduates in the course that we've
taken. I decided to become a Peer Tutor because I wanted to give back to what I felt was a
service that really helped me. When I first came to Wheelock, I really struggled with
my academics and I think that college can be a big adjustment for anybody. And I was
able to get help from the Peer Tutoring Center and what really helped me was learning how
to manage my time properly. And that made a huge difference in my academic success.
And I really wanted to be able to do that for another student who I saw was struggling.
At some point in college, you'll be assigned a research paper or a project that feels overwhelming.
And when that happens, come and talk to a a librarian. Library databases are structured
to make your search process more efficient, in addition to being able to find books and
articles through the Library catalog and our Library databases. While we're available for
those drop-in research hours when people can come and talk to us, we realize that not every
time you have a question are you ready or do you want to come in and talk to a librarian.
So, we have a variety of sort of do-it-yourself guides on the website, which are basically
our tips on where to get started on any research paper or project for a particular subject or topic.
And sometimes we also have those for specific Wheelock classes that we've worked with before.

HIIT Cardio Workout At Home For Men - Home Cardio Workout For Men No Equipment - Duration: 11:09.What's up guys Carlo Macapinlac here from NewbieFitnessAcademy.com
and in this video we're going to be doing a hiit cardio workout at home for men. Remember we
post awesome workout videos like this every week and you don't want to miss it
so go ahead and like the video hit that subscribe button below and prepare to
get sweaty
alright go ahead and start your clock in three two one and here we are
so this workout is all about seven. Seven rounds for time of seven chair dips
seven air squat seven lunges seven burpees seven mountain climbers and
seven sit ups as you can see what stands out right away for this workout is the
reps. The rep scheme is very very very manageable there's only seven of each
and it's designed that way to just kind of keep you moving so you can see I kind
of did a little peek on the whiteboard here you know if you have this written
at home you know feel free to just kind of look at your notes and see where
you're at that way you don't get any of the movements confused and get the order
out of whack so we're doing it right now but the burpees as always that's
probably what's gonna stand out for this workout you know and you just want to
make sure that you you know go at a pace that you can maintain and just one
at a time the rest of the movements are very very manageable very easy and you
guys should just fly through this no problem I want to talk about the situps
here real quick as you can see I'm using this kind of a padded thingy on my lower
back that is called an AB mat most of you guys probably won't have these if
you're especially if you're doing these at home and that's okay the AB mat is
just there honestly to just kind of make the sit-ups a little bit more
comfortable it kind of supports the natural arch of my back whenever I do
sit ups you definitely don't need it if you don't have any if you kind of want
to do a DIY for an AB mat honestly just fold up a couple of t-shirts or maybe a
towel and I just put it on your lower back and that should do the trick
all right I believe this is round two right so just doing the air squats here
or sorry the lunges okay just make sure that your back knee touches our ground
whenever you do it. Again back into the burpees okay just one at a time on this
chest to deck jump at the top you can even slow it down a little bit honestly
you know just to kind of make it a little bit more manageable and your
mountain climber so for your mountain climbers just kind of tucking your knees
as high as you can make sure your butt doesn't come up too much and you know
just make sure you maintain good integrity whenever you do any of the
movements because as you can see whenever I'm doing my set ups I'm kind
of using my arms to create momentum that's perfectly okay right makes the
movement a little bit more manageable okay so for the chair dip you know if
you don't have like this little stool that I'm using honestly your couch or
stack a couple books right just elevate yourself a little bit off the ground and
that should do the trick and whatever you guys pick just make sure it's stable
so it doesn't collapse on you as you're doing the movement
All right back into the burpees again chest to deck jump at the top if you
guys are you know going at a little bit of a slower pace and that is perfectly
okay for this workout you know give yourself maybe anywhere between 15 to 20
minutes to complete this and you know that should be a perfectly good amount
of time to complete all the work that is needed and if you guys want to know
where to get AB mats if you're really interested I can put a link in the
comments down below and I'm not affiliated with these guys I'm just
gonna put a comment where you can get an AB mat you can probably even pick one up
at your local fitness store but I'll put a link in the comment section if you
want to get it online as always you guys if you want proper scaling options and
modifications for any of the movements that we're doing here and if you want
you know really awesome warm up and cool down videos right and it's really
important to do a warm up and cool down for any workout you know just so you're
not sore the next day and to keep your body healthy and functioning properly
you can download our free ultimate body weight movement cheat sheet in the
description box there's gonna be a link right there and you just want to click
on it and you know I'll send it to you right away
all right I believe that was the end of round four so we got three more rounds
to go here
hopefully you're right there with us if not that's okay just chip away at it
just seven reps at a time really important here by the way you guys for
the air squats whenever you're doing them right you just want to make sure
that you keep your chest up right don't kind of just bend your body in half
whenever you do them. For the lunges back knee touches the ground keep that front
shin nice and vertical so you don't put any unnecessary stress on your knees and
keep this movement nice and safe for these burpees you don't have to drop
down as like I'm doing here right you can either just step down and step right
back up again I explained all of this in our free ultimate body weight movement
cheat sheet that you can download in the description box
all right last couple rounds here stay with it stay at it and smile when you're
working out you know I mean this stuff is not easy you guys and and you know
you shouldn't expect it to be if you if you ever find a workout and you find
that it's like you barely broke a sweat and it's too easy then it wasn't a good
workout right like you know you want to make sure that you know the goal for any
of the workouts that we do here is you go at a high intensity obviously the
prerequisites for that is that you have good mechanics and you're competent you
know performing the movements but yeah if you have those those first two things
then you should definitely go at a high intensity right workout like this are
you know supposed to be challenging obviously they're not supposed to be
miserable right you need to find the fine line between those two things
challenging and miserable
all right last round to go here last set of chair dips right whenever you guys do
this you just want to make sure that you go parallel you don't want to go any
lower what I mean by parallel is your elbows and your shoulders right it
should be a a nice straight line there even if you're not parallel if you're
like a little bit above parallel that's okay you're still engaging your triceps
and your shoulders for that specific movement and that's all we want all
right we're gonna speed it up here to finish it off you always want to make
sure that you finish on a good note for any workout right you know you don't
want to slow down at the end you want to just you know step on that gas pedal
empty the tank you know you got nothing left after this and you know just get it
over with
all right last seven situps and we're done. Hope you are too and you know
great job on this workout all right I'll see you next one all right guys hope you
had an awesome workout and I'd love to know how you did so go ahead and tell me
in the comments down below now if you want to know how to properly warm up and
cool down and if you want safe and proper scaling options and modifications
for any of the movements and workouts that we do you can download our free
ultimate bodyweight movement sheet sheet that takes care of all that by
clicking on the link in the description box and I'll send it to you right away
all right I'll see you the next workout
why are we shooting this outside

