Divock Origi is enjoying a new lease of life at Wolfsburg and admits his long-term future
could lie away from Liverpool.
The Belgian striker joined on a season-long loan from the Anfield club in the summer with
Jurgen Klopp struggling to guarantee him game time.
The 22-year-old fell behind Dominic Solanke in the pecking order following the English
forward's arrival from Chelsea and sought a new, temporary, challenge as a result.
And he insists he continues to strive to prove himself at the highest level.
'It's difficult to say, what I can say is that I want to one day show my talent at a
constant level,' he told The Independent when asked about his future.
'That comes from playing, learning, expressing yourself and going through good and difficult
moments.
'That's what I am experiencing now at Wolfsburg.
It can come quickly or it can take some more time.
Everything can happen, I can have injuries or whatever, but of course I try to make the
most of it.
'One thing for sure is that I believe in my ability and we will see where it goes.'
Origi broke into Klopp's first-team plans during his first full season at the club and
became a key performer in their run to the final of the Europa League in 2016.
But he struggled for rhythm in his second campaign, and failed to regularly impress
despite scoring 11 times in 43 appearances.
He has scored four times in 11 appearances so far for Wolfsburg.
