Not only can you fill out the logbook for Upserve on the computer, but now with the

live app you can do it on your mobile device.

So when something comes to you, you can just look down and just start typing immediately.

Headache exam and why Irvine Chiropractor's Headache approach is different - Duration: 3:36.

hi dr. Shakib from Irvine spine and wellness center you've been watching my

videos about headaches I've provided you valuable information that were meant to

help you get rid of your headache or at least make it more tolerable if you're

still having a headaches chances are there's something that needs to be

looked into we need to figure out why you're having your headaches now I have

invited you to come into my office for an examination I don't know if you're

thinking about coming or if you're still hesitant let me tell you what sets my

exam apart from other chiropractors what sets us apart is the fact that the focus

of my exam is all the weak areas in your brain and your spine the fact that I

concentrate on the brain is what sets me apart

there's 79 different tests I do on your brain to see what part of your brain is

actually weak you see your brain is the command center if the command center is

weak the command is going to be weak and the whole body is not going to be

functioning properly so if you find out what is weak strengthen it and rehab

whatever is needed then the brain will do is shop I promise you we don't tell

our hearts how to beat or how for our stomachs how to digest it they already

know that so it's just a matter of making sure the hands are not tied so

when you come into my examination on the day of the exam I find out exactly what

is weak with regards to your brain and your spine I will provide you with that

information and then I'll ask you what it is you

want to do I will provide you with exercises you can do on your own that

will help strengthen and activate the part of the brain that has been weak

usually it's more than one honestly it's more than one area and it's definitely

going to involve your neck as well listen I know how you feel I suffered

from headaches since age 37 I took so many different supplements I did so many

different things and finally I was able to help myself because of what I do now

for all the other women I was sick and tired of all the labels

that would give us because we were not as patient because it's no fun to have

headaches I didn't enjoy time with my family or my children not because I

didn't love them but because I had a headache I'd wake up in the morning open

my eyes and think am I gonna have headache today or get up and take a

couple steps and go oh my gosh I think I'm gonna have a headache today I don't

want to see you guys have that I really don't so it's totally up to you we can

decide to come in get examined by someone who knows what she's doing I

promise you if I don't know how to help you I will tell you that and this is

your opportunity to put an end to something as miserable as headaches I

hope you take advantage of this and do know that I'm available to answer any

questions you have I do invite you to like my facebook page or vine spinal

Wellness Center as well as my own YouTube channel again

Irvine spinal Wellness Center you can decide what you want to do but the exam

is very very thorough and very very focused on your problem area I hope to

see you at my office take care

Autism is For Life: The Story of Jeanine Lazili | Night of Too Many Stars | HBO - Duration: 3:04.

BARBARA: Hi, Jeanine, how are you?

Good. Happy Halloween, Barbara.

Happy Halloween, Jeanine.

JEANINE: I have my own desk at Sunlife.

I like to do lots of work.

And no making mistakes.

ANNETTE: When she started working, she was 19.

She's been working ever since.

I always wanted to make Jeanine as independent as possible.

She needed to know how to take care of herself.

Going to work, y'know, she's learned a lot.

They keep teaching her new skills.

She retains it, and she practices it,

I think that's gonna carry her through as she gets older.

(INDISTINCT)

ANNETTE: She emails me every single day.

She likes to be connected to me. (CHUCKLES)

Hi Chrissie, you look nice and black and white today.

Thanks, Jeanine! Are you excited

-for the Halloween party? -Yes.

ANNETTE: I tried to put as much in place,

and get as many services for her as I could.

I did a lot of advocating for Jeanine,

and I had to fight for her.

But she's come a long way. Oh, my God, it's just wonderful.

She lives in a nice group home, she's happy,

she's home here with me... a lot.

-Can I have a kiss? -Oh, of course, Jeanine.

-There you go. -Good to see you.

ANNETTE: I was sick about a month or so ago,

and she would call me and say, "Are you all better?"

I said, "I'm all better-- almost all better,"

she said, "I wanna keep you every day."

You know what that means, don't you?

JEANINE: Mom's going to the cape this Friday, Meredith.

