The First Lady has officially unveiled the Christmas decorations on display at the White

House for the holiday season.

Since then, she's received nothing but praise for her gorgeous taste from conservatives

who adore the decor.

As for the military families of this country, they were left gasping when they saw what

she had purposefully placed in one of the Christmas trees.

The holiday decorations are officially on display, gorgeously dressing up the White

House for the Christmas season.

Greens, blues, reds, and a forest of winter white shines brightly in the rooms at 1600

Pennsylvania Avenue.

Thankfully, it all became a reality with the help of more than 150 volunteers from 29 different

states who spent many, many hours setting it all up.

Of course, First Lady Melania Trump was in charge of every detail and has been tirelessly

working to make it perfect – and she has succeeded.

Every wing of the White House has a different color scheme, with each paying tribute to

something.

However, it's the decorations in the East Wing that have caught the attention of members

of the military and their families after they learned what Melania had purposely hidden

in the tree.

In the room is a special Christmas tree that has been labeled the "Gold Star Family Tree."

According to Newsweek, the tree itself honors those who have served in the military.

According to The Hill, "As White House guests enter the East Wing, they see the Gold Star

Family Tree, dedicated to military servicemen and women.

As in years past, alongside the tree are tablets to send digital holiday messages to troops

abroad."

It's no secret that President Trump and Melania have a special place in their hearts

for the members of the military and their families.

Clearly, they're not afraid to show how special they are, even down to their simple

Christmas decorations.

Melania opted to put this special tree up to honor both the current and past military

heroes who are both at home and abroad.

Along with her beautiful set-up at the White House, Melania also made a small announcement.

"The President, Barron, and I are very excited for our first Christmas in the White House,"

she said.

"As with many families across the country, holiday traditions are very important to us.

I hope when visiting the People's House this year, visitors will get a sense of being

home for the holidays.

On behalf of my husband and Barron, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and joyous

holiday season."

This is just another instance where President Trump and Melania have made our military members

a priority, ensuring they are not forgotten during the holidays when it's easy to get

distracted by our own selfish wants and desires.

The Trumps have chosen to continue a tradition where people can come and honor our military

in a special way during this special season.

In addition to the "Gold Star Family Tree," they're sending out the notes they receive

to the troops who deserve to get a little bit of Christmas cheer from home.

The men and women who serve in our military know what it's like to be unappreciated.

However, with the Trumps leading our nation, things are undoubtedly looking up for them.

As President Trump vowed to "make America great again," he knows who will help make

that a reality – our heroes in the military.

It's time to spread that message far and wide, to further prove how great our leader

and his wife are because they know where to give respect when it's due.

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Professor Jerrry Gana, has said that Nigerians are eagerly waiting for the party to return to power in 2019 due to the inability of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) to do better than the PDP.

Daily Trust reports that he made the disclosure during a consultative meeting between one of the national aspirants of the national chairman of the party, Professor Tunde Adeniran and the delegates of the party from northwest in Kaduna on Monday, November 27.

NAIJ.com gathered that Gana said: Nigerians are tired of APC and they are eagerly waiting for us (PDP) to put our house in order.

Agreed we have made mistakes during our 16 years of reign in government but we have learned our lessons and we are telling Nigerians that we are sorry..

The former minister of information added: We have a duty to restore the hopes of many hopeless Nigerians who now see PDP as an alternative platform to take over power in 2019.

He told the delegates to use their votes wisely in electing a leader that will take the party to the promise land, saying, Professor Tunde Adeniran is the man that can do that for the party and ordinary Nigerian.

The PDP stalwart further said, They decided to support Adeniran for three reasons: When the party wanted to make headway in the southwest in 2003, he helped us to mobilise the people of the zone.

Secondly, here is a man if elected the ruling APC will not witch hunt over corrupt charges, and lastly because as one of the founding fathers of the party he will put the programme of the party forward.

Also speaking, a former national chairman of the party, Okweziele Nwodo remarked that, This is the last hope of our party to come back to power and we only do that by voting for people who have the vision of our founding fathers.

He implored delegates in the zone to do the needful by electing Adeniran, saying, he is a true party man who has seen everything since the return of this democratic dispensation.

