Luke Shaw is one of Manchester United's fittest players beating the likes of Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic

LUKE SHAW has transformed himself into the fittest player at Manchester United.

The man who was once derided by Jose Mourinho for being out of shape has topped the rankings regarding overall core fitness.

Shaw and Antonio Valencia have emerged as joint number ones in regular testing at their Carrington training base.

And that will stun many who have mocked the United left back for his stocky frame.

A Carrington insider revealed: "Luke and Antonio are the best when it comes to actual endurance and stamina.

"Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba might be the strongest in terms of their obvious size and physicality, but Luke rates much higher in terms of overall fitness.

Shaw has been a regular in the gym in his determination to return to action, and has often stayed into the evenings to work on the cardio machines.

Mourinho himself has previously had a dig and questioned Shaw's conditioning and mental strength.

In April the United chief said: "I cannot compare the way he trains (with other players), the way he commits, the focus or the ambition.

He is a long way behind.".

That came after Mourinho also had a dig at Shaw and Chris Smalling's mental toughness when they pulled out of a game at Swansea in November 2016.

The Old Trafford gaffer then warned both players that they had to "learn to play through pain.

Shaw, still only 22, has had a nightmare time with injuries since moving from Southampton in 2014.

He hasn't started a game since limping out of the draw against Swansea in April with damaged ankle ligaments.

This season he has made only two appearances from the bench in the EFL Cup, and been an unused substitute on three further occasions.

The Church is a Bootcamp for the Passively Pious - Duration: 1:09.

"The church exists to comfort the afflicted,

"and sometimes to afflict the comfortable.

"We are a hospital for the hurting,

"but also a boot camp for the passively pious,

"who need to be mobilized for mission."

This is not just a place of safety.

But now that we are safe together as family.

As family, we can challenge one another

and equip one another, and train one another.

I want us to become the experts on challenging

the bad ideas that are out there.

And part of that training is going to be

staring into the face of the bad ideas themselves.

And seeing how they are represented in movies,

and in magazines, and in blogs,

and in articles, and internet memes.

And saying, what do they look like in popular culture

that my friends are digesting regularly,

so that I can be ready with a response.

Side note, if Prince Harry had met Meghan Markle in 2012 he would not have been able to marry her

because she Roman Catholic but the rules of royal succession changed in 2015 and

What Is The Best Way To Clean Eyelids? - Duration: 1:18.

what's the best non-irritating eyelid cleanser for blepharitis and dry eye and

we're biased here but our heyedrate lid and lash cleanser and Avenoa are the

two best Avenova is not our company but heyedrate Lid & lash cleanser is very

similar products they both have hypochlorous acid in them ours has

electrolyzed water and then table salt in it and it has a two year shelf-life

and you prescribe it for patients twice a day very easy to use I spray it

directly on my eyelids right when I wake up and then after I'm done wash my face

at night I spray it on it he just leave it on my wife on the other hand sprays

it on a cotton ball or a cotton round and then wipes her eyelids about five or

six times and that replaces her lid scrubs and then she just leaves it on as

well and does it hurt to use the eyelid spray more than twice a day no it

doesn't at all so it's it's a very natural organic vegan spray that is good

for your skin and you can actually use it for a wound care if you get a cut or

something it's a good antibacterial and so that's why we use it for lip scrubs

and blepharitis

What Is Gene Editing? | Tech-x-planations | Singularity University - Duration: 2:30.

(music)

- Gene editing is making precise

and permanent changes to living things

at the level of the DNA-

the A's, T's, C's, and G's that are

the source code and the building blocks of DNA.

There are several ways to do targeted gene editing,

but the one everybody is talking about

right now, is CRISPR-Cas9.

We've taken the natural bacterial immune system

and tweaked it to be a highly precise pair

of molecular scissors that can be directed

to any particular sequence of A's, T's, C's, and G's.

CRISPR-Cas9 has a few ingredients:

a guide RNA, the Cas9 enzyme,

the DNA that we want to change,

and a short DNA that has the edit we want.

We synthesize a guide RNA that contains

the sequence that we want to edit.

For example, the DNA sequence that causes

a disease like sickle cell anemia.

We have to have the DNA in the living thing

that we want to edit.

For example, a chromosome in a human sperm or egg.

We mix these things with Cas9,

an enzyme that's shaped like a hand.

I just happen to have Cas9 on me.

This is Cas9.

Cas9 grabs the guide RNA, and then starts searching

the chromosomal DNA for a match.

When the guide RNA matches the DNA sequence,

Cas9 finds it and cuts the chromosomal DNA.

So Cas9 is both the hand and the scissors,

and the guide RNA guides the hand

to the right place to cut.

If we want to knock out a gene-

make it not work anymore-

we can stop right there.

But if we want to edit the gene,

we add one more ingredient:

DNA that contains the sequence we want to add in.