You're coming back home, Mom?

Oh, I'm coming back home on Sunday, yes.

-I love you, Mom. -I love you too, honey.

ANNETTE: "You know, Jeanine," I said, "Someday I will die,

but that's life,

and everybody will die sometime."

There's me.

You know how old you were then?

-Five. -You were five, yeah.

What's Jeanine doing?

See, it says, "Jeanine, aged five." (CHUCKLES)

-JEANINE: She's smiling. -Yes, you were smiling.

ANNETTE: And who's this?

JEANINE: That's me and Dad on 1981 at the motel.

-I miss him, Mom. -ANNETTE: Yeah, I know.

ANNETTE: Yeah, I don't want to leave her.

Because long as I'm here, she's gonna be fine.

I swear I'm gonna live forever for her.

I'm gonna try. I'm gonna try.

It was good to see you.

Oh, it's good to see you too, thank you.

As with many major award shows, MAMA has been under heavy scrutiny recently, with many K-pop fans accusing the show of bias and allegedly rigging votes.

Following a lack of transparency in MAMA's recent action against "illegal voting," the show's producers responded to this controversy and others at a press conference, although many fans have been unsatisfied with the response.

MAMA is being held over four nights in three different regions this year, and the first ceremony already took place on November 25 in Vietnam.

Upcoming shows will be held in Japan on November 29, and in Hong Kong on November 30 and December 1.

How Important is Sleep for Athletes: Surprising NEW Info - Duration: 3:09.

How important is sleep for athletes?

How important is sleep for athletes I think the answer is going to surprise

you I've never seen anyone else talk about this before so this is really

exciting brand new info this is quick and dirty I think use let's jump right

in I'm David Barr and if you're looking to

get there fast or strong or get lean or go longer hit the subscribe and then

that little bell so you don't miss anything so the key to sleep and

recovery is about something called the CNS now the trick is you may have heard

the CNS may be not totally cool but if you've heard of it

most people don't actually know it it sure you can ask and they'll say ok

central nervous system but what is that once you probe further you realize

people don't know what it is really simple an Tomiko distinction brain in

the spinal cord now this is the key to sleep this is why we sleep and this is

relatively new information because what happens when we sleep our brain actually

shuts down and a new system takes over it's called the lymphatic system and

it's a bit like a janitor coming in to clean up the crap after a day of school

clean up after the kids the kids come back in the next day and everything is

clean they don't know anything off the jander's work well that's what the

glymphatic system is it's like the janitor when we go to sleep ok that's

why we can't learn when we're sleeping unfortunately but it's helping to

consolidate our memories from the previous day including motor memories so

it's not just things we take in with our eyes and ears it's also going to be

motor learning those skills that we learn during the day it's going to help

bake in the results that we got from the training the day before it's going to

help with that motor learning responsible that strength adaptation

that kind of thing so that is the key to sleep or athletes sure we don't want to

hurt our growth hormone response that's not something that's going to have a

huge impact it's really more about the gloaming fax system and the CNS now

there is one more trick we do want about six to eight hours of sleep a night

everybody's different but the key is cortisol is a catabolic steroid normally

we don't want this stuff and during sleep it's great that's levels are low

because it's an anti-inflammatory and when we're sleeping we want that

inflammation process to occur inflammation seems like a dirty words

most people it's not when it's part of our

natural growth adaptation recovery response when it gets out of control

then it's a problem but normally we actually want the inflammation response

and that's what the absence of cortisol is going to help facilitate so you

probably notice that you only get sore after you wake up in the morning well

that's because we have low cortisol I think anyway no Dogma here this is also

the other key this absence of cortisol not directly anabolic but by

facilitating by allowing that inflammation response to occur that's

where we're going to have that growth adaptation recovery response that we're

often so sleep is very important but not for the reasons that people think it is

so hopefully the answers your FAQ quick and dirty is a quick and dirty answer

hopefully you found this helpful probably know someone else who could use

it give it a share with them probably owe you a protein shake hit that

subscribe and the little bell so you don't miss anything and until next time

raise the bar