Speaking during the event, the aspirant, Professor Tunde Adeniran described the northwest as the political nerve centre of the country.

I believe if I come to you and appeal to you and we join hands with other zones as your friend and brother, you will support me in the crusade of building a new a new party.

PRINCE Harry has been pictured leaving his gym in Chelsea as he was seen for the first time since announcing his engagement to Meghan Markle.

Prince Harry, who was wearing a pale grey sweatshirt and blue hat, was flanked by a royal protection officer. He was pictured leaving his gym in Chelsea, West London without Meghan Markle.

It comes hours after Kensington Palace confirmed Prince Harry, 33, will marry the US actress, 36, in a ceremony at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle in May next year.

The couple confirmed their engagement yesterday and the fifth-in-line to the throne revealed he proposed during a cosy night in at his cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace.

Prince Harry and Ms Markle, who will live at Nottingham Cottage, will be carrying out a run of joint engagements across the country ahead of the wedding.

The wedding will be a moment of fun and joy and reflect the characters of the bride and groom, he said.

The couples first official engagement together will take place on Friday in the central English city of Nottingham, where they will raise awareness of charities working to prevent HIV/AIDS and youth crime.

Prince Harry was seen leaving the gym hours after news of his wedding to Meghan Markle.

Meghan, who attended a Catholic school as a child but identifies as a Protestant, will be baptised and confirmed into the Church of England before the wedding, Harrys spokesman said.

She intends to become a British citizen, though she will retain her US citizenship while she goes through the process. Miss Markle will be compliant with all immigration requirements at all times, the spokesman said.

The Gothic St Georges Chapel is located in the grounds of Windsor Castle, which has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years.

Prince Harry will walk down the aisle in May 2018 at Windsor Castle.

Prince Harry proposed to Meghan Markle during a cosy night in at Kensington Palace. Within the chapel are the tombs of ten sovereigns, including Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour, and Charles I.

In more recent memory, it was the venue of the wedding of Harrys uncle Prince Edward to Sophie Rhys-Jones in 1999, and of a service of prayer and dedication to mark the wedding of Harrys father, Prince Charles, to Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005.

The year 2018 looks likely to be a busy one for the British royal family, with Harrys older brother Prince William and his wife Catherine, known as Kate, expecting their third child in April.

Earlier on Tuesday, Kate said she and William were absolutely thrilled about Harrys engagement.

Real manager Zinedine Zidane has admitted that his club could be in the market for players during the January window and Luiz, who is also interesting Manchester United, has been discussed as a potential target.

Chelsea are expected to make another move for Juventus wing-back Alex Sandro, who is rated at £60m, in January, a player they failed to land in the summer.

Luiz had a massive fall out with Conte after the Champions League draw with Roma at Stamford Bridge, when the manager was unhappy with the Brazilian's reaction after being substituted.

There were further problems between the pair following the 3-0 defeat in Rome, after which Conte conducted a heated dressing-room inquest.

Luiz trained alone and was dropped for the 1-0 win over United after apparently questioning Conte's tactics and he also missed games against West Brom and Liverpool, though was recalled for the Champions League win over Qarabag last week.

Luiz will also miss the clash with struggling Swansea at Stamford Bridge tonight after Conte revealed he had suffered a knee injury and doubts remain over the 30-year-old's future at Chelsea.

Conte said: "I must be honest, in this moment it's very difficult for me to answer how long David Luiz will be out.

It will be up to the doctor to assess the situation very well and then to take the best decision for the player." Chelsea though would not sell Luiz in January unless they could find a replacement, with Conte already concerned about the depth of his squad.

The Brazilian has just over 18 months left on his contract, after returning to Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2016 in a £34million deal.

Conte made no secret of his unhappiness with Chelsea's transfer dealing at that time and the club are expected to bring in at least one or two players in January.  Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to be another target.  Chelsea go into Wednesdays clash against Swansea unbeaten in their past five Premier League matches.

And Swansea manager Paul Clement returns to the club where he was once a coach with a ringing endorsement of Alvaro Morata.  Clement, who worked with Morata at Real Madrid, had no doubts he would come good.

"He's strong, quick and good in the air," he said.