Adding that template DNA to the mix tricks

the cell into repairing its DNA

with the new sequence, so in this case,

the sequence that is healthy instead of

the old sequence, which we said was sickle cell anemia.

Now the cell's chromosome has the edited DNA sequence,

and will pass it on to every other cell when it divides.

If you've edited a sperm or an egg,

then every cell in the embryo,

and eventually the person,

will carry the new DNA sequence.

So is this easy?

Not really, but it's a lot easier

than any other way we've had to edit DNA so far.

Kate reveals she is 'absolutely thrilled' by Prince Harry's engagement news

The beamed from ear-to-ear as she arrived at the Foundling Museum in London on Tuesday morning – and she certainly had plenty to smile about.

Kate was making her first appearance some 24 hours after the palace confirmed that her brother-in-law is engaged to his. Speaking on behalf of her husband Prince William, Kate said: William and I are absolutely thrilled.

Its such exciting news. Its a really happy time for any couple and we wish them all the best and hope they enjoy this happy moment..

The Duchess was on top form, smiling broadly as she arrived for official duty in central London. Kate, who is with husband Prince William, showed a hint of her baby bump in a patterned dress.

During the visit, she learnt about the museums history and the way it uses art and creativity to support children and vulnerable families.

The Duchess, who studied history of art at university, bonded with a group of youngsters as she heard how they benefit from the museums education and outreach programmes.

The Foundling Museum explores the history of the Foundling Hospital, the UK's first children's charity and first public art gallery.

The Foundling Hospital, which continues today as the children's charity Coram, was established in 1739 by the philanthropist Thomas Coram to care for babies at risk of abandonment.

Through a dynamic programme of exhibitions and events, the museum celebrates the ways in which the arts have helped improve children's lives for over 275 years and aims to inspire everyone to make a positive contribution to society.

Kates outing took place as royal watchers across the world continue to celebrate. Clarence House announced the happy news on Monday, revealing that the earlier this month at his home in Nottingham Cottage.

The wedding will take place in spring 2018, and to be released on Tuesday. It was just an amazing surprise, Meghan, 36, said during the couples first TV interview together on the BBC. It was so sweet, and natural and very romantic.

He got on one knee. Harry, 33, added: She didnt even let me finish. She said, Can I say yes? Then there were hugs and I had the ring in my finger.

I said, Can I give you the ring? She said: Oh, yes, the ring. It was a really nice moment. Just the two of us..

Is Marvel Killing Off Your Favorite Superheroes in Avengers 4? - Duration: 2:43.

Is Marvel Killing Off Your Favorite Superheroes in Avengers 4?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding—but in some ways, its also getting smaller. Sometime in October, 83 actors assembled in Atlanta for a photo shoot to commemorate 10 years of moviemaking history—and Vanity Fair photographed the cast, in costume, for its Holiday Issue.

Marvel Studios, which launched the MCU in 2008with Iron Man, released 16 more movies, grossing over $13 billion worldwide. It will release five more films through 2019.

So, whats next for the beloved heroes and villains? Marvel Studios Kevin Feige was predictably coy about some of the characters fates after Avengers 4.

Of the 83 actors photographed, 17 of them appear on one of four magazine covers: Paul Bettany as Vision, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Robert Downey Jr.

as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Evangeline Lilly as Wasp, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk.

Other actors, including Zoe Saldana as Gamora and Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, appear inside the magazines pages and online.

For us old-timers—me and Robert and Gwyneth and Kevin—it felt like we were the upper-classmen, Jon Favreau, who directed the first two Iron Man movies and plays Happy Hogan, said afterward.

We were emotional thinking about how precarious it all felt in the beginning. Johansson, whose character first appeared in 2010s Iron Man 2, is ready to pass the torch.

I feel a lot of joy for the next generation, she said. Its a bittersweet feeling, but a positive one. Feige promised a definitive end to the current franchise with Avengers 4.

The movie, directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, bring things youve never seen in superhero films: a finale. Set for release on May 3, 2019, it comes after Black Panther (Feb.16, 2018), Avengers: Infinity War (May 4, 2018), Ant-Man and the Wasp (July 6, 2018) and Captain Marvel (March 8, 2019).

Its safe to assume many Avengers will die at the hands of Thanos (Josh Brolin), who has appeared periodically since the first Avengers movie in 2012. But the MCU will live on, Feige assured Vanity Fair.

There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after, the producer teased. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting. After Avengers 4, Marvels contracts with Downey, Evans, Hemsworth, Johansson, Renner and Ruffalo expire.

(Whether any of them plan to extend their contracts is, at this point, unknown.) But, Disney CEO Bob Iger said Marvel Studios has the rights to 7,000 characters.

Were looking for worlds that are completely separate—geographically or in time—from the worlds that weve already visited, he said.

Going forward, Feige said, Weve got another 20 movies on the docket that are completely different from anything thats come before—intentionally..