#Chelsea to rival Manchester United and Europe's top clubs for Gremio star Arthur - Duration: 3:02.Chelsea to rival Manchester United and Europe's top clubs for Gremio star Arthur
CHELSEA are set to rival Manchester United for £26million Gremio star Arthur.
The Blues have an extensive scouting network in South America, with David Luiz, Willian, Kennedy, Ramires and Oscar among their Brazilian signings in recent years.
Arthur has established himself in the Gremio first team.
And Mundo Deportivo claim Stamford Bridge chiefs are trying to fend off competition from across Europe to land Arthur.
The midfielder, 21, has established himself as a first-team regular this season and appears to be heading out of Brazil to continue his development.
Compatriot Lucas Moura is also consistently being linked with the Blues as Paris Saint-Germain look to raise funds.
He could be signed as a like-for-like replacement if claims Willian has fallen out with Antonio Conte prove to be true.
The midfielder is a target for a number of clubs including Chelsea.
Lucas Moura is on the chopping block at PSG.
Willian staked a claim for more first-team chances with an equaliser against Liverpool, which many claimed was a fluke.
But the Brazil ace is adamant he meant to lob Simon Mignolet.
He explained: "For sure, it was a shot – no doubt.
Because some people ask, 'you want to cross or you want to shoot?'.
"I say I wanted to shoot.
Too much quality.
Antonio Conte already has several Brazilians on his books.
Chelsea needed a late Willian strike to draw with Liverpool at Anfield.
"But I'm happy to score this beautiful goal.
In this kind of game it's important to score goals.
"So now we have to carry on and stay together in this moment because we want to win all the games.
"I always try to do my best, play my best football, try to score goals.
Sometimes it's difficult but always I try.
"I want to improve myself, game by game, help the team, and I have to continue in the same way.

Gwen Stefani's Sons Go Country for Oklahoma Holiday Weekend With Blake Shelton - Duration: 2:16.Gwen Stefani's Sons Go Country for Oklahoma Holiday Weekend With Blake Shelton
Gwen Stefanis three sons are a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll. Stefani, whose Christmas duet and new album You Make It Feel Like Christmas is at No.
5, and her three boys, Kingston, 11, Zuma, 9, and Apollo, 3, have been enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday weekend at boyfriend Blake Shelton's home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
The California-born-and-bred singer and her country crooner brought along the boys, who seemed to dive into camo gear and the slower pace of life.
The group, who was joined by Gwens brother Todd Stefani and sister-in-law Jennifer and their kids, appeared to have a blast in the country wearing cozy sweaters, doing some off-roading with the boys and even going on a helicopter ride with the fam—and the whole thing was shared on Snapchat.
Gwen may be on a copter, but that doesnt mean her signature red lip wasnt perfect!.
On Sunday, the singer took to Instagram to share a photo of her son Kingston, clad in camo, gassing up at the pump. She then posted a video off-roading. Soon after that adventure, she posted a high-flying video of herself, Apollo.
Earlier in the day, Stefani also took a minute to thank her fans for making her new album No. 5 on the charts right now. I am freaking out. I cant believe you guys made my record No.
So in honor of that—cheers! The album just knocked out Maroon 5s Red Pill Blues for the hot spot.
Looks like Stefani and Shelton have a lot to gloat over to their Voice co-star Adam Levine On Thanksgiving, Stefani also took to Instagram to post a too-cute couples photo of herself and Blake, with holidays sweaters aplenty, with her brother and sister-in-law.
The No Doubt singer also posted a photo of her Oklahoma superstar fishing with her arm around her youngest son. She wrote the caption, Grateful.. Shelton and Stefanis road to finding true love was a long one.
They started dating two years ago after painful divorces. Shelton separated from country singer Miranda Lambert right around the same time that Stefani divorced her husband of 13 years and father of her sons, Gavin Rossdale.
